Heavily interested, been looking for a superhero RP. Was gonna put an app in for a pro wrestler character but there's a lot of strength based heroes already so I'm leaning towards a stuntman type with a powerful healing factor. Will get an app up later after work.

Severina Moraitis
Profiling & Evaluation File
SECURITY LEVEL: Declassified - All Rights Reserved, Team Infinity International ©

NAME: Severina Moraitis
ALIAS: Breakline
ALLEGIANCE: Team Infinity - Generation NEXT
OCCUPATION: Superhero

APPEARANCE:
Image

GENDER: Female
AGE: 22
BUILD: 5'7", 140 lbs

POWERS: Severina is capable of taking control of glass within ten feet of herself. Once this glass enters her control, it becomes part of the "swarm" and hovers around her body until dismissed. Severina has full control of this swarm and can shape it into different objects or telekinetically move it, allowing her to use glass as a projectile or to create items of varying strength based on the thickness and the type of glass. Manipulating glass, however, exerts her body physically, while moving it telekinetically has much less impact on her. The glass must also be within ten feet of her for her to initially take control of it.

EQUIPMENT: Typically, Severina carries a pair of Desert Eagle .44s while keeping a long knife sheathed most of the time additionally.

STRENGTH: 11

DEXTERITY: 13

HEALTH: 12

INTELLIGENCE: 13

PERSONALITY: Severina's background heavily impacts who she is today - after living in what amounts to captivity, her independence and freedom are paramount to her, and are her biggest goal next to simple self preservation. Outwardly she may appear confident and in control of things, but thanks to this background and the impact it's had on her, Severina has a hard time dealing with personal relationships and the like and often keeps her distance from other people, showing a confident persona but keeping them at arm's length - where they're too far away to hurt her or to disrupt the independence that she's sought out.

BIOGRAPHY: Severina Moraitis may be a superhero, but she didn't take the route that most take to get into the position. She was spotted at a young age due to her abilities, but she didn't get picked up by some superhero team or academy looking to develop future heroes. She was instead brought into the fold of the Bureau of Metahuman Activity through their Special Actions Program, a subdivision which handles irregular tasks and sometimes deals directly with controlling the metahuman population of the United States - superheroes included. During this time, Severina was raised on site and received intensive training through her teenage years while staying in a facility that few people knew about, and working for a program that existed entirely out of the public limelight.

Of course, this took some toll on her. The fact of the matter was that the Special Actions Program hardly provided any freedom. It was a life of relative comfort, and living with modern furnishings and enough nice things to not have to worry about material possessions, but it came at the cost of being on call to the organization at all times and having no freedom to explore other career paths or even take time off and travel elsewhere. The facility may have been nice, but it was the only surroundings that Severina saw for a very long time. The exception, of course, was when she was sent into the field to handle various tasks around the country, and sometimes, covertly across borders into Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Iraq, and other regions relevant to the United States. Effectively, it was her job to deal with metahuman bad actors who fell outside of the more public nature of well known villains. Terrorists, spies, metahuman inventors who produced equipment for hostile groups, and others such as that.

Severina became an effective assassin within the SAP, but she still desired an exit - and went through the arcane and complex process of leaving the group, involving a lot of talking to different departments and filling out pages of reports and paperwork, which was designed as much as possible to prevent someone from correctly filling it and being able to leave. And this also came with a price, of course, as one of the terms for leaving was that the organization took back all of the funds she had earned... And gave her a debt for everything she had earned in the past. Still, she was free. As someone who had only been an assassin, however, Severina was left with few employable skills outside of that line of work. She knew how to use her powers effectively, but lacked social and other skills - and so she went for one of the few jobs that supports her preexisting skills, hero.

Upon applying with Team Infinity, she was assigned to the Generation NEXT show partly because of her experience and partly because of the producers believing it would be a compelling story to have someone on the show who had zero information available about them whatsoever. The belief, of course, is that her lack of public information and high degree of competency will make her one of the most speculated about heroes on the show, or possibly the organization in general.

Fae Drachoit
Profiling & Evaluation File
SECURITY LEVEL: Declassified - All Rights Reserved, Team Infinity International ©

NAME: Fae Drachoit
ALIAS: Daoine
ALLEGIANCE: Team Infinity - Generation NEXT
OCCUPATION: Superhero

APPEARANCE:
Image

GENDER: Female
AGE: 22
BUILD: 5'8", 156 lbs [6'0", 200 lbs]

POWERS:
Image

Plant Control and Enhancement - Fae can, within ten feet of herself, control plants. She can make them grow, harden, sprout thorns, contort, and so forth. For the most part she is limited to what a plant can already do, but she can make them more potent. The only exception is that rose like thorns can be sprouted from plants, and stronger plants (Trees, strong vines, ETC) can sprout thicker, longer thorns. As an extension of this power, she is immune to effects caused directly by plants (Poisons, pheromones, ETC) unless they've been concentrated, or otherwise modified (This means most drugs will still effect her, but poison sap straight from the source will not)

Fire Generation and Control - Much weaker than her connection to plants, Fae has limited control over, and generation of fire. Fires she creates can't exceed that of an average campfire, and she can't generate fires much lager than her own fist. She also has no immunity to fire or other heat effects, but can create flames that instead cause plants to grow, though they extinguish after about fifteen to twenty seconds (Depending on situation, larger plants will "burn" longer)

Transformation/Horns - Fae has a pair of hard rams horns. Against most metahumans they're not much more dangerous than a knife, though it does give Fae a hard head and some resistance to concussions (only some). More interesting is her ability to force her body through a painful, and temporary transformation. She becomes bigger, stronger, faster, and her powers grow stronger, but at the loss of her ability to think, and self control. She becomes ruled by her base desires. Be it hunger, anger, or something else. On top of this, her judgement becomes weaker, and she can't think straight, as if high on her own power. The transformation lasts only five minutes, and when it ends it leaves her exhausted, and her powers are weakened for some time after it ends.

EQUIPMENT: 1x Taurus 454 Raging Bull Casull, 1x Glock G20 10mm, a large combat knife, and three pouches to hold plant seeds or samples.

STRENGTH: 12 [13]

DEXTERITY: 13 [15]

HEALTH: 14 [15]

INTELLIGENCE: 12 [8]

PERSONALITY: Fae is...simple on the surface, complex underneath. To most she seems a quiet, if friendly presence that doesn't typically intrude on others. Beneath this though, she is fears the loss of the freedom she has gained, as well as being abandoned. Because of this she tends to keep people at arms length, but if you get close to her, you will find she is colder than she appears, but not without warmth. She prefers to do things the efficient way, not the flashy way, possibly because of her years of training. Abandoned as a child, and with no friends in the captivity she knew as home, she is desperately lonely, though she fears to let anyone close enough to solve that problem. Instead most people will just see her as the quiet, if reliable girl that smiles for the cameras, but rarely smiles when she thinks she's alone.

BIOGRAPHY: Fae Drachoit had little choice in the life she led. Abandoned when she wasn't even a month old, she was kicked from orphanage to orphanage for years. When her horns began to grow, and her eyes became red, people around her started to take notice. She was bullied, isolated, and what little she owned defaced. Then an escape. An outburst when pushed to far led to her attracting the attention of Bureau of Metahuman Activity. Taken away from the only life she was ever known by the Special Actions Program, Fae found herself in a new, hidden world.

Raised away from the public eye, and trained in ways no child or teenager should endure, Fae was not unscathed by her time in the program. While it was comfortable compared to what she had known, it was still not an easy life. Even others of her age continued to isolate her, as her quiet nature, and horned mutation made her stand apart. She couldn't choose where to go, or what to do if it wasn't already on base. She felt as if she wasn't living, just playing the part of a new toy in someone else's toy box. She never got to enjoy what little travel she saw, always deployed to hunt and kill, or capture. Even when she was sent beyond the states themselves, she couldn't enjoy the exotic locations.

Seeing time in many regions the US had interest in, including Iraq, Iran, Mexico, and Afghanistan, she has learned all to keenly that while the world of superheros may be bloody, what happens behind the curtain is even bloodier. She was often sent to silence metahumans that were rally forces that could threaten more public US operations, or rescue captured officers. Fae was an effective agent by all accounts, rarely leaving a body for anyone to find, and rarer still leaving even a single bullet casing. Her powers aren't the bloodiest, but any who underestimates her are doomed to meet the same fate as the targets she has hunted.

Still, despite all this, she longed for something more. Something she could, and still hasn't been able to put her finger on. She knew she wanted away from this base, away from the endless hunting, from the gilded cage she called a home. After some thinking, and much discouragement from her handler(s), Fae decided to leave this life behind. It was difficult, she hated paperwork, but eventually she earned her freedom. Lost everything she had, and more in the process, but she was finally free. Unfortunately, the world outside had little for someone like her, and at first she turned to the streets. A pickpocket, and thief, she almost became on of the very villains she now faces.

Instead she decided that if she was going to have to use her skills, she could at least use them without having to check every shadow for a killer. She took the leap, and applied to Team Infinity. After some debate, and worry she'd be rejected, she was assigned to generation NEXT. At first she couldn't believe her luck, but given her odd appearance, the lack of information on her, and the skills she brought to bear, it was only natural. She wasn't the only mystery on the team, but fans loved dissecting mysteries, and she could carve her own name for herself given the time.

When we lose one we love, our bitterest tears are called forth by the memory of hours when we loved not enough. - Maurice Maeterlinck

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get. - Confucius

Olympia Galatas
Profiling & Evaluation File
SECURITY LEVEL: Declassified - All Rights Reserved, Team Infinity International ©

NAME: Olympia Galatas
ALIAS: Gladiator
ALLEGIANCE: Team Infinity: Generation NEXT
OCCUPATION: Superhero, formerly vigilante, martial arts instructor, cook

APPEARANCE:
Image

GENDER: Female
AGE: 19
BUILD: 6' 1", 144lbs

POWERS: Olympia has two powers: the first is what she calls 'weaponisation'; whatever she is holding, she will know how to most effectively utilise it as a weapon. It does not have to actually be a weapon; it can be anything, from chopsticks to knives to firearms to cars and even planes, as long as she can interpret what she's holding as a potential weapon, it counts. When she isn't holding a weapon, her power defaults to her own body being her weapon of choice, and so she gains knowledge of all martial and physical arts.

Her second power is a forcefield that extends outwards for a meter in a sphere around her that robs physical projectiles of their momentum when passing through it; she can only keep the shield up for a few seconds at a time, activating instantly on her command. It's a useful defensive trick that's saved her many times in the past, but she can't keep it up permanently, and it has a recharge time of a few seconds after she's used it.

EQUIPMENT: FN Model 1910, fighting knife, several throwing knives, AR-15

STRENGTH: 11

DEXTERITY: 14

HEALTH: 10

INTELLIGENCE: 10

PERSONALITY: Olympia is an angry person. Her temper is on a hair trigger, she strongly dislikes anyone insinuating she's weak or lesser than them or anyone asking if she wants help with anything and she can be quite belligerent and has no time for people not willing to stand up for themselves. Otherwise is normally quite relaxed and nonchalant, seemingly being able to disregard just about everything unless it pokes at her temper or her weakness complex. She genuinely enjoys fighting as one of the few ways of escaping her otherwise dull life, and seemingly is untroubled by her own mortality or any larger questions of morality.

BIOGRAPHY: Olympia was born in Oakland, a second generation migrant; she was born in the city and grew up in the city with just herself and her mother, never leaving, her father having left them both at a young age. She grew up on the edge of poverty, frequently going without food for a day or two, her mother busy trying to earn enough money from her dead-end minimum wage job to pay rent and keep them alive.

So Olympia became angry at the world, over time. About all those people who had more than her but didn't realise what they had, all those rich bitches and their fancy cars and clothes and living off nothing more than their names. People who were supposed to be 'heroes' but didn't save anyone really. Didn't matter if you punched a criminal or thirty and threw them in jail when there were bigger problems with the world out there.

Olympia could've easily ended up as a villain, but she was lucky enough to end up in a boxing club. She was good, not good enough to make a proper living, but it kept her off the streets, gave her discipline, made her think. She dropped out of high school; she wasn't stupid, she just didn't see the point, it wasn't like she could afford college and she needed the time to work odd jobs to help her mother in paying the rent and to pay her fees for her club.

She doesn't remember when her power appeared. She just always accepted it as natural, being able to move how she did, being able to fight like she'd been fighting her whole life. But eventually boxing simply no longer could quench her urge to let loose and spill blood, and so she took to one-person vigilantism. It wasn't like anyone would miss her, and it gave her a thrill. Vigilantism is far more dangerous than being a hero; heroes want to fight you, you want to fight villains, you don't have the support structure of a team which means killing is far more common among vigilantes.

But her streak of solo vigilanteism could only last so long, and she eventually fell in with others like herself, but even then, no vigilante lasts forever. It doesn't bring in the money regularly, keeping up the double-life with the injuries is stressful so eventually Olympia had the simple choice of give it up, or go into formal hero-work. She'd built up a reputation as a vigilante, however unintentionally, which gave her an in with the help of one of her vigilante team mates to get into Generation NEXT. After all, if they just pulled in known talent, there wouldn't be much spice or unpredictability to the show, but a hardened vigilante would be just enough to keep it interesting. Even if, deep down, Olympia felt like a sellout for taking it.

Heavily a WIP. Will appreciate input as I flesh out the character more.

Gregory Craigsman
Profiling & Evaluation File
SECURITY LEVEL: Declassified - All Rights Reserved, Team Infinity International ©

NAME: Gregory "Greg" Craigsman
ALIAS: Zero
ALLEGIANCE: CyberX Industries - Generation NEXT
OCCUPATION: Superhero

APPEARANCE:
Image

GENDER: Male
AGE: 20
BUILD: 5'12" 143 lbs
-------------------------

POWERS:

  • Cybernetics Master List - Gregory's eyes and limbs have received implants that grant him some form of enhanced speed and reflexes. However, these implants were designed merely to enhance his single metahuman power, Firearms Affinity, and thus do not grant him greater durability nor strength comparable to dedicated cybernetics. They are resistant to electric attacks, however. The implants are powered by a battery that uses his own metabolism to function, granting him the use of his cybernetics for a full day before needing to recharge. If not needed, Gregory can choose to switch them off to conserve power.

    • Cybernetic Eye Implants - Gregory has cybernetic implants in both of his eyes. Designed for combat purposes, they are used to link Gregory's weapons and implanted limbs to his vision. He is thus able to see where his weapons are aimed at without needing to focus, then coordinate his other implants to achieve the best firing stance and position even against moving targets. This grants Gregory his renowned firearms skills, allowing him to effectively engage targets using his ranged weapons from distances judged difficult for even the best sharpshooters in the world.
    • Cybernetic Limb Implants - Similar to his eyes, Gregory's limbs have implants that are linked to both his weapons and his eyes. While these do not grant him any enhanced strength nor durability, they do increase Gregory's reflexes in regards to his shooting which allow Gregory to draw, aim, and reload his weapons faster than most individuals can. They also allow him limited enhanced agility, faster than most metahumans but certainly slower than dedicated speedsters.
    • Battery - Gregory's cybernetic implants are powered by a battery linked to his digestive system, allowing their continued use for 24 hours.
  • Firearms Affinity - Gregory's only natural power is his ability to instantly master any firearm that he comes into skin contact with. This includes everything from their use, their maintenance, their construction, and even their modifications and conversions. Not only does this make him perhaps the best firearms user the scene has, but it also makes him a knowledgeable gunsmith as Firearms Affinity grants him knowledge to craft these weapons. Using simple materials he could gather anywhere and by following the schematics of firearms he mastered, Gregory can build and repair weapons directly on the field if need be. However, this power is limited to firearms that can be carried and operated by an individual.

EQUIPMENT:

  • Mark 17 Suit - While on the field, Gregory usually wears a dark carbon suit hidden underneath his clothing to serve as his protection. It is a form-fitting suit that covers every part of his body except for his feet, his hands, and his head. Made of an advanced carbon fiber material, the suit is durable enough to stop small arms fire and knives, but blunt force trauma can still hurt Gregory if he is hit directly.
  • Weapons Loadout - Gregory changes his loadout depending on mission requirements, but he always keeps two Walther P99s and two combat knives on his person at all times.

STRENGTH: 11

DEXTERITY: 14

HEALTH: 11

INTELLIGENCE: 12

PERSONALITY:

Stoic and quiet, Gregory Craigsman is a man of few words and even fewer emotions. There is always bored expression on his face. His movements when outside combat are calculated and reserved, chosen to minimize any attention that may be drawn to him. His sentences, whenever they are spoken, are always direct and blunt. No matter the situation presented to him, Gregory always reacts with the same calmness that many expect from him. However, this does not make him an apathetic loner. Gregory is, in fact, very friendly and accommodating to those who approach him. He has a sense of loyalty towards those he considers his friends, and he is always someone who can be approached for advice. He is passionate in everything he does, and he is determined enough to see his goals through to the end. All in all, he's just your average quiet metahuman.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born in the city of Wichita, Gregory was one of the people who never seemed destined for anything great in life. In his own words, he had an average childhood in an average city in the middle of nowhere. He had a loving family, great friends who looked out for him, and a pet dog that he took great care of. He never seemed to have any exceptional talents, merely being an average jack-of-all-trades who could do lots of things but never master one. He did well in school, but he wasn't one of those young prodigies who were scouted for debates and quiz competitions. This led to a sense of wrongly-placed complacency within the young Gregory, leading him to never exert effort in anything and developing the minimalist personality he currently has today. But deep within him still lay that hunger for adventure, a hope that one day some miracle would arrive that would take him away to a world of greatness. But the days kept passing by, and Gregory began to lose that hunger as time passed by.

That was, until that day. A large caravan had arrived in his neighborhood. It was CyberX Industries, looking for volunteers for a strange test that they claimed would be able to detect whether or not one had an active Gene M, the gene responsible for giving abilities to metahumans. Thinking that he had nothing better to do, a fourteen-year-old Gregory took the test and, to his surprise, was told that he was indeed a metahuman. He was then told that CyberX Industries was looking for metahuman volunteers for a secret project they were working on. They were putting together a hero team, they said, and that for a young man like him, it would be the chance of a lifetime. So, with the blessing of his parents and friends, Gregory accepted.

Life at the CyberX Industries facility at New York was like a dream. When before he had nothing to do, now he found he lacked the time to rest. The first half-year of his life at CyberX was mostly spent trying to figure out what his powers were. When his latent Firearms Affinity was finally discovered, he was now subjected to basic training similar to that of soldiers to further develop his body. Then after that, firearms and weapons training. He spent the next year training together with other metahumans to develop their abilities and coordination further. And then, they received cybernetic augmentation and were trained in their use.

Now, at the age of 16, Gregory Craigsman was reinvented into Zero, a member of the new hero team known as the CyberAgents. Aimed to specifically cater to the entertainment needs of military LARPers, gun nuts and cyberpunk fans, the CyberAgents operated as a unit similar to specialized special forces teams such as SEAL Team Six and the British SAS. Specializing in small-unit operations such as hostage rescue, commando warfare, and rapid deployment, the team was supported by an intelligence network operated by CyberX. It was even rumored that the team was secretly contracted by various countries around the world to perform their dirty work for them, but this could not be confirmed due to CyberX's extreme secrecy. All in all, 87 special missions were known to have been conducted by the team and broadcast to the public, with rumors of nearly two dozen more unconfirmed.

Four years later, the CyberAgents team would be disbanded after their contracts with major television networks were not renewed. It was then decided by the higher-ups of the company that twenty-year-old Gregory would be sent to Generation NEXT, believing that the resulting publicity there would boost public demand for a renewal of the CyberAgents show and for their own products that had proved popular with its viewers.

Olympia does more than just firearms as well, they're just what she uses most often.

NAME: Amalia Kaguya Huerta
ALIAS: Psycho
ALLEGIANCE: Generation NEXT
OCCUPATION: Superhero

APPEARANCE:
Image

GENDER: Female
AGE: 20
BUILD: 5'10", 139 lbs

POWERS: Amalia has moderately strong telekinetic ability, allowing her to grab and move things through gestures. Her fine control when using this ability is limited but she is still able to move things accurately and can also pick things up and throw them - the largest thing that she can pick up is a car, although based on her strength level she would simply be able to move it slowly and wouldn't be able to bring it up off of a hover on the ground. Her power is more effective when used on items which weigh less than that, allowing her to move them around freely and use them as launched projectiles at an opponent. Her telekinesis range extends about one hundred meters in any direction of herself.

EQUIPMENT: Amalia generally keeps six throwing knives which can be turned into telekinetic projectiles using her power. She additionally keeps a P226 .40 S&W pistol.

PERSONALITY: Amalia is perhaps one of the model heroes for this day in age, not because of any amount of fame but because of the way she operates. She's very much a social person, and she's made full use of the social media that she's grown up with - frequently online, frequently sharing her misadventures as a hero. Although in the past, she had to do this under a pseudonym thanks to the illegal nature of vigilantism. This sociability also extends into her real life. She tends to be the organizer among her group of friends, the one that gets everyone going and convinces them to focus on something, and also a good promoter of ideas who appeals to others well and can get many people to consider a different perspective. However, despite this social nature, there are still times when Amalia finds herself feeling... Lonely, at times due to not necessarily relating to everyone else. Not everyone has to split their time between the high life and the low life like she has in the past, after all, and it's left her feeling like the outsider in both worlds thanks to her own upbringing.

BIOGRAPHY: Amalia Huerta never needed to be a hero - she's not one of the ones that joined because of the chance to get rich and famous, and she's not necessarily someone that joined the field because she saw herself as becoming some great and upstanding icon of virtue either... Even if some of her actions are motivated by a sense of justice. With her parents, and some of her aunts or uncles or cousins for that matter, being involved in Silicon Valley, she didn't have a need to do hero related things for money. In fact, when starting as a vigilante, she only made enough from it to beak even and support herself, collecting donations from those who would give while working odd jobs during the day and doing hero activities at night in the dangerous city of Oakland.

Her grandparents had come over from Mexico and Japan and hadn't had a lot... But when the tech boom came and Silicon Valley became a hotspot, the families moved up in status dramatically and while they weren't exactly CEOs, multiple family members had their hands in startups. By the time the current generation came about, and the two families were somewhat connected by Amalia's mother and father being together, there was a lot of wealth between them and the expectation had moved on to the children. Their grandparents had made a better life for their parents, who had in turn been able to provide for Amalia and her siblings... But at the cost of those very siblings being expected to keep the wealth growing. And that would likely mean getting into the same kinds of work as their parents.

Amalia, growing up in Palo Alto, was no slacker. Still, the very nature of boardroom work or of being some programmer stuck typing out lines of code for hours on end was one that she couldn't handle - she was faced with the realization that it'd be a miserable life due to her more adventurous and social nature, and so, she moved out on her own after high school while saying she would attend college later and figure out what she was going to do in the family businesses. She didn't intend to go to some school like Berkeley or Stanford like she'd said, of course. Nor did she intend to work for her family in some way. Thanks to the power she had developed as a child, she had other plans - even if she had been told before that her plans were foolish and she was better off just ignoring it and picking a regular career.

While living in Oakland with a number of artists in a communal loft, and working odd jobs during the day, Amalia became a vigilante by night and quickly became one of the relevant players in the Bay Area superhero scene, helping to take down a number of villains that slipped by the watch of Team Infinity and their own team in the area. She eventually ended up the leader of her own little outfit of vigilantes, which was a natural result of her social skillset, but while she enjoyed that time, it couldn't last forever... It was a massive risk to apply for something like Generation NEXT, but she knew she couldn't hide from her family and their expectations forever, and they wanted her to be more than a deadbeat who worked part time during the day and did vigilante things at night. So rather than join them in a corporate boardroom, she found herself accepted by Generation NEXT and came out to them about her vigilante life for the first time.

Not having to wear a mask anymore after going legitimate was, of course, liberating. But also terrifying. Because she's never been a hero without a mask before, and now, that's her reality... And unlike most heroes, Amalia has found herself with a massive TV audience. Time will show whether she succeeds with it or crashes and burns under the increased pressure.

This grabbed my curiosity. I'll hold off until college work relaxes a bit

While the interest is appreciated, I don't know if your handling of the problems surrounding your character creation and overall fit since last time has improved enough for you to be accepted into this RP.

Your characters and RPing in Heroes of Tomorrow Redux and Fates and Futures have left too much to be desired to accept an app without significant improvement, I think.

Ripping characters almost directly from other franchises and characters taking arbitrary actions which can hardly be explained with their IC personalities and motivations (so, pretty much the entire Nev and Jenny ship for one...) are things that Heroes Live is trying to stay away from.

Well, I can't argue with that one. I got distracted by all the fun to notice the apparatus flaws

Seems mostly fine but as for the power I'm not entirely sure how it works.

Might be overpowered to drop someone to sleep, effectively taking them out of any fight, just with your voice. It could perhaps be handled by a dice contest between opponent willpower (which by default is the same score as their IQ) and his IQ, but even then... Kinda seems like he can completely remove someone from a fight quicker than anyone else that's shown up so far can.

Think I could limit it to just one person at a time and to just humans? The M gene prevents other metahumans from falling asleep for some reason?
