Repeal SC#263 - "Liberate Confederation of Corrupt Dictators"

The Security Council,

Acknowledging that the main basis for SC#263 is the audacious claim that the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators ("Confederation") is a region that openly embraces, promotes and harbours fascism;

Noting that this has been exploited by multiple institutions such as the Civil Defence Siren, which has taken active measures to slow the Confederation's growth;

Recognising that this has lead to the undue discrimination and persecution of Confederation member states by malicious parties;

Noting that this is due to public perception of the Confederation as fascist, mostly fuelled by the false claims of SC#263;

Refuting such blind rhetoric with the following factual and logical evidence:

• The Confederation has had, for a significant period of time, a democratic body known as the Civil Congress;
• Nations known to blatantly subscribe to hateful ideologies and express bigoted rhetoric, such as Dehlk and Electric America, have been forcefully removed from the region by Confederation authorities;
• Confederation officials in the War Ministry under Russia Major have taken measures to remove fascist regimes where possible, including the coordinated military operation to depose South Reinkalistani fascist dictator Reķlen Maskestoff in favour of a socialist administration;
• Multiple statements have been issued by Confederation leadership condemning all hateful ideologies;

Admitting that the Confederation has self-identified as fascist in the past;

Celebrating the fact that the Confederation now utterly rejects such notions of fascism, displaying that the nations of the Confederation have the development, reasoning and maturity to reform in such a manner;

Rejecting the notion proposed by SC#263 that something as petty as a region's embassies warrants condemnation by this esteemed body;

Appalled by the accusation that the Confederation will serve as a means of indoctrination for nations that join it;

Realising that with the Confederation possessing an executive founder, SC#263 serves little to no purpose other than a warning that is regarded with great jest by the leaders of the Confederation;

Hereby repeals SC#263 - "Liberate Confederation of Corrupt Dictators"

I think we should draft a commendation for every person in this thread that even bothered to read this, and if they critique it, they’re a saint. It’s upsetting that your proposals have reached the point that they barely merit responses. Not many people can get that low.

I still implore you to take a break. And that doesn’t mean leave; it means think about how you act in the SC, and try to stop being a pawn for someone else’s region. You’ll never to anything if you keep doing this.

And keep in mind that I used to attempt to draft crap on this forum too. I was laughed out of the SC, and pissed a lot of people off. What I’m suggesting works.

To be honest, you seem to be offering advice from a generally objective standpoint, so I won't treat you with disrespect anymore; my sincerest apologies. The point is, I'm not becoming a pawn for someone else's region. I'm just trying to play the game, like everyone else. It's just when I'm called a fascist for trying to play the game in a certain way, I tend to do what I can to dismiss that reputation

This proposal is a missive from me asking you all to cease. I'm afraid there's a lot of aggression towards members of the CCD where there need not be - we've stated we aren't fascist, we've condemned OOC fascism, so what do you want? The point is, this perpetuation of unnecessary hatred is unhealthy. What could stop the regions from coming to terms? I mean, there's been some rather dire personal attacks. Especially Blood Wine referring to me and Kafair as "Uncle Toms", which is just derogatory.

Why can't we all just get along? I'm trying to repeal an attempt to stifle the CCD and shame its members. What's wrong with that?

By drafting this, you inadvertently put yourself in the limelight as a “fascist sympathizer”. I don’t know whether you or Jocospor or CCD is fascist, and I don’t really care (because we can’t tell for sure), but what I do know is that NSGP (as a very generalized term) is extremely stubborn, and neither you nor anyone else can change that.
