I don't watch much anime anymore, but when I did, I would say Your Lie in April was the best and it hit me on an emotional level. I didn't know what to do when I finished watching it afterwords because it hit me so hard.

A difficult question, but I suppose my favourite so far is alternating between either Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda, Naruto, BnHA, or Anohana depending on the mood.

Would either be Kino's Journey (2003) or Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Honorable mentions include Violet Evergarden, Fate/Zero and Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Bladeworks.

At this point, I've seen about 140+ different anime, and there are three anime that I genuinely love and highly recommend- Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor (2007), Black Lagoon (2006) and Rising of the Shield Hero (2019). Without a doubt, these three are my favorite anime that I love (although, I have some others that I would also highly recommend).

Always a difficult question, to limit the countless one has seen to just one. I guess I could cop out and just list the great shorts compilations that have been put out, such as Robot Carnival, Neo Tokyo, Short Peace, or Memories. However, that wouldn't be honest: very few of the shorts individually stuck with me, and most blur together in one big visual trip. Everyone is different in their tastes and how they qualify good anime that leaves an impact on them. For me, that qualification can't easily be summarized into a keyword. Shows that shed insight onto life itself, delve into the psyche, and provide meaning and inspiration for the viewer. Don't get me wrong, I love me some cyberpunk and mindfuck anime. But my personal winners are Golden Boy, GTO, and Salaryman Kintaro. Funny, lighthearted, rebellious stories about coming into one's own.

Tie between Noucome and NGNL. Pretty obvious I have shit taste and proud of it :p . I mean, the classics (Bebop, FLCL, Toradora etc.) are cool too. Never been much of a fan for the big bois (One Piece, Bleach etc.), pretty clear I'm a sucker for one-season wonders

Also, shouldn't this be merged with the Anime megathread? Cause it feels like spam if everyone's just going to one-line their favorite show and be off.
