Expert are still wondering quite how Ziwana ended up 2-0 victors over Pauh Janggi after a game in which their opponents almost totally dominated. Powerful striker Jean Wilder gave Ziwana the lead with an accurate finish from just outside the penalty kick area in the 11th minute. Enthusiastic center-back Shah Farid Shah had a moment he quickly want to forget about after failed to score a penalty shoot-out in 39th minute.

A youngster, Jean Gopaul completes the scoring for Ziwana with an accurate finish in the 88th minute.

Pauh Janggi captain, Daeng Senopati told Pauhsport.com of his dismay at their 0-2 defeat to Ziwani. The 30-year old defender said that even though Ziwani is talented team, such a defeat is purely unacceptable. Head coach Firdaus Wan Yahya took several questions about his reaction to the match and player performance in the wake of Pauh Janggi's 0-2 Skyway.com CMFA Melayu Archipelago Cup Group D defeat against Ziwani. Firdaus response was, "Wilder had a good solid game, unfortunately for us."

Ramzan Fathan - 5/10
Ramzan Fathan's easy goal. He should command the defense line to be on guard against the Hindu Raj attackers and should not be defeat near the post. There was a time when Ramzan Fathan made the team-mate anxious for a moment because he loved running out of his area to prevent the Hindu Raj from attacking.

Daniel Hamka - 6/10
The Hindu Raj appears to have targeted many attacks on Daniel Hamka's part. Unable to create a latitude transmission while overlapping.

Nur Azali - 6/10

TUN SENGALANG PETARA OFFICIALLY OPENS THE 3RD MELAYU ARCHIPELAGO CUP

Daulapura, Eraman - Bendahara of Eraman, Tun Sengalang Petara officially opens the 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup being held in eight cities in Eraman.

The opening ceremony was held at the national stadium, Daulapura Stadium.

Bendahara Tun Sengalang Petara said the 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup was officially opened after a show by children carrying the flag of the 20 participating nations.

Eramanian international actor, Aran Permata was one of the performers at the ceremony which featured various traditional Eramanian art shows.

The opening match was between Eraman and Segama in which the host won convincingly 4-2. All goals from Eraman was scored in the first half by Antan Mora, Milo Kaulawi, Perda Nasar and Kili Munawi.

The National Team Prepare for First Match
Live Coverage at 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup

Arupura, Eraman - Yesterday, Soracana Islands National Team has arrived at Eraman for the 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup, the highest football competition for national team in Melayu Archipelago which is sanctioned by Confederation de Melayu Football Association (CMFA). It is the first time that Soracana Islands join the competition. Many have high expectation with the result.

Aksabasu Milajading, Manager of the National Team, stated that he gives the freedom to the Head Coach to select the best of the best players to compete in the competition. Although Milajading doesn't say anything about his expectation for the team but it is implies that he wants Soracana Islands able to at least pass the Group Round.

"I am very excited with the competition. It is our chance to be able to compete in the international level and give prestige to our country football legacy," said Soragi Humanjar, Captain of Soracana Islands National Team.

After the drawing which held on Monday night, Soracana Islands was draws into Group B, together with Libonesia, Tolol, Labuan and Cempaka and Urawan. The team will play their first match during the second official match day on 17 October 2019. Soracana Islands will be play against Libonesia who in the first match played against Urawan which ended in a draw.

The Head Coach, Yuhabani Padangadak said that he is not giving his players any pressure. He just assured them to play as relax as they can be and always stay focus in the first match. The match will be played in Arupura Stadium.

ZIWANA'S "UMODZI, UMODZI" FOOTBALL PROVES TOO MUCH FOR PAUH JANGG

Ziwani players celebrate Jean Wilders goal

The Leopards came into this match as newcomers and underdogs against one of the strongest footballing nation in the Melayu region. Pauh Jangg having played in the previous two iterations and even been successful were sure favourites to beat the Leopards easily. However, this was not the case when match day one of the Melayu Archipelago Cup came. Pauh Jangg started out well in the first 9 minutes as they dominated possession and even had 3 clear cut chances that were quickly saved by Western United's first choice keeper, 18 year old Jean Kane. Everything however changed when Pauh Jangg were caught off the break. As soon as the Ziwani players gained possession of the ball they did not recycle it like their counterparts but quickly launched a counter attack with their quick direct pass, "umodzi, umodzi football. Promising winger, 18 year old Hashaan Casimir was able to go through the Pauh Jangg midfielders like butter before passing it on to LIga Malikiy top goal scorer, Jean Wilder who quickly accurately buried it into the net past Ismail Othmaniah to give the Leopards the lead.

The Pauh Jangg side a chance to equalize after they were given a penalty in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ah Fok the Tamaria Football Academy left back had brought down Ahmed Bragas in the penalty box. Ah Fok was quickly substituted for 18 year old Louis Citorah who plays for Wadid Rangers. The penalty was taken by center-back Shah Farid Shah but Ziwani shot stopper, Jean Kane denied Pauh Jangg a chance to equalize.

After the second half Pauh Jangg dominated the game, however they were unable to break the Leopards defence. The Ziwani side did show moments of brilliance even though they were being dominated with Jean Wilder making clowns of the Pauh Jangg defence on 2 occasions. In the 88th minute the Leopards sealed their win after upcomming ball winning midfielder Jean Gopaul score from a corner by heading the ball into the Pauh Jangg net. After the goal the Leopards packed the bus with the head coach substituting Jean Gopaul for a defensive midfielder, Mohammad Jean-Louis. The Pauh Jangg side continued to bombard the Ziwani goal with shots but were unable to come back.

Jean Wilder won the man of the match award for his impressive performance against Pauh Jangg. His impressive performance has gained him attraction from Liga Malikiy giants Western United and Birnin Almalaki. In an interview when questioned about the attraction, Jean Wilder was quoted; "I am glad that I am gaining all this attraction but I would love to play outside Ziwana before I retire".

Ziwani manager Harry Ngonamo commented that he hope that Jean Wilder and other players should not dwell to much on this win but start focusing on the next much. He also praised the Pauh Jangg national team for being a great opponent.

Dol Solleh: Schoolboy Error Cost Us The Game

DAULAPURA: Dol Solleh insists Segama should not concede 4 first half goals at the hands of Eraman on the opening day of Melayu Archipelago Cup at Daulapura Stadium. The result was a blistering start for the newly form team.

Anton Mora scored Eraman's opening goal from the first corner kick of the game as early as the 2nd minute. Eraman scored 3 more goals in the first half through Milo Kaulawi, Perda Nasar and Kili Munawi.

Segama's poor performance in the first half prompted questions on the ability of Dol Solleh who had no experience as manager. Dol Solleh is Segama League all-time top scorer having played with 5 different clubs; Pelabuhan Gudang, Sungai Besar, Pasar, Kota Tua and Tanah Mengandung.

However, he insisted the result was harsh to his team as they dominated the second half. Segama scored 2 goals in the second half. Both goals were scored by Segama new striker sensation, Shafiq Mat.

"Four schoolboy error in the first half cost us the game. We have to admit our weakness and cut the number of mistakes in future matches," Dol said.

Segama will play neighbouring Samudera Darussalam in its second match at the same stadium.

Several villages in Singgahmata is currently undergoing prolonged economic crisis. The Prime Minister traveled by plane to see the misery of its people accompanied by his Chief of Staff.

During the visit, the Prime Minister saw many people suffering. The Prime Minister feels sorry. He said to his Chief of Staff, 'What if we fly lower and throw the money we received for voting Mitra and Soma at the people so that they can buy food and other necessities?'

'Sir, we are not getting the money from Mitra and Soma. They lost the vote.'

Vice President of the Anjung Batu Football Association (PERBAB) Brigadier Hussaini Ilham was unanimously elected as the President of the Anjung Batu League Commission [ABLeC] by a vote of the Board of Directors at the 2019 League Partner Meeting.

The selection of Brigadier Hussaini Ilham was made after the holders of the Anjung Batu League Commission [ABLeC] made up of 23 partners to amend the Constitution of the Anjung Batu League Commission [ABLeC]. It saw the status of the chairman being replaced by the president with the candidate for the highest seat among the members of the Board of Directors of the Anjung Batu League Commission [ABLeC] and not affiliated with any team or League club.

As a country long known for its football tradition, Eraman is one of the more successful country in the region when it comes to football competition. This time of the year, the country managed to win the host bids from fellow competitors of Pemecutan and Mitra and Soma.

The ceremony was held in the national venue of Daulapura Stadium, where Tun Senggalang Petara, the Bendahara of Eraman officially opened the 3rd MA Cup after a show by children carrying the participating countries' flags. The cheerful, yet tense atmosphere can be felt among the supporters and participating teams as the first match is started between Eraman and Segama, that is eventually won by Eraman with the score 4-2.

As a long-time participant of the MA Cup, Samudera Darussalam has no remarkable appearance. The only achievement that the 'Harimau Merah' may have got, is only as a regular participant of the event. However, with the reforms in the national team, perhaps previous judgements should be reserved to see any change that can be made in terms of performance.

During an interview in Daulapura Stadium, the Manager of National Team Leman Alamsyah stated that he gives the coaches the freedom to select the members for the country's national team from the various local leagues. From the composition, it can be seen that nearly all of the members come from the leagues of Samudera with few exceptions from Gadang, that decided to not participate in the event. The manager hoped that the current members will perform their best in the 3rd MA Cup, despite the tough opponents that they are going to face in Group A, such as the host itself.

"While we believe that there is nothing impossible, we also have to be realistic. Expectations and situation tend to change on field." He said, referencing to the shocking defeat of Baranil by Pemecutan, a new participant to the event. "Like what I've stated for many times, I don't want to burden the children with too many expectations. I just told them to try their hardest, whatever the result might be."

The captain of the national team, Budi Sentosa, said that he and his team mates are excited for the competition.
"It's going to be exciting for sure. We finally get the chance to meet and learn from our fellow players from the other countries. While it's hard to not feel nervous during the competition, I can say that we are going to give our best shot for our matches."

The 'Harimau Merah' is scheduled to face Segama on the second day of the MA Cup.

Defeat against Labuan-Cempaka

Lastly, the Oumaji football team lost to Labuan-Cempaka yesterday with a score of 0-1

At the beginning of the day, the Oumaji team led by Captain Hanl continued to suppress the Labuan-Cempaka defense but could often be defeated by the Opposition until the very last minute of the first half.

After the break, both teams attempted to score goals until finally in the 75th minute, one of the Labuan-Cempaka team members took advantage of Oumaji's defensive defenses and finally scored.

After losing to Labuan-Cemapaka, Hanl and his comrades again won the match by defeating Urawan 0-1.

The game started off fiercely between the two sides. Only in the 43rd minute, Chiten's Hatrick scored a goal for Oumaji.

In the second half, Urawan tries to break through Oumaji's defense but is often overwhelmed by Oumaji's defense.

However, Oumajish Coavh told all his teams not to eat with Euphoria victory over Urawan as there are still a lot of strong teams to watch.

The Flintstones still winless

Second games, The Flintstones still can't win. After drawing 3-3 with Hindu Raj, our squad has been trashed by Singgahmata 2-4. The wave of celebrations that swept the Medan Seroja Park is perhaps comparable to the ones in Puncakpura Stadium as the match of the day was concluded with Labuan and Cempaka's victory. Hundreds of gathering football enthusiasts cheered, hugged, and waved the green and yellow of the state flags as the two large screens in the park showed the final score, 0-1.
"It's so tense there." Jaka Kencana, 25, a football enthusiast recalled. "Our eyes were glued to the screens most of the time. We didn't want to miss any."

The successful last act of Rahman Tengah, 25 to kick the ball towards Tolol's goal ensured Labuan and Cempaka's victory. As a result, the Palembang FC player was hailed as a hero by both fans and team mates.

Despite the growing hope and confidence after the victory of its colleague the day before, the Samuderan national team didn't manage to achieve similar result and have to return with empty hand after a member of the opposing team managed to save a goal in the last minute.

"They have such strong determination." Muhammad Chen, 22, striker recalled. "After we broke through their formation for three times, they were still trying to break into ours. In the end, both of our fates were sealed after one of them managed to score a goal in the last minute."

"I guess it's a time for reflection for our team, primarily myself." The captain of the team, Budi Sentosa that also played as the goalkeeper stated. "It's a prove that we need more training to improve our skills and teamwork."

However, the head coach of the team, Peter Erickson that hailed from the city of Melaka, said that he still feel proud of his team.
"The boys managed to break into enemy's formation thrice; it's a significant change from the national team's performance in the previous matches. They have tried hardest in this match, but we are going to work harder to achieve our maximum potential."

Similar sentiments were also echoed by fans alike.
"Well, we know that Samudera Darussalam isn't exactly a shining beacon when it comes to football matches, if we were to speak honestly." Kiambang Wijaya, 36, chuckled. The lady is one of the many Samuderans who come to Eraman to watch the match. "However, we'll achieve nothing by criticizing their performance alone. At this time, they need our support, and that's what we are going to give them."
Beside her, her husband nodded.
"Many people decided to leave flowers and messages of support for our national team."
The husband, Abdurrahman Wijaya stated.

The match between the national teams of Samudera Darussalam and Segama was concluded with Segama's victory with the score of 3-4.

"We wish to congratulate the team of Segama for their victory. Eventhough it's exhausting for both of us, it's still an exciting match. We wish for a rematch with your team someday."
Budi Sentosa, the captain of the national team added at the end of the interview.

Norhalim Majid [44'] raced in from the left-wing to pick up an Iskandar Sulaiman Muda lay-off, before lifting the ball over Shandiland goalkeeper with a delightful left-foot chip from 12 yards.

Big Win on First Match
Soracana Islands 4-0 Libonesia

Arupura, Eraman - A sunny day blessed yesterday match when Soracana Islands has to face Libonesia in their first match. As a newcomer to the competition, Soracana Islands doesn't set much expectation from the match. Although the result shows otherwise. From the kick-off, Libonesian players advance to the center defense of Soracana Islands and made an attempt for a goal but the shot was missed. In the first 15 minutes, Libonesian seems to control the game. But thing get awry afterwards. Concentrate on offense made Libonesian lost control of its defense. And when Soracana Islands built up its counter attack after another failed attempt by Libonesian, it surely made Libonesian defense overwhelmed. With an assist by Kamraja, Agisa Janabandar successfully scored his first goal. 1-0 for Soracana Islands.

With the goal, Soracanian players seems to get a boost of confident. It makes them able to counter several attacks from Libonesian striker. A second goal conceive by Jandiyuha Sadakarsi in the last minute of first half. 2-0 for Soracana Islands. In the second half, Head Coach Yuhabani Padangadak use more defensive position after 2-0 lead. The situation where taken by Libonesian to continuously attacked Soracanian goal. One great attempt was made in 66' minute by Libonesian but unfortunately the shot was hit the crossbar. Soracanian was given a penalty shot after Kamraja was being tackled in minute 71'. Janabandar successfully took the shot and widen the lead to 3-0.

One last goal for Soracanian was made by Dusisani following a turmoil in front of Libonesian goal. With that last goal, Soracana Islands win the match by 4-0 and also temporarily lead Group B ahead of Labuan and Cempaka with a better goal difference. For the next match, Soracana Islands will meet Tolol who already played twice. The match will also be played in Arupura Stadium.

High Confidence for Second Match

Daulapura, Eraman - Pemecutan National Football Team is seen practicing following the second match that will be held later this evening. The players has high hope for their second match after big win in their opening match two days ago against Baranil. The match also become the highest goal scored in 3rd Melayu Archipelago Cup until this time with 9 goals total.

"We always hope for the best in every match. Although we have to be cautious because it is the host that we will face. It will be a tight and tough match. They have all the supporters for them," said Surya Agung Pramana, Head Coach of Pemecutan National Football Team.

Currently, Pemecutan is in second place with one win from one match. It has the same point as Segama who already played twice. While its rival, Eraman leads Group A with 6 points, a result of two wins from two matches.

Rama Karyadi, the Team Captain says,"The ball is round and anything could happen. We understand that it is an advantage for Eraman cause they are the host. They already know the condition and else. We just focus on playing and hope for the best. Although beating the host will be a great result for us."
