Greentronics™ Recycling Initiative
YAG Technologies is committed to preserving the environment. The Greentronic™ Recycling Initiative, originally conceived by our CEO, Paul Allen, features three key aspects of reducing, reusing, and recycling. In the first step, to reduce the amount of waste generated, we forced our engineers to create our systems using thinner sheets of plastic for constructing our computers than they had initially suggested. Not only does this keep prices low, it also reduces the amount of hazardous and toxic petrochemicals used to create the plastic for our computer systems. In the next step, reuse, YAG Technologies International was proud to create our Greentronic™ Collection Program. For a small fee, YAG Technologies International will collect used or unwanted computer systems and place them in one of our Greentronics™ Green Redistribution Centers. Our Greentronics™ Green Redistribution Centers are located in economically deficient areas of the world. Each center comprises of a large dirt pit where old electronic systems are dumped - citizens living near the center are free to take as many computer systems as they like, to re-purpose however they wish! Lastly, in the recycling step, YAG International Technologies is committed to recycling all waste created by our factories. At the end of each month, all waste produced is collected and loaded onto a ship where it will be dumped into the ocean to create artificial reefs. Our waste is recycled as an environmentally friendly habitat for all creatures of the oceans!
