M 250 Amarok Armored Vehicle: Combat

Named after a Mythical Wolf Spirit, The Amarok Is a well-armored lightweight combat vehicle intended for counter IFV/Counter APC>Anti Armor Ambush, and combat Support. It is armed with a High-Velocity 40MM Chain GUn, multiple Laser-Guided ATGMs and Coaxial machineguns. The Bolt-on applique armor, Air spaces within the armor and composite nature of the armor allow The Amarok to survive hits fro 35mm cannons even those firing advanced armor-piercing ammunition. Its mast-mounted Thermal, Low light, and multi-spectrum visual optics allow the commander to st behind cover and survey the battlefield, as well as allowing the gunner to target and engage enemy vehicles from behind cover or terrain. Typically assigned to flanking and reconnaissance units of the Cavalry or to armored units accompanying Mechanized Infantry and Motor Rifles regiments.

Powered by a Turbocharged 275 Horsepower Diesel engine, and weighing only 12 tons, the Vehicle hs an excellent power to weight ration, High acceleration, and good cross country mobility/. The Amarok Makes use of its high mobility and small size to Rapidly engage enemy units and escape before the enemy can respond with airstrikes or heavier armored units. The three-man crew can position themselves to observe enemy movements and engage with a degree of flexibility not available to large, or less nimble vehicles.

That looks very good! Almost like a leading screen for some Hearts of Iron IV mod. I think it needs something more to it though, possibly adding a pet to the bottom left near the book?

The inability to launch satellites on the Endless Sea combined with the unique atmospheric effects caused by the mist have led to the use of "Hubs" to provide communications links across the vast stretches of ocean. Each hub is equipped to carry a tethered aerostat. The aerostat is used to lift communications and surveillance equipment to higher altitudes. With the reduced mist density at higher altitudes radio waves can easily travel orders of magnitude farther then at sea level. Charlie 144 is a typical example of a Class C Hub. Spaced several hundred to a thousand kilometers apart, Class C hubs form the back bone of communications networks as they rely information between forces at frontier regions and the island bases located around the home straights. While equipped with a limited armament for self defense, Class C hubs generally avoid conflict and will reposition themselves rather than enter into a conflict with the highly territorial kaiju. To reduce the risk of retaliatory attacks standing orders prohibit Kaiju hunting within 250 Kms of a Hub.

As with all my stuff, wip. No currently happy with the crane and antennae placement in particular but besides that I'm mostly satisfied with it. May also beef up the pontoons and shrink the thrusters.

It is a bit beefy...( its one major weakness)I took the size into account when designing it and tried to keep it to a minimum. It has a lot of gear crammed into its space such as optics, radios, designators, battlefield network systems, etc...and a pretty big engine for a light vehicle...I couldn't justify it being any smaller.

As for the numbers....
The M250 is 2.29m high,4.41m long and 2.72 wide, by comparison, the Bradley is 2.97m high, 3.3m wide, and 6.5m long. The FV101 ARV is 2.01 m high, 2.13 wide, and 5.28m long ... So its in line with other armored recon vehicles. The extra size is mostly due to its use of spaced armor and bolt-on packs...And It's ATGM Launchers which allows it to absorb hits other ARVs cant handle, and defeat heavier vehicles. The extra firepower and armor are intended to offset the lack of sneakiness.

And for when you want to look around without being spotted..There is always the M342 hedgehog... its not much bigger than a German Wiesel...


Or The M342 "Shrew" Version with its 20mm and twin ATGMs...

Made a new tank...and by new, I mean a Type-89 clone.




I finally got the "wire mesh" look down for the little engine cover on the back. It's my favourite part.

Really, the main difference between this and a normal Type-89 is just the gun, and the variant with a Chi-Ha style antenna on the turret.

i saw the actual irl loli m16 and so i might shrink wrap the magwell like that thing i guess



he little

carries 12-16x SDB sized bombs in the main bays and a pair of ARMs or another 8x tiny boi bombes in the outboards

since the bomb bays are wide enough for a 2000 lbs bomb and an AMRAAM im thinking it'll be 4x2 stacking in the main bays for a total of 8 per and ordinary 2x2 in the outboards

so a quartet with 2x loaded with SDBs and 2x loaded with 4x HARMs and 4x WCMDs should be adequate to knock out a squadron or regiment sized airbase

maybe small blast/demolition bombs instead of penetrators for one of them but fitted with similar wing guidance kits if it needs to blow up stuff that isnt hangars

I redrew parts of my AT rifle design, fixed up the stock and handguard and pistol grip and whatnot.



Also, made a new uniform (the one on the Left) for my alt's army. This one is for Border Guards/Frontiersmen, while the normal uniform (Right) is for...well, normal soldiers. I figure the gas masks could be used by both though. Meh.
