Through secure channels, the Stoklomolvi Foreign Affairs Commissariat has received permission from the government of the People's Republic of China to deploy security forces into the city of Hong Kong to assess the situation. For the purposes of disclosure, the summarised and redacted details of this security force are as follows.

Stoklomolvi Hong Kong Security Detail

• In total, 5,200 ground personnel, 2 light cruisers;
• All armed personnel will be required to follow strict Rules of Engagement;
• All personnel will be granted the authority to arrest and detain forces that have been determined to be hostile to either the People's Republic of China or the Stoklomolvi Liaoist Federation;

The Stoklomolvi Foreign Affairs Commissariat is dismayed to see those that refer to defence of national sovereignty as imperialism, and is also shocked at the crass statements from the Sovereign of the Empire of Fusou. It remains our position that any entity seeking to unilaterally annex territory from another sovereign state is performing an illegal action; the Stoklomolvi Liaoist Federation will not deviate from this position at this time. While the annexation and statehood of Hong Kong have certainly been an unusual and swift process, the Holy Romagnan Empire of Karlsland accepts and formally acknowledges that it was indeed the people of Hong Kong who initiated the process, and this being the case, it is their right to request, initiate, and accept membership among the Royal American States.
