Gun Control thread.

Postby Fartsniffage » Mon Sep 16, 2019 2:22 pm

The first gun control thread was created by a proponent of gun control. The last two have been created by opponents of gun control. Perhpas the fourth should be created by a proponent of gun control again?

Just a suggestion.

I literally just quoted the first one like the past two iterations which have all started with C.M.'s direct quote. If you're really that stressed out about it, TG me what you want it to be edited to. No need to get knickers in a twist over virtual authorship on an online forum.

Here is the link to the 4th iteration.

I don't want the thread dude. But I am concerned that the poll has been controlled by anti-gun control types for the past 2 threads and think it should be balanced out by a pro-gun control thread owner this time.

It's just my opinion, I'm happy to wait for the mods to rule on it.

It shouldn't be surprising that the OP is pro gun. Nearly all the posters are pro gun. The rest are trolls, or people who thought "gun control thread" meant a thread for gun control supporters, but they leave pretty fast once they realize they'll have to actually defend their positions.

We're happier to have it resolved by the players. You've got an offer on the table. You don't need mod involvement.

This is a literal non-issue. The abortion thread has been created by pro-choicers, in fact the same pro-choicer, for 3 iterations. It's still the abortion thread.

I love that you could talk that though among your world wide web of mods so quickly. Hopefully you can do the same the next time a contentious issue crops up in moderation.

Thanks for the ruling Fris. I'll tg another player every time I would like the poll changed and leave it to their discretion. Great job.

No need to act snippy, I've literally offered 4 separate times and have yet to see a TG from you in my TG box. Still open.

I mean...nobody but the OP has the right to randomly change the poll on a particular thread. Most iterations of the UK politics thread have been started by remain supporters, the fact it was me who started it this time doesn't mean much. If someone wants the poll changing the method is the same as when Arch created it, it's the same deal with this thread.
