Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

I wrote a long winded breakdown talking about how a fairly decent company isn't bad but fanboys over hype it. Get ride of it because it was written at 2 in the morning, wasn't interesting, and read like fanboy crap. I end up cutting everything aside from the other companies bit and then accidentally leave the word demonise which was in reference to something else. Saying that you where "hating on" the company would have probably been a better choice of words by my part but I suspect I'd of still woken up to being called an illiterate fanboy of a company who's games I don't play.

Calling out a company as overhyped and doing nothing else still doesn't really qualify as "hating on" anything, so yeah you probably would have been.

Gears 5 is pretty sweet so far. Feels like a big improvement from Gears 4.

I mean, why not? It’s an MMO, and it’s gotten pretty big.

What

I think the issue is that it thinks it has to download twice, because the files you download through Steam (which are for the base game only) aren't recognized by the launcher, until it starts downloading. At that point, it recognizes the Steam files, and then it just downloads updates and patches. At least that's what I got from this.

I got it through the Xbone version cause I could get it for 10 bucks. It's nice to know that across systems it takes up an absurd amount of space.

A MMO game on your pc is usually 40 GB to 80 or so.

ESO is something else. I’ve heard complaints about its size before, and I can see why.

Well, I mean it’s already a big game before any technical hiccups come into play.

I picked up minecraft again after years. It asked me to log in and I don't remember the password for the account I had been using for years and I actually had to buy it. Not regretting it though, shit's still fun. Other two dudes in my server are off killing each other and mining and I'm just farming and keeping the pigs around. I missed this, I missed it a lot.

As much as i am enjoying gears 5 ive encountered a fair few annoying bugs with checkpoints not saving properly causing you to be stuck unable to progress unless you exit the game completely and reload it, one time this happened and i had to go back to the end of a previous area and do a boss fight all over again which was fun, losing about 20-30 minutes of progress.

Also had the game lock itself on the pause menu once, requiring another exit and restart though didnt lose much progress when that one in particular happened.

Completed Gears 5, very enjoyable campaign, had a great time with it bar the instability and bugs. Honestly i'd put it on par with Gears 1 and 2 for how much i enjoyed it.

Not played the multiplayer yet, heard there are some serious server issues at the moment.

Wasn't RDR2 something like 105 GB?

Matriarch boss fight

Shoot the ice underneath it when it charges then fire into its back.

When it does the vision things just stay away from it and stay behind the pillars if possible when it throws a spike

Ive found the retro lancer to be quite handy in this fight due to its high damage and when you are at its back the accuracy doesnt matter
