This isn't the thread to discuss Enadia's issues with other parties, either. If there's criticism towards Enadia, the Enadian GP thread is the appropriate place to put it. Not here.

I read these latest posts in this thread, and I am honestly very grateful that this discussion happened at all. It's better to be talked about than allowed to slide.

There are babies who play the game, AND I am grateful to find out from Vinny that TGW is *completely* dropping their Daddy and Any/all sexual connotations (whether accidental, intentional, unintentional or otherwise) and going clean from now onwards. Please keep your word and don't screw up. There are 13year olds in this game and 2019 society is vastly different from 1990s or 2013 or 2008 society. There are more predators on the Internet and I've been hit on and I'm not even a minor anymore, but I was when I was on NS and got hit on too. It's always good to quit anything that even LOOKS connotative when writing anything official sounding.

It's completely possible and if people say it's impossible, I'd like to point out my PoliticsAndWar alliance in a different game. But I won't expand much on this thread, DM me if you need to know why it's possible to run a completely active community without any baiting, flamebaiting, goading people into flaming, or any of that rotten mess.

There are standards and everyone should be completely clean. Thank you.

We are also reigning in the gloat post process a bit to give it more oversight. It's traditionally been too hands-off, people just write whatever and we haven't exercised much in the way of proactive leadership over them. We'll be more careful about screening the proposed posts to make sure they entertain in a fun way and not devolve into bullying or baiting. Some level of smack is still expected, but we want to back away from the type of content we've often pushed out there in the past and very recent past.

Good morning, gameplay!

Due to my great PR acumen and finely tuned sensibilities, I have now been appointed by the Order of the Grey Wardens to serve as its official ambassador to the NationStates gameplay forum. Hi!

And now that I'm here, I have some announcements to make!

New First Warden!

We have a new First Warden! With Vincent Drake going off to chase Kyogres and Rayquazas rather than raiders, we needed a new person to be the face of the Order. As usual, the Commanders Chambers engaged in the usual process of picking a new First Warden involving musical chairs, duck duck goose, alcohol, and frequent trips to the golf club we built outside of our favorite salt mine. Candidates in the running were Tim, Merlin, Roavin, Onderkelkia (because Tim logged into the wrong Discord account tbf), Curious Observations (because I deliberately logged into the "wrong" Discord account), and HC. After months of deliberation, it was decided that Hired Contractor (now rebranded as Haku) won the spot, and has now taken the spot of primary target of defender blaming on Gameplay. Congratulations!

We're the best at flags too!

We noticed that there is a flag contest hosted by The Black Hawks. The requirements are simple:

To be a valid TBH flag entry, the flag must either contain:
a) At least 3/4 elements of a standard TBH flag, or
b) 2/4 elements and be submitted with the worst joke you know.
The 4 elements are: something vaguely globe-like, some sort of weapon, something bird-like, and the classic side-bars

Our Media department got to work and produced this piece of art worthy of being hung alongside any work of Da Vinci:

This entry is so great it doesn't simply meet the minimum requirements, it meets all the requirements.

• "something vaguely globe-like": We included Earth, where we live. And yes, I mean the planet, before anybody gets negative flashbacks (see, told you I have finely tuned sensibilities).
• "some sort of weapon": We included the Avenger sword from Dragons Age, with an NSBreeze++ inlay. Truly the greatest weapon.
• "something bird-like": The Wardens Griffon should do the trick. Much better than a Hawk for sure.
• "the classic side-bars": I guess Hawks like watching old 4:3 movies on a widescreen or something but whatever, we included it.

Furthermore, the flag is formatted in such a way that it can be flown as the largest possible nation flag on NationStates (see this very nation), and last but not least, by being a TBH flag, it inherently includes the worst joke we know.

Oh btw we can win too (surprising exactly noone)

This last major update, three Wardens and a good friend set out to chase Lily. It was a fun update with voice chat and chasing, with another fun voice chat session post update, involving good feeling and congratulations all around for a job well done by both Lily and TGW, all in the spirit of good sportsmanship. Oh also we racked up 23 wins against Lily despite NationStates having some ridiculous spikes of slowness.

This report is a reference to unexpected happenings in voice chat caused by the joining of Roavin's daughter. Please pardon my lack of knowledge about the subject.



Much like how Winnie the Pooh loves honey, Vinny the Pooh loves chasing.

On the spooky, spooky night of Friday the 13th, the gang from Libcord noticed The Black Hawks setting 40 triggers, a low stamina raid as usual, but a raid nonetheless. Naturally, our very own Vinny the Pooh, who much like how Winnie the Pooh loves honey, deeply loves chasing and defending. The Black Hawks decided that the sight of Vinny the Pooh was too much to handle and decided to skip raiding for the night out of fear, leaving Vinny the Pooh in tears as he now had nothing to chase.

However, our pals from Lily and some random noob raiders decided to provide entertainment for Vinny the Pooh and the rest of the Libcord team. In another fun Libcord-Lily joint voice chat, we chatted throughout update and for awhile after update in some good fun and ended up getting 40 defences, almost breaking our chase defence record that we set only two months ago.

tl;dr The Grey Wardens and allies got the same number of defenses as The Black Hawks had set triggers for the night, thus showing that we're pretty fr*cking good.
