The Auto-Reds base their legitimacy on the idea that the Antiudecte based in Calan (who are now the Antiudecte for the Flux Empire of the Auto-Reds) are the source of power, since the Fliudero was given the title of ISRA by the Antiudecte, making the Flux Empire of the Auto-Reds a continuation of the earlier Redstone Empire. So the previous leader is the 18 year old Dshenretshot Mashfera.

Mashfera became ISRA when her 15 year old brother Ecsero suddenly resigned after a day. She was obsessed over the sudden resignation, and wasn't too keen on having such a high role (Ecsero was always the more ambitious one, though it would be hard to tell), and so over a period of 5 days came to the conclusion that he was removed from power by the Antiurenia. She felt that this would set a dangerous precedent (it never would, though not because she was wrong). She then felt that the Antiurenia were traitors, and then decided to leave Calan with her brother to join the besieging Auto-Reds (let the irony sink in).

So, she is remembered as ISRA as doing nothing more than the other five ISRAs between Calanot Solo Liucfero and Fliumenot Antiubodulo, other than obsessing over her brother. However she is also remembered for rooting out corruption and for allowing the Auto-Reds to reform the government (she is remembered in a pro-Auto-Red light). Meanwhile she's a governor of Vindeshmer Poria I, and her brother is a high ranking official in the Ministry of Expansion.
Renamed to "Sefeiunto-Redu" (because I changed the spelling).

The Previous Leader Was President Lada McOlau She was the 1st Leftist leader in 30 years. She had a populist agenda that was controverted and disputed by the Parliament as She did lose the mid term election. For many She is very polemical She won a second term by the lowest vote proportion ever. She is considered an authoritarian, nepotist, inept and a bad leader. She was overthrown by Censure vote of the Parliament Parliament forcing anticipated elections. Which She tried to avoid. In the end She was defeated by Right-Wing coalition that Won Presidentials and Parliamentary election.

The previous emperor of Alpes was Henri VI

He was known as one of the 3 great emperors of Alpes since the Regency period. He built up the alpine navy to the formidable force that it is today and he developed the industry base and railroads that are seen throughout Alpes today. He also made it so slavery was illegal in major cities and many other things that define Alpes to this day.

He died early at the age of 55 because of an unexpected stroke-heart attack in his sleep and didn't have an heir with his son Harold died a decade before in the Indochinese wars. His death brought an end to The cadet house of Froid-Pussiance and lead to the election of the current emperor

The previous Prime Minister was Selim Atacan (in office 2013-2015). He was elected as part of the Independent Party after former Prime Minister George Albenbury resigned. He was an ardent secularist, with controversial bans on clothes such as the hijab. He was fine in all other respects though, and was a down-to-earth, friendly person. He is currently the Assistant Prime Minister.

The previous Assistant Prime Minister was Thomas Bartlett (in office 2015-2016). He was head of the New Capitalist Party. Wealth gaps grew under his rule and the environment wasn't as prioritized. The people weren't happy with this and demonstrated against him. As a result of the pressure, he resigned one year later and Selim Atacan was elected as Assistant Prime Minister. Most people are grateful that at least he wasn't power-hungry, so he resigned once there were large amounts of dissent.

Who was the previous leader of your nation? How are they remembered today and in comparison to the current leader?

The previous leader and ruler of the Dushan was Lord Kalan II. also called the "Young Prince" who ruled for for equivalent of 14 standard earth years. Which is considered a short time by dushani standards. He suceeded his late father on the throne in his youth and was soon afterwards elected and confirmed by the Great Council. He continued many of the reforms and tried to improve the harsh conditions upon which many Dushan were still living. He delegated many matters of the state to the civilian government and increased its role, moving away from the occassional authoritarian and heavy headed technqiues of his late father.

Kalan dedicated his regency to the motto of "To serve right ideals and justice for all" and indeed for some years it seemed he would made good for it. However the course of history took a different turn as the realms came under attack of the barbarious Zizuk Horde. Not afraid of conflict he would lead the Army himself into the war and this would be his fate, as he fell honorably and valiantly in the final and victorious battle in defense of the western capital of Ujain buried under the ruins of the old citadel.

According to ancient custom he was followed by his wife, Lady Zelina on the throne.

Kalan is generally kept in good memory by most and his nobility, sense of justice and bravity keep serving as inspiration and role model. Despite some histographs say that he had his shortcommings and was prone to influence and occassional indecisiveness, his legacy is one of good reputation.

The last Domnaeni of Shalotte was Ffeysis III, who reigned from 1988 until her death in 2012. Her life and reign is regarded as one of tragedy by most Shalottes. As the second daughter of her mother, Braé IV, she wasn't expected to become the Domnaeni until her older sister and heir apparent, Tira of Selgovae, died in a storm in Hadarin Bay in 1982. Six years later her mother died in a travelling accident, which saw her inherit the title while she still mourned the loss of her sister.

Initially a popular monarch in the early years of her reign, the sudden death of her husband in 2000 caused her to become isolated, withdrawn, and overly protective of her only child, Alsa, whom she kept secluded from the public in Domnaeni House until Ffeysis' eventual death from complications related to pneumonia in 2012. Alsa II, aged only 14 at the time, became the current incumbent Domnaeni of Shalotte the following day.

The prior Mon'gaeltyn of Shalotte was Doragén of Hraldig, who was elected as Tyrrn of Alauna and voted to the position of Mon'gaeltyn for three Calls before stepping down to retire at the age of 67 in 2006. His premiership was regarded as uneventful but prosperous by most, and he was generally well-liked. He was replaced in the subsequent Call by Riagán of Damnoni, whose leadership of the Gaeltyn was most recently reaffirmed for a second time in the 2016 Call of the Tyrrns.

The previous leader of the Kingdom of Rwizikuru is Mambo Izibongo Ngonidzashe, who was elected as President in 1954 for two terms, before declaring himself Mambo in 1964, and reigning until his death in a road accident in 1979.

However, the current Mambo, Kupakwashe Ngonidzashe, will be abdicating in about a week from today, and will be replaced by his son, Munashe Ngonidzashe.

The last monarch of Ceroem was Matthew III, who reigned from 1989 to 2012. Succeding the throne after the death of his heirless sister Elizabeth, Matthew was not popular at the beginning of his reign, with an upturn in anti-monarchy sentiment and the fallout from his son's infidelity scandal rocking the king's early years. However, his humorous nature and personal involvement in foreign affairs and negotiation (experience gained from his years working anonymously at the Ministry of External Affairs when he was the Prince of Ardland)

The last Prime Minister of Ceroem was Frank Tate, who served from 2004 to 2006. Leader of the Social Democratic Party, he served as Finance Secretary from 1996 to 1999 and as Defence Secretary from 1999 to 2004. Succeeding the ousted Kevin Barnes, Tate took over a minority government supported by the Liberals. Deciding against holding an election immediately, he was moderately well liked by the public and presided over moderate economic growth, continuing the policy of Barnes, however he could achieve little as the Liberals held a huge influence over their decisions. At the 2006 election, the SDP did better than the polls predicted, but Barnes lost re-election and the NDP won a majority of 2 seats. Barnes then resigned as party leader and retired from politics.

Our nation's previous Prime Minister was Philippe Chaney, who served from 2003 until 2015. A member of the Conservative Party, Philippe was the first Conservative Prime Minister since Henri Cuvillier, who left the office in 1991. During his twelve years in office, the Conservative-controlled Chamber of Deputies lowered income taxes for all tax brackets (with the highest tax bracket decreasing from 39.4% to 21.8%), completely privatised Aikoland Railways (although this would prove to be a controversial move and, since 2017, the government has owned 48% of Aikoland Railways, with strong support for the complete renationalisation of the company), and, in mid-2013, proposed a constitutional amendment to recognise same-sex marriage in Aikoland. Said amendment managed to pass both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate with the requisite 75% majorities and became part of the constitution in 2014.

Chaney was dismissed as Prime Minister following the 2015 elections for the Chamber of Deputies which saw the Social Democratic Party gaining the majority of seats and assuming control of the office. Since leaving office, Chaney has continued to serve in his seat in the Chamber of Deputies, which he has held since 1990. He also continued to serve as Leader of the Conservative Party until resigning in 2017.

Our nation's previous monarch was Emperor Édouard IV, who reigned from 1975 until 1992. Édouard famously abdicated the throne on his 57th birthday due to 'long held feelings that he didn't belong on the throne' in favour of his eldest daughter and current Empress, Élisabeth IV. Édouard was the first Aikolandais monarch to abdicate the throne since Élisabeth III, who abdicated in favour of her eldest son in 1830 due to health issues. Since his abdication, Édouard is still entitled to referred to as Emperor and predominantly engages in humanitarian work, even at his advanced age (Édouard is currently 84 years of age).

Last President was MH Ferran Torrent He entered office in 2010 after almost a decade of conservative people`s party in power. He obtained election because of the electoral defeat of the conservative people`s party plagged by corruption, overexpending and rising unemployment as the Country was hit by a severe economic crisis. Dragged by Spanish construction bubble explosion. He had to undertake several drastic adjustement policies. Those policies started to become in efect by 2012 in which unemployment started to reduce and the economy started to grown again. In 2014 Which He seeked reelection He won again allowing to increase it`s own party strenght inside the Government coalition. Andrew Doila became President after the then President Jacob Doila died of a heart attack making Andrew Dolia who was then Vice President, the President of Thermodolia. Dolia declined to run for re-election and has been remembered as a micromanager. His term as president was very uneventful and largely forgettable. After his term of president Dolia returned to private life. He is still a member of United Thermodolia.

The previous Prime Minister was Andrea Summers, she was in office from 10 April, 2020 to 10 August, 2020. She was appointed by President Jacob Zarman after the National Assembly and then government of Bill Winston was dissolved for emergency snap elections. Prime Minister Summers declined to run for office in the July election instead she focused on passing a budget and maintaining a government. After her term as Prime Minister ended she was appointed to the position of Secretary of Defense and would assume that post on 15 August, 2020. She is the least popular president in recent history, and is known for continuing the unpopular occupation of Afghanistan, worsening relations between Columbia and the United Arab Republic, and economic policies that led to a large amount of outsourcing of jobs and an economic recession in Columbia.

Biographies of previous leaders.
King Charles XIII
Image
Charles Louis Henri Antoine Jean Philippe de Bourbon XIII (1947-) served as King of Arthropol from 1999 to 2012, after the death of his father, Louis XVIII. Charles XIII was born on 15 March 1947, to King Louis XVIII, and Queen Louise. As the eldest child of the reigning monarch, he was immediately the first in line to the throne, and served as Dauphin of Arthropol for 52 years until his own coronation in 1999. After his graduation from school, he joined the military while studying in university, traditional for male members of the Royal Family. He decided to join the Grande Armée, and served in the Arthropolian alpine troops based in the Dauphiné in Rhône-Alpes for 34 years. In 1999, his father Louis XVIII suddenly died. Charles XIII was crowned King of Arthropol on 1 July 1999, also ascending to the largely ceremonial roles of the head of state of Arthropol, and the commander-in-chief of the Royal Arthropol Armed Forces.

Charles XIII's 13-year reign was most notable for the continued economic and political success of Arthropol under a series of competent Prime Ministers, and his abdication in 2012. Later in his reign, he faced health problems associated with his old age, and in 2012, he made the decision to pass on the crown to his eldest child, Pierre IV.

Charles XIII now lives in Arthropol City with Queen Louise. In his spare time, Charles XIII enjoys listening to classical music, reading, and watching sports including golf, tennis, winter sports, and football (soccer). Due to his time spent in the Dauphiné, he is a supporter of the football club Royal Grenoble Foot 33. Charles XIII speaks French and Latin fluently, and speaks Italian, Spanish, English and Arpitan to a high proficiency.

Laurent Rousseau
Image
Laurent Jacques Roussseau (1972-) is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transportation of Arthropol, and was the Prime Minister of Arthropol from 2013 to 2017. Rousseau was born on 12 March 1972 to Serge Rousseau, an aerospace engineer, and Natalia Molina Torres, a Spanish-Arthropolian chef. As a child, he excelled in school, and always wanted to become a pilot. Upon his graduation, he decided against conscription initially, and studied a degree in engineering at the University of Aquitaine. After his graduation from university, he applied to become an officer in the Grande Armée de l'Air. During his 8 years of service from 1993 to 2001, he flew Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft, and was promoted to the rank of Capitaine. During his time in the Air Force, Rousseau studied Strategic Studies at the University of Toulouse. While on leave in 1997 in Toulouse, Rousseau met teacher Lucie Vasseur, who he married the following year. In 2001, he left the Air Force to settle down with his wife. While applying for a job, a friend suggested him run for political office, so he joined the Arthropolian Workers' Party.

Later in 2001, Rousseau was elected as a deputy to the Royal Assembly for the district Toulouse-4, a role which he is still serving in. In late 2008, after a leadership spill in the Workers' Party (PT), causing its numbers to plummet in the polls, Rousseau became the leader of the PT. He and his wife and daughter relocated to Arthropol City, where he would lead the campaign for the upcoming election where the PT did better than expected, calpuring around 100 seats/1000, compared to an expected result of around 40. This led to them being a junior member of a coalition with the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Labour Party (PL). Rousseau was appointed the Minister of Transport by Social Democratic Prime Minister Louis Serre. In 2012, Rousseau led the PT to a large victory, almost single-handedly capturing a majority of 501, with around 420 seats. He was sworn in as Prime Minister in early 2013 and continued to serve as Minister of Transport. During his time in office, he had a generally high approval rating domestically, and a mixed approval rating in other countries. In the 2016 election, he failed to replicate the success of the 2012 election, with the resurgence of the PSD. The PT once again was the junior member of the coalition, with Rousseau in the role of Deputy Prime Minister. In 2019, he announced his temporary retirement from politics after the 2020 election, to spend more time with his family. Rousseau considers himself to be a democratic socialist and a moderate republican.

Rousseau lives in the official residence of the Deputy Prime Minister in Arthropol City. He is married to Lucie Vasseur, who is six years his junior, and has two children, Lydia and Nathan. He is an aviation enthusiast and owns a Cirrus SR22 aircraft which he has saved up for since his childhood. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, cooking, and playing football (soccer). Rousseau is a fan of the football clubs Toulouse FC and FC Barcelona, and the rugby club Stade Tolousain. He is of Spanish heritage through his mother, and holds both Arthropolian and Spanish citizenship. Rousseau speaks French, Spanish, English, Occitan and Catalan fluently.

If we are including pretenders, well, then the last Archduke was Diogenes the Treacherous. He was defeated at the battle of Tridentum, linked here: https://www.nationstates.net/nation=tar ... id=1310084

If we are speaking of the last legitimate Archduke, Prince and Emperor, we must be speaking of Emperor Ataiun I Valens, my father, betrayed and killed by that rat Diogenes at the Battle of Carthage, 2004.

-Archduke, Prince and Emperor, Ataiun II

Emperor Dom Pedro IV was the last monarch. He reigned from 1983 until his death in a plane crash in July 1994. He was succeeded by Dom Pedro V.

Prime minister André Franco Texeira was the last head of government. He was elected in 2014 and governed until the 2018 elections. The parliament elected Augusto Veiga Araujo in 2018. André's government was marked by a huge improvement in the military budget.
