Banning the use of any symbols that has any context related to the opposition is prohibited according the 1848 Constitution of the RSFS Okstovskaya, as it is a violation of civil and political rights (S.19 C.3-ct.12b). This includes the protection of rights to publicly show fascist, nationalistic, imperialist, racist, anti-religious, anti-communist, and political correctivist symbols or flags.
Although it is constitutionally legal to fly, for example, a Nazist flag in public, like the flag of the Okstov Nazi Party, such stunts are, for the Okstov society, anti-human and absurd acts, hence that these events are controversial. Netizens despise such symbols, often encouraging the masses to mutilate any physical symbols shown outside personal property, or distantly visible if within personal property. That, of course, is the entrance in personal property without permission or consent, or simply trespassing.
The Socialist Government allows the flying of opposition flags within government premises. But in and during Independence Day of August 31st, only leftist/leftic flags are allowed to be flown around the country, with the exception of the unofficial flag of the country during the nationalist dictatorship of Agruto Pïçeto from ~1973-late 1980s, which presents a fasces in the middle of a modified RSFSO flag, replacing the hammer and sickle. The historical flag will be already hoisted before the nationwide holiday, on 20:00-23:00 pm of Aug. 30th, and will be lowered in the afternoon of 31st, touching the dirt-covered ground, and burned, as an act of denouncing the Piçeto regime. It is often led by the three High Executife officials, particularly the President.
