I mean technically speaking it didn't start in spain in OTL either, Spain was just the only country that allowed their press to report on it, so to everyone else it looked like Spain started it.

Government Info
Government Type: Spain is structured as an authoritarian corporatist republic under a constitutional monarchy. The state ideology is generally referred to as galanismo, named for one of the Padres Fundadores de la Nueva República, Efrain Tamayo Galan. The Legislative System
The legislature of the Royal Republic of Spain is a unicameral institution incorporated with corporatist elements. The legislature, called the Corte Corporativo is made up of 200 members, called diputados, who are the elected representatives of the five corporate groups chosen in quadrennial corporate conventions. The Consejo Corporativo is composed of an inner council of senior diputados referred to as latigadors who are the senior members of each respective corporate group in the Corte. Each corporation only has authority over legislation regarding what each corporation represents, and only after a bill is approved by the corporation is it voted on by the entire chamber. Additionally, regarding elections, candidacy deadlines are September 1, and conventions are held September 15; any diputado that is newly appointed must take office by September 20.The Executive System
The executive of the Royal Republic of Spain is based in the (metonymic) Palacio de Villamejor. It is lead by the Presidente-por-Vida de la Republica, commonly referred to as el Presidente, who is re-elected every six years by the diputados of the Corte Corporativo. The Corte Presidencial is the body of staffers who tend to the President of Spain’s political, operational, and personal duties. Other than the President there are ministros, eight heads of government departments that are appointed by the Monarch with the advice of the President. The ministros oversee the Ministerios de Agricultura y Ganadería, Relaciones Exteriores, Academias y Ciencias, Guerra, Comercio y Trabajo, Derecho, Salud y Bienestar, y Interior. There is also the Ministro de Gabinete which supervises and administers cabinet activities. The ministers serve at the pleasure of the President, but can also be removed by a two-thirds move by the Corte Corporativo. The Judicial System
The court system of Spain is designed in two different ways: territorially and categorically. The courts are territorial organized at the national, regional, and provincial levels. The courts are categorically organized as Cortes de la República, which deal with matters of constitutional or non-criminal law, and as Cortes Civil, which deal with matters of criminal law. The table below summarizes the numerous courts of Spain:
Cortes de la República Cortes Civil Corte Constitucional de la República Grandioso Corte de España Corte Constitucional de [Región] Corte Civil de [Región] Corte Alto de [Provincia] Corte Distrito de [Provincia] The Corporations
The corporations of Spain are not like the business entities, they are socio-political organizations consisting of every person that is applicable to the nature of either group. They stem from the corporatist principles the country adheres to. There are the Popular, Labor, Academic, Clerical, and Military Corporations that represent private citizens, laborers and managers, educators of all levels, clerics, and military personnel. The corporations are divided into convenciones nacional, annual general meetings of each corporation that determines policies and to solve internal issues, plus to elect 40 diputados every four years; there are the convenciónes regional, which meet semiannually for similar purposes and to keep demographics and information of members up to date; the convenciónes local are based around provinces, but usually overlap with others, and number 200, matching the number of diputados, which means they serve - semi-officially - as Spain’s constituencies. The Clerical and Military Corporations are not restricted, which gives Spain the feel of both a clerical and military dictatorship. The Territorial Organization
The nation is governed by the Corte Corporativo, as explained earlier. The next level of the country is the region, of which there are five, and are governed by eight-member Consejos Regional that are appointed by the convenciónes regional quadrennially. Next are the provinces, of which there are eighteen, and possess no centralized governments except the convenciónes local that deal with statistics, enforcement of taxes, and management of the local police. Finally, there are the municipal governments which are governed by councils or managers and councils depending on their semi-autonomous municipal charters, and are the subnational administrative zones that possess their own governments, unlike the provinces. There are hundreds of municipalities in Spain, and they deal with public works, local education, policing, and the local enforcement of public administration and policies.

Relations: Exists in a tense peace with its neighbors due to its militarist and imperialist sentiments. Trade relations exist with most of its allies, although its protectionist and nationalist economy has greatly reduced the need for trade, and Spain subsists primarily on its own produce. Diplomatic relations exist with numerous countries, but interactions with other countries is limited due to Spain’s isolationism. Embassies are understaffed and rarely have their ambassadors in them, and Spain doesn’t possess strong enough relations with any country to have opened a secondary diplomatic office. Spain’s worst relations are with the independent regions of Galicia and Catalonia, and Spanish propaganda is highly vocal about seeking to reconquer the rebellious regions.

- Head of Government: Presidente-por-Vida Efrain Tamayo Galan
Population Info
Brief Description of your People: Spain is composed primarily Castilian Spaniards, with smaller populations (around 25% of the population) consisting of Valencian and Andalusian Spaniards. The population of non-Spaniards (Portuguese, French, Britons, etc.) are less than 5% of the population, and usually consist of expatriates or foreign workers. The general description and attitude of the Spanish people are hardworking, religious, and communal but also highly conservative and militaristic.
Brief Description of your Culture: Spanish culture is pretty much the same as it was pre-Flu, although the only changes have mostly been due to authoritarian and anti-secular policies. The presence of religion in public life is much stronger, with the Catholic Church possessing much greater power due to its inclusion in the corporatist system and government. Creationism, prayer, and bible study are all commonplace in educational institutions, and the support of agnosticism or secularism is highly prohibited and frowned upon. Furthermore, the adoption of violently anti-communist, anti-capitalist, anti-immigration, and anti-liberal opinions by the public due to government influence has lead to a hostily traditional and conservative citizenry. In order to institutionalize these attitudes, the government has created the Nacional Liga de Españoles Leal, a nationwide organization of millions of Spaniards that promotes community involvement and ultraconservative politics, and its affiliated youth wing, the Club Nacional de Jóvenes Leal.
Military Info
Army: The Ejército Real Republicano is the large and powerful Spanish ground army. Mandatory military service for all 18 year old males exist, which means the Spanish army has hundreds of thousands of reserve and active duty members. The permanent standing army consists of around 100,000 soldiers primarily from the WW1 era, with a few new additions from the younger generation trained by those senior members. Much of the pre-Flu military infrastructure and materiel has been reacquired and repurposed by the ERR, and the oligopolistic economy supports a large military-industrial complex. The presence of the military in the corporatist government, and the nationalist and militarist sentiments of its officers, has led to the politicization of militarism and military buildup.
Navy: The Armada Real de España is the small and underappreciated naval force of the Royal Republic. It consists of twenty-three warships repurposed from the Valencian naval shipyards, plus several thousand experienced but older seamen and officers. Due to the primarily expansionist sentiments of the government, the Army is valued over the Navy, meaning the Navy has limited opportunity for expansion and duties. It is primary serves as a coast guard, naval police, and power projecting force.
Other Info
Brief Description of your Economy: Spain’s economy is managed according to a system of state capitalism and corporatism. The Spanish economy is dominated by an oligopoly of seventeen corporate cartels that dominate the industries of arms, retail, food, manufacturing, construction, communications, fishing, timber, chemical, et al. They are supervised by the Labor Corporation, consisting of every laborer and manager and administered by elected employees and employers. Government control comes in the form of government-appointed directors and other senior executives, plus excessive regulations and nationalization.
The economy is strong despite this complicated system, and has a GDP of $17.13 billion and a GDP per capita of $12,000 (ca. 2018). The currency of Spain is the peseta, which has a value of Pta22/$1. The regulation and administration of the economy falls under the control of the Ministerio de Comercio y Trabajo. Due to the self-sufficient economic ideology of the Republic, leading to import levels of under 20%, Spain has very high employment rates in order to have a workforce that keeps up with the needs of 1.5 million Spaniards.
Goals: Reclaim Catalonia (primary) and Galicia (secondary); spread the galanista/Integralist philosophy of the Republic to other countries; continue to grow the power of the State; ensure the survival of the current order after the succession of the current political generation; stimulate technological advancement; suppress any dissidence
History:The beginnings of the Royal Republic have two acceptable points in time: 1880 and 1932. In 1880, in a village outside of Toledo, Efrain Tamayo Galan was born to two farmers (exalted by Galan after seizing power as the Abuelos del Nación) and with a precocious national pride. In 1899, Galan joined the Spanish Army and immediately proved to have a tactical mind and skill with great potential, and by 1915 he was a Comandante in control of an army battalion. During the First World War, Galan desired to have Spain join on the side of the Allied Powers in order to expand its imperial holdings (since he knew from the beginning that the Central Powers were outnumbered), but was restricted by his country’s neutrality, and so he joined the French Foreign Legion and was commissioned as a senior officer of the 3rd Marching Regiment. When he returned to Spain at the end of the War, he returned as a decorated and respected Coronel who became an ally of other prominent general officers at the time plus politicians and royals; the name Coronel Galan was nationally recognized.
Then came the Great Plague of the 20s, which destroyed civilization within the span of a few years. Immediately, Galan became inspired to establish a semblance of order in his decaying country, and established both the phrase and movement called “Guerreros Guardianes” (Guardian Warriors), positioning the military as not just a force of war, but as a key organ of the country that defended its countrymen in all ways. Through this and his actions, Galan gained support of generals, soldiers, and civilians and unilaterally declared himself as the Capitán-General del Nacion Real, and quickly had Madrid and surrounding provinces under his command. He gained the recognition of the monarchy in 1924, when King Alfonso XIII died, leaving behind an underaged and powerless son, but a desperate and nationalist regency. Valencia, Madrid, parts of Castile y Leon, and several other provinces were put under his control by 1930, when the spread of his rule slowed due to logistical and economic issues; it became time to consolidate the new country, and a 1930 constitutional convention was held to re-organize Spain, a convention that was primarily composed of nationalist, royalist, and ultraconservative delegates.
Galan studied for a brief period of time with the Prussians in the early-1900s, and he gained not just Prussian military knowledge but also inspiration from German nationalism and authoritarianism. He further studied and adopted the corporatist, authoritarian, and integralist ideologies over the next decade, and leveraged for their incorporation into the 1930 Constitution. Thus came into existence one of the first truly corporatist nations in the world; he further gained popular legitimacy due to his populist sentiments and support of honest elections, and clerical legitimacy due to the establishment of the Corporativo Clerical in 1931. Since 1930, Galan has been styled as the Presidente-por-Vida, with the constitutionally provisioned presidential elections by the legislature not to be held until his death, and a Padre del Nación along with several other political and military figures who assisted his creation of the Real Republica. Now, several years after its establishment the Royal Republic sits in a pool of tension as its centralized and superpowered State fights to keep a hold onto the ropes that keep the nation together, while being nagged by a small, quasi-organized rebellion, foreign neighbors and succeeded regions, and the urges of the military to continue expanding the Republic’s borders.

An idea we discussed was a country that was essentially based around the Trans-Siberian Railroad, some sort of railway empire, but I dunno if we'll do anything with it.

Oh, regarding Spain. If I recall, the other Spain is Carlist and you're Bourbon, and you both have differing ideologies and government. Also speaking of that, why are you a Royal Republic? A Republic is inherently a country without a monarchy, so its contradictory. Other than that, your app is accepted.
