in-scenario you have no reason to suspect that you are the real Annie, as far as you know, the Witch Queen is dead and you are just a peasant woman without parents

Nope. I don't accept it. Particularly, I don't accept your insistence upon putting us in a setting, and then immediately disregarding the consequences of the setting.
You routinely over-complicate your hypotheticals with details that actively thwart them, and then hand-wave away all reasonable criticism of your incompetence.
The worst part is: almost always these details are pointless. Including them added nothing of value.

1. why would you not work with the king?
2. why wouldn't you want to benefit yourself and your family (while serving the king)?
Debout, les damnés de la terre
Debout, les forçats de la faim
La raison tonne en son cratère
C'est l'éruption de la fin
Du passé faisons table rase
Foule esclave, debout, debout
Le monde va changer de base
Nous ne sommes rien, soyons tout

1. Because the King is a tyrant who wants me to prop up his autocracy.
2. Because there is more at stake than me, more than the frail remnants of this body: Liberté, égalité, fraternité!
And, with my last words, I shall tell the assembled masses:Debout, les damnés de la terre
Debout, les forçats de la faim
La raison tonne en son cratère
C'est l'éruption de la fin

what about your adoptive parents?
you would repay their kindness by endangering them?
have you not considered that you can perhaps do more for the people by having the ear of the nobles?

The king is an autocrat, who believes he has the "divine right" to rule others. History shows that Kings who believe in their autocratic right to rule are quick to chop off the heads of those who question them -- even their own councillors.
So, no. Once someone believes they have a "divine right", they cannot be reasoned with. And propping up an inherently corrupt system is something that -- taking into account my RL self (which you said I am meant to do) -- I cannot do. Also, if my adoptive family are anything like my real family, they wouldn't want me to.
