Now with all selections of gods available, it makes me wonder what equalizing force keeps all these gods with negative effects and abilities in check long enough for civilization to thrive? Especially since several gods can cause turmoil en-mass upon the mortal world and such...

She can't, directly. But she can affect mortals just fine, which is a source of influence for gods. both in recieving and displaying their power, though can be different case to case.

It doesn't matter if he's s forgotten or not. The corruption and the memetic agents remain, and his influence could only be temporarily stopped.

While true, temporarily is all that really is needed, and just as he can do it again, so can she. Though, to be fair, Etheri already has a restriction in the form of her Amnesia, which prevent her from performing any elaborate or complex planning or deviousness. She sees herself as a Goddess of Mercy, relieving others of burdensome Knowledge. She can be just as troublesome as she can be helpful, making her a double edge sword. Even when one wishes to manipulate her, there is still a high chance of things not going the way one wants.

Another point is what good is a memetic agent and corruption to a brain dead mortal?

On a relevant note, I wonder how your god's powers of chaos and corruption react to Sakaal's powers over distortion and mysteries?

Well that's silly, isn't it?

I'll have Setsa head over to the Khov-Pharn when I get back, and see what the IC currently looks like. I've got work to go to, and then another job- probably won't be on as soon as I would be. Looking forward to interaction between mother and son.

A brain dead mortal would be useless to Comonos, and I'd imagine to most other gods as well.

Hmm, interesting. There definitely may be some overlap.

Listrin meanwhile is just watching the Ruination gods burn down the world and is getting his broom ready for clean up.

Oh this is rebooted? I guess I can make a god or two if people are still allowed to join. I was going to make one for the last RP but it flopped (no wonder it didn't pop up in my active thread list).

Listrin doesn't want to mess with them, but if other's fuck humanity up he's not going have any qualms cleaning up the mess.

Young God gotta learn somehow. Presuming the modern timeline is more or less intact, he’s got some interesting experience.

NAME | Asura
GOD OF | Improvement, Struggle, Enlightenment, Progress
TITAN or DEVA? | Deva
POWERS and ABILITIES | Indomitable Will, True Flight, Psionics, Illusory Techniques

APPEARANCE | Asura still retains some of his human appearance, but also possesses inhuman traits as well. His skin is grey, and his mentor has painted it with intricate lines and shapes designed with black ink. He's gained a third eye upon becoming enlightened, but they always remain closed. He wears an orange wrapping that can become an arrangement of loose-fitting robes, and it is in this cloth that he has his walking stick.

SHORT BIO | Asura was born Ravi Parachure, the mere son of a farmer. His mentor, Ravana, found him in the fields one day and took him as a protege and away from the mundane path set before him as the son of a farmer. Ravana was an ascended mortal as well, who was taught by Kaizen, the right hand of Melius, the Titan of Improvement and Progress. Ravana spoke of establishing a new pantheon, "outside of the core of the gods", and once Asura achieved enlightenment, was invited to join this new pantheon. It is unclear, as of yet, if this farmer-turned-god would be able to help build it.
