Do you pronounce "K's X" as "King's Christ"?
Anyway, PC MASTER RACE, begone ye console-using heathens.

So you're saying that a Japanese company doesn't get to base its terminology on the Japanese language?

I'm saying no company gets to dictate terminology that contradicts a near unanimous popular consensus. It's X because if you got a random sample of 100 PS4 gamers, 100% would say it's called x.
Which is made evident by the fact that the PS controller has existed for some 20 years and this is the first time in 20 years that anyone has even questioned it's called x.
If you have a best friend named Joe who you know for 20 years and then one day Joe finds out that the legal first name on his birth certificate is actually Frank, you don't start calling him Frank because of that, he's still Joe.

It's more akin to calling someone Joe for 20 years and then they say 'look, I know you've been calling me Joe since whenever but just to let you know my actual name is Frank'.

I call it x, circle, square and triangle. But last two don't have alternative names for the shapes
Square can be square (vierkant= 4side)or "4angle" (vierhoek)
