Thermodolia has several ship registrations depending on the agency to which it belongs

Navy:

The Polatan Royal Navy uses the registration of HMRS (His/Her Majesties Royal Ship) for all naval ships.

The Huterric Union uses the registration HUNV (Huterric Union Naval Vessel), often pronounced as spelt as opposed to being pronounced as an acronym, for all ships owned by the navy.

All naval ships are registered as SNS (Sparta Naval Ship).

The Imperial navy uses NSMI(Navire de Sa Majesté Impériale/ His Imperial Majesty's ship)

[Imperial Majapahit]

The Imperial Navy of Majapahit's vessels are registered KKM [name]. In Indo-Malayan, KKM stands for Kapal Kemaharajaan Majapahit, literally "Imperial Majapahit Ship". It has used this registration since the early 1900s. Before that, ships' names stand alone.

Class names are determined by the types of vessels, as follows:

• Aircraft carriers: names of ancient maritime kingdoms, e.g. Sriwijaya-Class
• Battleships*: names of major islands in the archipelago, e.g. Irian-Class.
• Destroyers*: names of minor islands in the archipelago, e.g. Bangka-Class and Aru-Class
• Frigates: names of national heroes, e.g. Ahmad Yani-Class
• Corvettes: names of national heroes, e.g. Diponegoro-Class
• Fast missile boats: names of traditional Nusantara weaponry, e.g. Tombak-Class
• Submarines: names of weapons found in Wayang puppetry, e.g. Cakra-Class
• Landing platform docks: names of coastal cities, e.g. Majakarta-Class

* means no longer being operated.

Besides the Navy, several other government agencies in Majapahit also operate vessels. These include the Maritime Affairs ministry, the Maritime Division of the Imperial Police, and the Customs and Excise directorate of the Finance ministry. Ships and boats operated by these agencies do not use the prefix KKM, instead they use PSM, Perahu Sipil Majapahit, literally means "Civil Boat of Majapahit".

[Griffany]

Griffany possesses a large but inflexible navy; due to political infighting with the Army, a Navy air arm has not been developed, and no aircraft carriers have been completed. Nevertheless, radar and anti-air installations are advanced, and some large capital ships even possess a primitive CiWS, using quad .50 Cals and radar guidance.

Banking on the power of large battleships similar to the real-life German H-class (planned) and Bismarck-class, the American Iowa and (planned) Montana-Class, as well as the Italian Littorio-Class, the Griffanese Navy is technologically-advanced, but toes the line to an antiquated strategy that leaves it vulnerable in the open sea.

The Griffanese navy uses HMS- His/Her Majesty's Ship- to denote their warships, causing much confusion with their universe's version of Great Britain. As a result, Griffany refers to the Royal Navy's ships as "BW", for "British Warship", and the Royal Navy refers to the former's as "GW", for "Griffanese Warship".

Griffanese merchant ships simply carry the title "SS"- for steamship.

[TURTLESHROOM II]

TurtleShroom used the abbreviation "TSS", which means "Turtle Sailing Ship". The establishment of the Great Bountiful Empire of TurtleShroom at the closure of the Civil War has resulted in calls to shift to TMSMS or TSMS (Their Most Sober Majesties' Ship or Their Sober Majesties' Ship).

The final decision was to keep "TSS", but they changed the name to "Their Sobriety's Ship". All of these used "they" as plural, because there are three Tsars in charge of the TurtleShroomian empire.

[Creslonia]

The Creslonian National Navy utilises the 'RCS' designation, meaning 'Republic of Creslonia Ship'.

Ships in the Apian Navy have the prefix ANS (Apian Navy Ship). In addition, they have a type number followed by a unique unit number.

Vardelian naval ships are registered as:
VV - Vessale Vardolûid [Name] (English: VS - Vardelian Ship [Name])
and Coast Guard ships as:
VGCV - Vessale Gard Cosctanid Vardolûid [Name/Number*] (English: VCGS - Vardelian Coast Guard Ship [Name/Number*])
*small coast guard vessels are not named, but numbered.

Since 1988, Shikonjima uses 'RSN', for 'Royal Shikonjimanese Navy', as a registration. Vessels registered prior to that only carry this registration if they have been re-registered since then; otherwise, they use the previous code 'ISN', for 'Imperial Shikonjimanese Navy'.

The official Catlanonian / AOR naval ship registered as RSS. In English RSS stands for Republic's State Ship. The registration is used in later 1970, before that, ORS (Orientian Republic Ship) are used for registration. And when Catarelia stills become British Commonwealth, it registration was HMOS or His Majesty Orientian Ship

Class Name are determined by the types of the vessel, as follows:

• Aircraft Carriers: Use the name of Alphabet Classifications or former British Aircraft Carriers, e.g. Oscar-Class.
• Strike Cruisers: Names of big island and historical British Ships, e.g. Seacrapper-Class.
• Amphibious Assault Ship and LHD: Use the name of star constellation, e.g. Capricorn-Class.
• Destroyers: Names of the cities, small islands and states in ANZR, e.g. Rockhampton-Class.
• Cruisers: Names of meaningful English words, e.g. Revolution-Class.
• Frigates: Use historical event and Nation's Hero, e.g. Serenence-Class.
• Submarines: Name of major cities and sea name, e.g. Austral-Class.
• Corvette: Name of culture or traditional weapon, even a national animal, e.g. Boomerang-Class.

Besides the Navy, RCDF (Republic Coastal Defense Forces) also operate ships with RCDS (Republic Coastal Defense Ships) for registration. Also, the civilian ships, Custom Protection, and Police Water Patrol classified as RSV (Republic Small Vessel).

[Aldina]

Aldish naval vessels use the registration SMS (Seiner Majestät Schiff, "His Majesty's Ship"); this abbreviation is used even when the reigning monarch of Aldina is female. Vessels not considered "ships" (such as torpedo boats, submarines, and airships) are referred to using the registration SM ("His Majesty's") followed by a two-letter hull symbol (UB for a submarine, TB for a torpedo boat, LS for an airship, and so on) and then an identifying number; for example, SM LS-4 would be the fourth airship brought into service with the Imperial Navy. The "SM" registration is also used when referring to a ship by its full name and category, such as SM Kleiner Kreuzer Meerland (His Majesty's Light Cruiser Meerland).

Officially, it's D_P (Diarcesus ____ Ploeum) Ship Name. By convention, English translations render it as D_S (Diarcesian ____ Ship) Ship Name.

The standard prefix for vessels of the Pulawan Defense Force is "BRP" which stands for "Barko ng Republika Pulawan", meaning "Ship of the Republic of Pulawan."
