I didn’t mean to offend you Kuriko, I just find it funny we are getting this type of reaction just because it’s us, and not because of what we are doing. Does that mean we will be getting condemnations too?

Kuriko tries to save a lot of captured regions with natives before they get refounded, and this one was recently advertised pretty openly in NSGP. Regardless of the invaders' identities, Kuriko is just doing what Kuriko always does.

Even for dead regions that haven’t had a post in over a year and three months on their RMB? I don’t get it, but I do respect the strict adherence to her principles. Can’t say the same for the rest of you though. You’re just jumping on the bandwagon. I’m glad Kuriko admits there is a blacklist too! Which is more than the rest of you can do. :P

I generally support liberations regardless of invaders in the interest of seeing some pile-war action between attackers and defenders.

My my.

"... ILL repute ..."
"... BLACKlisted ..."
"... HORRENDOUS actions ..."
"... EVIL ..."

And to think I was ever worried that my old stompin' buddy was finally surrendering his fire and ice to try to fit in with the hall-monitor tyranny.

Well done, 94.

... Oppose due to egregiously subjective terminology that makes no pretense of judicial objectivity, but instead immediately casts its opponents as unpious heathens and heretics.

If it’s a dead, irrelevant region, why are you bragging about it in gameplay? If you assign it relevance, don’t turn around and say the opposite once people start treating it that way.

Kuri never admitted to a blacklist. There may be a blacklist in 10K Islands for all you know. I am sure your name is at the top of quite a few regions blacklists. Anyway, if it is so dead and irrelevant, why all the bragging and woohooing? If it means nothing, why do you guys want it so bad?

Full support. I don't want a region I was once a part of, sullied like this. Even if it is dead.

Raiding I am not against, but blacklisted people raiding? Nuh-uh, no way.

Kuriko totally admitted to the blacklist existing. Says so in her proposal.

Why are you against blacklisted players raiding? Is it because we do it better than everyone else?

2/6/2020, 11:05:42 PM CST: Resiifzeeme relocated from Farwell to Pars.

Am of the impressed that they could only manage one endorsement out of that entire group of experienced and talented raiders. There are people who have never updated before who can manage better than one endorsement before the target updates. Claims that any of us feel threatened by short triggers where only one endorsement happened on time is laughable.

:rofl:
1 is all it takes! A win is a win, and you salty, discrimination loving blacklisting nations are simply being faced with the logical conclusion of the stupidity of blacklisting people you dont like.

Pass your silly offensive resolution, we shall wear it as a badge of honor to require all pacifics to marshal their delegates to vote, just so you can try and take a dead region. Get ready to pass lots more!

Ambassador Cyrus Vance Jr. puts on his thick glasses as he reads from a paper addressing the Security Council, "The government of West-Eastern America has examined this resolution at length. It is in my view and that of our government that this Pars does not meet the criteria to be liberated. Pars has not offered any evidence at all to prove its case. Should we let unverified claims dictate the policy and agenda of this deliberative body? This is a slippery slope and we shouldn't go about partaking in needless interventions with not even a grain of evidence. I strongly condemn this resolution and urge all delegates to vote against it. Thank you." He yields, takes off his glasses, and goes back to his seat.

The Principality of Remlasia:

  • respects the fact delegates are elected to represent regions;
  • does not believe any World Assembly resolution or law had been violated by the region in respect of the election of the current delegate that would warrant liberation;
  • believes this issue to be a matter for the region to resolve on their own;
  • shall therefore be voting AGAINST this proposal.

I'm voting against, not because I don't think small, low-activity regions need to be protected, but because the proposal is vague about the threat currently posed to Pars. We need to know the specific nature of Pars' situation. Were they raided? Did a member (or members) of the region's leadership go rogue? What, exactly, is going on that necessitates WA involvement?

Raided by Fossils and Friends (who are deliberately left unnamed in this proposal), but liberated by TITO a few minutes(!) after voting began.
