Our response was to direct all flights from Wuhan to a dedicated gate at Athens Solihull Airport, and provide advice, support and medical attention to those that feel unwell. For example, during the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, the MoT suspended any flights from Mainland China to Zhouran, meanwhile the MoTA works together with the MoH in maintaining and securing Zhouran's highly-strict biosecurity, in order to protect the health of the people, fauna and flora of the nation from outside diseases.

If there is a large-scale viral outbreak within Zhouran, the Ministry of Health together with both the Ministry of National Emergency and Ministry of Defense would rapidly mobilize assets to deal with the virus and contain it, thus mobile field hospitals from the MoH, MoNE, and the Zhouranese People's Army would be quickly set up in affected areas.

Ever since The Kangmukeli and political-hardliners took power in 2027, the nation's already-strict biosecurity became even more strict while any viral outbreaks in other nations are treated as potential existential-threats to the Zhouranese People & Nation. Everyone who has completed their National Service are reservist and would be called on to help contain the situation. The government may take drastic measures such as body burning but they probably wouldn't execute anyone.

The 2003 SARS Epidemic saw quarantine of some Mcnernian and Kaisongese nationals.

The 2013-2016 Ebola virus saw Mcnernian epidemiological personnel successfully deployed to Africa. Including a Hospital Ship of HM Mcnernian Royal Navy to provide advanced facilities.

Mcnernian troops operating under Agreement with the United Nations as part of MONUSCO provided security in Ebola hit conflict zones. CBRN troops operated in support of UN and WHO Personnel as per the New York Treaty.

The 2019-2020 Wuhan epidemic is of concern. HM Government is investigating as legally and safely as possible allegations that the Peoples Republic of China has a bioweapons facility in the area. All flights out of the area are immeadiately diverted to Air Force instillations for quarantine. So Far this protocol has not be implemented.

Redwynd believes the most effective way of dealing with a new virus is to impose quarantine and send in professionals to help the affected. While the economy takes a hit by using taxpayer dollars to fund this initiative, we could ask for donations to help alleviate that burden. The quarantine will help prevent the virus from spreading to other areas and those affected will receive the care they need. Our medical professionals will also be able to study and potentially develop immunizations for the virus that may help in the advent of a future outbreak.
