What percentage of the population do women make up? 58% of the population, with substantial imbalance due to a moderate preference for male child soldiers during the recent civil war over female ones.
What is the perception of women in society? Equal members of society, though feminism and gynocracy are viewed with suspicion.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Whatever they wish to wear, though lately, the State has been discouraging old-fashioned notions of "modesty." Hijabs, burqas, and other Islamic headgear, however, are prohibited by law.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? If they wish.
Do women usually hold a job? More often than not, they always have, anyway, except in rare cases.
If so, what kind of jobs? Mostly the same jobs as men, but there is an unofficial preference for non-violent and less physically taxing work than is the case for men.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? No.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? Women have always been allowed to do the same jobs as men.
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? Favorable, as it has long been normal in Akrosian society.

Name of country: Zambique

What percentage of the population do women make up? About 51%
What is the perception of women in society? They are human beings with equal rights in all respects to men. Gender egalitarianism is a major cornerstone of Zambican Socialism.
What clothes are women expected to wear? Conservative elements of Zambican society in more rural and religious areas tend to believe women should dress modestly and in traditional clothing. However, most Zambicans believe that, like men, woman can chose to wear whatever they wish within reason (ie. jobs or institutions with professional dress codes). It is not the place of a man to tell a woman what she can wear.
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? Women are often expected to present themselves well, but they are well within their rights to not wear make-up or cosmetics. Many see excessive make-up as a reflection on vanity of capitalist consumerism, but most Zambican women are fine with using such products in moderation.
Do women usually hold a job? Working-age women usually work, and the overwhelming majority are employed.
If so, what kind of jobs? All jobs are open to women.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Gender discrimination in employment is illegal, and any job can be filled by any gender so long as an individual has the merit appropriate for that position (qualifications, skills, experience, etc.).
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? Thirteen years ago, the Army re-opened front-line positions in the infantry for women, which was barred in the late 1970's after independence and several horrible incidents with female soldiers being captured by rebels. Old laws which limited women's work in professions and industries considered 'dangerous' were lifted in the early 2000's as a sign of societal progression (originally were put in place to prevent exploitation under more cruel practices leftover from the colonial-era).
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? They are contributing members of society and are exercising their freedom, independence, intelligence, creativity and ambition.

What percentage of the population do women make up? probably 60% due to the Great Incel Revolution of 1998
What is the perception of women in society? beckys are viewed somewhat positively, at least compared to stacys. The former are designated as Female Residents, rather than citizens. The latter are deemed Female Chattels, as in literal slaves.
What clothes are women expected to wear? beckys have some freedom of choice in clothing, though limited in practice; stacys are generally kept naked as much as possible
Are women expected to wear make-up or cosmetics? Naturally. Have to look good for Full Citizens (Incels) and Full Residents (normies).
Do women usually hold a job? Depends on their class and what their men decide for them to a large extent, not to mention the State.
If so, what kind of jobs? Whatever job their class and the responsible man in their lives permits them, within reason. No female is allowed to supervise a male, of course.
Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally? Any supervisory work in the case of beckys/Female Residents, any job that displeases their owners in the chase of stacys/Female Chattels.
Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women? No new jobs lately, no.
What is the public opinion of women holding jobs? Favorable as long as it doesn't interfere with service to the State, to men, and to their naturally subordinate role in the social order.

Formal dress at formal occasions, casual and informal ones - the former most consisting of flower dresses with nothing in particular to pay attention to, as exaggerated formality isn't much of a thing in the U.C.

Are there any jobs that women are barred from legally?
Legally, no. Traditionally, very few, see above.

Are there any jobs that have recently allowed women?
No.

It is considered normal.
