Your solution to the daily happenings of the ever-changing INWUverse, now coming to you 24/7.
Rules of the International News Thread
1. This is an IC News thread, not a OoC sandbox for discussions. In principle, you must act accordingly, writing as if you are writing from the perspective of a news agency, since it's, well, a 'news' thread.
2. Since this directly concerns the INWUverse, only members of the International Northwestern Union are allowed to post on this thread.
3. Any articles directly contradicting previously agreed on regional lore, or describing events not considered plausible enough to become regional lore, can be preemptively or retroactively discontinued or altered by the Lore Director. Such a decision may be challenged through a non-anonymous majority referendum by map members, lasting a total of two days.
Article Template
Although it is completely fine for you to make smaller, yet constructive changes to the template itself, in principle, try adhering to the template given. It's for unity reasons. Attached below is a template with a sample article using the very template - in a way, an exemplary example.

Rotten and gelatinous, this year's beetroot harvest has proven inedible[/box]
Following devastating rains all through last Winter, the nation's five and a half acres of arable land were flooded for a period of nine days, leading to the loss of an estimated twelve pounds of beetroot.
Government officials have remained silent so far, but the question on everyone's minds remains: who will we import beets from in the aftermath of this event? Some support Moldovan beets, while others support acquiring Ukrainian, or even Russian, produce. But these positions are highly politicized, leading some to believe the festival may be in danger for the first time in seventeen millenia of continuous Transnistrian identity.
Armed revolutionary groups in the unrecognized Moldovo-Romanian Republic of Northern Transnistria have claimed full responsibility for the rains, supposedly caused by bribing meteorologists. The validity of these claims is currently under investigation by the proper authorities.◿
