Disclaimer Before we start: I don't want this RP to be a mess so please, if you want to enter the RP, telegram me. Also I am new to roleplaying so forgive me for some mistakes that I may do or say. This will also be put in my factbook later on so pretty cool huh? Thanks!

Background

Zawikhiztan has been a nation which is never apathetic towards its government. Zawikhiztan has suffered through the Khöj Szawfir under the UCPR as said here. Since becoming independent, two main political parties have been trying to control the nation, which lasted in a brief civil conflict known as the Hazammist Civil War as it occurred during the Hazamma Presidency. This war ended after only 5 days as the rebel camp surrendered after support from the populace dropped below 50%, however this has left the country split, as we can see that people are against the HAKZ (Communist) Government. In recent years, Zawikhiztan voted for a KRXZ Government in a tense election where they only won by 54 votes in Trejaviz which could've given the HAKZ 4 more seats and a small majority,but was given to the KRXZ securing them a parliamentary majority.the situation calmed down however because the HAKZ admitted defeat. After a few months, allegations of graft and corruption among the KRXZ-ran Government were released causing mass protests, a Military Takeover and Snap Elections. Below is the Results of the Snap Elections. (Number means how many seats in the RMM(Ranodüj Millij Məžlis))

Problem
After the transmission of all results, High Ranking Military-officials were dismayed at the results and ordered their troops into the Capital in Oktomonbereyan. Seeing a Coup Imminent, the Police and loyal soldiers together with civilians blocked All Bridges and roads whilst protesters aligned with the coup would stop them and would help the military. Sporadic fighting occurred throughout Zawikhiztan prompting a declaration of Martial Law and A civil war is imminent. The Coup was declared over after protesters successfully blocked the Conspirators from entering the Capital. Zawikhiztan is still in a tense state with a media blackout and the Generals, disloyal to the new Government planning a new Coup. Protests for the KRXZ to return have been happening only to be thwarted by HAKZ supporters and GZ (Gandërmikh Zowikë).

Update 1, 10/4/2019, the Start

It appears that a media blackout has been ordered by the government throughout Zawikhiztan, as the nation heads further and further down into destruction.Riots have been occurring for weeks now and many buildings in and around the capital have been destroyed

A rebellion has been rumored to form around the Central Mountains near the forest. MRJhZ Convoys have been ambushed by Bandits near Carievsko, the first incidents since 2007. Protesters have also been ambushed by Military forces causing the protesters to die and for more to join causing more chaos and destruction around Zawikhiztan. The Government of neighboring Svobodnaia has been supporting the protests and some say that guns will be coming soon. Zawikhiztan is in a very tense situation, schools have been suspended indefinitely and curfews have been placed. WiFi has been shut down and Nuclear Information becomes locked down. Martial Law and a State of Emergency has been declared, no side is willing to bow down to the other. Large protests, with similar goals with the Oktomonbereyan Riots have started in Ahvazanjarja, Zawikhiztan's former Royal Capital and the Second Largest City.

Riots here have been occurring for days now as security forces and loyal supporters of the HAKZ Government clash with them.

The War Starts

The Rumors that Svobodnaian arms have been smuggled into the hands of the protesters and rioters were actually true as Rioters opened fire on Military Positions in Ahvazinjarja. The Zawikh Military, only working for their defense as one of their men was shot, retaliated by bombing Ahvazanjarja. This led to the riots turning into a rebellion. Zawikhiztan is now engulfed in a civil war between the HAKZ Government, KRXZ Rebels, Islamic Militants and Viput Militiamen. Good Luck! [More sides may spawn] Good Luck!

The Sides

The current situation as of 10:54 10/5/2019(DD/MM/YYYY) (1 day real life time = 1 Month)

Various Provinces, the Military stationed in those areas have broke away the central government, however the Government is still numerically superior and is still well-armed and well trained. The Central Government has declared that the government will not allow any disloyalty and starts trying the governors of these provinces in absentia. Radical Islamic elements in Zawikhiztan have also risen up and certain areas have fallen to the Islamists causing a mass exodus of Christians prompting the Creation of the Kruwaniya Brigades which caused a mass exodus of Muslims from those areas. Zawikhiztan is in a state of utter Chaos as the Rebels and the Government try to take over the country, the only stable thing is Viputszia and the fact that they are still stable as the Autonomous Government there managed to control its troops and will rejoin the winning side of the war unless it is not the HAKZ Government and the KRXZ Government

Update 1

Members of the Airforce loyal to the Government have been shelling Rebel Positions in Ahvazanjarja damaging some of Zawikhiztan's former Royal Capital lightly. Government forces have been said to have been planning an assault on Ahvananjarja to retake the city and the Trei Haviz Province. Pro-Government Jawizi Militiamen have also assaulted Rebel Positions in Nov Jawizikečan also taking its capital pushing the rebels out. Reports have also came out that the Governor of Tulguur has been assassinated and that the province has fallen to the Rebels. Islamist forces have also taken Käragatsz, the capital of Tvartev Province causing a mass exodus of christians. Reports from Rebel sources have said that they are going to assault terrorist positions in and around Masunk City to retake the city and to provide security. Reports have also surfaced from Kruwaniya-controlled Arotainikajan that Muslims have been massacred en-mass when found by rebels causing great anger among most Zawikh Muslims. Government Forces have taken most of the outskirts of Ahvazinjarja and heavy fighting has erupted in the city. The rest of the rebels in Trei Haviz have surrendered to the Government. Ahvazinjarja has been heavily damaged due to the fighting and many civillians have been killed as Air Raids by the government become more common. The rebel pocket in Nov Jawizikečan has been pushed back to Makhlufia as Government Forces and the Jawizi Militia push them back across provincial lines.

Rebel Forces have split under the Civillian Pro-Democracy KRXZ and a Military Authoritarian faction. Rebel Forces have taken many villages from the Islamists in their Southern Pocket as they retake Masunk City from the Terrorists. The Kruwaniya Brigades have also gained land. The Northern Islamists have been able to take advantage of the rebel split by taking most of the Nikkov Border with Zawikhiztan helping their cause. Reports are coming that Kruwaniya Forces Razed villages to the ground.

Update 2.5

Tulkh Forces have mutinied in the Rebellion and have aligned themselves with the Communist HAKZ after KRXZ Generals have been allegedly mistreating Tulkh Rebels saying that they are lower-class compared to Zawikhs. This greatly angered the Tulkhs who want a return to the Equal Treatment they received with the HAKZ Government. The two main rebel forces have been fighting among themselves on who to align with, the CPDF or the AIFZ. The Government also warned that they will use Nukes if necessary but analysts think that this is unlikely because it will destroy Zawikhiztan's Reputation

President Ramid Hayatyan has been killed whilst negotiating with the White Forces! Authorities claim that he was transferred to the hands of the Islamists and was tortured before being hung!

The Government is now negotiating with the Republican People's Forces angering Zawikh Christians meaning the Kruwaniya Brigades will get more members. The Government is not blocking every road into rebel territorry and is bombing every vehicle passing through rebel roads and bombing farms in rebel-held areas. This would make the Government hated among the rural population.

Taking into account the recent turn of events in the Zawikh civil war, the loyal government of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Majapahit, in accordance with the Empire's foreign policy, wishes to announce that we firmly CONDEMN the brutal measures taken by the Zawikh central government, led by the Socialist Revolutionary Party (HAKZ). These cruel, barbaric, and unnecessary actions include destroying a village inhabited by many of their own innocent and unarmed citizens, attacking civilian farms in rebel-held territories and the bombing of a school. We must mention that these measures are considered war crimes under international law.

The Zawikh government must realise that one of the core duties of a government is to ensure the well-being and defence of its people, and they clearly have done the opposite. Therefore, as of this announcement's publication, the Majapahit Empire hereby considers the HAKZ-led central government to be illegitimate. From this point on, the Majapahit Empire hereby only recognises the government led by the National Conservative Party (KRXZ) as the one true Zawikh central government, with Dr. Maxamed H. Rankhorovë as its leader. We believe that the KRXZ is the only faction able to install democracy and restore law and order in Zawikhiztan, as well as eliminate the threat of communism from the region once and for all.

Meanwhile, we have also observed the rise of radical Islamic militant group, Ansar al-Islam fi Zawikhiztan (AIFZ) led by Imam Mansur Alrahimov in the eastern and southeastern regions of Zawikhiztan, as well as the so-called Christian People's Defence Force (CPDF) led by Mr. Kruwaniya. We consider both of these religiously-driven groups to not only shatter the unity of Zawikhiztan, but also pose a significant threat to the well-being of the Zawikh people, as both the Islamists and "Kruwaniya Brigades" are no more than mere terrorists. This is proven by the fact that the AIFZ have destroyed churches without any logical reason, while the CPDF have massacred Zawikh muslims in the territory over which they claim control.

Consequently, the Majapahiti government urges that:
the HAKZ cease all their unlawful actions against their own people and surrender to the KRXZ government in order to prevent more innocent civilian casualties, and
the religious groups AIFZ and CPDF to also cease their actions and unite for a common cause: destroying the communist HAKZ government and reunite Zawikhiztan.
We have high hopes that all opposing parties in this conflict are able to realise how much damage they have caused to the lives of the people of Zawikhiztan. We also hope that all factions can put down their weapons and meet together to negotiate the future of the country through peaceful diplomacy. The Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Council, Dr. Aleikhan Shirvənzade has warned that the HAKZ Government will not bow down to anybody and that it promises real change that the revolution will not only focus with the Cities like Makyra or Oktomonbereyan but that the common worker will experience it too. The Situation in Ahvazanjarja has finally ended after Government Forces successfully stormed the ruins of the Ahvazanjarja City hall and the University. More than 7000 Rebels have surrendered to the government and rumors are spreading that the Government has been staging "Show Trials" and massacring them. The Government hasn't responded to these accusations. Negotiations between the RPF, and the HAKZ has completely broken down meaning no Peace will be happening anytime soon. Support from other Communist Nations have also been pouring in such as guns, tanks and other airplanes meaning this war will be a long, bloody war. The Internet is now back on but most social media sites are blocked. School has resumed to all HAKZ-Controlled Areas of the Republic, even in War-Torn Areas. The Government has ordered the students to wear casual clothes and not their uniforms as Rebels may use school uniforms to stop the soldiers from shooting them. The Government has been condemned by many religious leaders and reports are saying that Viputszia is planning to separate from the Republic if the HAKZ won't give them Autonomy.

Rebel Update 2
AIFZ has claimed full responsibilities for a carbomb attack in an Liberation Square in Oktomonbereyan which killed 14 people. The KRXZ, HAKZ, RPF and the VPLF has condemned this brutal and barbaric act. The Kruwaniya Brigades have said that they will massacre every single Muslim they find if they advance into Islamist Territory. The two extremist groups have been insulting eachother recently but the biggest insult to the AIFZ was when the Brigades were able to take out an entire pocket.

The RPF has decided to shell Nəzirivat in Hanszokmadar Province in a bid to rush to take Oktomonbereyan using shock and awe. Government sources say that these shells contain sarin agents and other bioweapons which the RPF has furiously decried as false information and outright lies. RPF forces have said that they are willing to negotiate to the Government if the Government are willing to give expanded rights to the new Military. The government has said no comments on this matter. Military supplies have also been coming to the RPF as the HAKZ-government reportedly faced opposition in the skies, something that the RPF has held proudly as 2 Fighters were delivered from an unknown source

The AIFZ has also taken the border regions in the Northwest with Nikkov and the Ubja-Ajub Fed. causing massive Christian evacuations in those areas.

The KRXZ Government has splintered into two again, those willing to negotiate and those who aren't. Even with this political instability among their leadership, the KRXZ has taken some land and has nearly encircled Rayaanbaatur City in Tulguur Province. They are shelling this town as we speak. The KRXZ has also taken some Islamist Pockets and has fought the Kruwaniya Brigades successfully when fighters tried to attack a KRXZ-led Refugee Convoy.

Update 4
Zawikh forces have been attacking and clashing with RPF forces in Makhlufia, this has caused any signs of a peace accord to wither between the two sides. The HAKZ Government has released a statement sating that they are planning to secure the Northeastern borders of Zawikhiztan, to show that they mean it, Government Bombers have carpet-bombed Rebel-Held areas and have shelled countless positions. In a bid to rid the Islamist Rebels out of the Mountains, the Government has been continuosly shelling their positions. Zawikh Forces have advanced in the Northeastern area at lighting speed, the Provincial Capital of Yərkhirje Province, Ratəstak has been bombed and shelled by Government Forces so much so that the Rebels were forced to withdraw, Crowds cheered the Advancing Government Forces as they believe the HAKZ is still the best choice even though their houses have been destroyed due to the fighting. The Government has promised to rebuild these cities after their "liberation". Government-held regions in Tulguur have withstood rebel advances and has stopped them from cutting off Rayaanbaatur. Talk has been spreading that if connection between the Main KRXZ-held Areas and the Northwestern Areas, the Northwesterners will opt to join the Islamists instead. Zawikhiztan is not in a Crisis anymore, this is now a civil war. Small Clashes between the Viputszian People's Police and the RPF has been rumored but not yet confirmed.

Due to the pain that has been causing the armed conflict that is occurring within the borders of Zawikhiztan we have decided to communicate officially with the government to express our condolences for the death of President Ramid Parjam Hayatyan. His death has been an act of indiscriminate violence against the government forces of a government elected by the Zawikh people, every act of legimitimad has lost meaning due to the murder of the head of the government, of that person who has the obligation to represent not only the country and to the state, but also to all zawikhs citizens.

We are aware that the presence of other nations may affect the events that occur within Zawikhiztan, this act of foreign interventionism is nothing more than an act of modern imperialism and hate against a government of communist-socialist roots. We do not consider ourselves communists or socialists, but the government of Dr. Genesis Favaloro is willing to help every nation that is being a victim of world imperialism.

In order to support Zawikhiztan, the bonaerensian government is willing to offer economic support (in the form of financing, food and military equipment), political support (in the form of granting political protection in Great Buenos Aires to HAKZ members whose life is threatened) and health support (in the form of bringing groups of doctors, nurses and specialized military to Zawikhiztan to protect the life of the civilian population). At the moment the government of the Great Buenos Aires offers this kind of help to Zawikhiztan, we guarantee that our commitment to the Zawikh people is strong as the glorious General San Martin, hero of our country. Rebel Update 3

The Northwestern KRXZ has surrendered to AIFZ, the AIFZ claims that this is a big victory for their cause. RPF-held areas were also seized by the Islamists causing a mass evacuation of Christians by the HAKZ Government, RPF and the Red Cross by helicopter to Oktomonbereyan. This has led to an expansion of support for the CPDF. Maj. Maxamed Nariczaian, angered at the KRXZ for this "treachery against freedom and democracy" has started making deals with Hristov Kruwaniya on jointly taking over against the "Islamist Republicans". In the south, the KRXZ has succeeded on eliminating islamist pockets and securing the area. CPDF Artillery have been targeting KRXZ and AIFZ Infrastructure, due to this, thousands have lost their electricity permanently until the civil war ends. Day by day, the rebels collapse due to infighting, will there be a end to this war with peace?

Update 5: Peace?

RPF leader, Maj. Nariczaian has surrendered to the HAXZ Government. The Government called this surrender a shock surrender, however analysts have been predicting this since the KRXZ surrendered its Northwestern lands to the AIFZ. KRXZ and RPF loyalists have dismissed the surrender calling it false and have joined the KRXZ-led Rebellion. The RPF has surrendered and along it has fallen most of Aw Wakhdanij, Mousavija and Yimərtisisgag. The HAXZ Government has released a statement saying that this is a great victory and a huge leap for peace and security in Zawikhiztan. Celebrations have erupted in Oktomonbereyan after this news.

The HAXZ Government has started an all-out attack on the Northern Islamists taking most of the Northeast, the AIFZ Resistance has all but collapsed and the Islamists have finally surrendered to the HAXZ in the North and the KRXZ in the South. Kruwaniya's Forces, angered at the fact that the KRXZ has accepted Islamist Volunteers in their ranks have pledged allegiance to the HAXZ Government. The Government has called this a clear victory and that the war is over finally. Viputszia has agreed to rejoin the Zawikh Nation. The Government has enacted harsh punishments on the islamists and have indiscriminately executed them. Fearing a Christian Radical Movement forming, the Government has decided to send Kruwaniya's Fighters into "re-education". The Government is now projected to win as the KRXZ is now (again) experiencing infighting. Crowds have gathered and have celebrated in Oktomonbereyan following these developments and rebuilding has started in most of the country. The Red banner and the Internationale can be seen and heard in Oktomonbereyan and many say that it will stay there for a long time. Celebrations and Riots have erupted in Viputszia, Nationalists have been calling for an armed rebellion and so the Government has placed Viputszia under Martial Law meaning those who are found suspicious may be executed immediately.

HAXZ Forces have been continuously shelling and advancing in the Z87, Z34 and Z62 Highways, Zawikh Army forces have been advancing from 3 sides and are threatening to cut off KRXZ forces. Reports have surfaced that whole KRXZ divisions have surrendered to the Government and that the KRXZ is now considering surrender. Zawikhiztan is now seeing the collapse of its rebels thanks to the shock that the RPF surrendered. Celebrations have erupted all around the HAXZ controlled area. The Zawikh Airforce has reported to the National Radio Station to warn people from the following cities to flee to the countryside or to HAXZ-controlled areas as they will start carpet-bombing. Among these cities are: Rədovat, Ovəsind and Kharimvand.

After weeks of heavy fighting, the rebels have been driven out of the countryside and into the mountains, large pockets of rebel forces have surrendered or have been crushed. Peace has been restored throughout most of Zawikhiztan, although a small-scale insurgency led by remnants of the KRXZ Government Loyalists and Tulkh Bandits is still ongoing. Cross-border attacks from KRXZ Rebels in bases in Ubja and Ajub have become quite common causing many chief advisers in the military to bomb or install friendly governments in those countries if attacks dont stop. The HAXZ Government has declared victory and has started consolidating its power, reports have surfaced that ministers in the previous government has disappeared and that the government is pouring propaganda through schools. Peace has returned and Life has returned to normal in Zawikhiztan in the end of the civil war, an estimated 54 Trillion RZ in damages have been reported and at least 200,000 people dead, many more wounded or missing.
