I see no real reason to answer your questions when you are incapable of answering mine. If you don't have the basic human courtesy to answer questions why should anyone have the courtesy to answer yours?

I'll only do so because the question is so insane, so baseless, so unhinged from reality that the answer I provide gives you the full scorn such a stupid attempt at a gotcha deserves.

No - and I have no idea why you rationally would think I might believe that, because at no point have I said it was. I'm confident it is amongst the most popular current solutions amongst the electorate, but that no solution is actually "popular" amongst the bulk of the electorate:

I believe I was very clear that my scorn was directed at the post, not the poster. But I put it to you, oh modly powers, to determine if I crossed the line.

Isn't it curious how people will claim they are against tribalism, then pigeonhole themselves into tribes?

Not sure why you are reporting yourself about this. Not seeing anything as actionable.

<shrugs> I'd rather know I've not crossed any lines when I've dropped the snark, and it's also useful to counter any accusations of attacking the poster to say that an uninvolved third party doesn't see any evidence of that.

Think of it as an inverse mods as weapons. "Mods as shields" if you will. Not something I'd do often, but if it staves off the silly accusations then it means more focusing on the important stuff, which we do tend to be in short supply of in NSG.

A different report, but in the same thread:

This way we can solve our issues with the shortage of people taking up unskilled labour, which could result in a higher standard of living for everybody else. We'd attract so much investment that we'd become the next super-rich nation!
