The Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune wrote:NS Name: The Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune
Name of Character: Cmdt. Domingo Trinidad Santa Lorca Pablo Diego Juan David Andres Pedro Luis Jorge Xavier Dante Javier Ruiz y Garcia
Age: 45
Sex: Male
Planet of Origin: Dorado, a Feudal World
Years of Service: 27
Personal Weapons: Locke-Pattern Bolt Pistol
Rapier style Power Sword

Personality: Domingo is the typical spaniard. He's cocky, arrogant, and primarily self serving. It just so happens that he has a higher loyalty to Eldoro than himself. He has a bad case of spanish honor, mostly because he has found himself in command of the pride and joy of Dorado within the Imperium. He does feel a degree of empathy towards his men and he won't blindly charge a WAAGH!, but a slight against his honor will not be tolerated in most cases.

Bio: Domingo was born into a noble family on the feudal world of Dorado, in the capitol of Ciurilliante, which bustled with activity and spices from across the world. As a youth he paid homage to the Mejorey, worshiped Eldoro, and studied the military arts like most noble youth on the planet. Excelling ahead of his classmates, Domingo was brought together along with thousands of other bright minds from across the planet to become one of Eldoro's Chosen, a Conquisto. Conquisto were famed across Dorado, chosen by Eldoro himself and able to travel around the world in seconds, gifted with weapons from the angels.

The first thing they did with the newest recruits of the Conquistos was shatter their illusion of reality. Eldoro was a being known as the Emperor, and while his divinity was not in question, the Imperial Creed was a far different faith than the worship of Eldoro. The Conquistos were not defenders of just Dorado, but all of the galaxy, a vast cluster of stars and planets. The angelic weapons seen rarely in Ciurilliante were in fact just guns far more advanced than anything on the planet. Owing to his intelligence and prowess with a blade, Domingo was commissioned as a lieutenant to command a platoon of his fellow green soldiers. Dorado as a feudal world has little need of a PDF, instead offering it's men as a tithe to the Imperium and the Astra. Thus, Domingo and his men were quickly sent into the furnace of combat.

Against all odds, Domingo and his men were usually among the survivors of when the Conquistos encountered Orks and Eldar. Seeing success, Domingo rose up through the ranks, rising from Alférez, to Teniente, to Capitan, to Commandante. He now is in control of a whole regiment of Conqusitos, with eyes on rising even higher within the Militarum Regimentum.

NS Name: The Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune
Name of Regiment: The 34th Conquistos
Commanding Officer: Cmdt. Domingo Ruiz y Garcia
2nd in Command: 1st Capitan Lucia Santos y Cardiel
Planet of Origin: Dorado
Founding Date: 650.M37
Type of Regiment: Heavy Infatry, mix of Mortar units and typical Infantry
Number of Guardsmen: 80,000

Regimental Bio: The Conquistos were originally founded to deal with a problem. The Redemption Crusades were applying massive strain upon the Empire's normal recruitment worlds, and soon it became neccisary to start drawing a man power Tithe from the various Feudal, Death, and Feral worlds of the Imperium. Dorado made an ideal target. A large world with roughly 60% of it covered in land, split between two large super continents divided by a barrier sea, Dorado was particularly advanced for a Feudal World, lying roughly in the age of colonization technology wise and more importantly it held a strong belief in the Emperor, under the name Eldoro. It had a massive population, mostly split between the Doradans, natives of the Southern continent and the planetary rulers, and the Estines, subjugated northern natives that provided the labor backbone of the planet.

Contacting the Doradan Mejorey, the inner circle of the Doradan nobility were brought back into the Imperium's fold. From among the best young soldiers of each generation, Regiments of Conquistos would be recruited, the "Chosen of Eldoro" to defend their world and the Imperium. In return, the Imperium would ensure the stability of the Doradan Monarchy and their hegemony over the planet. Thus, the Conquistos became part of the Astra Militarum. As members of the guard, they were noted for their peculiar tactic of attempting to engage enemies in line battles. To the continued shock of many, this tactic worked, allowing the Conquistos to make a small name for themselves in the Imperial Guard for the past 3 millennia. The Conquistos are divided among their Regimentum into several sub-regiments and continue to mostly serve on the front lines to this day.

I'm likely to flesh out the Regimental Background more in the future. In the mean time, enjoy this picture of a Conquisto officer

NS Name: Zepplien
Name of Character: Her Imperial Highness the Baroness of Housing District 12093, First Among Equals, Honorary Archon of the Kabal of the Enviable Coffers, Brigadier of the Imperial Army, Tiffany von der Pestrova
Age: 30
Sex: Female
Planet of Origin: Mon-Terrava, Specifically the Hive City of New Tianburg
Years of Service: Technically 30 as all commanders are declared retroactively to have served from birth. A more helpful answer is 4 years in the Imperial Officer's Academy, and 1 year as an active service commander.
Personal Weapons: As is the tradition of Regimental Commanders on Mon-Terrava, she is not expected to fight on the front lines. Though she isn't stupid, and carries a handcrafted Fusion Pistol.
Personality: Overconfident, haughty, but with a surprisingly open mind for an Imperial Commander.
Bio: Born on the Imperial World of Mon-Terrava, as its name would indicate it is a world far from the light of the Emperor's gaze. While on the surface its noble castes might seem to stand similar to their counterparts on the millions of fellow Imperial worlds, the truth is far more complex. While she, like her mother and grandmother before her, laid claim to Imperial Titles, young Tiffany grew up watching Tau entertainment. When she was young her mother would bring her along to watch the races along the great tracks of Commorragh, and to see the magnificent relics of local shrines extolling the virtue of the 'Four Armed Emperor'. For on Mon-Terrava, trade was put far above the petty ideals of human exclusivity that so starved the Imperium of its resources.

As her teenage self toasted new slave contracts and enjoyed compliments on her pronunciation in Aeldari, she knew little of what the suffering in the backwaters of the Imperium might think of her. Even her meetings with the fat old Inquisitor in charge of the sector only lead her to learning of the teachings of the Xeno Hybris School of Inquisitional Thought, that Chaos not Xenos was the true enemy of humanity. To the young woman as she came of age, nothing was wrong with having a crush on her Air Caste Pilot, nor in the fact she was given invitation to enjoy a night at the Combat Arena of the Dark City alongside the heirs of a dozen Kabals. Even as she milled around in her secondary education she would take classes in classical Eldar Philosophy, and learn the art of Kauyon from old retired Gue'Vesa.

NS Name: Zepplien
Name of Regiment: Mon-Terrava's 88th Regiment
Commanding Officer: Tiffany von der Pestrova
2nd in Command: Sasha Ishikawa
Planet of Origin: Mon-Terrava
Founding Date: 888 M38
Type of Regiment: Heavy Infantry (Mechanized)
Number of Guardsmen:
Regimental Bio:
Mon-Terrava's 88th Regiment is one of the strangest in the Imperium, though not in the same way as many other feudal or hive worlds with their style of troops. No, the 88th is odd for its vast collection of Xenos technology, mainly purchased from the Archons of the Eldar, and the Tau Empire. A smaller number provided by the Craftworlds, and Haemonculi Covens. Their varied, not to mention exceedingly expensive, equipment leans itself to an over reliance on firepower rather than raw numbers. Unlike other Guard units, the lives of each soldier is valued (By Guard standards anyway) with heavily constrained rules on the Commissars, and a large amount of Tau armour being purchased.

On Mon-Terrava this regiment, alongside dozens of similar ones, are used to support the Arbities in operations to crush any signs of Chaos Cults, and insure the population who speaks against the world's Xenos trading net is slaughtered. It is not infrequent for these soldiers to focus on non lethal strikes with their accurate weapons, taking alive prisoners for the small monetary bonus offered by their leaders. What happens to these captives once they are handed over to the Eldar is something that most Guardsmen would prefer not to think about, and instead focus their minds upon their new wealth.

Unfortunately, after some incidents with other Guard Regiments, those deployed offworld tend to dismiss their Xenos Auxiliaries. This has lead to the drafting of members of certain Imperial Cults who all but beg for representation in the Imperial Guard to better serve their strangely titled 'Cult of the Four Armed Emperor'. These cultists from the Mining Guilds are carefully screened for any sign of Chaos Taint, but their loyalty to the Four Armed Emperor (Declared by the local Eclesiarchy to be perfectly fine) seems absolute.

I will be doing Blood Angels if allowed, but here is IG until then:

NS Name: Zjaum
Name of Character: Malachi Warthand the War Thane
Age: 72
Sex: Male
Planet of Origin: The tumultuous Keyva Secundus, where wildfires, earthquakes, and tsunamis are ever perseverant.
Years of Service: 50: 20 as a rank-and-file guardsman, 20 as a lieutenant, 10 as a regiment commander
Personal Weapons: Bolt pistol, Power Fist. A trusty military cap for shielding his eyes, and a purely cosmetic steel sword.
Personality: The galaxy's best planner, and also its worst improvisor. Kind and compassionate to his subordinates, if only so that they will be better prepared to sacrifice their lives for the Imperium. Always a little bit paranoid, but usually more than composed enough for any situation.
Bio: Malachi Warthand had little intention of entering the galactic army, having been born in one of the finer noble houses on the planet. Granted, most nobles would scoff at the status of his family, but the clans around him looked up to his father's leadership. That is, they did, until a swift and merciless coup by the four more powerful houses on the planet slaughtered his entire family. He himself was only spared because he was inspecting the wreckage of his vassals due to a most recent fire. They hid him until the commotion subsided. Having no one else to protect him but the Imperial Guard training facility on the planet, he enrolled and displayed not only tact but also bravery under fire. The millions of recruits there, however, meant that it would take decades for him to get recognized by the higher-ups, even when he outlasted his comrades in battle.

NS Name: Zjaum
Name of Regiment: The 729th Keyvath
Commanding Officer: Malachi Warthand
2nd in Command: Soruka Hillstrider
Planet of Origin: Keyva
Founding Date: 732.M41
Type of Regiment (heavy infantry, light, etc): Heavy Support (equal parts Basilisks, Hydras, and Wyverns)
Number of Guardsmen: 1,400 men, 500 tanks
Regimental Bio: The Keyvath, lovingly nicknamed the "Key Watch," are known very much for hugging the terrain and using it as best as possible to their advantage. They grew up in jagged highlands, where one misstep could send them careening off into the deadly valleys below. They know how to use fire to their advantage, and how to strike fear into their enemy at the best possible moment. Their soldiers know how to march and hike through what most regiments would consider impassible terrain, only to shock the enemy with a full barrage on its flank. There is nothing they will not- well, nothing they will not attempt to- do.

I use my NationStates stats, because a population of billions/trillions and an economy of hundreds of trillions is totally viable, trust me.
But seriously, aside from the population and GDP, just assume that my NS stats are roughly accurate.

Support: Paleo-imperialism, conservatism, libertarianism, Christianity.
Against: Stupid people, resistance to industrial progress, alt-right, any form of government at or beyond socialism.

I hail from The League of Conservative Nations. Hearts unthawed, hearts unshaken!

So, I'm very interested in this but I just wanted to ask, are these Infantry-Only Regiments or are Armored and/or Mechanized Regiments also allowed to give all the soft, squishy, and prone to becoming red mist infantry some heavier support?

NS Name: Atkemri
Name of Character: Lysidia Trismetanus
Age:34
Sex: Male
Planet of Origin: Fenris
Years of Service: 17
Personal Weapons: Bolt pistol, Chainsword
Personality: Lysidia is a die-hard believer in the Imperium consider to go too far by even the most puritanical of his comrades. He eats, breathes, and dreams about the God-Emperor. As such he is extremely harsh on anyone who he suspects to even slightly deviate from the eternal wisdom of the Emperor of Mankind, however, he may look over the transgressions of those he personally likes or those who are especially useful to the cause of the Imperium. Outside of his near-obsession with the emperor, he is a rough unrefined man as most of his men are and as such he gets along well with the men in his regiment despite his heavy-handedness and willingness to throw them into obviously unfavorable situations. Lysidia especially takes joy in the slaughter of heretics with Xeno's not that far behind.
Bio: Lysidia was born on the planet of Fenris to some of the small non-Space Marine population of Fenris to two guardsmen. As a child on the icy planet of Fenris, he always idolized the Space Marines he saw flying off the planet to protect Mankind and kill Xenos and he wanted to be one of them. He took all the measures he possibly could to be chosen as one and despite his parents asking for him to settle for the guard knowing he wasn't going to be chosen he pushed onward and when the time came he was expectedly rejected and so he joined the guard as was expected of someone of his devotion to the Imperium. He was adopted into the Fenris 678th and sent to an Ork infested planet and ended up holed up in a cabe with a few other guardsmen hearing the orks assemble outside. He rallied the men who were ready for their deaths and held the line for 2 days until Space Marines arrived to the area and rescued them. The planet was hit with an Exterminatus later on.

The majority of his regiment was wiped out as well with the commanding officer. He was promoted to officer due to his leadership skills shown in the cave and he was among one of the last left. Now with a rejuvenated regiment, he leads the men of the Imperium with pride.

Name of Regiment: Fenris 678th
Commanding Officer: Lysidia Trismetanus
2nd in Command: Jarleo Shantor
Planet of Origin: Fenris
Founding Date: M35
Type of Regiment: Light Infantry and Air support. Mostly Bombers and Valkyries with another portion of Avenger air support. If more detail is wanted I will happily provide.
Number of Guardsmen: 90k
Regimental Bio: The Fenris 678th is made up of those on the planet who were not chosen for the Space Wolf Space marine chapter, but were still chosen for military service. As a regiment made of the people from a death world, they are known to be very resilient, but as Imperial Guardsmen, it doesn't really matter. No matter how resilient you are, charging headlong at a Tyranid Hive doesn't end well.

NS Name: Herador
Name of Regiment: Elalian 66th Armored Regiment
Commanding Officer: Colonel Webbe Shaeffer
2nd in Command: Major Dahlia Esposito
Planet of Origin: Elalia
Founding Date: 798.M39
Type of Regiment: Armored
Number of Guardsmen: 3,250
Regimental Bio: A refounding of an older regiment, the 66th received its training from the Forge World Elalia fed, Magmell, where they were instructed on the operations of their tanks and trained in their tactics by the tech adepts and Skitarii of Magmell. Since their training, they have largely been involved in pacification missions against rebellions, using their training in breakthrough blitz operations to overrun units with fewer armor units and inferior training. They have had two major engagements since their inception.
  • The War for Drakken: A massive trench conflict between two coalition factions on a pre-modern planet that had been forbidden to outside forces by the Sector leadership until the war that had engulfed the population was resolved, arguing that the victorious faction was the better one and worthy of joining the Imperium. Chaos cultists, however, took advantage of the war that had been going on for several generations and turned one faction to their side, if not their religion. The Guard was dispatched to resolve the situation, however, the forces sent were largely light and line infantry, and while they made large inroads during the fighting the war was still dragging on longer than sector leadership could afford. Three regiments were requisitioned (2 armor and a mechanized) and deployed to the points of the heaviest fighting, with the 66th being assigned to the most fortified part of the opposing trenchworks. The 66th set to work immediately and performed one of the first large breakthroughs in 50 years, not unheard of in the conflict, but because of their armor and the enemies inability to counter Imperial armor with their own comparatively light armor, the breakthrough was held at the initial breakpoint by Imperial and local forces, allowing the 66th to continue advancing far into their own lines, even cutting off sections of the trenchwork from supply allowing other sections to be broken by loyalist forces.
  • The Skrathian Blitz: A planetary governor decided to use his recent acquisition of an STC fragment in an underground ruin as a bargaining chip to deny the Guard it's tithe of men, believing that the STC fragment would give him enough power to bring them to the negotiating table. It did not. The 66th was deployed along with a unit from Magmell to recover the STC fragment and bring the Skrathian's in line. Fighting had already gone on for several months before the arrival of the 66th, and had been advancing steadily against the local PDF but the 66th was ordered to break through and secure several crossroads to facilitate a rapid infantry advance on two fortresses that were supplying the PDF front. Using what they learned on Drakken, the 66th applied heavy pressure on the PDF who had poorly maintained armor and inferior tactics to meet them with. Unlike Drakken where their advance was quickly supported, however, the Imperial lines on Skrathia were largely made up of PDF units who didn't defect with the governor and were similarly ill-equipped materially and tactically. This lead to the 66th advancing several days ahead of their nearest support and created a salient where the defector PDF had freedom of movement along a line the 66th couldn't manage all at once. A single Battalion was sent back in a fighting withdrawal to friendly lines and linked up with Skitarii forces from Magmell, leading a return assault with veteran support, allowing the 66th and their supporting units to take and hold their objectives, going on to lead the assaults on both fortresses, recovering the STC fragment for a Carborator.

4th Ludavic Armored Fist Regiment

Postby Independent States of Tula » Tue Oct 01, 2019 9:08 am

NS Name: Independent States of Tula

Name of Character: Colonel Colm Jastremski

Age: 52

Sex: Male

Planet of Origin: Ludavic

Years of Service: 34

Personal Weapons: 1x Mars Pattern Mark IV Command Laspistol, 2x Frag Grenades.

Personal Vehicle: Leman Russ Executioner armed with 2x Heavy Bolter Sponsons & Pintle-Mounted Storm Bolter

Personality: Hard-Headed, Stubborn, and Reckless. Three terms used to describe Colonel Colm Jastremski of the 4th Ludavic Armored Fist Regiment on more than a few occasions. Colonel Jastremski is well known in some circles for his decisive nature, an independent streak a mile long, and his unwillingness to lead from the rear. All of these features serve to make Colm a feared foe to the enemies of the Imperium of Man, and a valuable (if somewhat nerve-wracking) asset to whichever Command he is assigned under. However, beneath all of this, Colonel Colm Jastremski has room in his heart for some sentimentality. He cares for his Guardsmen, and while he is willing to spend their lives to achieve victory, he will not waste their lives on fruitless endeavors (whether truly so or simply perceived as such).

This has led to some incidents where Colm has ordered retreats without Command approval. As well as on one occasion a fistfight between the Colonel and his Commander at the time in regards to the latter's plan to use Jastremski's men on a diversionary attack which the Colonel had seen as "a pointless waste of life that would be an affront to the Emperor". Nevertheless, Jastremski's ability to create holes in enemy lines, encircle large enemy pockets, and even his willingness to sacrifice himself for victory has kept the Colonel from facing any significant punishment for such independent behavior so far. Outside of combat and battlefield planning another part of Colm Jastremski shows itself, a connoisseur of cigars and liquors of all types, the Colonel is well known among his men as a man who can enjoy the fruits of downtime as much as any of them. Of course, Colm Jastremski is also known for a secondary vice that he quite enjoys that is known as the fairer sex, but that is for another time.

Bio: Born in 992.M39 to two members of the 4th Armored Fist Regiment, Colm Jastremski was destined to fight within the regiment's ranks. On his 18th birthday he was inducted into the regiment's Whiteshields, having spent most of his life training for war already this was more a promotion of sorts than a new chapter of his life per se. A few months after his induction Colm found himself in combat for his first time, his first combat assignment saw no exceptional actions take place, though his record was marked with a commendation for dutiful service in the face of adversity...earned when his Chimera was destroyed by enemy artillery and Colm had been forced (as the only known survivor of the incident) to continue towards the enemy line on foot behind the advancing armored column. After this combat tour Colm was promoted into a position as a normal Armored Fist Guardsman, leading to his second of eight combat deployments with the regiment, a deployment which ended early when Colm lost his left arm to a Heretic's chainsword shortly before said Heretic was riddled with laser fire from Colm himself. Sent to the rear to recover, Colm's second combat tour would also be rather insignificant as far as his record stated, his injury preventing him from partaking in it further.

With two regimental combat tours over and next to no distinctions to show for them, it had appeared that Colm's career as a Guardsman would be a relatively normal one. However, after being granted a replacement limb and being reassigned to the armored portion of the Armored Fist Regiment, Colm would finally distinguish himself on the field of battle. On his third tour Colm, at this point a lowly driver, would find himself the sole survivor of enemy fire within his Leman Russ tank after it took accurate rocket fire. Moving himself into the turret and taking over the jobs of both Loader and Gunner, Colm turned his Leman Russ into an immobile bunker of sorts and began to hammer Heretic positions, surviving several more hits from various anti-tank weapons and inflicting heavy damage on enemy forces as a second wave of Leman Russ's from the 4th reinforced his position and finished off the Heretics in their first line positions. For his actions Colm would be promoted to Gunner and sent to crew a new tank for the rest of his third deployment.

After these events Colm continued to prove his bravery and devotion to the Emperor as he rose through the ranks to Tank Commander, to Section Commander, and even becoming the senior-most Battalion Commander by his fifth tour. On his sixth tour this would be significant as the Regimental Colonel and Major would be taken out by enemy fire during a particularly nasty counter attack against Chaos Space Marines attempting an assault on Imperial lines. Without hesitation (then Major) Colm took command and led the remains of his regiment against the Emperor's Children marines in a second counter attack, eventually pushing the Heretics back at very high costs to the entire regiment. Promoted to Colonel, Colm would finish his sixth tour with a heavily depleted regiment under his full command, before spending several years waiting for proper replenishment of his regiment. Eventually commanding it once more in two more combat deployments.

Today, Colm continues to lead his men into battle, earning their respect and loyalty many times over with his "lead from the front" attitude and his desire to preserve their lives as best he can. Colm looks forward to his third deployment at the helm of the 4th, seeking to end this traitorous rebellion on Calmora and continue on to the next battlefield after.

Regimental Bio: A unique regiment in comparison to the vast legions serving the Emperor's Imperial Guard, the 4th Ludavic Armored Fist Regiment is regularly reinforced and resupplied from their home world, and hold themselves to a high standard in both training and equipment. Utilizing heavy flak armor and bullpup lasguns, the Armored Fist Infantry are specialized shock troopers who dominate in engaging the enemy up close and personal with heavy armored support. The tankers and various other crewmen can often be seen wearing their overalls and a slightly smaller flak vest in comparison to the infantry however, they too hold themselves to high standards as breakthrough and exploitation forces...same as their squishier comrades. The reason for these high standards and high level equipment is simple, the Guardsmen who make up the 4th are born and bred from families with millennia long lines as members of their home world's warrior caste. Since their births, these men and women have been trained to be soldiers, many of them were even born off of Ludavic as children of Regimental Guardsmen, these children later becoming whiteshields and then full fledged members of the 4th as well.

Engaging in numerous conflicts, the current iteration of the 4th Ludavic Armored Fist Regiment has most famously emerged from the War of Brass during the years of 738-741.M40, where they played a key role in exterminating the Chaos-worshiping Heretics of the Hive Worlds of the Gelmiro Cluster. From that conflict onward the 4th became a highly prized regiment as they became known as one of the few high-grade regiments capable of fighting Chaos forces without succumbing to some form of Heresy themselves, much like their Cadian cousins. As such the regiment became a favorite for use against suspected chaos uprisings and other actions requiring conventional military forces to crush treasonous necks. In the last five decades the regiment has worked to crush a dozen different uprisings or chaotic invasions throughout the Imperium's boundaries. There are even whispers in the upper echelons of Imperial society that the Regiment may be soon placed under Inquisitorial command should their streak of victories for the Emperor continue.

(Added by Order of Colonel Jastremski) Notes For Theater Commander: To the Theater Commander to which I am assigned, these notes will be able to give you a better picture of how to properly utilize my regiment to full efficiency...as well as how to counter it should it go rogue.

First, the regiment should be utilized as a concentrated force, previous Commanders have ordered the regiment to be spread out piecemeal in order to harden up the line infantry as a whole (unsurprisingly they had backgrounds in the infantry). This is a waste of the regiment's true potential and brings it's effectiveness to basically null. The proper use of this regiment is to create breakthroughs in the enemy's lines and then to exploit those breakthroughs in the hopes of encircling and then destroying the enemy. It is advised that line infantry be held as a reserve force behind this regiment in order to secure the breakthrough from counter attacks, and that mechanized or motorized infantry be on standby to also exploit said breakthrough, regimental artillery support would also aid the efforts of the breakthrough itself as well as provide effective counter-battery fire.

Second, the regiment is an armored fist, this means it utilizes a mass of armor to smash the enemy apart without mercy. However, the regiment lacks artillery and anti-aircraft support, this makes it extremely vulnerable to enemy artillery and air attack. Consequently should this regiment go rogue and need be destroyed in the name of the Emperor then it would be best to utilize massed artillery bombardments, aerial attacks from the Aeronautica Imperialis, and should it be used in an attack against your lines a healthy use of anti-tank weapons such as krak grenades and lascannons should be issued to your line forces. Remember, always attempt to engage this force with artillery and air forces whenever possible, this regiment does not have the capability to respond to either without proper support from outside forces/regiments.

Third, and final note, should you ever require more clarification for how to utilize my regiment to its fullest contact myself FIRST. I have fought and bled beside these men and regimental colors for decades, if there is anyone who can aid you in how my regiment should be used, then it's me.

Planet Name: Ludavic

Planet Type: Fortress World

Atmosphere: Breathable, Mix of Oxygen and Nitrogen

Size and Mass: Surface Area: 510,072,000 km2 / Mass: 5.97237×1024 kg
Axial Tilt, Orbital Distance, and Number Tilt: 26.5 degrees, Orbit: 151.6 million km, Number: 5th

Geography and Climate: Mountainous, with innumerable river valleys, temperate climate, cities of the world are built inside the mountains and outer world is relatively free of pollution, making it almost look like a paradise world until one realizes the mountains have been turned into fortresses with innumerable gun emplacements, machine gun nests, bunkers, artillery, anti-orbital weaponry, and even void shields.

Culture and History: Colonized during the Great Crusade the world of Ludavic was immediately set to be ruled by Imperial Army officers and focused its industry fully upon defense. Designated as one of the dozens of worlds that would stand as the second line of defense against the Eye of Terror Ludavic would be fortified over the course of the next Nine Millennia. During this time the people of Ludavic would develop a very militaristic culture and a strict caste system as people were born into and died within castes built specifically to ensure that the proper specializations needed for a Fortress World from the engineering caste that maintained and built the planet's military equipment to the soldiers of the Warrior Caste who would use and operate those pieces of equipment against the Emperor's enemies. Out of all the planet's within the grasp of the Imperium the planet of Ludavic actually held onto the Imperial Truth for longer than most, only giving it up around a millennia after the Heresy, however even today the Imperial Truth's influence can still be found on Ludavic in their very "specialized" version of worshipping the God Emperor. Ludavic's worship is somewhat the worship of mankind overall, seeing Humanity as the only race capable of ruling the Galaxy in peace and perfection, and seeing the Emperor as the Perfect Human for whom all should stride to be like.

Because of this placing of the Emperor at the head of their faith, Ludavic has been able to avoid most scrutiny of the Inquisition and Ecclesiarchy, though some questions still remain on whether the Emperor is a God or simply a man within Ludavic's faith. Besides their faith, the planet of Ludavic is incredibly utilitarian and specialized in order to better produce their rather small yet incredibly specialized tithe of Regiments to the Imperial Guard, though a portion of that tithe does stay on planet to protect it in case Cadia is to fall, something seen as impossible for nearly nine millennia.

So..

1. Just a nitpick but the Regimental Name would be 729th Keyvath

2. We aren’t really building these Regiments like the tabletop game, so that many lord commissars and commissars for a regiment of 1400 is literally insane unless it’s a penal company

3. Normally combined arms regiments aren’t allowed

Ok, while tradint with Xenos is not unheard of, I believe this would be taking it to far

NS Name: Empire of Tau
Name of Regiment: 108th Artillery Regiment
Commanding Officer: Major General Ladder
2nd in Command: Colonel Anneto
Planet of Origin: Hive World Asmen
Founding Date: 714.M39
Type of Regiment : Artillery
Number of Guardsmen: 15,250 (240 Towed-Basilisk Guns, 250 Ten-Ton Trucks, 20 Five-Ton Trucks, 10 Vox-Masters, 25 Vox-Casters, 50 Towed-Hydra Flaks, 26 Medusa)
Regimental Bio: The 108th Artillery Regiment was originally organized into ten artillery divisions, centralized and commanded by high-command of any given war. Over decades of attrition and bad luck on the fields of battle, the 108th Artillery Regiment has been reduced to a single artillery division.
The Asmen Campaign : The 108th Artillery Regiment is shortly formed after a cultist uprising within Hive City Jita, Ekura, and Eden. The 108th was moved across the vast wastelands of Hive World Asmen to Hive City Jita. The Siege of Jita took the 108th two years of periodic bombardment to break its defenses, allowing other regiments to do a direct assault on Jita. The 108th then has to defend Jita from counter-battery and counter-attacks from in-coming cultist army groups, forming a defense ring around Jita with other regiments. The 108th is forced to move as the defense live breaks, the assault on Jita fails as cultist commits to the counter-attack. The 108th is reassigned to the Siege of Jita, shelling the Hive City again, but now for another ten years. The 108th is relocated to Hive City Eden after Hive City Jita outer defenses is broke. The Siege of Hive Eden starts. The 108th shells Eden for ten years and the 108th is moved again after the defenses of Eden falls. The 108th arrives on the outskirts of Ekura, shelling starts once more. Three years is taken up by the constant shelling of Ekura. The 108th is now moved outside of Hive World Asmen to other battlefields after the Asmen Campaign.

The Okela Campaign : The 108th arrives on the Agri-world of Okela. A small Ork WAAGGGHHH is in process. The 108th is given the task of supporting regiments defending a small town (Jouvlen) on a strategic transportation and supply hub. The 108th stays at Jouvlen for five years before an Ork warband manages to encircle Jouvlen. Two divisions is lost before a relief is afforded after a breakthrough. The 108th moves to the defense of the Okela major space port with multiple infantry regiments. A year passes, the Ork has yet to break into the space port. The 108th assists in the outward push out of the space port. Three years later, the 108th is evacuated from Okela, five divisions are lost in the process.

The Nourvukaiken Campaign : The 108th arrives on Hive World Nourvukaiken. The 108th moves in to defense of Hive City June, assisting armored regiments southwest of Hive City June in battle against Orks. 108th moves to the east of June, covering the escape of infantry regiments. The 108th involves itself in the defense of Hive City June in the west wastelands, shelling Orks with the aid of armored regiments. Hive City June falls to the Orks. The 108th retreats to Hive City Shovale. The 108th and multiple other regiments are surrounded by Orks after infantry regiments fail to cover their retreat. For three months, the 108th desperately fights on. Relief is given in the form of a Guard Army Group breaking the encirclement. The 108th loses three divisions in the Battle of Shovale. The 108th is then shipped off to its next campaign.

Your nation name, and your regiment... you have my sympathies, bub.

Takaka Tar' Turayi,
The stars will be ours someday.
