December 2019 Election: Winners and Losers
CNN | 21 December 2019

Image

Losers

Elizabeth Warren was not able to capitalize on the unpopularity of Conservative leadership and the fatigue associated with 9 years of it. The biggest loss of the night goes to Warren and the Labour Party.

While the Conservative Party's hopes were not high, their expectations were not even close to this low. Conservative MPs must be discussing the future of the Conservative Party right now.

The Liberal Party was expected to increase their seats and potentially be the only party to do so. They not only failed to do so, they failed miserably, losing half their seats to a party formed just two months ago.

Winners

The Alliance of Regions surprised even themselves with their historic results tonight.
