In a newfound effort to gain terrestrial allies and the historic first opening to diplomacy in Mercatus, Prime Minister Trunt Harval himself expresses desires to meet with Secretary-General Abra in person to discuss trade deals and economic/military backing. If the Secretary General agrees to meet with the Prime Minister, then the Pan-Asiatic States will be granted access to our technology and the knowledge to operate it. Empty, habitable planets await a fledgling interstellar power to colonize them, and your nation will be granted these worlds should you choose to enter a diplomatic agreement. As a sign of our good intention of raising a terrestrial power to the stars, we agree to hold the meeting in Neo-Manila. As you know, the Spiritual Republic of Caryton, albeit a youthful nation indeed, has made wonderful strides to improve the people's living, even if our nation is theocratic by means with 99% adherence to Christianity and 85% of said population adhering to the Gospel Church of Caryton and it's unique doctrines. Sparing the left's disdain towards abrahamic religion, I would like to know the opinion of your countrymen and yourself on some of our policies. Caryton follows a mixed economy which it supplies to the people free education, healthcare, and utilities on top of an extensive welfare system and programs that-- alongside with our church-state union-- contributed to next to no unemployment. Otherwise, we have a free and capitalistic economy.

The difference is that our mixed economy is in ecclesiastical, not socialistic or socialist-sympathetic terms. As you know, citizens pay a 4-15% tithe to the church based on income, on top of taxes. This is what fuels the gospel activities and the national aid to those unfortunate or looking to better themselves. All immodest substances or objects are banned, and we are working on making the country even more carbon-neutral than it already is.

The question I pose is this: While keeping the ecclesiastical rule, what actions does your society take to better the lives of its citizens aside from those I have listed? What are some fundamental principles that your government adheres to? It is my belief that if we are to act on these pieces of advice, if kept politically... neutral, then we may be one step closer to a professional and bounteous relationship. I personally do not agree with socialism, we lead an ecclesiastical country. Still, in this day and age and these trying times, an old lady such as myself must also become a peon for multiverse peace, and set an example by offering a branch of solidarity.

The nations of the East do not desire to discriminate against any single religion, so long as they are peaceful in nature. Neither do we truly care about the economic systems of our brethren nations—as we maintain cordial relations even with those whose economies we do not necessarily agree with. We don't believe it is our business, until such countries make it ours. Furthermore, I have no doubts regarding the benign intentions of your Most Serene Spiritual Republic. I must say that I am a little surprised with how low your tithes are, but, well, that's the socialist in me speaking.

As to your query, we are making great strides in national development. Our Federal form of government has provided us with the mobility to do what we believe is necessary without fear of intervention from the West. We have strengthened our position in the global market. We have become resolute in providing our people with skills, jobs, and appropriate payment. Our schools are filled with children eager to learn; our factories produce the music of industry; and our coffers are filled with hard currency.
