However, fortunately for the Jews conservatives aren't actually concerned about anything but their own power, so they don't see that as a problem so much as what should be an 'easy' way to get votes by pandering to Israel.

Not necessarily: Not if Jews are defined as their own ethno-religious group. That doesnt equals with them being Israeli. Being Israeli doesnt necessarily requires one to be jewish however. (Druzes for example, who also serve in the IDF)
