I know for certain what happened. someone with issues shot at a house of worship and a kebab shop and people died.

You can't tell me that isn't factual

Either an Islamic fundamentalist or a Nazi. I lean towards the former as well, but the latter has been showing their faces a lot more though.

Yeah either way one side of the political spectrum is going to take advantage of this to bash the other.

German Nazi groups these days are more focussed on assassinating more politicians, so if it was a Nazi I'd expect it to be a lone wolf sort of thing, not a "sanctioned operation", so to speak.

There are plenty of lone wolves who would jump at a chance to commit an attack like this, both of the radical Muslim and Nazi variety.

From the BBC article:
"The man came up to the doner shop, he threw something like a grenade, it didn't explode, and he opened fire with an assault rifle... I hid in the toilet," the witness told a TV reporter near the scene.

This is a tragedy, but at the same time, unintentionally hilarious.

Don't begrudge him that.
For me it's more about the failed grenade. Could almost be a comedy skit.

If two terrorist attacks were to just casually happen at the same place and time, it would probably be in Germany, so who knows
are you suggesting two people coordinated separate attacks?

Not necessarily. It could be coincidence. It could also be the same person attacking in multiple places.

From the information given, we know it's two suspects as one was already arrested and the other is on the run.

Yes, Muslims are notorious for firing shots at Döner Kebab shops in Germany.

They are, yes. And for leaving handgrenades. excuting the owners etc.
But how much of that is Islam and how much is just a desire to feel like a mobster is another question.

I will guess neonazi. For now.

We actually know the guy on the run isn't the guy who was arrested then?

I think there's a bit of a difference between "shooting up a synagogue" and "opening fire on a kebab shop that's near a synagogue".

Also, OP, what's YOUR opinion?

The BBC article says he tried to get into the synagogue first and failed. So the synagogue was the target and belongs in the header

The whole NSU affair kind of disagrees (note that the English wiki omits the issues with the German security apparatus, which was present at at least one murder with a Nazi-sympathiser/actual Nazi, and which tried really hard to ignore the NSU's existence while trying to pin narcotics crimes on the dead victims).
