I’m not exactly sure what caused this outbreak but it seems that it is a lot more serious than what the Chinese government claims.

Singapore and Hong Kong have been screening air passengers from Wuhan, and US authorities announced similar measures starting on Friday at three major airports in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.

Given the population density of both nations... yup, it has to be like that! Especially because of the former where one infectious sneeze would set off a catastrophe.

For the actual discussion, let's just hope that it won't spread further, or kill more. And perhaps a vaccine, if it exists. EDIT: I did a quickie Google Search. I think it exists, but for not all the strains. I ain't an expert on this one, so I'm gonna sit out on further discussion.

Yeah but Beijing claims that da disease only exists in muh Wuhan and not anywhere else in China while it is sufficiently widespread to spread to Japan and Thailand.

Chinese New Year is coming in a week. Lots of people are moving around in China. This does not look good at all.
