AURORA

"Oh well thanks very much. Anyway Natsume go on."

"Sure thing, pal just follow me and I'll show ya the way!" Natsume lead him along the halls up the stairs to the third floor. Opening 3A and leading him inside she threw open the drapes. From this angle he had a view of the forest of palm tress behind the Kitan. "That there is a forest perfect for nature walks if that suits your fancy. Now for bedding we offer retractable beds, futons or even hammocks for whatever suits your fancy!"

ANIMALPOLIS

"Oh there will be plenty going on! Fireworks at night, plenty of food, booths with games for children to play. Bonfires down at the shoreline. Really plenty to do and see. Might even be good to pay our local Shrine a visit just to talk with some of the Priestesses. They usually have good information too. Admittedly we're not as hopping as Tsubaki but we're not very sleepy when it comes to our festival. Oh looking for Amurabe huh? Well it's a bit of a ways from here." She laid out a map of the island on the counter "You're here." She pointed at the north shore and followed a little line to their village just a little bit inland. "This is our village. Amurabe is over here on the eastern shore on this patch of coast here. I know the Sheriff there too, she's nice but best not mention THAT if you pay them a visit." She refereed to the raid, a decade ago it was it was still a sore spot in the history given the timing. Justified it might have been it was sure to upset people. "It's a bit of a drive but with your vehicles I suspect you could make it in a few hours. More coastal which is nice."

"You got it!" The barman agreed. He listened to her whisper about a nearby brothel. He wasn't one to judge or anything and it was a fairly common question. "As a matter of fact." once Nagisa was finished with the map he borrowed it a moment. "Just a hop-skip from here, is the village of Okami. Has a little establishment their for that." He grabbed two fresh glasses and filled them up with a unique brew made by him in this village. "Should do you just fine." he handed the glasses over to her.

AURORA
"Thank you very much Miss Natsume, replies Patricia as she puts her bag down, followed by Daniel and Henry. If you could, all three of us will take futons if that's possible.
Also, do you have any particular shop, restaurant or place you would recommend we visit today?" she asks the young woman.

ANIMALPOLIS

"Don't worry, replies Catherine to the barman, it's not for what you think. I'm a gynecologist, and I would be curious to check how the girls working in this country are healthy. Damn, this drink is very good! she adds with a smile as she takes a sip from her glass. How much for ten bottles? she asks.

"Good, good, replies Patricia with a nod, as Catherine hands her her glass, before taking a sip too, and nodding in approval.
Anyway, she continues as she turns back to Nagisa, don't worry, we won't mention it, even though the operation didn't leave any trace here and there was no victims on your side. And besides, Her Royal Highness Duchess Marcella Villa accepted the apologies of the Empire last winter when she met our monarch's grandfathers in Sinope, Kyrenaia. So all in all, our two countries got a good start. Cheers to that!" she finishes as she gulps down the rest of her drink in one go, before putting it back on the counter and motioning for the barman to refill it.

Sho sees the young woman shouting passage to the islands. At 150 Island credits, it doesn’t seem bad for a trip to Aurora. He would like to go immediately there, bo matter how fast or slow it might take. He goes up to the capitain.

“Hi!” Sho says, credits in hand. “I would like to get to Aurora please”.

“Hey Randy, we might be able to save money if we shared rooms” Homer whispered.

“We could… Oh heck, why not. When in Rome?” Randy whispers back.

“Yes!” Homer said, “We would like one room for one week please”. He grabs out his money.

Taking the madam up the stairs with a lantern in hand "Come along just this way." The good lady introduced herself which lead to a small smirk. "Tsubaki. That's my name and you're welcome to call me that. Not often I let people do so but you being a very important person I feel it's only right. Glad to meet you. I had a feeling you were someone of quite importance, but a little surprised you opened up so quickly. Not criticizing just surprising. I guess when it comes to this part of the world I'm more used to people who have something to hide." She lead her all the way down the hall to the remaining bedroom, it was actually her own bedroom but that was her secret it didn't matter as she had other places she could stay just as easily. "This, Milady is one of our finest rooms we keep it on hold for unique guests. Sometimes even The Duchess herself stays here. So I keep it sort of off the books for such occasions. For your bill madam, if you so insist I would be glad to have you paid up for your visit with us. Baths are included for guests staying with us at the Inn so that won't be extra charge. For this room the rate is 650 NSD a night that's 1950 Island Credits. I'd also would love to have you as guest at my own table for meals and share a bath with you too. Not every day I get a chance to meet foreign royalty."

Tess smiled at Kumiko's comments, glad to hear that from her, such beautiful words. But now better focus on the issues at hand and those were both related with Satou, and like Kumiko said, better change from outfits to something new and much better than that.

"Sounds good, I hope we find something good for Satou." Tess smiled as she looked at Kumiko and Azusa talking about the latter taking care of the front.

Then meanwhile Miss Oumae led Tessy to the backroom where she was told about what she could give to her lover and both options were nice, which made her smile.

"Both of them sounds lovely, might as well buy both." she said grinning and looking at her smiling. "Sounds good or I'm advancing myself too far??"

They went upstairs with a lantern at the hands of Tsubaki she was led to her room as The Queen presented herself, smiling warmly as she heard herself presenting now formally, she explained she got surprised because of her importance and how quickly she opened herself up to tell her name. Like the owner said, everyone has something to hide and more around this part of the world.

That made Agustinas nod in agreement reply back.

"Sounds logic. Everyone always has to something to hide, no matter what, it all depends if they willing to open themselves and trust in the people they consider of trust. Trust me, if I didn't thought I trusted you I wouldn't have told you my name as so you." Agustinas looked at her, letting a beat pass.
Then they got to the room where she was to be staying the next two weeks. What a place, beautiful and interesting room it was, clearly off the books of everyone to know and clearly for someone important... And surely Tsubaki's room.

"I can clearly notice that, it's a good room Tsubaki, I have to congratulate you and your staff later on." Her Majesty said smiling and nodding at her, then she took out her wallet and paid the 27300 Credits plus 11700 as tip for her and because all problems. "Here, I do I don't take no as an answer because the extra tip, it will come in handy and is for all the problems I made you for finding a room for me." She grinned warmly as she left all her baggage on the floor and nodded with what Tsubaki said.

"Sounds perfect!! How about we go now Tsubaki, we can eat something now and then we go to the baths. Sounds good??"

A beautiful morning in AHSCA, the skies as blue as the waters themselves the palms gently swaying in the tropical breeze. Warm, no immediate threats of precipitation on the horizon for the time being it was the best perfect day for a festival. A religious festival that dated back ages but only just recently decided to become something of a public spectacle. For a long time it was considered sacred and to have random tourists watch would be very sacrilegious! After that attitudes changed, first to foreigners, nothing but trouble and imperialists, keep AHSCA isolated! in the aftermath of the devastating war which for as terrible as it was it did bring about the unified Monarch-Republic. After fears of troublesome foreigners began to melt away with time, thoughts changed to more "Well who would really care about some third-world festivities anyway?" But last year, opportunity seemed to show itself, maybe this could bring tourists to the islands. It couldn't hurt to try, worst that'd happen is few would show up but the locals would have plenty of fun. But it did prove to be a pretty good hit, only with the snag of an unexpected hurricane at the end! But conditions were looking better this year, favorable winds were sure to keep big storms away from the islands. Still, did last year's sudden storm scare off potential tourists? Maybe, numbers did seem on the down this year but things weren't terrible.

Marcella Villa wrapped up the last session of Congress for the season yesterday, and today she was to give her commencement of the festival speech. Her mind was as firmly on the work as it could be but still Aurelia did always come on her mind. She had it in good reason to understand she'd be here again this year, hopefully on better terms than last year's emotional reunion which was intended to break them apart but ended up committing them together to stand firm as a couple. It also wouldn't be all fun and games, she'd likely have some work to do because it wasn't just Aurelia, The Dancerian Prince too was attending again as he had the previous year, and the Queen of Mervay. Only Danceria had broached formal relations meeting, which Marcella was happy to oblige, while Mervay hadn't made any formal arrangements, she couldn't be a good Duchess if she didn't at least make a proper greeting with Her Grace. Her sister, Gisella whom had been feeling emboldened since her visit to Kuronami did offer to go in her sister's place but Marcella insisted this was something she had to do.

Standing above her many subjects who gathered in the square to listen to her rousing speech from their beloved Duchess, she cleared her throat and spoke.

"My Citizens, today we pay our homage to our Beloved Goddesses for our blessing big and small. AHSCA was truly blessed with such temperance and bountiful gifts from the Divine. The Dark and Light worked in perfect harmony of just right sun and just right rain. The days came and the nights came as they always do. The hurricanes this time were off to sea though it is a unfortunate that some of our friends were not as fortunate we were able to help them as they often help us. Now today bathed in light we celebrate as a people for 22-years since the end of the Great War that brought us as a union and were seen through by the Grace of the Good Ladies. Now we share our love of our lands, of each other and of our faith with the world again. Show yourselves to be the gracious hosts I know you are, the island hospitality and love we give. We've come very far and very long. When it was said we couldn't succeed we did so and now we thrive in our own special way. My love to you all, let's celebrate and prepare as our seasons change. "

Great applause and cheers came from the crowds as Marcella let out a sigh of relief she made it through without a stutter or mistake and she always wrote her own speeches so it sometimes was hit and miss. But she didn't have the best tutors for nothing. Returning inside her staff gave their usual praise of her, while she undressed to get changed into something less formal. "Yukata for you, Milady?" Her maiden asked her.

"Mmmm, I think I'd rather go something modern for a while. Yukata will be perfect for nightfall."

"Certainly miss. Wanna go for casual then? Swim, normal? Nothing at all?" Yoshi was mostly joking but it certainly wouldn't be the first for a Duchess to walk about the village completely in the buff during the event to celebrate their Goddesses. And given there were villages in AHSCA that did have compulsory nudity, it's not as though she'd never been seen in her purest state.

"Yoshi" Marcella just shook her head with a little giggle "But best keep the Navy Uniform or the Ducal Gown handy for when I get a chance to do formal meetings."

"Yes Milady."

Marcella finally picked out something good for her. Stepping from behind her dressing curtain ready to show her stuff.

"Milady, if I may be honest you look more ordinary than Duchess-ly but you do look super cute!"

"That's all I need to hear! Thanks Yoshi! Now go out and enjoy the festivities!"

"all right, but I've left the tea and any other outfits you need nearby should you need them."

The maiden bowed and excused herself. Marcella looked at herself in the mirror with a big smile. "Perfect!"

The ports were busy with mostly citizens right now coming from all islands to see the Great Island for something other than tax delivery. Aurora being the capital meant it drew tourists and visitors alike. For the tourists though, after police would inspect and clear them, they'd be given complimentary maps of the islands. They had markings on them, tourist friendly areas; The Great Temple, shrines, inns, spas, beaches, and shops. More off the beaten path areas, small unique villages with their own something to offer, and more restrictive areas like villages with enforced nudity laws. And of course two areas marked OFF LIMITS, the Mokastana Military Installation on the Northwest shore and the Kyrenaian Military Instillation on the Northeast shore. Do not enter here unless you want to be shot! (Well who knows if that'd happen but best not try it...) Beyond that just about every square kilometer of the island was fair game for exploration. Friendly messages reminding people to be clean and tidy and protect AHSCA's natural beauty were posted everywhere.

Ships from all around pulled into shore and others still crossed the rolling seas to make it. From Hoshino Island was the cute as buttons Kaori. Last year, she got herself into a rather precarious situation when the hurricane hit and alone and scared she ran off to the only place she knew best, the caves. But those caves flooded and it required the rescue by the Island's Matron Priestess and Aceus Elurion to help her. She couldn't admit how ashamed she felt for running off or that a total stranger had to save her. But she found herself quite smitten with him when she found out he was a prince of some kind. Like in books she read she was saved by a Prince (even if the Matron was the one to coax her back to safety.) Kaori wasn't like most children, her mind "didn't really work right" as her mother, Fumio put it. She didn't socialize with others well, she only barely spoke. When she did she used a puppet to do so, except with her mom, the Matron, and another family acquaintance that is. She looked sad often but once in a while you could catch a smile with her. This year she's come to Aurora, hoping once again to catch a glance of the mysterious Prince who had come in to her rescued her. She packed only two things with her, a formal kimono packed away for later. Her mother was in tow as well so not exactly alone. "Well, we're here at last, Kaori!"

Kaori looked in with wide eyes still holding to her mother's side close as can be. "Well, what shall we do first? The Temple, or something else?"

A beat of silence before Kaori kind of mumbled out "I wanna go to the baths."

"Ah I see. Well" She looked over how much cash they had on hand, which wasn't much but it was okay to splurge. "Sounds like a great plan." she took her girl by the hand so they could be along their way.

The Kitan was the premier resort spot of the island. Built up as a small little inn it was the closest thing to a 5-Star Hotel the islands hand but for a tourist from overseas a 5-star resort with a discount motel price. For an islander, a stay could be a bit pricey but not bank breaking if you came at the right time. A stay now would be expensive indeed but a soak in their public baths with other patrons would be very affordable and a great attraction.

The Kitan besides it's famous hot baths and comfy beds (or futons depending on your tastes) also had an adjacent restaurant. The entire resort was managed by just one woman who'd seen a thing or two in her time from the rise of the end of the Greater Auroran Duchy to the formation of the UIS. How old was she? For her to know and everyone else to find out! Marcella wasn't the only one expecting someone special. In the morning hours before opening doors for breakfast, Satou, a waitress at the Inn's Restaurant was wiping down tables and setting up menus all while hoping to see Tess again. She wrote a letter letting her know it was nearly festival time again and if she could get away for a while it would be great. Either way she was in a great mood, another good year indeed, having been able to go visit Mervay and getting a nice pay bump for her years of service here, and festival time was always great. The staff, busy as they were, were all allotted some personal time so they too could go have fun and pay respects to the Goddesses. Either way if Tess was simply too busy it'd be understandable, Satou would pick out a nice little charm to send to her and if she made it, that'd be the best. Being able to work but also get time to enjoy the festival was perfect for her.

Now the day is in motion, people are out and about on their routine. Ports are opened and your characters have set foot on the sandy shores of their port of entry. What will you do? The choices are yours and yours alone!

After seeing that Navy Uniform i just am glad that my country relies on Real images.

THE KITAN - WITH AVA

"Sure thing, ma'am!" She reached into the closet pulling out the floor futon and unfolding it to put it on the floor. If Ava had gone for the bed it would have simply been folded in to the wall and just as easily brought out. "I'm glad you really want to experience what our culture is like here. Some guests can be very rude and think of us like servants to be kicked around. But you're one of the good ones I can tell." She smoothed out the futon running her hands over it and stood up again. "Oh sure, ask me anything, I'll do my best to answer."

TSUBAKI - ANIMALPOLIS

Tsubaki was the bustling port city village of Animalpolis island. Also one of the hardest hit in the war when occupied but had risen from the ashes and was bustling and busy. Most of the residents being some kind of animal-eared folks and other types of species wandering the roads and a fair share of humans here. All kinds welcome as this was meant as a sanctuary from the prejudices of the world. Busy it was given the seasons were changing some folks were hoping to cash in their crops while they could before the rains would swamp their fields and others were setting off from shore for one last catch before the seas would become too rough. If any passerby accidentally bumped the arriving ladies they gave a "pardon me." or "forgive me" as they moved along, more rude ones would be like "Watch out ya tourists!"

Shino Nibutani a young Priestess sad to see such a sight went to greet the ladies. "Oh please don't think all residents are so rude. Welcome to Animalpolis! Can I be of some help for you?"

I indeed followed the street and happened upon two girls, one of which was indeed Mamiko - her friend, Shiina, apparently, and her were painting a sign, and not only did the sign look cute, so did the two.
I smiled as I watched them put on the finishing touches, correcting the mistake.
I read the sign as they had finished it and was slightly startled at Mamiko's shout. I giggled.
"Well, someone's enthusiastic today!", I said with a smile. The Twin Palms - this was the name of the shop, then. It fitted. "I do not doubt that you have special offers for today... I take one are coral necklaces?"
My Grandmother had a necklace of seashells, which she adored and wore whenever she could. Maybe I now knew, what I would bring along for her as a souvenir?
Aldhiyb stood at my side, his tail waving back and forth.

I smiled slightly at the compliments - if Ren would know me, she would decidedly not think that...
"I've been a servant in one form or the other for quite some time, so I know, how long of a way a little politeness goes.", I told her with a smile, then nodded, "Right, I wanted to ask you a question... it may come off as rude, but... are you like me? A Spiorad?"
I cocked my head slightly and, I didn't notice it, but my ears folded down in a bit of shyness.

The harbour was a village, but a bustling one, with much going on - vendors and merchants, all of them were offering their wares and much was going on.
Someone indeed bumped into Princess Fara, my hand shooting to my weapon, awaiting an assassination attempt (I was a bit iffy as of late), but it was just someone rude. "Watch out ya tourists!", he called.
"Right, sorry.", Fara replied, but I saw in her eyes, that she was not exactly meaning it.
Apparently, however, we had been watched by a girl with fox ears in the dress of Priestess, who came over and told us: "Oh please don't think all residents are so rude. Welcome to Animalpolis! Can I be of some help for you?"
Fara smiled and bowed her head. "Thank you, Ma'am.", she said politely, "The offer is very much appreciated, as we are indeed looking for a place to eat at."

Sabin Castamir, Prince-Ducal of Figaro

Lobby, The Kitan, Aurora Port

"Whatever's the readiest available, one does not simply partake in the famed Aschan bath without having good company to have conversation while in it." Sabin smiled. While public baths have-and are unlikely to be-A Dancerian staple outside of gymnasiums, the concept of a blueblood being equal, or at least comparable in merit to a "commoner" resounded with him. Of course, such antiquated notions were long behind him, any such elitism was thoroughly quashed during the Partisan Wars. Yet even though he was technically on official business, and technically having an appointment with the Aschan government on behalf of His Majesty of Danceria, this couldn't mean that he wouldn't enjoy himself or get to know the people.

In spite of recent events, and what Aceus may think of himself, Sabin still admired him. Sure, he may have made mistakes, and had to endure...a great deal of hardships, but he pushed through. Endurance was a trait most admired in the athlete, and he didn't wish to disappoint his lordly cousin by fumbling with his words. After all, if he could speak to someone while stark naked, conversing with the who's who of ASCHA would be a piece of cake!

Aceus Elurion, King of Danceria

Pub, Misakichi Village, Animalopolis

"Just rice and green tea." A shockingly simple and almost plain meal, but he didn't come here to indulge in the local cuisine. Just enough food to keep him going forward, and to keep him on his journey. The waiter wouldn't be wrong about being suspicious. The man hardly spoke to folks around him unless spoken to, kept to himself, and was sitting in a corner. Nothing could be discerned about him save for well worn robes similar to what the clergy would wear, and a suspiciously large rucksack that carried a guitar. He had yet to play said guitar, or really give any specific answers about where he came from. All he really said was that he was a pilgrim come for the more religious aspects of the festival, and that was the truth.

Relieved that whatever altercation the Sheriff had to go and deal with was resolved peacefully, the man ate his food and drank his tea quietly after thanking the waiter. The man would be yet another face in the crowd, and eventually, another person come to petition the priestess once his meal was done. He had not come to linger for the festivities but rather to fulfill an oath made. As a god had been carried from ASCHA to the lofty palatial gardens of Castle Orthanc, so too will he be returned home once more with prayers,

AURORA

"Sure thing!" She pulled out three rolled futons out of the closet and smoothed them out with her hands. "Well for good dining, you can't go wrong with our join just next door. Lots of good food. Out in the village, plenty of good little shops and stands that got anything we can cook up around here. Some great blends of foreign cuisine from our friends. For good shopping, I'd go along the boardwalk, the road that leads off to the docks. Lots of good little shops along there. Twin Palms has a lots of good stuff, local and foreign too. I'd say go for The Kitan restaurant first then venture out and see what other cuisine is in the village."

"Ooooh." He nodded understanding "Very well then." Again not one to judge but a doctor coming to see wasn't an uncommon sight around these parts. "Oh for 10 it's 3500 Credits. I can get you a case right now if you like or keep it in your room until you're ready to move on."

Nagisa smiled when she got her tea, she toasted to that "Well I'm glad Her Majesty worked it all out it in the end." The barkeep poured another fresh glass for the visitor. "Other than that, I'm sure things will go smoothly for your visit here. Even if we seem prone to being a bit scared of our own shadows, we're really a friendly and hospitable bunch here."

"Sure thing, climb on aboard! It'll be a few hours trip but be assured I got ya in good hands. Weather's good today and wind is strong so we should make good time!"

EN ROUTE TO AURORA

Once everyone was aboard and secure she could set off from port. As promised today was shaping up to be good the skies blue but no doubt the seas strong but not too strong. "How ya folks holdin' up here, doin' okay? Some prone to seasickness and all."

ON AURORA

"Sure thing. One room for two." She took their money and noted them down in her ledger. "Oi, Sakura!"

She summoned a young lady. "Show these two gentlemen to their room will you?"

"Yes ma'am. Please follow me!" She lead them down the hall to a small room. Opening the window to let the breeze in and setting an oil lamp down on the desk for when night would fall. "Everything to your liking, anything more I can bring you or do for you?"

They went upstairs with a lantern at the hands of Tsubaki she was led to her room as The Queen presented herself, smiling warmly as she heard herself presenting now formally, she explained she got surprised because of her importance and how quickly she opened herself up to tell her name. Like the owner said, everyone has something to hide and more around this part of the world.

That made Agustinas nod in agreement reply back.

"Sounds logic. Everyone always has to something to hide, no matter what, it all depends if they willing to open themselves and trust in the people they consider of trust. Trust me, if I didn't thought I trusted you I wouldn't have told you my name as so you." Agustinas looked at her, letting a beat pass.
Then they got to the room where she was to be staying the next two weeks. What a place, beautiful and interesting room it was, clearly off the books of everyone to know and clearly for someone important... And surely Tsubaki's room.

"I can clearly notice that, it's a good room Tsubaki, I have to congratulate you and your staff later on." Her Majesty said smiling and nodding at her, then she took out her wallet and paid the 27300 Credits plus 11700 as tip for her and because all problems. She grinned warmly as she left all her baggage on the floor and nodded with what Tsubaki said.

There's honestly never been set customs to what a proposer gives to the one they love, some just have their words to offer, some offer some kind of dowry like a big fish or a boat they build. She continued to lead The Good Lady of Mervay along through the employee corridors along to the restaurant itself. Taking a seat along with her at her own private table it wasn't a second before their waitress greeted them. "Ah manager, good evening."

"Wonderful. I have a very special guest with me this evening, if you could see to moving one of your tables onto another waitress?"

I indeed followed the street and happened upon two girls, one of which was indeed Mamiko - her friend, Shiina, apparently, and her were painting a sign, and not only did the sign look cute, so did the two.

"Just rice and green tea." A shockingly simple and almost plain meal, but he didn't come here to indulge in the local cuisine. Just enough food to keep him going forward, and to keep him on his journey. The waiter wouldn't be wrong about being suspicious. The man hardly spoke to folks around him unless spoken to, kept to himself, and was sitting in a corner. Nothing could be discerned about him save for well worn robes similar to what the clergy would wear, and a suspiciously large rucksack that carried a guitar. He had yet to play said guitar, or really give any specific answers about where he came from. All he really said was that he was a pilgrim come for the more religious aspects of the festival, and that was the truth.

Relieved that whatever altercation the Sheriff had to go and deal with was resolved peacefully, the man ate his food and drank his tea quietly after thanking the waiter. The man would be yet another face in the crowd, and eventually, another person come to petition the priestess once his meal was done. He had not come to linger for the festivities but rather to fulfill an oath made. As a god had been carried from ASCHA to the lofty palatial gardens of Castle Orthanc, so too will he be returned home once more with prayers,

Gladly, the situation was cleared up as our companion was chewing out both the pregnant woman, Hisako, apparently, and her husband, Shinji. I was about to give them a piece of my mind as well, but something prevented me from straying from my Princess' side.
I knew, what she was thinking.

Being a Personal Handmaiden had the added bonus of being close enough to the Master to freely take her hand and give it a soft, reassuring squeeze.

Nagisa sipped on her tea some more. "I'm just a beat cop but I have a good feeling The UIS will feel the same. We've made friends with Kyrenaia and others, you folks seems just as nice I bet we'll get along just great. Glad you get to come here and enjoy some of the festival and some personal time."

Kiki took the rubbing as a sign he was looking for more affection and hopped down from her stool to resume petting him. "Good doggy. Cute doggy!"

“Oh I’m good. Don’t worry” Sho says as he looks out into the open sea, gazing in at its beauty. The vast ocean reminded him of home, coming from an island nation himself. He always loved the beauty of nature and would always take opportunities to travel to the national parks at home. Travelling to a foreign land for the first time by himself, he can get close to nature of the neighboring nations and gaze in its splendor and beauty.

“Wow! This is lovely. The ocean and sky is just as beautiful as it is at home”.

Homer and Randy follow the young girl to the room. It was a small room but they could manage to fit in without trouble. The young girl opens the window and the cool island breeze is let in, cooling down the two guys.

“Oh it’s perfect” Randy says.

“Yeah” Homer responds, “We’ll just put our stuff here and head out into town”.

"Throughout the whole journey here, I had a sinking feeling in my gut that we didn't bring enough money... but this is actually fairly cheap." Financing the trip was something Meausa made sure she was absolutely in charge of, having little faith in Noeanyyn not taking conversions and inflations into account and accidentally taking little more than pocket change with her when converted into the UIS's Credits.

"Wait... did you say public baths?" Noeanyyn butted in. "You mean, like, everyone's naked and stuff?"

"N-Noeanyyn, let's not worry about that right now." Meausa turned back to Natsume. "So, which room is ours? Oh! And I don't believe we caught your name, miss?"

"That just sounds, like, really neat! The public baths, I mean. We have saunas and stuff at home, but I don't think we have public baths, can we-"

Meausa turned back to Natsume to pay for the room, keeping an ear out for Jorunna's response though paying little notice to Lucius' comment on their things. Noeanyyn, on the other hand, stood to attention the instant she heard the words 'glass bottles'. Slowly shuffling over to Lucius without Meausa noticing and craining her neck to look up at him, eyes sparkling, she said "Glass bottles? You have be-" before stopping herself when she realised her volume, then taking another look at Meausa, who was still busy with Natsume. She lowered her voice and whispered "You have beer? Is it from Lillorainen?"

"Well, on the surface, the Empire is clearly militarist, replies the female Petrenko to Nagisa, but that's to show we're ready to defend ourselves if we're messed with. But deep down, we are very nice. I don't doubt that we'll egt along just great, but what I fear is that Kyrenaia, whose relation to the Empire is not the best every time, might interpret this as stepping in their sphere of influence. Especially given the fact we have just started taking control of this nameless archipelago of twelve islands 250 km south of here, and will develop it with military bases and such.

She lead them around to a table nestled by the windows which gave them a view of the ocean. "Here we are. Tanya will be with you in a moment."

It was a moment their waitress arrived "Good day, folks. My name is Tanya and I'll be serving you today. Why don't I start you with some drinks. We have many fresh brewed varieties of tea. We also have coffee, cold fresh water and various alcoholic beverages."

"Well I'll have to assume Her Majesty will find a way to mend any gaps with that. In the meantime I hope you have an enjoyable stay here. Now I best get out on my rounds." She hopped off the stool. "Kiki. You be a good girl now, mind yourself."

Azusa agreed with Aurelia's sentiment and let out a cooing, "Isn't she?!" Referring to how adorable Mamiko was "Kumiko really is so fortunate to have such a sweet little girl. Ah provisions huh? Sailor right? I got plenty of good supplies in, but for more technical gear like rigging I'll have to point you to some more specialty shops for sailors. And yes we do have quite a few coral necklaces on special. We only harvest a small amount of coral a year to make these so they're usually a high end product." she lead her over to the counter pulling out a little display case with one particular necklace in it. "Like this one. normally 1900 but we're slashing half off to 1600. the coral is real too, we of course dull it down and smooth it so it won't cut up your neck!" She laughed "But would you like to try it on?"

"Wonderful!" Ren blushed a little at the sound of saying she had a date and well who could blame her with how pretty Ava was. "Right in front of the Kitan it will be. I'll be in my best yukata too. But you can wear whatever you like. And well...I suppose it will be okay for me to call you Ava when I'm off duty at least." she smiled still blushing a little. "Anyway....I best get back to my rounds. Enjoy yourself here. I'll see you tonight!" She bowed and excused herself to continue working, now counting down the hours until tonight.

"Oh you're so welcome! I'm glad it's to your liking." She nodded taking in the names of the few places in the Sultanate that were suggested first. "Ah right. Hot desert, best keep safe and healthy and not overexert myself. Good advice."

Noeanyyn, on the other hand, stood to attention the instant she heard the words 'glass bottles'. Slowly shuffling over to Lucius without Meausa noticing and craining her neck to look up at him, eyes sparkling, she said "Glass bottles? You have be-" before stopping herself when she realised her volume, then taking another look at Meausa, who was still busy with Natsume. She lowered her voice and whispered "You have beer? Is it from Lillorainen?"

While Meausa was conducting the payment, the Lillorainians prepared for doing the same - or rather, Jorunna did. Meausa had asked Jorunna for the four Lillos' plans after checking in, and kept listening, so Jorunna could reply, "Hm, to be honest, we haven't agreed on a plan yet. Lucius is curious for the town, Gesine and I are more into going to some beach, and Freya would prefer to get a few hours of sleep." She swallowed a comment on Freya's age down and shrugged. "We might either separate, or yet find an agreement. What are you lassies up to."
Neither Meausa, nor Jorunna noticed, how Noeanyyn stood straight and attentive like a soldier ready for receiving a Commander's orders, as she heard, that Lucius, Gesine, and Freya were obviously transporting glass bottles in their backpacks. The size difference between Lucius and Noeanyyn, as well as his deep, sonorous voice made Lucius seem like a father talking to his daughter - although Lucius was only about five years older than Noeanyyn.
"We have various stuff around" - he replied and shrugged. "But indeed, it's all from Lillorainen. We will try the locals' drinks, too, though, for they surely have a few things we have never heard of. But for the case, that it's complicated to get in here - which we don't really expect it to be, but one never knows -, we brought some stuff to celebrate our arrival later on."
When Meausa finished payment, Natsune talked to Jorunna and Freya, who had joined in.
"We are planning to split up" - Freya explained to Natsune, "a single room for me, another single room for the lad over there." She motioned to Lucius with her head. They had agreed on that beforehand, for of course, they would possibly need their rooms for work as well.

Gods, it was beautiful! It looked so delicate, that Azusa's offer almost seemed like blasphemy, but my curiosity made me say: "If you don't mind, I would love to."
Well, maybe this one would not be Grandmother's Souvenir...

I would wear something nice, too, my smile would tell Ren as she mentioned her best Yukata - I had a date! With another girl, but that would not be an issue, at least not for me.
I smiled and returned the bow as Ren excused herself, waving her goodbye.
She was really cute.
The door closed and I was alone for the time being.
I threw myself back onto the futon - those things were more comfortable then they looked, that was for sure! I exhaled and smiled... this was a good day already! A gorgeous, foreign country, a date tonight, a week of vacation in front of me - what more could I ask for?
Right, I was a bit smelly due to the trip, but there was a simple solution for it. I unpacked my bags, got my washbag, undressed only to change into a more loosely fitting blouse and lighter pants and then went downstairs, towards the baths and the reception counter there.

Sho just looked over to the islands that were a distance away from the boat. It was a distance, but Sho could still see how beautiful these islands are in their beauty. The oceans are beautiful, but the islands in the distance looked even beautiful.

Enjoying the breeze of the sea and what AHSCA has to offer after an stressful year.
They took a seat at Tsubaki's private table and in less than a minute, their waitress came, blonde, blue eyed, dressed in a maid dress. As she greeted them, she greeted back. After a little talk about her being her maid for the evening, she took her orders for drink.

"I would like some green tea too. And since I'm free and don't have to worry too, I would like sake too." Agustinas smiled at the waitress as she ordered her drinks. Now she was free and calm to enjoy.

Natsume gave a firm pat to their shoulder, "Not a problem at all, we got just enough to fit all of you! Come on with me just this way." She lead them only a few doors down. "Ladies, 1H here for you. And you good sir, 1I." She opened both doors for them going into each room to do the usual duties, opening the drapes to let in the sunlight and pointing out ammenties of the room. "We offer beds or futons for your desire. Beds are just stored in the wall and futons are in the closet."

"Of course." She helped her try it on, and showed a mirror. "It looks stunning on you! Really compliments your skin tone and hair. What do you think, like it enough for me to wrap it up, or would you like to see some more goods?"

Some had gems in them others were just rings with engraving marks on them. "Anything you like?"

"All right, two sake and two green tea! I'll also bring out favorite appetizer, crab cakes to start with and if you wish for an entree just flag me down and I'll get it started."

I looked at my reflection, turned a bit to the right, then to the left.
It indeed looked pretty, but I was not yet convinced - even for a Kyrenaian Princess, this was a complicated decision, although I had enough money to buy the shop's inventory, the building, the street and half of the island... it had to look good, after all.
Though did it?
Or were there better options?
"Let's see, what else you have!", I told Azusa with a smile and a nod.

Fara nodded. "Those sound pretty. I wonder what they mean...", she said, "Though, my parents had similar issues when they named me and my siblings. They named me Fara after my Mother's Grandmother, a famous woman in my country. It'll most likely not tell you anything, if I tell you her name."

A medium-light seaplane with Air Alaska markings landing in the harbor failed to attract any undue attention; though scheduled flights to the islands weren't that common, during festival season there were likely to be a few, and it wasn't as if Alaska was on the other end of the world. Not exactly next door, either, but still.

Sometime later, after the airplane had taxied to the docks, unloaded, and turned away, three tourists walked along the street. Two of them, kitsune, looked like they may well belong here, but the third was... certainly different.

While not worried, they seemed unsure of where to head first; given how much one of them stood out, it probably wouldn't be long until someone talked to them.

As the boat was reaching towards Port Aurora, Sho come to the realization that he doesn't know where to stay for tonight, let alone know what to do when he gets there. Jellal must have forgotten to mention that. From what he has heard, he can probably stay at the temple. Considering the nature of the islands, he might go on a hike or just walk through the scenery. He feels calm as the boat reaches her final destination.

The Men were a little weary from the man’s… not so friendly attitude towards them, but the young woman steps out and shoos him off. ’What’s his problem?’ They thought, as they believe tourism is the best way to boost a local economy, but that doesn’t matter. The woman kindly started to serve them beverages.

“Sake? That’s that Japanese rice wine isn’t it” Randy asked, to which he adds “I always wanted to try that!”

“Okay! We’ll have three… no FOUR mugs of the local brew, some sake, and any snacks you may have!”. This may not be the best choice for them, but Homer has a hefty alcohol tolerance level from drinking beer for almost his entire adult life, and Randy is about the same.

The three Alenbergers would normally be a strange sight-an old gentleman, dressed in a uniform reminiscent of that of a British officer, circa 1910, and with a pistol(apparently a Browning Hi-Power) hanging from a belt, who walked hand-in-hand with an equally-old, and well-dressed woman(his wife?). Shortly behind them was a far younger woman, also rather well-dressed.
There were only two places that this wouldn't cause people to bat an eye.

Pertrucia visibly perked up when she heard the hawking(or advertising) of food.
The in-flight meal had been a large, heavy affair, and while Trias and Viva had managed to stomach it, she wasn't so lucky, and what goes down...must come up.
Obviously, of course, she was starving right now, so she broke ranks with Trias and Viva, and approached one of the young women-specifically, the one advertising squid.
"Good morning. You mentioned fresh squid?"
