Truman is a complete savage. This man went off on the French after asking for aid, and straight up said "stop wasting Americans dollars." And now that the West German rep came to NYC, he basically said the same thing. Cabellero was hilarious last time, but Truman takes the crown today. I guess WW2 and the Berlin Crisis has made him a rather jaded man

They weren't asking for more aid. In fact, it was a matter of actually lessening the amount of aid needed for Western Germany by allowing a more independently acting state. Adenauer isn't unware of the current West German population attitudes towards the current state of affairs. He's trying to halt the growing sentiment of governmental displeasure to avoid any sort of civilian backlash that would further harm the relations with the West.

Perhaps South Korea? Any Eastern Bloc nation beside East Germany is open. If you decide to be Turkey, you'll immediately be in conflict with the Greeks (most likely.) Any African Independence movements, Egypt (the Suez Crisis will happen in 1956). Maybe even Indonesia or North Vietnam

Basically what I'm saying is that for a lot of the remaining nations, you can have way more to do than if you were Monaco.

I thought the Spain player was going to respond. As much as I would love to, you're part of NATO so...maybe France, UK, Greece etc. Today will brrijt the next round of events, and Europe is next. If by that time you still don't have a good idea, then you can use the events to get something going

It wasn't, Tito and Stalin very much hated each other and the Soviets nearly invaded in 1947 until the U.S. backed them up.

Yugoslavia and the USSR split politically in 1948, after mounting tensions between Tito and Stalin. The RP starts in 1950, two years after the split. There might be some contention to that, though, since the OP said that there was a point of divergence in 1945.

Hard disagree? Economic miracle should be cut down if the nations it affects don't implement the policies that enable the economic miracle. Good economic policies should be rewarded with good economics

Mostly. The only real exception would be Tibet since it's not shown on the map right now. The point of diversion is also 1945, which limits player-made nations anyway. What are you planning on doing for your nation? It might be able to work out

Where the hell is the China player? I'm going to have them meet with the Soviets and Northern Koreans as it happened historically, but once the US intervenes, China NEEDS to have an active presence here. I'll have no choice but to take control of them by the time late 1950 comes
