President Ngbanda announces world tour

Postby Mambenga » Sat Oct 12, 2019 6:25 pm

"Nations of the World,

The People's Revolutionary Republic of Mambenga has recently opened its arms to the world. We note with pleasure that the number of countries with which Mambenga maintains diplomatic relations, cultural ties, scientific cooperation, and commercial relations has proliferated. Numerous embassies adorn our capital. Record levels of foreign investment have poured in. A once obscure Central African republic is now known to more and more countries of the world. Our foreign policy of positive neutralism has netted us friends from the socialist and capitalist camps alike.

To celebrate our country's growing international clout, to deepen our existing ties and forge new ones, our head of state, Maréchal Ngbanda Kpama Nzoyombo, Responsable Suprême de la Révolution, Président du Mouvement Populaire de la Révolution Culturelle et Sociale, Président de la République has proclaimed his intention to embark on a world tour. The President of the MPRCS/President of the Republic wishes to visit as many world capitals as possible to discuss bilateral and multilateral issues, including trade, foreign investment, counter-terrorism, climate change, and whatever other issues may be of interest. Accordingly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Mambengans Abroad (formerly the Department of Foreign Affairs) hereby requests all interested countries to extend an invitation to President Ngbanda if they are so inclined. Mambenga is by no means a significant military or economic power, but nevertheless, we wish to make our mark on the world and have friendly relations with as many other countries as possible."

"Your Excellency,

It was with great pleasure and satisfaction that President Ngbanda received your invitation to visit your country. He accepts your invitation with gratitude and looks forward to a state visit to your country. I myself will be accompanying him, as President Ngbanda speaks neither Spanish nor English, and I am fluent in both. I earnestly hope that this visit will mark the beginning of a fruitful, cooperative, and mutually beneficial bilateral relationship between our countries."

    20 October 2019

    Dear Professor Ayumba,

Letter of Congratulations—President Ngbanda announces world tour

I am delighted to hear about the wonderful achievements of the Mambengan Council of Ministers in opening Mambenga to the international community. The People’s Revolutionary Republic’s public diplomacy initiatives have surpassed all expectations and for especially good reasons.

Your open diplomacy initiative has been a truly heart-warming story in the eyes of interested Yohannesian investors and companies. I look forward to seeing more interaction between open-minded Mambengan and Yohannesian companies, and the gradual increase in trade and capital flows.

Please pass on my congratulations to His Excellency The President of the Popular Movement of the Cultural and Social Revolution. I wish you the best of luck in your government’s initiative and will be doing my part in recommending your great country to potentially-interested investors and companies in the Nineteen Countries.

    Yours sincerely,

    DIANA

"Madame Ambassador,

President Ngbanda thanks you profusely for your kind words. He has advised me to tell you that all Yohannesian firms are invited to do business in the People's Revolutionary Republic of Mambenga. Our country's investment code offers the following to all prospective investors: A five year tax holiday; ten years' exemption from import duties on capital goods; and no limit on repatriation of profits on capital. We are an undeveloped country and we recognize that we will never be fully developed without international assistance. Yohannesian capital would be a boon to our country and to yours. Our infrastructure remains underdeveloped, but we possess abundant reserves of copper, gold, manganese, tin, silver, diamonds, cobalt, coltan, and other natural resources. You have my President's word that your property will be zealously protected, and we will ensure that the process of setting up business is as swift and inexpensive as possible. Our country enjoys a degree of political stability that makes Mambenga an excellent prospect for foreign investors. By investing in Mambenga, not only will you be providing jobs and livelihood for Mambengan citizens, but your corporations will also profit, and the newfound friendship between our two countries will flourish as never before."

WA-compliant harbor inspection reports point up the beauty and growth potential of the Nineteen Countries’ busiest port.

According to the Nineteen Countries Public Ports Association’s 2019 Maritime Cargo and Rail Transport Report, foreign imports of industrial minerals through the Royal Port of Alexandria are forecast to increase by an average of 4.7 per cent in the year ending 30 December 2019. More than 1,000 freighter ships coming from Yohannes’ 70 new trading partner countries have entered the port since Q3 2017/18. But, while the projected growth makes for impressive figures on paper, the port’s board of directors, Logistics Cluster Partnership Limited by Shares—a body corporate owned by the Royal Alexandria Regional Council and ratepayers—prefers to point out the challenges associated with business expansion.

Board chief executive and former chairman of the East Coast of the Nineteen Countries Sea Ports Committee Walter Truman said one of the most pressing challenges facing “LCP” would be the need to find a more cost effective and efficient method to classify goods coming from member states and non-member states of the World Assembly.

“These merchant ships are coming from World Assembly member states and non-member countries alike, and our automated port operations have struggled to keep up with this new period of consistent growth,” Mr Truman said.

“Public ports on the East Coast are already facing many logistics operation and management problems,” he said. “Agricultural products from the Orient and chemicals and machinery from the New World, we handle just about everything.”

“Take goods entering the port from the People’s Revolutionary Republic of Mambenga, for instance.”

“I’m proud of the fact that so far we have worked well as equal partners in managing storage handling and shipping between Mambengan and Yohannesian corporations and individuals. I think the people of Mambenga export some of the best industrial minerals to our country. If you go and call any of our factory and customer relations managers, and mention Manbenga, they will say that Mambengan industrial mineral exporters are more competitive in comparison to their counterparts in Yohannes.”

Looking ahead, the 2019 Maritime Cargo and Rail Transport Report has warned that the Royal Port of Alexandria will struggle to keep up with the requirements stipulated by Mambenga’s logistics and freight forwarding regulatory bodies. To mitigate risks which could bring material slowdown in trade from Mambenga, more funding from Parliament will be needed next year.

The Royal Port of Alexandria is governed by a body corporate responsible to the Regional Council and ratepayers for the management of privately-owned facilities on behalf of partner companies overseas. From Fecaw to The State of Monavia and Tjorl to Mambenga, the port deals with shippers from over 200 countries, and make available its facilities to registered exporters from both old and new trading partner countries of the Nineteen Countries since 2010.
