Having politically active professors as parents, she absorbed both their passion for learning and politics, though she would end up pursuing a career in business. She graduated top of her already elite class, receiving a job with an asset management firm directly out of university. During her time working there she did well for herself, but like others of her generation felt stifled by what she considered to be a lack of dynamism in upper management. She, along with many of her follow younger co-workers in the 20's and 30s, attempted boardroom coup. Unfortunately for them it was unsuccessful, but they'd built up a strong enough bloc in the firm that upper management was left with no choice but negotiate a gradual demerger for the coup participants rather than fire them. This lead to the creation of Hedgequality Investment, in which Flora received the title of Head of Public Relations. She suspects that her assignment to go to this event was partially intended to keep her out of the office, as while the other executives saw her as a key member of the firm, they constantly feared her jostling her way to the top.

Flora Thornhill would describe herself firstly as fore-mostly as a caring, warm, empathetic person. This is mostly the truth. She absolutely has no interest in bullying those that are vulnerable or in anyway are underprivileged, nore does she engage in any condescension toward them, indeed she is magnanimous. In that context she is caring, warm and empathetic. She also is well more than capable of concealing her emotions, and putting on a polite face even in circumstances that she is uncomfortable with or has a grave disagreement with. There is however, another side of her personality that's much colder and crosses into viciousness. She reserves this for people she dislikes, are in her way and she believes she can take down a peg. Barring the opportunity for that, though, she'll play it cool and bide her time. Scheming is, more or less, what she lives for and her boundless empathy for the underprivileged is purified with controlled sadism for the privileged. It is these tendencies that won her position and also likely got her sent her to this ball.

Hedgequality Investment is know in Canadaiana as a "Social Asset Management Firm. or a "SAMF". SAMFs are a financial institutions responsible for capital investment and management in Canadaiana, including foreign investment and all SAMFs are owned by the state but operate fully autonomously. The Canidnite economy is unique mixture of deep Financialization and Market Socialism. As for what's specifically relevant for Hedgequality Investment, it prides it's self on being a "socially responsible investor", which is business speak for having a friendly enough image that the firms it owns are often willing to tout the holdings Hedgequality Investment has in them, or at least not downplay it.

On December 9th through December 11th, the citizens of Montreal will undergo a peaceful picket rally outside of City Hall premises on Gosford road, just North of the Housing and Ballroom. The demonstrators have gathered from various political factions to protest the foreign presence in Quebec, the disruption of the peace, and the reckless endangerment risk created by foreign representatives. City authorities have jurisdiction over National authorities in this field of decision-making, and the rally was given the go-ahead by the Mayor. Montreal Police Service has agreed to cooperate with Royal Police authorities to contain the demonstration to the one street and maintain the safety of the international guests. The event is expected to be attended by 200 to 300 demonstrators at a height due to the cold weather. The road will be closed off for the duration of the protest, and the Groupe Tactique d'intervention (Tactical Intervention Squad) will be on-site.

Guards of guests and guests themselves are asked to not intervene in the demonstrations and to leave the situation in the hands of State Police. Furthermore, guests are asked to not enter the protest zone

But dissatisfaction with the Communist government in his homeland prompted him to return. Nostalgia towards the monarchy and old religious customs were becoming prominent, and Sarkos provided this opportunity. He was the last Reinkalistani noble alive, was he not? He set up multiple resistance cells and spread royalist propaganda.

In 2001, he drove an armoured truck to the South Reinkalistani politburo. Getting out with his closest followers, he proceeded to storm and overthrow the current government in a coup. Now, he rests as King of South Reinkalistan. Having ruled through six major wars in 18 years, his reign has in no way been easy. But he still maintains his grip on South Reinkalistan. Never again will they suffer under Communism.
