For many, the Atrescan transfer window, and by extension, the LegaUno, begins too late in the year to keep track with the leagues of other Asuran footballing nations. The other two big leagues in Asura, Midrasia's Liga Premiere and Navack's Superliga, both began around five weeks ago. But for AS Rocca fans, that problem has been swung out of the window following the club's announcement this morning that they would be signing Atrescan international full-back Arsalan Mahdavi from 1963 Troping for a fee estimated to be around 16 million ducats. The transfer comes after fans made it apparent that the club needed to invest in better defensive measures to compliment the young Marco Baresi at left-back. It is suspected Mahdavi will slot in at right-back for the Rocca squad, leaving Baresi to his usual position.

Mahdavi made it clear he wanted to leave the Troping-based club at the beginning of the transfer window, having spent four years there after a transfer from now-20th-placed club Salisano. Mahdavi had a great spell at the club which earned him multiple international callups, particularly for the 2019 Copa d'Aeia, although Atresca was knocked out in the group stages of the tournament. He contributed to the club's surprise 2016 top 4 finish, beating out Atrescan giants Aleanto Calcio 2-1 on the final match of the season to secure the spot and the club's entry to the Asuran League for the 2016-17 season. Safe to say, he is one of Atresca's most enticing full-backs - and Rocca have snatched him for an absolute steal of a fee.

The AS Rocca administration and board have been looking for an increase in talent to help boost the club following its qualification for the Champions Cup, where they were placed in Group B along with Athletic Tsuen Wan, Locomotif Lukubwa and Korgorus FC, leading to the increase in the transfer budget this season for Rocca to a club-record-breaking 120 million ducats, cashing out on players such as Pablo Varabeno and Vedasto Arico to bolster their midfield presence, both going forward and tracking back. The transfers have been met with generally good reception from fans, who are excited to see the new arrivals mesh with the existing front three at Rocca, who combined scored 61 goals last season, consisting of Vidorian winger Dominico Perera, Atrescan winger Eustacio Canto, and Liidurian striker Jurgen Kask.

Coming in the final week of the transfer window, AS Rocca have certainly cemented their position at the pinnacle of Atrescan football with the new signing, and have demonstrated their dedication to remaining at the top of the footballing heirarchy. However, it still remains to be seen whether Mahdavi will flourish at right-back like he did at his usual position on the left. Despite right-back being his secondary position, he has only played a fraction of his 418 total appearances in the position, conceding an average of 2.16 goals per game while playing there. Despite this, Mahdavi is an excellent pickup for a cheap fee and will undoubtedly benefit the Rocca side going forward.

0': We're underway at the Gylnebyen Stadion!
1': Lhedvin looking to really go at Aleanto in this first half. Hammer and Ordonez are really pressing the Aleanto defenders relentlessly.
2': GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! LHEDVIN! A mistake by defender Lucano, who tripped over the ball after a pass from Varri, allowed Hammer through on the left. The winger then fed the ball through to Mattieu Neri to set the score to 1-0 in the second minute!
5': The early goal from Lhedvin looks to have made Aleanto a little anxious. Varri is looking to calm down the shaken defence as the team look to build from the back.
10': CHANCE FOR BELLINI! But the dipping shot went just wide. Lhedvin goalkick.
13': Some nice play from Aleanto now as they look to pass it around the Lhedvin press. The stripes can't really break into the final third though.
17': A brilliant tackle on Holstad by Mossing sees Lhedvin break away. What can they do with it though?
18': CHANCE FOR NERI! But Varri is there to stop the attack. Corner to Lhedvin.
19': GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! LHEDVIN! ROBIN BOISSELOT! The corner swung in by Ordonez meets the head of the Lhedvin defender. Varri falls to the ground though. There are appeals of a foul to the referee. Looks like they're checking the goal.
20': The goal is cleared by the referee and will stand. Appeals by the defenders continue and Varri receives a Yellow Card for dissent.
25': It must be remembered that Lhedvin came into this match as the lowest finishing team last season having ended the season 6th in the Superliga. They certainly don't look the weaker side here though. Despite Aleanto having the vast majority of possession, Lhedvin are capable of inflicting major damage through their rapid counter-attacks.
30': Shot by Palladino! But the low-rolling ball is easily scooped up by keeper Bruer.
34': Despite their dominance of the ball, Aleanto seem to be getting very little from this match. Manager Gjermund Nordmark will have a lot of head-scratching to do before half-time to break down the stalwart Lhedvin defence.
39': ABBATELLO! But his shot is parried away for a corner. The striker managed to bypass the Lhedvin defence with some skilful dribbling. Can Aleanto take advantage of their corner though? Varri looks determined to pounce.
40': Bruer commandingly deals with the corner, catching the ball in mid-air. The away fans look to be booing what they see as timewasting by the goalkeeper, but their cries appeared drowned out by the chanting of the jubilant home fans.
45': Half-time. Lhedvin FK 2-0 Aleanto Calcio

SECOND HALF
45': The second half is now underway here in Berke, as Lhedvin lead 2 goals to nil. One change at half-time as La Torre replaces Varabeno in the Aleanto midfield. This is a change that many could see coming as the midfielder has been rather lacklustre. Injecting some more creativity into the side appears to be Gjermund's plan.
52': SHOT BY ABBETELLO! Wow, an acrobatic save from Bruer is all that stood between Aleanto and getting one goal back. That was a tremendous save!
57': The Aleanto attacks seem to be coming thick and fast now. 3 shots in quick succession by each striker has seen Lhedvin place 11 players behind the ball, defending with all their might. Surely it's only a matter of time before Aleanto score one.
62': PENALTY TO ALEANTO! Bruer brings down Abbetello in the box and is awarded a Yellow Card for his mistake. This is AC's chance to get back in the game.
63': ABBETELLO STEPS UP... Aaaand Misses! The ball bounces off of the crossbar and into the stands behind! He will be ruing that opportunity for a while.
67': Aleanto's morale seems to have dropped after the penalty miss. Lhedvin seeing a lot more of the ball now.
72': Lhedvin switching the play quite easily across the field. Aleanto's midfield looks to have switched off.
74': GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! LHEDVIN! Game over. Jurgen Hammer drives the ball down the wing, cuts inside and lets loose a spectacular shot that lands in the top corner.
78': Aleanto look completely deflated. I'm not sure anybody expected the game to go this way when the teams were drawn together in the group.
82': Varri looks to be playing in midfield now, the only player looking to create attacking movements for Aleanto is a defender. His surge forward is eventually cut out by Lizancos.
85': Lhedvin on the move now, but the Navish team now look to move the ball around the back. A chorus of boos reign out from the away fans.
90': Two minutes of added time.
90+2': Full time. A surprise to be sure for Lhedvin FK, but i'm sure its one they would welcome. Aleanto thoroughly beaten by 3 goals. They will certainly be looking for revenge when the two teams meet again at La Rizzi.

22': A free kick from Beno is curled....but saved by Raggio! A great stop by the Atrescan keeper who parries it to Dufour, who safely gets it clear.

19:00: Both teams have now arrived ahead of the match and are beginning warmups on the pitch. News from both camps does not indicate any major changes on either side, though on an occasion like this both teams will be looking to keep their opponents guessing.

It's at the group stage where all that goes out the window, teams turn up the wick and their opponents need to bring out their best performances.
2': Houlding meanwhile finished their group in second place on 11 points. Though they were pitted against the formidable Almiaro, the defending champions, who gave them a right tonking netting five against the Navish side. Manager Marcoux and his players will know that they cannot afford a similar display tonight against the mighty stripes of Atresca.
7': Some nice play from Aleanto. Holstad, now Blaise on the overlap and....ABBATELLO! But his header is just wide of the post.

15': That early goal has really gotten the home fans going now. The noise in here is deafening! Houlding will face an uphill struggle from here, but there is still plenty to play for.
18': Houlding need to get a grasp on this game fast, the momentum is all Aleanto right now and the crowd are roaring this team on to get another. They can smell blood. Counter through Varabeno, SLIP BY KHOURI, VARABENO IS THROUGH! But his shot is wide of the mark. He did all the hard work, and that magical run deserved a better finish.
22': Foul by Uller who is shown a yellow card for his trouble. Houlding need to get a grip of this game fast. I know the manager earlier talked about the crowd here and the aura this stadium gives off, but right now they look dumbfounded by it. They will be hoping for half-time to come as soon as possible.
24': Free-kick driven in by Bianchi, onto the HEAD OF VARRI! OFF THE POST! Aleanto coming so close, but to no avail. Whilst they are controlling this match now, they will need to get another to put it to bed. They may live to regret their missed chances.
31': Houlding finally have a sustained spell of possession, their first of the match believe it or not. Boos reign around the arena whenever a blue shirt has the ball. Now what can Sogge do down the left?
32': Now Mac Or who drives at the Aleanto defence! Sprints past Varri! MAC OR! But the defender uses his superior pace to catch back up and stick in a fine tackle. Mac Or appeals for a corner but the referee indicates the last touch came off him. Goal kick.
42': Half-time approaching. It's been pretty much all Aleanto this half. Houlding haven't shown all too much, but their manager will want to get his players into the dressing room, get them refocused and re-energised. There's still plenty of time left, and Aleanto are only one goal ahead.

SECOND-HALF

45': We're now underway for the second half, as Houlding trail Aleanto Calcio by a goal to nil at La Rizzi. The rain has just started to come down here, and by god is it pouring. The wind is picking up as well, we'll have to see if this affects the match in any way.
52': Houlding seem to have come out this half with a little more fight, they are pressing a lot better, though Aleanto are still holding onto most of the ball.

Marcoux leading Høulding in the 1-1 draw against Aleanto

Høulding - After a series of bad results in the Navish Superliga and a disappointing draw against Aleanto Calcio in the Champions Cup, Høulding’s Midrasian head coach Tyson Marcoux is contested by fans and has chances of not lasting until the end of the Navish Superliga.

After losing NSL’s 2018-2019 title to Bersk in the goal difference, Marcoux’s ideas of playing football with the Millionaires of Hvolsvøller have been disliked by the fans, as the team shows no offensive power.

Since Marcoux signed with Høulding, his defensive 4-1-4-1 scheme and reactive style of playing has become a mark in the clubs D.N.A..

In 2019, Høulding has their worst start in the decade, lingering in the 9th position by week 12, behind teams like Besborg and Asterborg.

On top of that, Høulding’s performance against Aleanto Calcio concerned fans, as the Millionaires escaped from the defeat due to Aleanto’s bad accuracy in the first half. Aleanto drew the first blood with Giordiano Palladino after a poor clearance by Hallgrim Lyngstad. Høulding played hearthwholy and found the leveling goal in a free kick by Cuirpthean midfielder Daín mac Ór.

Fans are unpleased with Høulding’s performances throughout the season. Complaints regarding bad usage of players and unfavorable formation are the most heard among the supporters.

Marcoux is now in dire straits and has his future on the hands of the second leg game against Aleanto Calcio, at Chiraq Arena, match valid for Champion’s Cup round of 16.

CLAR ON THE MOVE?

Speculation surrounds Midrasia National team manager Pere Clar with rumours that he may leave the post

Midrasia National Football team manager Pere Clar may be leaving his current job either before or at the end of the year according to a number of reports linking him with moves to a number of Asuran clubs. Speculation has surrounded Clar following comments he made after Midrasia's 2019 Copa d'Aeia victory which suggested he may be "looking for a new challenge". A spokesperson for Mr Clar has denied rumours linking Clar with a number of clubs, but suggested the manager will be "weighing up his options" before taking the next step in his career.

Clar is a seasoned manager having great success with FC Benedormo, Internationale de Bordeiu, and Lhedvin FK. However, Clar's crowning achievement would have to be winning the Copa with Midrasia this year. He has always stated that it was his "dream" to win the trophy during his career, and after coming so close in 2018, his hard work finally paid off in the following campaign. With the Copa won however, there seems nowhere else to go for Clar and the national team besides defending their title, though if recent press conferences are anything to go by, Clar has little enthusiasm for waiting seven months to go again. Despite this, the Midrasian Football Federation say they are "confident" Clar will sign the three-year contract extension offered to him in September.

Of rumours linking Clar with a move away from the Stade Nationale those with the most traction seem to be links with a return to Internationale, to Navish side Houlding, and Atrescan side US Monte Sorra. A return to Internationale seems a very likely move, given Clar's connections with the club, having won two league titles in 2009 and 2010, as well as the Copa de Mydra in 2011 and 2013. However, current manager Leandro Profeta continues to cling on for the time being, with the board allegedly giving the manager until the end of the year to turn things around. Rumours also appear to be linking Clar with a move to Houlding SK who are currently in 9th in the Navish Superliga and delivering a dire away performance in the Champions Cup, which was only saved by a Mac Or free-kick to end 1-1. Whether Clar would want a return to Navack so soon after winning the Superliga with Lhedvin FK in 2017, remains to be seen.

The most concrete rumours however, seem to be those linking Clar with a move to relegation-threatened US Monte Sorra within the Atrescan Lega Uno. Monte Sorra have endured a torrid start to their campaign after the sale of star player Adrian Dauda to Ibbené. The club currently lie in 17th place on 13 points. The team were also unceremoniously thrown out of the Champions Cup finishing bottom of their group with zero wins and only 1 draw. (Bare in mind that this group contained Lentini University and FK Zaliznychnyk 1924.) Manager Tom Bruland left his post on November 15th and it is alleged that the club are looking to find a replacement as soon as possible. It is speculated that Clar would prefer a move to Atresca where he has never managed before in a bid to be the first manager to win a hat-trick of titles in Asura's three major leagues.

Only time will tell what's next for Clar, though wherever he goes, you can expect big things.

19:00: Good evening! We are live now from Gylnebyen Stadion, in Berke! Today's game is the closer of week 13 and will see Hudenholm facing strong home side of Lhedvin in the most awaited game of the week!
19:30: Lhedvin comes from a shocking loss in the Champions Cup against Victoria FC and are now looking for redemption in front of their fans. The team is low-strenghted, with only five original starting XI on the field. Manager Bent Christensen had a hard time chosing his player for this match.
19:45: Hudenholm, on the other hand, come with the best they have. Definetly title contesters, Marco Fidanza elevated the Dragon's level in the competition. From last season's 8th place to title race, what a moment for Hudenholm!
19:50: Good opponents bring good crowd! The stadium in Gylnebyen is almost at its full capacity for the game tonight! Weather could be better; wind is strong and there may be rain during the course of the game. Teams are now on the field and aligned for the national anthem.

FIRST-HALF

0': And we're underway for the closing match of week 13! This is NSKB live from Berke, the great city of colors! Lhedvin's out with the ball.
1': Lhedvin has the ball back with Rolf Moen, who passes to the night's captain Viktor Lizancos. Hudenholm pressures with Madsen. Lizancos passes it to Andreas Bryhn, who kicks it forward, finding Neri. Neri heads the ball over the left... AND WHAT A RUN FROM AUGUST DAHL! He steps on the ball, GREAT FOOTWORK, prepares for the cross... but my holy sun what a terrible cross. The ball went all the way to Blåby Stadion.
3': Janssen has the goal kick, but he decides to pass it over the left, where Abraham Amanuel is. He passes to Mac Óda, who delivers it to Bertelsen. Bertelsen gives it back to Amanuel who sends a loafted pass all the way to Hildrum on the right side. The 19 years old attacker has the ball and KICKS IT BETWEEN LARSSON'S LEGS. He is on the run now... prepares for a cross... ball is over the far post and... IIIIIIIIIISA LAURITZEN WITH A BRILLIANT SAVE. Neri fired a violent header against the home goal, but Lauritzen was there to prevent an away goal.
6': Hudenholm is keeping possession in the mid-field. The two defensive mid-fielders have been the gears of this great attack throughout the season for the Dragons.
10': Amanuel with the ball. He carries it through the middle with no one to challange him. WHAT A GREAT PASS TO FINOCCHIO ON THE RIGHT! He enters the goal area... AND FIRES IT IN, WHAT A GOAL! Great vision by Amanuel, and what a strike by Finocchio. Lhedvin's defense was sleeping and did not notice Finocchio's entering the area. Lhedvin 0 - 1 Hudenholm.
12': Lhedvin is out with the ball. Neri passes it back to Lizancos, who opens it wide on the right with Ordóñez, but Amanuel is there to intercept the ball and kick it out. Home throw in.
13': Rani Nahas with the throw in. Terrible throw is intercepted by Bertelsen, who turns the game all way to the right with Lagarde. Lagarde has an avenue ahead of him, finds a cross... and is sent out for a corner by Bryhn.
15': Madsen on the corner. A bad low cross is intercepted by Stennes in the goal area line... BUT AMANUEL APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE TO STEAL THE BALL FROM STENNES! Stennes runs after the young left-back... and he is down! Foul for Hudenholm on the left attacking corner. Amanuel is on the ball.
18': Amanuel on the free kick. He has no angle to send it on the goal, so we can expect a cross. The ref whitsles... Amanuel... AND Ó COILLE IS THERE! GOAL, HUDENHOLM! Great cross by Amanuel finds Ó Coille free by the penalty mark, who fires a header on the lower right corner of Lauritzen, who jumped to the left. Lhedvin 0 - 2 Hudenholm
20': Wrong pass by Lizancos! Mac Óda takes the ball and passes it to Finocchio. Finocchio opens the game on the right with Lagarde, who sends it to Hildrum. Hildrum cuts inside and send a through pass on the right to overlapping Lagarde, who crosses it to the far post... but is deflected by Rolf Moen. The ball is back with Madsen, Madsen to Amanuel, Amanuel to Bertelsen, Bertelsen with the low cross... and sent out to a corner by Moen again.
24': Madsen on the corner. He crosses it on the far post... AND Ó COILLE AGAIN! WHAT A NIGHT! GOOOOOOOOAL, HUDENHOLM! THEY ARE ON FIRE! Lhedvin's defense just can't stop this fast pacing attack! 29': Another wrong pass sees Hudenholm attacking fast! Hildrum carries it on the right, cuts inside and passes to Lagarde, on an overlap run. Larsson and Dahl are on Lagarde, who finds Alsaker a few meters back. The center back controls the ball, looks up and crosses it all the way in the area... WHAT A SAVE! Lauritzen with a great save after Leandro Adrian's header BUT THE BALL IS LEFT OVER TO BERTELSEN IN THE GOAL AREA! He brings the ball to his right foot and... IT IS IN! IT IS IN! IT IS IN! 18:30: Both teams have now arrived ahead of the match and are beginning warmups on the pitch. News suggests a change in formation from Houlding following the departure of their previous manager. They now play a 4-2-3-1. Whether those two holding midfielders will help them tonight remains to be seen.
19:00: Team news from Aleanto suggests that Abbatello has not recovered from a knock he picked up on the weekend, with his spot being taken tonight by Hidalgo up top.
19:15: Social media jokes that Aleanto player Lucano will be playing two positions tonight after Hidalgo was mistakenly tweeted out to be playing in the number 19 jersey tonight by Midrasian sports magazine Demarrer.
19:20: A packed crowd here tonight at the Chiraq Motor Arena, though a lot of pressure will be on both teams to get a result tonight. Perhaps moreso on Houlding though after they strangely looked to replace their manager right before such a crunch Champions Cup draw.

FIRST-HALF

0': We're away here in Houlding as the home team kick-off for what is sure to be an intense 90 minutes!
6': A reminder that if the scores stays as it is now, Houlding will advance on away goals after that blinding free-kick scored by Mac Or at La Rizzi the last time these two teams met. Whether this will see Houlding seek to sit-back and preserve their lead remains to be seen. The attacking momentum however, is likely to be with Aleanto as they seek to make right their missed chances from last week.
11': So far Aleanto seem to be on the front foot. Some nice work from the wingers Bellini and Holstad. Hidalgo seems to be pressing quite well, but his touches haven't been that good so far. Probably just due to a lack of playing time. Aleanto will hope that he gets better as the game goes on.
15': SHOT BY BELLINI! Ooof! That was closer than expected! A speculative shot by the winger floats just inches away from the crossbar, looked like Kross had it covered though.
18': The Houlding manager Jørgen Haug appears to be wildly gesticulating on the sidelines. Clearly his team is not performing to the standards he expects. Long time to go in this game though. As we saw last week Aleanto started far better, but in the end, Houlding came out with arguably the better result.
21': Houlding on the ball now. Driving forward with Khouri. The team seem to be going a lot more direct than their predecessors under Marcoux. Now with Sogge, GOES LONG TO LUCCHESE WHO'S LURKING IN THE BOX!

25': Jørgen Haug the new Houlding manager. Seems to have gotten a good reception by the home fans. Do you think he has a long term future here, or is he just a stop-gap solution? Well, I think it depends on how it goes over the next few games. Win this game, and well, everybody will want him at the wheel doing his thing.

88': Surely that is game now. Houlding look distraught. Aleanto now look to have all ten remaining men behind the ball. Even Palladino has joined them in their own half. There may be a big chunk added on though for the red card though.
89': I just want to talk about the Houlding manager, his team has played quite well tonight haven't they? Yes, but I still don't know why they sacked Marcoux before this game. He got a result at La Rizzi, a very tough place to go. If anything his defensive plan was the right thing to do, and if anything. I think it was probably the best thing to do tonight as well. The fans may not have liked it, but I think this attacking, direct style has played into Aleanto's hands more than anything. Its allowed them to counter, and get chances on goal.
90': There will be five minutes of added time. Five minutes. But with Aleanto's two away goals. It would take a miracle for Houlding to score three in five minutes. Stranger things have happened though...
90+1: Houlding are throwing everything at it, even the kitchen sink. But Aleanto's low block is packing the penalty area with striped shirts. There is no room for the blues to breath in there.
