Sir the arcadians have proposed themselves joining the fight against Sevevill. In my mind the only thing we can do is submit in the UCSO and continue our invasion in the September island and Anavokia Head genera Thad Greenvill said. We would have more forces to put into Diyaristan and Anavokia.

Feasable thought. But what about the image of the empire?

We havent even put boots on the ground in the UCSO. It would mearly be drawing back our ships.

Hmm. Fair point we are durrasticly outnumbered in land forces and naval forces we need our ships elsewhere and keeping them in this pointless task is a unworthy task for our armies.

Today Imperial forces are calling for a armstice in the UCSO. We are willing to negotiate a settlement that is good for every side without the loss of more life in that front. We will dissmiss our navys from the blockade and stop the bombing campaign in the front. If other nations are agreeable we will be happy to leave the UCSO alone.

Official Statement from the Free Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Free Kingdom of Allanea wishes to state, once again, that we do not have any designs whatsoever on the Empire of Sevevill, its sovereignty, or its honor.

We propose - pending approval by our allies in Altos and Stratis and our coalition partners in Oceania - the following deal:

1. The Empire of Sevevill shall end its conflict with UCSO.
2. All claims regarding the conflict are hereby ended, with no war guilt being assigned. If it is true that Oceanians have started the war (which we doubt), then the devastation already wreaked is more than proportional as retaliation.

In other words, we desire no contributions or reparations, and desire merely an end to the conflict and a return to the status quo ante bellum. We hope that our allies in Altos and Stratis shall agree.

The denouncement of the Autocracy of Slaveska did not fall on deaf ears. Minister of Foreign Affairs Drago Zevnik had this to say in response to the Arcadian Government.

“You can denounce us and speak bad about us all you want but the Slaveskan people know the truth. Your government has consistently back pedaled and refused to uphold your standards set in place by your government. As a nation in today’s world our words hold a lot of weight. You have failed to bring to fruition your goals and uphold your standards but you have succeeded in one thing…being spineless.

An alliance is formed for mutual benefit, and is a relationship based on interests and qualities. Your alliance gave us no benefit. Your word meant nothing. The Slaveskan people do not hate your government or your people….they just distrust your government and your policies. Policies which you failed to provide any direction on.”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs left the podium with nothing else to say. A lot of speculation by the international community has presumed an automatic alliance with the South Western Bloc. We reached out to the Slaveskan Government for more comments on these assumptions but the common answer we received was “No Comment” or “I can not confirm nor deny these assumptions”. The Federal government has responded to Sevevill's call for peace after the Federation threatened to join the war against the Empire of Sevevill. As suitable mobilisation is complete and the rapid reaction force nearing September Island, the chancellor has asked Sevevill to give the UCSO Coalition a time frame in which the full withdrawal of Southwest Bloc forces can be conducted. If September Island is not released from Imperial hands, the Federation will be forced to take military action.

In addition to this, the Federation has also demanded that Sevevillian forces cease the unprovoked invasion of Anavokya. Once again if these demands are not met then the Federation will be forced into action. The freedom of the people of September Island must be secured and the situation in Drejveska resolved without military means as the conflict, barely being a few weeks old, has already climbed to drastic levels with Trekkish military leaders deeming it suitable to begin to conduct gas attacks on civilian population centres, which is not only a unjustified attack but also another unprovoked attack.

The so-called "NLFN" must also cease its defensive operations as it has invaded and violated the sovereignty of many nations. The Chancellor has called for diplomatic talks in Casatolo to come to a settlement and end the bloodshed. War may be inevitable, but the Federation will make sure that the least amount of blood is spilt and that the conflict ends quickly. Hoping that many shares in her vision for the future, Chancellor Beaulne has asked ASAF aligned nations to back these demands and that the UCSO coalition joins them in their quest to assure peace in the region.

They were moving forward. Slowly but slowly is still forward. They had had to start branding captured soldiers and setting them free with a promise of hot lead if they were captured again. Although the push for movement coming from command had started to become a little devastating. A inability to move anything other than vehicles with tracks or pickups. The air raids had proven to be working well although there were still large groups of SIDF forces hiding throughout buildings and in a large center they had started to manufacture as a stronghold.

Those flyboys are getting risky... He watched as a SG-87 swung down and unleashed some missiles on SIDF strongpoints around thee blocks away from the building they were crammed into. There were somewhat established lines in the city. Imperial forces hadent been able to move and neither had they. He had asked for tanks to be airdropped in so they had another advantage but so far the Admrial on the Princess Emma had been hesitant to send bigger planes to the island. Unfortunately for now it was just constant airstrikes on enemy combatants.

Yea. It would appear that they got some anti air guns and lights up. Its making it hard on them they have been coming in alot lower than they used to. Unfortunately it would have to stay like that for the time being until they could get some more armor.

Imperial High Command hve responded to the complaints of the high chancellor refusing to back down from September Island. Stating that it was just in action to quell the risk of a invasion from Altis and Straits forces but have agreed to have a ceasefire conducted on the island going along the lines of the UCSO conflict. Imperial soldiers will stand their ground.

Imperial High command has firmly stated that they will be staying in Anavokia as to aid their allies. The Imperials look to gain nothing from the invasion of Anavokia only to strengthen the might of their allies in the same front in the name of the Southwest Bloc.

Imperial high Command does no see what their command over the Liberated Free Nations has to do with their current situation. The nation has been under Imperial Control for the last few years.

The Slaveškan media has been silent about it after the Autarch ordered it be censored on such subjects. A planned draft was being worked on....a folder with a cover had the letters G.D.U. Stamped in gold on the blue folder case cover. Inside were documents speaking of an alliance. The Greater Drejveškan Union was the initial cover letter, more documents followed by a signatures page. So far it had Autarch Ferdinand Tennfjord but invitations had been extended to North Stravel, Karosev, Treko, Danlina, Parentell, Uribill, and Telroi. This was only the starter nations for the invitation...sometime in the future the rest of Drejveska would be asked if they too would like to join.

ANN Breaking News: Arcadian Foreign Policy Solidified, possible deployment of troops to Stravel, new diplomatic passages, and tensions in the south

December 6 2036: With the new years quickly approaching the Congress of Nations and the Chancellors office have announced the beginning of the new Arcadian foreign policy announced to the world earlier this year. This marks a complete restructure of how the Arcadian state conducts diplomatic actions in the world. The Chancellery released this statement:

"The Arcadian government in these past few years has made a few mistake that need to be corrected, and with the changing world around us it is also time for a shift in policy with the new threats and issues in the world today. To stay on the cutting edge in the world our policy must be as flexible as out people."

This begins with the Arcadian government pulling away from Urlistan's domestic politics citing that the foundations of a republic have been build and the regency will be taking the reigns on domestic policy. While the AAF detachment in the country will still be conducting security operations, UFAF security forces will be handed over the responsibility over the next year.

In the Drejveškan region of the world, the Congress of Nations has authorized the use of military forces to combat communist forces in the region and to stabilize the nations affected, and hopes of working with the former ASAF allies in the region to promote regional stability. Troop deployments in the region will be limited and most operations will be to support the local populations in ensuring daily life can continued unhindered by the war. Combat operations are still being discussed, although the Parliamentary Marine Corps is authorized for combat deployments within the occupied territory within the Republic of Stravel as per the nations request.

In the Urlias straight which has been plagued by acts of hostility and aggression by the Empire of Sevevill on civilian shipping. The Arcadian government join the Kamooko Pact in condemning the Empire of Sevevill in these acts, and has deployed a naval strike group to attempt to clear the strait, and has offered to send the Parliamentary Coast Guard, and Navy to protect and escort civilian and KP shipping when in international waters. The Arcadian government recognizes international waters and the rights of movement in these waters.

The Arcadian government has also issued this apology for the Altara Incident just two years ago:

" The Arcadian government would like to sincerely apologize for the unprovoked and unwarranted attack that lead to many civilian injuries and to the injuries and deaths of neutral Kamooko Pact soldiers. Policy towards the September Islands has shifted as well in support of the UCSO-KP coalition to liberate the September Island from occupational forces of the Empire of Sevevill. The Congress of Nations has mandated that the Sevevillian government withdraw from the September Islands in a timely manner agreed apon by all parties. The Arcadian government is also dispatching a carrier strike group in international waters outside of the September Islands within the week.

It has been a long time since the Parenese National Assembly has been called in to discuss the shared future of the nations of Paren. Representatives of the governments of Telroi, Parentell, Danlina, and Uribill were present in the committee, with representatives of the Uribillian throne observing the committee.
"For years, the nations of Paren have been in a state of diplomatic isolation from the region" stated the Danlinian delegate at the committee, "but the invitation that we have all received is a chance to change this situation. The GDU will give us a chance to work together: export goods, establish relations, and so on". The Parentelli delegate responded to the Danlinian delegate: "as much as we respect your urge to create cooperation in diplomatic affairs, I do not believe that we can all fully cooperate on such a level" he said glaring at the delegate of Telroi. The Telroian delegate stood up: "for once I agree with my Parentelli peer- full cooperation between the four nations on the issue of diplomatic affairs is not possible, yet I do want to strengthen my Danlinian peer's point about the trading of goods: we should at least create a system that will benefit us all so we can establish good financial relations in the GDU". After three hours of the committee, the four delegations have drafted a final agreement about the membership of the four nations in the GDU and the delegations moved to vote on whether this agreement is in good terms with everyone. General Arthur Stone watched as the helicopters lifted off one by one, again heading to September Island. They were fewer in number than the last time they made this journey. Stone sighed as he remembered how the last excursion to September Island went and the fallout from it. The long and infuriating phone calls with his superiors and the Defence minister. A review of the entire affair was ongoing, but he had not heard any news in some time.

Then he smiled as he remembered the most interesting part of the SI fiasco, the suicidal bravery of a member of the KP garrison. He thought back to when Reaper showed him some of the footage they had gathered while on the mission; he had watched incredulously as someone picked up an AK and began firing at them. At great risk to themselves and those around them. Later, he learned that intelligence had identified the figure in the video as Major Liso Glace with a probability of 80%. Stone wondered if she was still alive, the Sevevillian invasion had hit SI hard, and the Sevevillian were continuing their streak of brutal warfare. He had read the reports of how the Sevevillian’s were handling POWs, the brandings, the forced labor, and the conscription of POWs to assist in conquering their own island.

It was December 25th, a quiet moment as snow softly fell outside. Chimneys billowed plumes or smoke. All through out Slaveška children were waking up scrambling downstairs to open presents. Parents would hug and sip coffee or hot chocolate and watch the joyous moment.

At the Sovijagrad the Autarch and his wife had just finished getting dressed. Presents would have to wait an hour so Autarch Tennfjord could give his speech. Little Sofija and Mikael, the Autarch’s daughter and son, would be allowed to open one present before the speech.

A news van rolled up to the front gate where a guard verified credentials, his Ushanka had a light dusting of snow stuck to it. Once verified the van pulled up front and began unloading its contents. Two guards opened the doors as the news crews walked inside and began setting up in the foyer.

Autarch Tennfjord adjusted his tie on his suit before he kissed his wife. He was wondering if he should of gone with his service dress or a suit but his wife thought the suit was better for the occasion. Together they walked down the grand staircase into the foyer where the camera crews eagerly awaited. Immediately the two guards who were standing on either side of the room popped to attention. Autarch Tennfjord pumped his hand as if to signal that it was okay and the guards went back to parade rest. Extending his hand the camera crews shook and exchanged Merry Christmas greetings. “Let’s start shall we?” The Autarch said with a smile.

As a long-time friend and ally to the Autocracy of Slaveška, the United Federation of Treko will be accepting and attending the event at The Sovijagrad. It is a terrible thing to see that both the FASC and the South-Western Bloc both claw at the land of Drejveška hoping to find some purchase. Official Response from the Federal Republic of Karosev

To the Slaveškan Nation, on behalf of Karosev, Stevan Rakočevic gladly accepts the Autarch’s invitation to The Sovijagrad. In these trying times we see the benefit of a Greater Drejveškan Union. It only seems like yesterday that opposing forces tried to impose a claim on sovereign lands. We can not let the bloodshed continue for illegitimate claims.

Through the GDU there is no doubt our people will feel safer with the current events unfolding in Stravel. We expect great economic gains and military strengths to bring peace and prosperity to the Drejveškan Region. We look forward to the summit and a continued friendship.

“Do you know where you are?” The Agent asked leaning over the table glaring at me. “No” I said as I looked down. He stood straight “Do you know who you are?” He asked. A look of visible confusion on my face angered him. He slammed his fist on the table and repeated the same question only louder this time. I stammered as the air got tense as the situation slowly dawned on me. “M-my Name is Sofija Kreznik. Why....why am I here? What have I done to be dragged here?!” I spoke with a voice of fear before it turned into anger. The Agent sat down “Good good...Sofija...why don’t we start from the beginning. What can you tell me before the arrest?”

I was physically exhausted and my eye lids were heavy. It must of been at least 2:30 in the morning. I looked at the man who must of been in his early forties. He wore a black polo tucked into beige slacks, on the breast pocket of his polo was the Office of State Intelligence emblem.

“It was....about midnight and I was in my flat. I was working on a commission.” The agent interrupted saying “No earlier. What were you doing this past afternoon?” I paused for a second thinking. What on earth could I had done that was so bad that I was being questioned by OSI? “I had gone to the store nothing out of he ordinary. Picked up small things...milk...candy....some prescription medication.” I paused thinking some more. “I’m sorry but...why am I here? Don’t I have some sort of right to know why I’m here?” The man chuckled and looked at me with an evil grin. “Sofija, you’re a citizen of Slaveška. Of course you’re afforded rights. Fortunately it’s within the power of OSI to suspend those rights. We must get to the bottom of who you are and what you’ve done.”

“I haven’t done anything!” I pleaded “There has to be some sort of mistake!” The man refocused my attention. “We know you have a brother Sofija. Where is he?” I became worried and frantic “He’s...he’s away on a business trip. Is this something he did? I don’t know what sort of business he conducts.” I just wanted to sleep. At this point I was almost willing to tell the man anything just so he would let me sleep. “Sofija, Sooofiiiijaaaa.....don’t fall asleep just yet. In your words tell me what happened when we detained you.”

My mind flooded with the memories...

0143 in the morning

“All units listen up...we have a high value target, national security risk. OSI wants to take them alive. Our job is to cordon off the area and ensure no escape is made”

Three Civil Authority Patrol cars made their way through the city streets lights flashing and sirens wailing. A couple blocks away a Civil Authority Utility Truck has already pulled over and began setting up cordon.

Just moments later the patrol cars arrived. Officers piled out of their cars and immediately began clearing the area. A few lingering drunks and the occasional late night jogger were ushered away just as a black van pulled up. The commotion had started to wake people, the officers started shouting to get away from the windows.

The black van’s doors opened up and armed units wearing balaclavas poured out before stacking up on a door. 6276 R5A they picked the lock and rushed into the foyer out of sight. The building was empty in the lobby, the members quickly cleared the stairwell and made their way to the fifth floor. 6276 R5A “That’s the one” a voice said on comms.

They stacked on the door before kicking it open. A woman screamed as the men poured into the flat. She dropped her laptop as she fell back in her chair. A soldier grabbed her and threw her against her couch before the armed men threw a sack over her head and restrained her. In the hallway a few neighbors opened their doors to see what the commotion was. “GET THE FUCK BACK!” One of the men yelled shoving the barrel of his gun into the elderly mans chest and pushing him back into his own flat.

Having secured the target the armed men quickly exfiltrated to the black windowless unmarked van and sped off into the night.

0158 in the morning

At the cordoned checkpoint an unmarked white moving truck pulled in. An OSI Agent walked up to the driver saying “No trace, gather all belongings, clear distro lists, erase security footage. This person never existed, we were never here...”

Each torpedo would be as long as a family van and wide around as one of its tires, and would carry two or three agents to the Rudon mainland.

It took only a couple hours for the sub’s crew to assemble their transports. In that time, Crowblade had little opportunity to appreciate the view as he and the other eight agents were pressed into their suffocating dive suits and run through one exhaustive safety check after another. It would not do for one of them to suddenly suffer a breathing failure at twenty metres below the surface.

But at length they were ready. The Atlas agents boarded their craft and pushed off without so much as a call of farewell or good luck. They would travel on the surface in silence, then dip into the inky darkness on their final approach. After ditching their torpedoes and changing into less conspicuous attire (which would consist of military hazmat suits), they would be on their own to reach the local safehouse (or really any safe place) and plan how to accomplish their mission from there.

[Codename] Crowblade, Southwestern Rudony:

The safehouse was nothing to write home about, but it had done its job. With so many having fled, it was simple work to acquire this dark basement apartment in an almost empty part of town. And it had taken just a few days, running missions from this secluded hiding hole, for their efforts to bear fruit.

Rays from their singular penlight fractured off the tiny glass vial in Agent Steel’s hand, illuminating the thin film of pink residue that had been the purpose of their mission.

An almost microscopic sample of fungal-infected blood and tissue, enough for the bigger brains back in Sevevill to study and toy with, was a beautiful sight. But there would be no celebratory champagne this time, with discretion dictating they remain as clandestine as possible. And anyway, it would be hard to enjoy anything within their self-contained pressure suits which had to stay on 90% of the time.

“Blackadder,” Agent Steel almost inaudibly signed, “you’re sure you covered our tracks with the donor?”

“The body we took it from was incinerated at the Allanean clinic. There’s no chance of someone tracking us through her.”

“Good.” Steel slid their precious vial into the foam of its travel case, carefully keying in temperature and humidity settings before closing the lid tight. “We’ll get some sleep, then leave around 04:00. Pull down everything we set up as we go, and be down by the coast with darkness to spare.”

But it did not go like that.

Just then, there was a hefty hammering at the door. By the thin streak of light, all nine agents went instinctively for their rifles.

One flicked open a dim phone screen, barely illuminating the steel respirator and sparkling vision windows which gave his face a demonic appearance. “The button cams are all obstructed. I can’t see anything outside.”

Agent Blackadder slipped a magazine into his rifle, lowing the bolt silently as he crept to the door. Steel pressed the plastic case into Crowblade’s hands.

“Take the back entrance,” he hissed, “get to the LZ. We’ll deal with whatever it is and buy you some time.”

Blackadder was now staring intently through the peephole. “It’s . . . a woman. Looks like another haz-mat tec-”

Then the door exploded. Chunks of wood and Blackadder’s body flew through the room. The agents opened fire.

“GO!” Steel demanded, and Crowblade did.

Sources of the Imperial Marine Corps in the Oceanian theatre has today announced the capture of September City, along with the formal surrender of the island’s defence forces. Over around three days of tough fighting in the capital, all SIDF air defence assets had been expended or destroyed, and Imperial aircraft were uncontested above the vulnerable island. Faced with unrelenting airstrikes and a new wave of heliborne marines landing with impunity, the demoralized SIDF leadership finally threw in the towel.

The SIDF’s last semblance of a high command had been holed up in a makeshift parking garage turned command centre, with Imperial marines only a couple of blocks away when the ceasefire was begged for. Within minutes, the headquarters had been seized and its occupants made to sign an end to armed resistance in the country.

However, Sevevill’s victory is not complete. Upon entering both the Kamooko Pact headquarters and houses of government, Imperial troops were annoyed to find them all but empty. All the major civilian officials of the September government and KP were able to flee the island over the last days of fighting, leaving only a few bureaucrats who were incapable of or unwilling to escape.

To compound problems, a great deal of military equipment has gone missing from old KP scrap sites, and much of the country’s infrastructure has been seriously damaged. Bridges have been collapsed, roads have been blocked, airstrips have been torn up, and fuel reserves have been set alight. It will be quite some time before repairs can be made and a substantial armed force can be operated out of September Island.

GRA Today: Tension rise as Sevevillian attacks continue against the September Island

With the news of a 'declared' Sevevillian victory in the September Republic, Chancellor Beaulne issued a statement before heading to a diplomatic meeting overseas. She has stated, "the acts of hostilities in the September Islands are unacceptable, I will ensure that a continued Sevevillian presence in the island nation will be met with heavy discourse." Meanwhile, in the halls of Congress, many members are voting on yet another resolution for military intervention. A bipartisan group of lawmakers has drafted a bill that would authorize full military intervention against the Empire of Sevevill in the September Island if a military withdrawal is not met by the deadline still being worked out by Arcadian lawmakers. Arcadian naval forces in the region have been placed on high alert in preparation to any possible Sevevillian retaliation.

Full Scale Evacuation Of Rudony Begins

Deeming that the situation has spiralled out of control, the Rudon Empress has declared that the military will now begin a full evacuation of Rudony. Containment operations are still ongoing but are more fruitless by the day. With the fungal plague spreading like wildfire and breaching multiple layers of containment. The Rudon government has called out to Markion to take in its refugees and further aid them in their struggles as the Rudon national health service attempts to decontaminate the islands.

The Rudon military has begun to further restrict movement in the isles, increasing patrols and tightening security. Few on the islands can now get out or in without the aid of Rudon's own military. In addition to this, the Rudon military announced that a lead on the terrorists may have been found. Raids all over the country were now being conducted to further find the instigators of this epidemic. Currently, all evidence is pointing Sevevillian involvement in the area and has further incriminated the Empire that wrongly blamed the UCSO for crimes it committed itself.

With the plague continuing to infect victims, roughly 345,000 people have been infected with 17,550 people now dead from its shadow. Refugees now gather at Hewylthelnr Naval Base on Hewyl Island, the only island not yet infected with the plague. A majority of Rudons now live in cramped conditions and are slowly moved out the country as and when they accepted, no country has answered the call yet. Many Rudons are stating that this could very probably be the end for the country and that they have lost everything, including family.
