Lumineon-owned clubs continue their golden age, winning their third straight title. Though this time City of Light was able to put the younger sibling back in their place! There's no doubt the Lumineers were impacted by the first-ever outbound sale seeing their strike partnership off to Ethane. The replacements they brought in, however--a rare Quag targetman and the league's first Hawlucha player--proved to be enough to capture the second spot for the newly-founded FFI Liga dos Vencedores. Blasting Beach have remarkably brought their team together to shoot up into the IFCF spots, much to the chagrin of neighbors Shelldock who miss out entirely on goal difference. Perhaps the most aggrieved are Quaggen's fanbase, furious at yet another season where they don't even have a shot at the title down the stretch. Nevermind that they missed out the fancy new competition because they lost their final match to Sootopolis, of all teams! 3-0! The indignity! Sootopolis themselves, despite that impressive win, find themselves a point adrift of Weeping Willow to be the highest-placed Grove team and gain VCI entrance. It'll be interesting to see what the largest contingent of Grovyles to ever leave the quaglands can do.

This was a stunningly even season, all in all. Four different teams finishing on twenty-five points with only the top spot getting anything out of it. The Daunts' shell is hard to crack, but after the taste of international football--with even a little success--they had, they'll be left hungry this time around. And Mantyke... poor Mantyke Bay. At this point they're always the bridesmaid's maid.

-The 2018/19 season saw recently promoted side Sandheights City Football Club memorably taste Liga Malikiy title glory and beat the preseason odds of being relegated. The Beach Boys were lead to glory by goals from Jean-Marc Mourgine who won the Golden Boat with his 11 goals and also goals from his team mate Jean Wilder who scored 9 goals to come 3rd in Liga Malikiy's top goal scorers. This is the first Liga Malikiy title Sandheights City have won.
-Western United missed the chance to add a 28th Liga Malikiy title to its trophy cabinet, looks they will have to wait for next season for that 28th title.
-Birnin Almalaki last season's Liga Malikiy winners started out well but in November their result became inconsistent with lots of draws and loses. These inconsistencies cost them a 23rd Liga Malikiy title. The Royals will have to avoid inconsistencies if they want to come out as champions next season.
- At the other end of the table two of the first teams in Ziwana and Liga Malikiy veterans who had never being relegated got relegated in an embarrassing and heart wrenching season. Birnin Select had been enduring a 9 year trophy barren spell, having not won a competition since 2010 and this relegation has exposed that a lot of work will have to be done if they are to be promoted back to the Liga Malikiy.
-The poor performance from Ainsworth Barracks this season is very disappointing and surprising to funs of the Liga Malikiy as even though they haven't won a Liga Malikiy since 1949 they have been a dominant force in the Football Association Cup winning it 11 times. It is sad that they have been relegated but at least they have been relegated at the same time as bitter rivals Birnin Select and it looks like the Birnin Derby will continue between the Spartans and the Peoples Team in the Liga Kaifa 1.

SEASON SUMMARY

Lonngeylin Coast - v. - Eastal Lunar

Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, the defending Vilitan Stellar Division Champions (Lonngeylin Coast) faced off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Eastal Lunar).

Starting in Season 57, Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy from a press box at the Tivali Ring Stadium with a suite of action cameras and video reviews to be used in competition to a degree never before seen. The move to the press box for the head referee was in part the chance to use the Tropical Trophy as a test bed for introducing technology to the game, and partially to spare Meteorik the embarassment of not being able to keep pace with the players many years his younger. A pair of assistant referee's were still located pitch side. This method of officiating has continued at the Tropical Trophy as well as having been expanded to the Vilitan Cup and Tropicorp Cup competitions. In lieu of a whistle, a horn sounds over the PA system at the stadium when Meteorik needs to stop play while video screens and communication with the on-field assistants as required provide further details of the infraction and its result.

For just the second time in eighteen seasons, no team from Turoki was at the Tivali Ring Stadium. Instead it was Eastal Lunar making their first Tropical Trophy appearance on over thirty seasons when they lost the Season 29 competition to Arcticala Inlet after their previous Vilitan Cup Title. it had been 30 seasons with no major silverware for the Astronauts but finally they had broken the drought thanks to a lineup with a backbone from the Vilitan National team including rising super stars Nii'arala Milaaso and Limu Katarahkna in addition to three-time World Cup Champion goalkeeper Zelkki Milake.

With the rising stars of the Vilitan league squaring off against its most formidable team, Lonngeylin Coast, winners of three of the previous four Stellar Division titles and making their fifth consecutive appearance in the Tropical Trophy on the strength of rising Shottic goalscorer Dilon Banach and Equestrian Cerulean Blitz. However, Lonngeylin Coast were quiet in the off season and many feared coming into the season that the Lonngeylanders were getting too old too keep pace with younger teams like Eastal Lunar and wouldn't be able to compete for the title again no matter how much skill they had on the ball.

The first telling of this prophecy came ten minutes before the half when Cosumarite Under-21 attacker Samothias Odwyk opened the scoring for Eastal Lunar following a cross delivered from the right hand side by Limu Katarahkna. The goal emphasized much of the talent Odwyk had displayed in helping lift Cosumar to the 45th Di Bradini Cup title over Vilita and Turori.

At half time the Astronauts held a 1-0 lead over the reigning Stellar Division Champions. The two storied Vilitan goalkeepers, Zelkki Milake and Cilamara Issah who were instrumental in the Vilitan renaissance of the late 70's and early 80's stared each other down out of the tunnel and it was a show they held control of in the second half with both exchanging spectactular saves to keep the game close.

As the match wore on, Lonngeylin Coast were taking more shots but not necessarily taking better ones, firing from long range and just hoping to catch Milake off guard. As they continued to press forward, the Audioslavian attacker Olly Masiku put the game away after being fed through on goal thanks to a neat pass from Kentu Umaka'a. Masiku's goal put the Icing on the Cake for Eastal Lunar who held on for the 2-0 victory to claim just their second ever Tropical Trophy.

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy match up. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

**First Season in Stellar Division

THROUGH MID-SEASON:

There wasn't anything terribly clever about the match ups for the opening round of the Stellar Division's 60th campaign - in fact you might have thought the schedulers had gone out of their way to ensure there were no remotely interesting match ups on the docket. The long-awaited addition of Tropicorp Park as a regular venue in the top tier of the Vilitan League would have to wait at least one week as Tropicorp FC's first match in the Stellar Division would be played on the road against Rammsissil. Defending Champions Lonngeylin Coast would get the chance to celebrate at home with Colonial Sile as their opposition but Rivalries and key match ups did not appear to be on the cards. The most anticipated match up on paper was likely in Seraai where Eastal Lunar would host Jungle Strike FC in what many predicted could be a dark horse battle for the championship if Lonngeylin Coast are unable to stay healthy with an aging squad. While Eastar Lunar's title odds were bolstered by their Tropical Trophy triumph against Lonngeylin Coast, it was the original Lonngeylin based champions who would send them back to earth with goals either side of half time to give Jungle Strike FC a 2-0 victory that also propped the Venom at the top of the table along side Colonial Sile who, led by a shutout from Starblaydi international goalkeeper Cosmo Leopoldi, stunned the defending champions 2-0 on their banner raising day.

Things would get worse quickly for Lonngeylin Coast on Matchday 2 when the defending champions dropped to the foot of the table after a 0-2 defeat to the Turoki Tide. Tropicorp FC earned their first ever Stellar Division point holding Inland Peaks to a 0-0 draw in the first ever Stellar Division match at Tropicorp Park while the first Turorian Duel of the season was left unsettled with Cednia Beach and Kionao Locals playing out an exciting 3-3 draw.

Colonial Sile proved that their early season victory over Lonngeylin Coast was no fluke as they battled out a 3-2 road victory at the Cednia Beach Center to climb to the top spot in the table on Matchday 4 just narrowly above their cross town rivals Makosile who had impressed since having been promoted from the Declasse. It would take five matchdays before Lonngeylin Coast would finally record their first victory with Methuselah Tregajorran and Elexhe Nofzaleine providing the scoring for the Fishermen over Tropicorp FC who were still trying to find their footing in the new Division in spite of a goal from Equestria's Reyna Best.

Tropicorp would finally find that footing on Matchday 6 in Tropicoast as Kajsa Kupper scored the goal to give the Techies their first ever Stellar Division victory and they did so against the current Stellar Division leaders Colonial Sile. While the result was certainly unexpected it was no where near as unexpected as the 5-0 drubbing that Kionao Locals put on Turorian rivals the Kionao Locals.

The matchup that everyone had circled at the beginning of the season arrived on Matchday 7 when Lonngeylin Coast squared off against Strike FC at Lonngeylin Park. While many expected it to be a battle at the top of the table there was a slightly different tone to the match after the defending champions slow start to the campaign which saw them mired in 9th place heading into the game against Strike who did come into the match at the top of the table. Things would get even more difficult for the Fisherman as Alain-Napolean Marchand scored the decisive goal on the stroke of half time to extend the Venom's lead at the top of the table. The result would set up an actual Top of the Table clash on Matchday 8 between Jungle Strike FC and Colonial Sile at the Lonngeylin Coliseum and it was another narrow 1-0 victory for Strike who were triumphant thanks to Turori National Team striker Meldi'ita Mungwaii's 73rd minute finish after some nice one-two work between Kai-Kai Mokumdarian and Marica Kuepper. The result meant that for the first time during Season 60 the leaders were more than a game out in front with a surprising Inland Peaks overtaking Colonial Sile for second place, 5 points behind Strike at the seasons one-third mark.

The field had a chance to close the gap on when Strike FC dropped just their second result of the season, a 0-1 defeat at the Turoki Community Complex to the Turoki Tide but Inland Peaks were defeated and Colonial Sile were held 1-1 by Makosile in the Sile Showdown to maintain Strike's advantage at the top.

Jungle Strike FC closed out the first half of the season with a comfortable 3-1 victory over a struggling Mliona-Lpaka side at the Iobabao Legendary Field in Turori with goals from Kai-Kai Mokumdarian, Midnight Strike and Alain-Napolean Marchand to overpower Wisdom Mochan's tally for the Turorians. It would leave them 6 points clear over Marine Coast United atop the table in what appeared a flashback to a table from 50 seasons prior. There were still a number of teams in contention however with the Turoki Tide, Eastal Lunar, Kionao Locals and Colonial Sile all within 10 points of the top.

Rivalry Roundup ::

Turoki Tilt: The Turoki Tilt is contested whenever any of the three teams in Turoki City, Turoki Island competes. Turoki United were relegated from the Stellar Division following season 58 so no Turoki Tilt was contested. There was, perhaps, the budding of a new rivalry between the Turoki Tide and Tropicorp FC however when the Techies, in their debut Stellar Division campaign, came into the Turoki Community Complex and defeated the eight-time Stellar Division Champions by a 2-0 scoreline for just their second ever Stellar Division victory.

Sile Showdown: The Sile Showdown resumed for the first time since Season 55 after Makosile United's promotion after a second place finish in the Declasse Division.

When the second half kicked off it looked like a flashback to 10 cycles prior with Jungle Strike FC threatening to run away with the title. Defending Vilitan Cup and Tropical Trophy champions Eastal Lunar, who have never won the Stellar Division, were not ready to give up the fight however and became the first team to go into the Lonngeylin Coliseum and steal all three points from the leaders this season with a second half fight back on the strength of goals from Nindethana Nindethana and Limu Katarakhna. Strike would quickly re-build their 6 point advantage at the top however when a rare Top-Half Classico matchup between Marine Coast United and the Yeaddin Owls saw the Owls defeat the Mariners 1-0 at the Lirai Asku Castle to prevent the Crosaibi slide moving to second in the table and instead pulled Yeaddin just one point back of Marine for 3rd place.

If there was going to be a challenge at the top, however, it seemd that Eastal Lunar just might be the team best positioned to provide it. While they had dug a deficit in the first half of the season, they came out strong in the second half after defeating Strike on Matchday 14 the Astronauts put in a Stellar performance dismantling Makosile 4-1 at the Track Venture Field in Sile with goals from Nii'arala Milaaso, Limu Karatakhna, Olly Masiku and Samothias Odwyk all inside the first 20 minutes of the game. Banijan midfielder Okonkwo Okparro spoiled Zelkki Milake's clean sheet with a 79th minute penalty kick consolation goal but the result put Eastal Lunar atop a three-way tie for second place eight points behind leaders Strike FC.

Strike would pull away however on Matchday 15 thanks to Apple Cobblers goal against Inland Peaks while championship rivals Marine Coast United were held by Lonngeylin Coast and the Eastal Lunar train was unceremoniously derailed by the Turoki Tide at Lunar Park in a 1-2 defeat. The star of the day however was Kajsa Kupper, the young Schottia player for Tropicorp FC who lifted the Stellar Division debutants out of the relegation zone with a hattrick performance in Tropicorp's 4-1 victory over the Kionao Locals.

By Matchday 18 Strike FC had opened up to a 10 point advantage over the Turoki Tide thanks to a win over the Yeaddin Owls which all but eliminated the Stellar Division's inaugral champions from contention this season. Perhaps more interesting, however, was the bottom of the table where Mliona-Lpaka had struggled to collect points and sat firmly at the foot of one of the most competitive Stellar Division tables in recent history where they were temporarily joined by another Turorian club, Cednia Beach AFC. The significance of having two Champions League bound Turorian clubs in the relegation zone was quickly attached to by the local media particularly as Cednia Beach AFC were one of just two teams, along with current leaders Jungle Strike FC, who had never been relegatied from the Stellar Division since its inception and have played every single season in the Top Flight of the Vilitan League.

While the idea of Lonngeylin Coast repeating as Stellar Division Champions seemed to have long gone out the window, they still had a big role to play in the title run down as many saw their rivalry clash at the Lonngeylin Coliseum on Matchday 19 as the last opportunity for anyone to break the train of momentum that Strike had built up and let the field back within range of the leaders. Cheers were heard throughout the league as Dilon Banach blasted an effort just under the crossbar to give Lonngeylin Coast the lead just six minutes in but the home side would respond before halftime through Marica Kuepper and the scoreline was tied 1-1 at the break. It would be a hard-fought game that would see former Turorian National Team defender Geafi Laina-Sola leave the game injured but ultimately Lonngeylin Coast would prevail with a clever 83rd minute volley to win the match and, at least temporarily, delay their rivals championship-bound train.

Cednia Beach had a change to pull out of the relegation zone on Matchday 21 but were held to a 2-2 draw with Tropicorp FC in a frantic first half scramble for survival between two teams level on 20 points straddling either side of the relegation line. The list of teams mathematically in contention for the title was also dwindling quickly as Colonial Sile lost 2-0 to leaders Strike, dropping to 5th in the table and 15 points back with 5 games to play. Realistically, only second place Turoki Tide at 7 points back still had any expectations of catching the leaders with the two sides set to clash in a decisive championship battle on Matchday 22.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 22:

Any hope of a battle at the top of the table came to a crashing hault at the Lonngeylin Coliseum where Jungle Strike FC eeked out another narrow victory over a championship rival with a 1-0 victory over the Turoki Tide that stretched their lead atop the table to 10 points. With the result, Strike would secure their record 23rd Stellar Division title with a single victory for themselves or dropped point by the Turoki Tide over the final four matchdays.

The real battle would be for the third position which was projected to be the final slot in the new IFCF Champions League. Eastal Lunar took hold of the position with a pair of goals from Audioslavian attacker Olly Masiku at the Lirai Asku Castle but after their slow start to the season, Lonngeylin Coast were back in contention just one point behind the Astronauts.

Things were also heating up at the bottom of the table after looking lost and forlorn throughout the season Mliona-Lpaka picked up a huge 1-0 victory over rivals Cednia Beach AFC to pull within two points of safety despite leading the league in defeats and goals conceded.

Jungle Strike FC secured the title on Matchday 23 with a 1-0 victory over Cednia Beach AFC that also left their last remaining rivals from Season 1 teetering on the brink of the Declasse Division. It was a remarkable turnaround for Strike who had just come off their worst ever Stellar Division Finish and watched their cross town rivals winning three of the last four seasons. There was still hope for Cednia Beach AFC, however, as they would face two of their relegation rivals over the last three matchdays with Rammsissil wrything after a 0-4 crushing by Ross Renshaw, Newlyn Glaze and a Colonial Sile team still fighting for the final place in the Champions League.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 24:

While the top of the table was mostly unchanged the bottom of the table was thrown on its head thanks to a pair of rare victories by the Turorian sides that had occupied the relegation places since the seasons halfway mark. Makosile United dropped firmly to the bottom of the table after a Biliki Rona'atu'i goal gave Cednia Beach AFC three points and propelled them up to 9th place in one of the closest relegation battles in Stellar Division history. Mliona-Lpaka also got three points with thier 3-1 victory over Tropicorp FC while Rammsissil suffered their second consecutive 0-4 defeat to drop within 1 point of the relegation zone. Four teams were now tied on 23 points just one clear of the drop and two of them would be squaring off on Matchday 25.

Neither Cednia Beach AFC nor Rammsissil were willing to give an inch with the duo sharing a point each to separate themselves from Tropicorp FC and the Kionao Locals who each lost to Lonngeylin based clubs by 3-0 scorelines on Matchday 25. Lonngeylin Coasts's victory over the Kionao Locals was particularly impactful due to Eastal Lunar being held to a 1-1 draw with relegation threatened Mliona-Lpaka forcing the Astronauts out of the Top 3 and opening the door for the Fishermen to return to the Champions League.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 25:

As fate would have it, there would be a key matchup on the final matchday as Lonngeylin Coast, now in control of the final Champions League qualification place, would travel to Lunar Park to take on Eastal Lunar who could steal the third position with a victory over the defending Champions.

There was also a battle at the other end of the table with Makosile United hosting Tropicorp FC needing a victory to climb out of the relegation zone and plop the Calanian side there in its place.

The crowd at the Track Venture Field would ultimately go home disappointed as Makosile United were not able to pull it off, Jack Nlievian and Adria Dicarva scoring for Tropicorp FC to secure a second season in the Top Flight for Tropicorp FC while sending the Makos back to the Declasse where they would be joined by Mliona-Lpaka AFC who lost out on goal differential to Turorian rivals Kionao Locals to drop out of the top flight for the first time since Season 27.

At the other end of the table, Jungle Strike FC secured the second highest points haul in fifteen seasons with another victory to close out the campaign but all the attention was on the other team in town with a Champions League place on the line at Lunar Park. Cerulean Blitz scored for the Fishermen in the 12th minute and the goal would prove to be the difference as the veteran Lonngeylin Coast side ultimately had the last laugh over the same Eastal Lunar team that had defeated them in the Tropical Trophy and the start of the season, securing the third place and a return to the Champions League despite the slow start to their season. The Turoki Tide quietly finished second as no threat to the Champions and having no threat from behind in a campaign that would have accumulated enough points to be champion during the previous seasons of Lonngeylin Coast triumphs. The big story however was out of Turori where Cednia Beach AFC survived the drop despite a 2-1 defeat to Inland Peaks to keep pace with Jungle Strike FC as the only teams to contest every season of the Vilitan Stellar Division.

With five games to play in the Declasse Season it was setting up to be the tighest finish in the history of the competition with four teams separated by just 1 point; Arctical Inlet and Jaguar Moreda in the promotion positions on 36 points with Cedniavella and Tivali City just one point back. A pair of Turorian clubs were also within striking distance with the Inura Forests and FC Almintora sitting within 5 points of the top spot.

The field of likely candidates was reduced however on Matchday 22 when both fringe Turorian challengers were defeated - leaders Arcticala Inlet taking a 1-0 victory over FC Almintora while Inura Forests suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat at the hands of Surf Jettica.

Having already been effectively eliminated, Inura Forests took one for the team dropping all three points to fellow Turorian club Cedniavella catapulting them into the top 2 after a surprise defeat for Jaguar Moreda at the hands of Lonngeylin City. Arkady Krakowski's goal for Arcticala Inlet gave them a 1-0 win over the Terrarokka Spirit and a three point lead atop the table with three games to play.

Time was running out for Surf Jettica but they were certainly the team with all the momentum forcing themsleves back into the conversation with three consecutive 3-0 victories including a stunning Matchday 24 result at the Arcticala Electrical Stadium over the Declasse leaders. While Jettica still found themselves 5 points out with just six points left on the table it still tightened things up enough that six teams entered the final two matchdays with a mathematical opportunity to earn promotion at seasons end.

It also meant that for a rare moment the eyes of the entire region would be on the Declasse as the penultimate matchday featured a top of the table clash with Vilita against Turori, Arcticala Inlet against Cedniavella - if either team could secure a victory on the day they would clinch a spot in the Stellar Division while the loser faced the possibility of falling outside the promotion places all together heading into the final matchday. In the end, the pressure was too nervewracking for the teams and the match itself was a let down, a goalless draw that settled nothing and left both teams in a precarious situation on the final matchday thanks to Surf Jettica's incredible fourth-straight 3-0 result taking down 3rd placed Tivali City and preventing the Councilmembers from moving atop the table.

The Final Day

Cedniavella and Arcticala Inlet entered the final matchday level on 43 points and occupying the two Promotion Places to the Stellar Division. Just 2 points behind was Tivali City who would host Cedniavella in a match that would see just one of the two teams secure promotion. A victory for either team would be enough while Cedniavella would be promoted in the event of a draw. Two other teams were waiting in the wings, however, three points back of the leaders were Surf Jettica and Jaguar Moreda - ready to pounce should Arctical Inlet be defeated by 12th place Kiiarana City who were fighting to avoid relegation.

Tivali City got the goal they were looking for in the first half to go up 1-0 as they saught a return to the top flight. Hearts were broken at the Council Stadium in the 70th minute however when the Vella's tied it up then just like that had taken a 2-1 lead that would secure not only promotion but the Declasse Title for the Turorian side. Tivali City pressed forward needing two goals in the final five minutes to move back ahead of Cedniavella in the table. The crowd erupted in the 89th minute when local attacker Darrin Rangi headed in a clever flick to tie the game at 2 goals a piece but it was not enough as the draw left Tivali City still two points back of Cedniavella and staring at another season in the Declasse Division. Despite the disappointment for the home side, the screens were still tuned to the ongoing results as Cedniavella waited to see if they would be promoted as Champions or Runners-Up.

It was all looking golden for the challengers as Arcticala Inlet trailed Kiiarana City 1-0 at the Arcticala Electrical Stadium and were playing with 10 men after a 33rd minute red card. Both Surf Jettica and Jaguar Moreda were leading and it was going to be decided on goals differential. While Jettica was unable to match their 3-0 pace of the previous four games it neded up being a moot point as Arcticala Inlet found a late equalizer to get the point they needed to separate themselves from the challengers and ensure they would rejoin the Stellar Division along with Cedniavella with both teams completing the bounce just one season after being dropped from the top flight.

Vilitan Cup Final:

A Turoki Tide side led by veteran Vilitan Midfielder Polaox Torerun traveled to Alikki-Corra to take on rivals Jungle Strike FC who brought a youthful lineup including Kai-Kai Mokumdarian, Midnight Strike and Marica Kuepper. Between the sticks it was the veteran battle between ageless Quebecois Ondrej Cech and the Farfalizard Lafayette Tifoxe.

The aptly named Midnight Strike Struck twice for Strike in the opening thirty minutes to give the newly crowned Vilitan Stellar Division Champions the leg up. The first goal came less than 10 minutes in after Ondrej Cech made an excellent save on a shot from Medli'ita Mungwaii. Alain-Napoleon Marchand delivered the resulting corner kick however and found the head of the Equestrian Midnight Strike who gave Strike the 1-0 lead.

Strike doubled their lead through Strike on the half hour mark on a quick exchange that saw Apple Cobbler throw the ball in to Raimondi Montanari who quickly crossed toward the near post where Strike flicked the ball just beyond the reach of Cech to put Strike up 2-0.

The Turoki Tide would fight back however pulling a goal back just before the break after a curling long shot from just outside the area gave Tifoxe absolutely no chance. The Tide pressured for an equalized in the second half but eventually pressed too far as Apple Cobbler was able to pick up Meldi'ita Mungwaii in open space to set the Turorian through on Cech, finishing off the match just moments before stoppage time was announced. It would be Strike's record 18th Vilitan Cup title as they took down a Turoki Tide squad that had scored at a more prolific rate throughout the Vilitan Cup since Arcticala Inlet during Season 16.

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

Stadium History :: The Almintora National Stadium served as the home of the Football Association of Turori and the Turori National team from their entrance onto the international competition scene prior to World Cup 15 until the Football Association relocated their headquarters to the purpose built Eels Park community in Eelandii, Turori.

The Almintora National Stadium was originally constructed as a 45,000 seat stadium for use by the National Team during World Cup 15 and World Cup 16 qualification. However, when it became evident that Turori's nearby neighbors, the Tropics of Vilita, were being considered as the potential hosts of World Cup 17, the Football Association of Turori strategically aligned itself with their former colonial lands in order to ensure that of the 8 stadia selected for the World Cup Finals, one would be from Turori. Naturally, the Almintora National Stadium was the stadium of choice and would serve as the first time the Island Emirate of Turori would open its doors to a major international event. With a lot on the line, the Turorian government partnered with the Football Association of Turori to increase the capacity of the Almintora National Stadium from 45,000 to 79,000 in time for the World Cup 17 finals.

The move was proven even more fruitful when the Turori Eels themselves qualified for the World Cup 17 finals, the first finals appearance for Turori, and were able to play each of their group stage matches at their home stadium.

With the success of hosting one group of the World Cup 17 finals at the Almintora National Stadium, Turori had put itself on the map. Soon after it would be announced that the Island Emirate of Turori would host World Cup 19 in a joint bid with The Belmore Family. Naturally, the crown jewel of Turorian stadiums, the Almintora National would ultimately host the World Cup Final - the single most prestigious match in the multiverse. Almintora National Stadium is world renowned for the atmosphere that can be created by the fans due to the architectural design and partial-hang roof which doubles as shade for fans on a bright summer day as well as an acoustic surface to reflect, retain and enhance fan-made atmosphere inside the arena.

Despite having been supplanted as Turori's international stadium of choice for logistical reasons by the centrally located Eel's Park facility in Eelandii, the Almintora National Stadium has accrued one honor that no other stadium in Turori - or in Vilita, can lay claim. Almintora National Stadium is the only stadium in Vilita & Turori to have been selected as a host site for the UICA Globe Cup, having been home to the 55th Globe Cup final.

Home of the Vilitan Stellar Division champions, Jungle Strike FC, Lonngeylin Coliseum is the biggest sporting arena in the Vilitan Cove and was chosen exactly for this purpose. Not so much 'butts in seats' - because almost one-third of the estimated attendees would be standing on the Vilitan hillside, but the capacity to hold large volumes was just one of the perks to holding the match in Lonngeylin.

One of the oldest yet most expansive stadiums in Vilita, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which included being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals. Most notably, the seated sections of the Coliseum went through a complete overhaul between League Seasons 25-35 where sections were closed incrementally for upgrades. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation which enhances one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region.

Most famously, however, the Lonngeylin Coliseum was the venue for the World Cup 59 final that pitted The Babbage Islands against Aguazul. It was an epic championship final with the two sides fighting to a goalless draw after extra time before Aguazul triumphed in the shootout for their historic third consecutive World Cup title. The facilities at the Lonngeylin Coliseum had been upgraded over the year to handle the over-capacity crowd and extended match timeline. The venue was also selected for the Vilitan half of the "Battle of Turori" - when Vilita & Turori were drawn against each other during World Cup 64 Qualifying.

Typically, only the Jungle Strike FC or Vilita National Team 'home' fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand. The hosting of a neutral tournament event at the arena will allow visiting fans to experience 'home' accommodations for the first time.

The Lonngeylin Coliseum is a former UICA and Cygnus Cup host site,including the successful hosting of the 47th UICA Champions Cup Final.

For the time being it must suffice to say that in season 4, Syneca won the Superleague, followed by Chalesm, Traal and Algolia in that order. Viltvodle United won the Confederacy Cup, while Viltvodle City won League 1 followed by Brasta and HDC.

The sport of association football is one of the biggest sports in the nation of Eileanan Sgothach. The nation, a union of hundreds of islands collectively referred to as the ‘Isles’, sees its premier football competition in the Priomhaite. Having existed for over a hundred years, each team has a long history, and the league is quite well-established domestically. There is a 4-tier, 48-team professional League system as well as semi-professional Northern and Southern Leagues below them. Clubs in the top 4 tiers compete in the League Cup, while all clubs compete in the Isles Football Union Cup, or IFU Cup.

As part of the Directory’s efforts to gradually bring the Isles closer to the outside world, the government has approved, for the first time ever, clubs from the Isles to compete in international competitions, such as the IFCF tournaments. The government has thus given the Isles Football Union large subsidies to ensure clubs are able to participate in these competitions. This will be particularly helpful for second-division clubs.

In the professional tiers, each league has 12 clubs. The tiers are the Priomhaite, the Farpais, the 3mh Liog and the 4mh Liog. At the end of the season, the last-placed team is relegated while the second-last placed team plays-off against the second-placed team from the next tier. The semi-professional tiers have 8 clubs each, and the winners of each league play off against each other, with the winner playing the lowest-ranked club in the 4mh Liog for a spot in the league.

Each team plays the others in its league 4 times. This will be the final season, however, that the Priomhaite is contested under this format, however. Due to the fact that clubs will be competing in IFCF competitions starting soon, the IFU has approved changes for next season: each club will play the others 3 times, for 33 matches, before the league is split into 2 groups of 6, the Championship group and the Relegation group. Each team will then play each other once more for a total of 38 matches.

In the Priomhaite, Calk overcame adversity in the earlier part of the season to fend off title challenges from Alnwick Prison and Crois Uaine, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Calk’s great offensive production all season was key in their title win, as forward Okerfaire Coke led the league in scoring with 27 goals. The most potent offence in the division, however, were 4th place Constabulary, but an inability to beat teams around them at the top, such as Calk, rivals Alnwick and Crois Uaine caused them to find themselves in 4th. Tipperary come in at 5th, a strong finish for the Wanderers, while Wintervale overachieve a bit to come in at 6th place. It was a poor season for Letterkenny Thursdays, who were hoping to be competing for one of the top 4 places, and will be hoping to rebound next season. Cridhe, Bell Bridge, and Castle rounded out the top ten. Letterkenny Academical find themselves relegated, while Invernen Maritime will head to the relegation play-off.

Loughderry were the preseason favourites to win the Farpais after their surprise relegation from the Priomhaite last season, and the club will return to the Priomhaite next season to replace Letterkenny Academical. It was a tough fight, however, and Dingwall United and Exmouth proved tough competition for them all season. Dingwall United will take part in the play-off against Invernen Maritime. All three clubs also qualify for the IFCF Liga B Champions’ Trophy. At the bottom, Axford Rovers go down while Salrock Head Athletic will contest a play-off.

Loch Fyle were the biggest club in terms of status in this division, but it has taken them quite a long time to escape from the 3mh Liog. Finally, this season, they do with a championship win, and move back up to the Farpais. Dingwall Town proved tough competitors, however, and they will enter the play-off. At the bottom, Eskragga Village are going down while Dunrick head to a play-off to determine if they will survive.

And it’s the Monavan Druids who are champions of the 4mh Liog! So, the club will head up to the 3mh Liog for the first time in their history. It’s a great day for the Druids, and now the focus turns to survival next season. Drogway Citadel will also get their chance to go up in a play-off battle against Dunrick. Down at the bottom, hapless Arneleen will be fighting for their lives in a play-off against the winner of the Northern-Southern Leagues playoff. Arneleen managed only 1 win all season, a horrendous record, and will need 1 more to try for better next season. Relegation from the 4mh Liog would mean a drastic cut in funding from the IFU, so it truly is a fight for their lives.

Siudaig are the Southern League’s champions! It was a hard-fought battle all season with local rivals the Margaree Rovers, but in the end, Siudaig won an exciting derby match on the penultimate matchday 4-2 to secure their championship.

The League Cup is contested between the 48 teams in the top 4 tiers of Isles football. It is usually played in the early part of the season, with the Final being played on New Year’s Day at Tidebank. This year, the IFU announced that the winner of the League Cup would serve as the Isles’ qualifier for the Vilitan Cove Invitational tournament.

A great match at Tidebank to ring in the New Year, and Letterkenny Thursdays take home the League Cup! Micah Edwards-Scott showed why many Thursday fans consider him the best centre back in the country with a brilliant performance in shutting down Calk’s Okerfaire Coke, and a goal from Percy Lloyd was the eventual winner for Thursdays. So, the Greyhounds take the first silverware of the year, and are the first club confirmed for international competition next season.

IFU Cup

The most prestigious of the two cups available to clubs in the season, the IFU Cup is contested by all 64 clubs that hold either semi-professional or professional status in the country. This year, the IFU announced that the winner would qualify for both the Cup Winner’s Cup as well as a new tournament, the FFI Copa das Confederações. Should the winner have already qualified for the FFI LdV, the qualification will pass to the losing finalist and then the 3rd place team in the Priomhaite. In addition, to qualify for the FFI CdC, the winner must be currently in the Priomhaite. Let’s take a look at this season’s results!

Final - Tidebank

Crois Uaine 1–0 Loughderry

Loughderry, eager to prove themselves as Farpais champions against Crois Uaine, put in a very strong performance and actually had control of the match for much of the first half. Crois Uaine’s quality, however, eventually allowed them to take over the match and Lennon Hammond’s goal in the 70th minute was the dagger that killed of Loughderry’s hopes. So, for the first time in 15 years, Crois Uaine have won the IFU Cup!

With another season of football on the Isles in the books, we now look towards a new future. For the first time, our clubs will participate in international competition. The IFU has also agreed a deal with Rèidio-Nàiseanta (National Radio) for full coverage of the Priomhaite and associated competitions in future seasons. HÄRLIGHET LIGAN SEASON - 1017 SEASON

As some may have noticed, my NS obligations have taken a little bit of a back seat over the last few months due to developments in my personal and professional life. For those who have players in Cosumar, the status of the current season's writing is that I've finished a majority of the work on previews, but was obviously unable to complete them (or the rest of the season) before tonight's cutoff.

Here is what I intend to do:

Post the final scorinated results now. Within the forthcoming week, complete and post the roster/preview write-ups and, in the next week or two beyond that, post the season RP(s), potentially one that is more abbreviated than usual but still sufficient depth.

After all males seemed to disappear from 95X and were prohibited except in a formerly-abandoned city, the females were no longer subject to scrutiny from men. Due to reasons yet to be roleplayed the population maintained itself and children, all-female, continued to be born. The World Census, unable to gain access, had continued inability to publish correct numbers. 95X President and her wife Kaimana and Xerica Eightysecond were walking closely together and holding hands down the peaceful and clean streets of Pacific City when they passed by the empty and quiet Equestrian Grounds. That's when Kaimana realized what was missing: organized sports! Almost all in-character 95X sports administrators were, gasp, men!

She quickly made her way to her Presidential Office and made the calls. Cities that once had a professional association football team of some kind had stadiums and grounds that were ready to go. Black Hawks NFX and Transit Authority, teams with outside involvement who were unsure who to call, were also in.

The style of play was very different. The all-female teams were competitive yet displayed compassion to each other on and off the field. Every so often, someone just so happened to score a goal. The crowds in the stands were mostly silent, save for applause and cheers every so often. The teams embraced each other after every game, and were often seen enjoying tea or salad together afterwards. We'll see how they fare against the best in the multiverse.

CF Bondstad hosted De Commons in the game which everyone began salivating over upon the announcement of the fixture list, and it started off like it was going to be a cracker: De Commons in fine form forcing save-after-save from Greetje Peri in the Citizen's goal throughout the first twenty-five minutes. It was against the run of play, then, that Bondstad took the lead on the half-hour mark with youngster Stela Killam converting after a decisive counter-attack. The hosts then took control of the gain for the remainder of the first half, and will have been disappointed not to add to their lead - De Common's Oodel Duoztiun showing he still possess the quality which lit up his debut season. The second-half, however, began flat and didn't really improve. In hindsight, Mejli Humel picking up a yellow card for a tackle within seconds of the whistle set the tone for a show-down where neither side allowed the other to play their game. Apart from Wera Pauwelz fluffing a sitter which could have levelled the scores in the dying moments - Bondstad's Peri being caught in no-man's-land after misjudging a cross - there was little for neutrals to cheer. Nonetheless, the two play-off finalists facing off in the first game of the season potentially provides a fascinating insight into how the LegaSaari may play out.

In the other half of the Stadionnational double-header, Bondstad Treason picked up two bonus points in a 5-2 drubbing Pingstrand - though had to overturn a two-goal deficit within the first twenty minutes to do so: Vemi Vergusen hitting two past Izi Regens before the hosts managed to shake off their off-season rust. When the come-back came it was brutal - three goals in five minutes, including two by nineteen year old Sjors Koken to put the side ahead going into half-time. Not wanting to miss the chance to hit more past the poorly organised and thoroughly disorientated Pingstand defence, Bondstad kept the pressure up in the second-half and were rewarded: Koken may have picked up his hat-trick but it was Zej Saari's effort from thirty-five yards out which was the pick of the goals. In the end, Pingstrand were almost grateful that they managed to keep the deficit to three goals.

Koken wasn't the only hat-trick-hero of opening weekend, with Ghini Bondstad achieving the feat in Tocigtuon Taun's victory over Wilaamstad. Though it may be hard to believe given the scoreline, both sides had a lot of off-season rust which led to a slow start. Those who flipped the channel over missed a treat of a game: free-flowing, attacking and full of goals. Yes, it took awhile for the first blood to be spilled but Luc Bisop's free-kick was worth the wait: a rocket which landed itself in the Tocigtuon goal before anyone could react. Tsaalie Pajn quickly equalised and the stage was set. Dani Vultuon and Secwia Hout gave the Warriors a two-goal lead, but given the tenacity of the Tocigtuon attack not even their most partisan supporter could claim to be surprised when the lead began to be eroded. Ghini Bondstad started that process with a lovely chip over Csaen Ziumun, before tapping in her second on the rebound after Dora Tolar's header hit the post. Two minutes later came the winner, Bondstad again - this time with her head. With fifteen minutes left in the game, both sides could consider themselves unlucky not to add to their totals. In the end though, Tocigtuon took the four points while Wilaamstad had to content themself with a bonus point.

The Bondstad derby saw a record crowd at a LegaSaari game, but Treason fans were probably left wishing they didn't bother. The team arguably started off the stronger of the two teams, though were unable to translate their possession into anything meaningful. That they wasted this early dominance provides a fascinating what-if in a game which could easily be chalked down as a dominant victory from start to finish. That being said, discounting the first fifteen minutes, there are few other ways to describe the game. Young Treason defender Kameron Bondstad practically gifted The Citizens the lead with a playthrough to Tamaara Arbeider which even the most talented playmaker would be proud of. Now CF Bondstad had the lead, they were to capitalise on their rivals dejection and added another through Tansi Kindvanjodi in quick succession. A Zej Saari penalty gave Treason some hope going into half-time but it quickly became obvious which side was more up for the second half - Stela Killam quickly made it three-one and all resistance crumbled. In the end, it finished 5-1 and nobody could object to the description of the capital as white-and-purple.

De Commons fans will be concerned after their second shakey game of the season. Though they were victors at Stadion van De Commons, they were far from convincing and that it took a late Jaxon Pieuz head to break the deadlock will worry fans. Elsewhere, Pingstrand blew their second 2-0 lead in as many games en-route to a loss against Tocigtuon Taun. Tocigtuon were the better team throughout the game, with Pingstrand's goal coming even as a shock to their own team - Vemi Vergusen's shot ricocheted through the box, taking on many deflections before landing in the next before poor-marking by Tocigtuon saw Rita Daele unmarked from a corner for Pingstrand's second. Tocigtuon were the better side before the Pingstrand goals, so few could be shocked when they fought their way back into the game: Jennigje Houte, Caeli Tzaceu and Wylfod Klein all finding their way onto the scoreboard.

Bondstad Treason came out fighting after their humiliation in last week's Bondstad Derby and will be disappointed to have not come out with more. On the other side of the coin, De Commons are counting their lucky stars after another poor performance which is leaving serious question marks about their ability to retain their trophy. The mood music was set up early after Briutni Kindvanstefan converted a fifth minute penalty which even De Commons fans admitted looked soft. Treason responded well, and it is to the credit of Oodel Duoztiun (at one point aided by a goal-line clearance by Diemer Haum) that De Commons were able to hold onto their early lead for so long. Neutrals will be devastated that a tremendous solo run by Lonau Puotnaam didn't end in a goal, but the resulting corner being headed in by Bruux Ziebruux provided some karmic rebalance. Going into half-time, Wera Pauwelz scored her first goal for The Peoples' Team. Perhaps she would have preferred it to be prettier than hacking it in from a scramble at six yards but the smile on her face makes that a hard hypothesis to to defend. Treason continued to be the better side in the second half, and it was again left to heroics from Duoztiun to keep his side ahead - including a magical double save from Judi Buren. Buren did eventually get on the scoreboard though, scoring a low diving header but picking up a cut on the cheek from a wayward boot in the process. Treason looked prime to go on to win the game, but another soft penalty call again granted De Commons the lead. Briutni Kindvanstefan's initial effort was saved, but she pounced on the rebound to add her second. Again Treason attacked, and again Duoztiun prevented them. To their credit, it wasn't until the final whistle that stopped working and allowed their heads to drop.

The rest of the weekend's matches all saw 2-0 victories - CF Bondstad continuing their quest to banish last year's playoff defeat with another competent performance to make it three wins out of three. Tansi Kindvanjodi scored the pick of the goals with a half-volley from thirty five yards which caught Lex Horn off their line and deafen anyone within a ten kilometre radius of the away fans. Elsewhere, Tucanviul Tijgers got their first win of the season thanks to goals from Lach Houten and Luci Berenhaad either side of half-time.

A quick look at the scores might lead one to believe that it was a good weekend for goalkeepers, but instead it can better be described as a week of striker calamity. Miss after miss led to a highlight wheel which is best viewed with the theme tune of Curb Your Enthusiasm playing in the background. Arguably the biggest blunder came just three minutes in to Pingstrand's loss against the Tucanviul Tijgers - Daryn Asselman had rounded Tijger keeper Cseralen Zwarte and tapped the ball into the trajectory of the far corner, only for Vemi Vergusen to intercept her own team-mates goalbound shot and blast it over the bar. Things didn't look set to improve for Pingstand after Dolv Bun was given a red card just twenty minutes in for a late, studs-up tackle on Lach Houten. In some ways, it might seem a miracle that the worst team in the league were then able to salvage a loss of just 1-0, but remember: this is the week of the misfiring forward. It didn't matter who tried, Tucanviul just couldn't get their shots on target: Lach Houten hit the crossbar after a receiving a cross from Walt Beunaad which would usually be the striker's dream, Jodi Lauri slipped over during a scramble in the six yard box - sending the ball meekly rolling out for a goal kick and Nona Amelsvoort judged a free header so wrong that it went out for a throw-in. Of course, Tucanviul did manage to score - a well placed shot from defender Criuzi Siwaad after Anghi Matheus made a mess of dealing with a corner - but the stats don't lie: sixty-two percent possession, twenty-two shots on goal, two shots on target. It may have been entertaining, but it was a far cry from the platonic ideal of the beautiful game.

Of course, trying to get four games a weekend to fix a singular narrative is always tricky and this week it was the turn of Wera Pauwelz to put a caveat on the tale. In perhaps her best performance since signing for De Commons in the off-season, she dazzled home crowds and got to fantastic goals in the process. The first came after just twenty minutes, the culmination of a run which saw her beat three Wilaamstad Wrijgers defenders before burying it past Csaen Ziumun. Wilaamstad weren't yet ready to give up the fight, Cnut Zumer in particular keeping Oodel Duoztiun on his toes. But Pauwelz second shortly after halftime sealed the deal. In actuality, most credit should go to left-back Edwina Strijd who played a beautiful, inch-perfect pass onto Pauwelz's feat from sixty yards. But in the week of the misfiring forward, Pauwelz cool under pressure a cheeky chip over Ziumun means she deserves all the credit of a magical performance.

Both Wilaamstad and Pingstrand have had woeful starts to the season - coupled with the fact they finished in the bottom two last season both teams went to De Wrijgers Stadion knowing it was a must-win game. Tensions flared early on: Luc Bisop and Anghi Matheus picked up a yellow card apiece for a scrap which could have easily seen both teams playing the rest of the eighty-four minutes with ten men. Within minutes, Bisop proved his worth with a powerful free-kick which left the cross-bar shaking on its way into the goal. Pingstrand didn't give up, however, and Vemi Vergusen quickly levelled the game at one-a-piece. Indeed, going into half-time Pingstrand were probably the better side leaving Warrior's keeper Csaen Ziumun to put in his best performance of the season thus far to keep the scores level. Pingstrand managed to keep the pressure up at the start of the second half, and were rewarded with their second goal: Ceut Dyzni tucking in a neat goal after a decisive break-away. But it was the Pingstrand defence that was once again their undoing: a mix-up between Rita Daele and Kajli Heuvel allowed Cnut Zumer to capitalise before Robyn Amsigg scored her first senior goal after Heuvel's clearance landed at her feet. In the end, it was Wilaamstad who got their first win of the season and Pingstrand left stranded at the bottom of the table after the first five games.

Elsewhere, Tiugz rescued a draw at home to Bondstad Treason in the dying minutes after a lowkey affair at De Huisvestig. Lonau Puotnaam opened the scoring for Treason, though later missed a penalty in an incident which saw Cwiuntun Romeijnders sent-off. It would be another penalty which would provide Tiugz relief - Loerel Haadwaj converting from the spot in the sixth minute of stoppage time. At the top of the table, both De Commons and CF Bondstad won away ties one-nil.

and then the realisation that the cut-off is in an hour and a half kicked in...

Matchday Six

De Commons knocked four past Pingstrand, Pauwelz continuing her good run of form of late by scoring one and getting two assists on route to a 4-2 victory. Leaders Bondstad got another win, though WIlaamstad made them work for it: it wasn't until the seventy-third minute that Kam Vandezer managed to break the deadlock, and Mejli Humel added a second moments later. Bondstad Treason were impressive in victory against Tucanviul, scoring one either side of half-time in a complete performance which fans will be hoping could kick-start a change in their fortunes.

Matchday Seven

As the season reached the halfway mark, the leaders kept up their strong performances thus far: De Commons winning against Tiugz - Wera Pauwelz being the sole scorer against the famous Tiugz defence. CF Bondstad went behind after just fifty-three seconds away at Pingstrand, but an otherwise commanding performance means they lead the table at the halfway stage. At the other end of the table, Bondstad Treason were again impressive: dominating Wilaamstad, although Csaen Ziumun was again solid in the Wilaamstad goal to keep the game at 2-1.

If the opening day of the second half was setting the tone, then we are in for a treat. The pick of the games saw the two top of the table teams - De Commons and CF Bondstad - face off, and it was a classic. Bondstad started the strongest, and went into half-time a goal up as a result - a beautiful effort from Stela Killam which flew into the De Commons goal. It was the second half where the game became a classic however, both sides playing fabulous attacking football - end to end. Briutni Kindvanstefan levelled for De Commons and Wictor Buul added another from the penalty spot shortly after. Tamaara Arbeider brought Bondstad back level, and could've had a second if it were not for an unbelievable save by Oodel Duoztiun. Perhaps inspired by her goalkeepers heroics, Wera Pauwelz was quick footed to score down the other end. CF Bondstad kept up the fight but when Lizett Aucs banged it in from thirty yards, it was clear who had their destiny in their own hands for the final run of games.

Another week, another loss for Pingstrand who, despite anything, still kept up the fight for ninety minutes against Tocigtuon Taun. Unfortunately, the quality gap was clear for all to see and the win was pretty decisive. Less decisive was the Bondstad Derby, which was on a knife age for the majority of the game. CF Bondstad did get a break-through though: making it 2-1 in the 89th minute and adding a third when Treason piled forward to try and nick a draw.

You read that right - eight-two. De Commons aren't known as a particularly attacking side, but when Coaa Kindvanhenri was sent off after just four minutes they saw the chance and dug the knife in. Wera Pauwelz got a hat-trick, Lizett Aucs scored two and Lie Bruux, Wictor Buul and Jaxon Pieuz all also found themselves on the scorecard. Pingstrand also got their first victory of the season, finding a kink in the usually stellar Tiugz defence. For a side who have been working hard despite adversity all season, it was a win celebrated bu everyone outside of Tiugz.

When De Commons slipped up against Wilaamstad Wrijgers, CF Bondstad might've thought they had their chance to bring themselves back level-pegging for first place in the regular season. However, they found themselves unable to penetrate the Tiugz defence and were left frustrated - though Tiugz did provide a masterclass in how to shut-out a team. Tocingtuon versus Treason was another classic - Tocigtuon kept putting themselves ahead, only from Treason to draw level each time.

After going so long without a win, Pingstrand won their third match in a row. Leading the charge has been Vemi Vergusen - scoring in all three games, including a beautiful scissor-kick to get the winner against Wilaamstad. De Commons look set to finish first in the regular season, beating Tocigtuon Taun whilst CF Bondstad were held to a home draw against Tucanviul Tijgers.

Pingstrand held onto a draw against De Commons to puncture The People's Team's air of invincibility whilst CF Bondstad also struggled against significantly weaker opposition - eventually wrestling a draw from Wilaamstad Wrijgers.

De Commons struggled to celebrate their regular season victory, being frustrated at home against Tiugz. Tucanviul Tijgers almost had a famous come-back, falling three nil behind against Tocigtuon Taun before scoring twice in injury time. Xandra Jenrik could have made it three-all, but slipped in the Tocigtuon rain to add a bit of incredulity to the season end. CF Bondstad's season ended in humiliation against a Pingstrand side who managed to avoid a sixth consecutive last place finish.

First Round - Qualifying Game: De Commons FC 2–2 CF Bondstad (2–2 AET) (4–5 pen.)

Tiugz's first ever playoff game ended in heartbreak at the hands of Bondstad Treason - Sjors Koken scoring both the goals en-route to the Semi Final. CF Bondstad will advance straight to the final after beating De Commons on penalties in a game which saw both sides reduced to ten players.

Semi Final: De Commons FC 5–0 Bondstad Treason

De Commons showed they weren't willing to give up their title without a fight - a Wera Pauwelz hat-trick humbled Bondstad to set up a second consecutive De Commons versus CF Bondstad final.

De Commons dominated from start to finish at De Stadionnationaal, and end the season as worthy champions.

Welcome to the Federação de Futebol Independente's first cycle of competition! Proud to be the second competition specifically designed for the multiverse's sporting homeless, and first for their domestic clubs, FFI builds on the framework created by UICA and carried on by the IFCF, in a similar vein to the AOCL, CdC, and CEdC. With the growth of the IAC, 'the randos of NS sport have never been better organized,' as Squornshelous put it, and with this newfound sense of identity, it is time for a 'regional' club competition of our own.
