USA Ambassador Gloria Valenzuela Defends Her Statements while President Bergmann Calls for Her Resignation

Following USA Ambassador Gloria Valenzuela's condemnation of President Bergmann's revamp of the Smoyan nuclear program, President Bergmann fired back and immediately denounced her "reactionary response" and suggested she should resign because of her lack of communication with the Department of Foreign Affairs beforehand. "The words of Ms. Valenzuela do not accurately reflect the will of the Smoyan people nor any belief on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs," firmly affirmed the President. In order to quicken the process of removing Ms. Valenzuela from her position, Mr. Bergmann has proposed an act of duty to the National Assembly that would legally remove Valenzuela from power and install a new ambassador, with the Assembly's approval of course.

Ms. Valenzuela defended her statements and denied any accusations of wrongdoing. "Ambassador protocol specifically says that before voting I must consult with the Department," she retorted earlier this morning. "I did not vote nor ask anyone to vote a particular way. I simply called for concerned nations to come to the table so that we can all discuss these events in a formal manner, rather than immediately finger-pointing and chipping at the foundations of international peace. Nevertheless, my own personal belief still stands that the President is in the wrong to rebuilt nuclear weapons and suggest that have a place in international diplomacy."

After reaching out to the Department of Foreign Affairs, no clear response has been given. Secretary Alaina Anwar, a staunch supporter of Mr. Bergmann's belief that Smoya should maintain its status a global leader, has not yet publicly come out with a statement to convey the stance of her department. However, she did say that "nobody's words should be interpreted as a formal representation of the Department of Foreign Affairs," hinting that the department is yet to declare its position in the matter.

Acting PM Raio Foranel Holds A Negotiation With Vesvai’s PM Jonathan Mollisal Over The Phone About Mutual Military Build-Up At Shared Border

Acting Prime Minister Raio Foranel is now in a middle of a tense negotiation with Vesvai’s Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal. Both heads of government are holding an important phone call with each other about the two-sided military build-up that is happening at the border between both nations. New Vesvai and the Dominion of Vesvai have been both locked in a military build-up race trying to outgrow each other’s forces numbers at the border. New Vesvai started the build-up when the Vesvaian Revolutionary Army informed the government that the Royal Vesvaian Security Forces from the Dominion of Vesvai have been growing the number of their forces at the border. It looked suspiciously like a preparation for an invasion of New Vesvai. The Dominion of Vesvai justified its build-up by saying that its National Intelligence Agency supposedly had information that New Vesvai was the one preparing for an invasion of the Dominion of Vesvai. The build-up was Vesvai’s way of responding to a supposed planned invasion before New Vesvai could even start mobilizing. The response to Vesvai’s military build-up was an identical build-up of New Vesvai’s forces at the border. The transitional government allowed VRA to not only catch-up to Vesvai’s numbers but surpass them to deter Vesvai’s invasion. The transitional government obviously rejected Vesvai’s claims as ridiculous. Officials reminded that New Vesvai had just undergone a revolution and now has a transitional government until an election is held. Revolutionary New Vesvai is not in a strong enough state to plan any sort of invasion. The nation is too tangled up in its own problems right now. But propaganda of the Dominion of Vesvai hints that the military in New Vesvai holds more influence and power over the transitional government. But rather than exchange heated rhetoric it is important for both Prime Ministers to now reach an agreement to stabilize the situation and cease the mutual build-up.

Nuclear Trade Ban Passes Through Parliament

The parliament of Rhodevus has announced that it will be implementing a total uranium-trade halt on Smoya. What is becoming known as the Nuclear Trade Ban will limit the sale of all fissionable goods from Rhodevus to Smoya, as well as put a stop to all trade agreements with Smoya which contain details for fissionable, radioactive or nuclear-related goods and services.
This is in line with Rhodevus’s decades long policy of nuclear disarmament and anti-nuclear proliferation.

“The nation of Smoya, a long-time ally of Rhodevus is working to not only become a nuclear power, but to create one of the largest nuclear-stockpiles in modern Sunalaya. This move is a spit in the face of everything our nation of Rhodevus has worked since the 1980s to try and accomplish. Rhodevus should not and cannot support the actions of a state who wishes to promote the archaic and barbaric philosophy of Mutually Assured Destruction. MAD,” said house representative Angelei Kurkosiv in an open House of Commons session this morning.

Her words were backed up by Queen Diana Wolff, who attended this morning’s session and laid her conditional support for the Nuclear Trade Ban. “Rhodevus and Smoya are allies and should act as allies. While the actions of one government should not wholly reflect on its people, it should still reflect on the majority views of said people. We must act as both ally and friend to our opposites in the Smoyan parliament. It was during my reign in which our own nuclear stockpiles were destroyed. I will not see the hard work of my father and grandfather be tarnished, and yet I cannot fully sanction a trade embargo of nuclear goods.”

The queen’s words described the radioactive materials produced in Rhodevus which are sold globally in the radiopharmaceutical market for use in CAT scan and MRI machines.

A vote however was carried out before the end of the morning session, which showed a majority was in favour of passing the Nuclear Trade Ban. It was, however, not a large enough majority to override a monarch’s veto. The queen did not veto the bill, but signed it, after adding a proviso in which Smoyan-Rhodeve talks are implemented to talk the Smoyan government out of their decision.

The senate passed the bill into being this afternoon, after talks on how to implement the queen’s proviso.

“While I am personally not happy that [Queen Diana] is playing light and friendly with the Smoyan government, I can understand her logic.” Said house representative for the Liberal Party Geoffrey Saintberg. He later joked, “maybe that’s why it annoys me so much.”

The proviso, while not an official monarchical decree, is seen as a powerful ‘near-command’. When asked about the proviso, the monarch’s representative told the press, “Queen Diana has said she would not sign the bill into being without taking diplomatic routes first. Diana has stated she will use all power given to her as her position as Queen of Rhodevus to ensure this proviso remains in effect and is acted upon as soon as possible.”

Acting PM Raio Foranel And Vesvai’s PM Jonathan Mollisal Agree To End The Current Mutual Military Build-Up At The Border

An anticipated deal has been reached. Acting Prime Minister Raio Foranel informed New Vesvai’s public that he has negotiated a settlement with Vesvai’s Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal. After a phone call that lasted hours the Prime Ministers of New Vesvai and the Dominion of Vesvai have agreed to stop the current military build-up happening on both sides. Not only that but they have also agreed to withdraw the additionally deployed number of forces that were sent by both sides during the build-up. The number reduction applies to troops, heavy artillery and aircraft. An agreement has not been reached to withdraw forces from the border entirely but this is as good as it is going to get. The minimal agreement applies only to stopping new deployments and withdrawing the additional forces from the border. Reportedly both Prime Ministers still argued whether New Vesvai or the Dominion of Vesvai were responsible for the current escalation. Acting PM Raio Foranel insisted that revolutionary New Vesvai was weakened and not in a condition to invade anybody even if it wanted. Vesvai’s PM Jonathan Mollisal insisted that his nation’s National Intelligence Agency had info that New Vesvai was preparing for an invasion and the Dominion of Vesvai acted defensively. Acting PM Foranel like everything he said flew right over Vesvai’s PM’s head. The two argued and obviously staid by their version of events. But they had managed to stop and at least agree on two conditions that both nations were interested in and to avert a military clash. Acting PM Foranel was happy over the settlement but he believes it is only a temporary measure until the Dominion of Vesvai tries something again.

Congress of National Sovereignty chooses Mina Symank as New Foreign Minister

JUGAC, SOUTH BAGGNAGIA – The Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia has settled on the replacement of Jurij Zejler-Leichhardt as Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Congress has settled on a female as the cabinet official that would take over this position. Mina Symank will become the New Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Baggnagia. The Congress has already settled on her appointment and there aren’t other candidates. Still, the government plans to go by the standard procedures before Mina Symank can assume the position. Symank will undergo hearings at the Congress of National Sovereignty before she becomes the Foreign Minister. After the hearings Symank should be voted into office by the Congress.

Symank would be a fresh face in politics not having held any prior positions or any government office before. At first her consideration was controversial because the Congress of National Sovereignty wants a strong Foreign Minister for South Baggnagia. The public wants the same. Having a strong Foreign Minister is a requirement obviously made with North Baggnagia in mind. The Foreign Minister would have to deal with the difficult neighbor to the north first and foremost. Chairman of the Presidium of Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia Gustav Feldt personally defended Symank’s candidacy. He assured that South Baggnagians will not regret having a Foreign Minister like Symank. That is an assuring recommendation to say the least. The Chairman said that the same approach of choosing fresh faces is being taken by the Congress in choosing a replacement for Minister of Defense Vojtech Wylem Betnar. Chairman Gustav Feldt said that the Congress of National Sovereignty is taking the selections of replacements for the Foreign and Defense Ministers very seriously. The New Minister of Defense of South Baggnagia replacing Vojtech Wylem Betnar is expected to be announced tomorrow also by the Congress.

Finding replacements for Minister of Foreign Affairs Jurij Zejler-Leichhardt and Minister of Defense Vojtech Wylem Betnar so soon can mean that either the Congress has been working non-stop to find a replacement or that the replacements have been chosen long ago before the Congress even publicly announced that it intends to replace the Foreign and Defense Ministers with successors. The choice of successors happening so soon has made many South Baggnagians skeptical but the second explanation of having eyed those successors long ago sounds more assuring. This leaves hope that the decision is not being rushed after all and this hope is being backed by Chairman Gustav Feldt and his assurances.

Dominion Of Vesvai And New Vesvai Reach An Agreement To Stop Current Military Build-Up On Both Sides Of The Border

The Dominion of Vesvai is reversing its military build-up on the border. New forces are not being sent and forces additionally deployed during the build-up are being withdrawn. Despite a more peaceful rhetoric coming out of the EUSR, the northern Commies have finally shown their true colors. Without warning, forces of the EUSR People's National Defense Army opened fire on soldiers of the Republic of Eikangaard. This surprise attack allowed the Communists to enter Republican Territory ahead of a general offensive across the entire border. Our forces are currently in a retreat, with the air force currently scrambling to provide air support for our retreating troops. Additionally, the RNS Munh a Navy Frigate, reported being struck by a torpedo likely launched from a submarine. The Navy believes that this is a naval offensive by the Communists to try and cut off the Republic's supplies.

The President made an emergency broadcast to declare a state of war between the Republic of Eikangaard, and the Eikangaard United Socialist Republics: "My Fellow Eikans. Today, our proud and nascent republic was viciously and brutally attacked by the Communist bloc in the north. The attack caught us unprepared and flat-footed, a mistake which has cost brave men and women their lives. But I am here to tell you that, together with our allies in abroad, we will stand fast in the face of this tyranny. We will be uncompromising in our desire to preserve our democracy, and unrelenting in our desire to defeat this threat. I assure you, that this act will not go unpunished. The EUSR, aggressive as it has always been, has started this war, and we will see it finished."

Shots Fired, War Declared

In a sudden and confusing twist, violence erupted on the border with the southern Republic of Eikangaard. While we are unsure as to the exact sequence of events which led to this, war has been declared on the Eikangaard United Socialist Republics by the Republic of Eikangaard, which claims that the EUSR initiated the incident. Our forces currently remain at the border on a defensive posture, according to Director of National Defense, Hails Markhed, with orders to hold our current defensive line and await reinforcements.

With the Premier currently away on a visit to Librira, the country is currently without leadership at home, leading many to suspect that this incident was timed to coincide with the Premier's foreign visit. With the situation currently fluid, Premier Algren will likely remain in Librira for the foreseeable future, until the situation is stable enough to ensure his security in returning to the EUSR. The Premier, in a video conference during an emergency meeting with the People's National Council, announced that Field Marshall of the People's Defense Army Maya Mikkenen would temporarily assume overall control of the EUSR until his return to the country.

For the time being, we can only wait and hope that this situation can be resolved without further bloodshed.

Congress of National Sovereignty chooses Stanislaw Šturm as New Defense Minister

JUGAC, SOUTH BAGGNAGIA – The Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia has announced the pick for the New Defense Minister. The reveal is happening today as was promised. Stanislaw Šturm has been chosen as the New Minister of Defense of South Baggnagia. He would be replacing Minister of Defense Vojtech Wylem Betnar in this office. The Congress confirmed that there are no other candidates to the post but Šturm would still have to undergo hearings at the Congress for confirmation. After the hearings Šturm is expected to be voted into office. The situation with Šturm is identical to Mina Symank who is expected to replace Jurij Zejler-Leichhardt as Minister of Foreign Affairs after her confirmation hearing. Another similarity with Symank is that Šturm is another fresh face in South Baggnagian politics. He has not held prior political office.

The Congress of National Sovereignty is taking an identical approach towards picking the two new cabinet officials. It obviously goes into paradox with the requirement for South Baggnagia to have two strong and supposedly experienced officials in these key offices to effectively deal with ever belligerent North Baggnagia. That is the complaint that many South Baggnagian citizens have voiced towards the approach by the Congress. But like with Symank Chairman of the Presidium of Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia Gustav Feldt defended the candidacy of Šturm. He reminded the public that the Congress was taking the choice of effective cabinet members very seriously and that South Baggnagia will do well with Symank and Šturm as Foreign and Defense Ministers. The Chairman said that South Baggnagia additionally needs fresh faces in politics because it is a needed evolutionary process for every state and society.

EUSR attacked, STS Condemns, SSL Rages

In a startling, and unfortunate turn of events, war has been declared in Eikangaard, touching off another conflict in a region that has already had its share of problems. In response the People's Congression has closed Libriran ports of entry to Republican citizens, and vessels, and has ordered the internment of any republican ships in Libriran waters, except for those whose destination is a Smoyan port, and can provided proof thereof in accordance with the TRUST-W treaty. In addition Republican assets have been frozen in Libriran financial institutions. The People's Congression has not announced any planned military action, as it is unclear as of yet who has fired the first shot. The Naval Commissariat has announced plans to reroute submarine patrol routes to the area to observe, but not to intervene under any circumstance for the time being.

STS, has issued a condemnation against the republic and call for solidarity with the EUSR, offering to help affect passage for refugees, and humanitarian aid. the STS condemned the Republic in what they said was; "an underhanded and poorly concealed attempt to destroy a sovereign state through manipulation of global opinion". The STS, supported the governments metered approach, to; "avoid putting the republic in a position where peace is unavailable to them."

The SSL on the other hand have condemned the People's Congression for what they call; "abandoning a brother in arms to the whims of Imperialist animals". The SSL's condemnation also condemned other states such as the VU, the Republic of Eikangaard and others. In the closing of the document they released they also linked to a People's Plea page, that would call a War referendum if it garners enough signatures, it currently has 20,000 signatures out of the required 250,000 to start a war referendum. In addition the SSL vowed that even if the War Referendum didn't succeed they would form Volunteer Brigades to assist their 'brothers' in Eikangaard. A coalition document spearheaded by KS, Zvesda and others, denounced the move as a "Threat to Libriran security and foreign Policy... a step back towards the hard era".

Sunrisia Conducts Tests Of Anti-Missile Systems

Today, apart from the ongoing MDAA naval drills in northwestern Corentia, southwestern Dogmana and international waters to the south of Corentia, the Sunrisian Defense Force (SDF) is additionally and individually dedicating its’ attention to anti-missile systems. The military has been testing them with the goal of seeing their effectiveness and how to further modernize them in the future. As the anti-nuclear laser project continues development, Sunrisia has to rely on anti-missile systems for a nuclear shield for itself and for allies. The testing of the anti-missile systems is obviously happening with a simulated scenario in mind, used for military exercises and war games. The anti-missile systems are being tested under a simulated scenario of defending against a hostile nuclear strike. The guaranteed defense of anti-missile systems against a nuclear strike is never 100%, but as mentioned before, until the anti-nuclear laser or some other type of new generation weaponry accedes to Sunrisian military arsenal, the anti-missile systems and their modernization are the primary reliance.

During what some overseas experts today refer to as – the Sunrisian Nuclear Crisis, many anti-missile systems were deployed around Corentia by other countries, including outsider states not from Corentia. Other countries had activated their anti-missile defense and so did Sunrisia, because things started to look like some sort of a nuclear exchange was brewing in the air. The so-called Sunrisian Nuclear Crisis refers to a period, when our country changed its’ nuclear doctrine from “No First Use” to “Optional Preemptive Strike against a Direct Attacker or Invader of Sunrisia and/or Allies.” The nuclear doctrine was changed during a continued escalation of tensions in Corentia and partially global ones. In Corentia, the escalation was contributed to by the added participation of countries from other parts of the world, which decided to play with fire near the Corentian “powder keg” for personal geopolitical interests and ambitions. The informational warfare and tools of propaganda abroad misrepresented the Sunrisian change of nuclear doctrine as Sunrisia being ready to start firing nuclear missiles at any country considered an enemy for no reason or a made up reason. Sunrisia’s changed nuclear doctrine has clearly worded the instances, when a preemptive strike could be considered and which red lines must not be crossed.

As the tests of Sunrisian anti-missile systems continue, Minister of Security Vírân Spêctér stated in front of a crowd of Sunrisian soldiers and subsequently the media networks that were and were broadcasting his statement:

“It is correct that anti-missile systems are a type of defensive and not offensive weaponry. However, in case of a military confrontation, the anti-missile systems of the opponent or multiple opponents can be aimed against our nuclear weapons, in order to destroy them, while they are in the air. Such effective type of weaponry has not been developed for nuclear bombs, however. But in this case, we are talking about missiles. As the name of anti-missile systems appropriately suggests, these types of systems on the opponent’s side are aimed against our nuclear weapons and subsequently designed to neutralize our nuclear capabilities in the event of a confrontation. This also means neutralization of a nuclear deterrent that a country has for guaranteed defense from aggression and which the opponent now wants to neutralize. In case of an open military confrontation or armed conflict, the anti-missile systems of adversaries would obviously come under a military strike as potential obstacles to the mechanism of nuclear deterrence. They would also be struck just as part of the opponent’s military equipment on the field.”

"A Dead Peace Whispers Darker Times"

Recently, the Kiezan nation took a blow that will not heal for sometime. Kiezan Chancellor Maxis, called by some "Old Man of the Nation", was assassinated in a senseless act of violence. Many in Rezua simply know Chancellor Maxis as the man who, after the tragedy of the Summer War, attempted to offer Rezua humanitarian aid. At that time, however, many were too untrusting to believe him. Yet, Chancellor Maxis did not stop trying to reach out with Rezua and was the man who agreed to meet with Empress Ymira in 2016 and denounce the mounting tension of that year. For this, Chancellor Maxis' reputation in much of the nation became that of a man of peace.

With his death, the world sees many troubling occurrences. The quiet Smoya has begun rearmament of its nuclear arsenal, war has been declared in Eikangaard, troubles that could mean much more difficulty in many lives. Most of all though, the people of Kiez find themselves in a time without a guiding role often looked to when things got tough. As the Rezuan saying goes "A dead peace whispers darker times". Chancellor Maxis was a man of peace and his passing might symbolize an end of happier times to many, but also to the Kiezan people most acutely.

In this moment of darkness, Empress Ymira, Prime Minister Leonart, and a majority of the Lower Council have reached out to the Kiezan leadership to offer words of encouragement and an invitation to strategize ways to deal with the war in Eikangaard. What is most shocking about this message is nothing being said, but rather who is saying it. Prime Minister Ana Leonart's support of this message has astounded the nation and has caused outrage in her home province of Iveris.

To those unfamiliar with Rezuan geography, the Imperial Province of Iveris directly borders the nation of Kiez, along with the Imperial Province of Boren. During the Summer War, Iveris suffered the worst atrocity of the short war, in which a Rezuan city was accidentally targeted by the Kiezan military. During this tragedy, Paulus Leonart -the younger brother of the Prime Minister- was killed. Ever since, any dealings with Kiez have been strongly apposed by the Prime Minister. This unrelenting and unforgiving position earned her tremendous support from Boren and Iveris. And this support is rapidly evaporating.

Prime Minister Leonart declined giving us a prolonged explanation for her actions but gave a moderate statement stated that,

"If we didn't try to mend burnt brigades, we'd still be at each other's throats, western provinces against eastern provinces. If we could find it in ourselves to forgive each other, we should have no problem finding it in ourselves to try to work with Kiez for a better tomorrow. We must be better than we have been before. That is the Rezuan way. Don't look back, continue forward."

An interview from a mother who's sons were killed in the Summer War show what some in Iveris think:

"The Kiezans cannot be forgiven for what they did. They helped the Soviets slaughter our boys when we'd already agreed to pull back from our border. They lack honor, targeting our city instead of our military base. The Prime Minister has bought Everen propaganda of non-aggression. They knew what they did. They cannot be trusted. We can never forget nor forgive their actions, and the empress and prime minster should stop manipulating our countrymen into opening our legs to such whoresons. They speak of peace whilst their hands drip with Rezuan blood. I say they can shove off. May God grant that Maxis and the Kiezans responsible for the shelling of our city have the hottest seats in all of Hell."

September 3, San Amaro de Esmeralda - A week has passed since the end of the second round of States General primaries, which brought the vast field of candidates from across the country down to the best of the best. As the Republic approaches a new election, analysts and pollsters have been trying to predict how things would play out. The most important question to them - Was Terenzio D'amore's election a fluke, or is this the start of a new era in Doraltic politics? So far, the answer seems to be leaning towards the latter being true, as recent polls performed by the National University of Political Science shows D'amore's Liberal Party holding onto its strong position in the National Assembly, with their coalition partners, the People's Labor Party taking a close second place. However, victory in the National Assembly is proving less fruitful as the National Republican Party, still holding a veto-proof majority in the States General, continues to foil D'amore's policy plans.

As for the Presidential Race, internal polling shows that D'amore's job remains safe, but that he has strong competition with the front-runners from the two main parties, with less than a 2.5% margin of victory between him and Uberto Grimaldi of the National Republicans. Key issues in party primaries continue to focus on fears of another impending recession in the Doraltic economy and the Union's affairs abroad.

Body of Inter-Community Representatives and Inter-Community Court Challenge New Senns Law, Claim Violation of Basic Human Rights

After the passing of a new law in the community of Senns, many parts of the Unitary Government have called the law's legality into question, as well as the law's basic ethics and apparent violation of basic human rights. The law in question would mandate the sterilization of those who have, in the past, had mentally handicap children and further mandates the wholesale execution of those deemed to be mentally handicap according to community government standards, which are to be updated bi-annually. As a result of the passing of this law, through Senns' legislative process, the BICR has called for an Inter-Community Court investigation. This call for investigation was all but unanimous, with only several representatives from Senns voting against the investigation, citing such an investigation to "violate the community's sovereignty". The Inter-Community Court responded by stating that the community's sovereignty was not being violated by such an investigation and that the investigation would be carried out.

The investigation will follow several key issues as instructed by the BICR. These issues include the violation of the second, fifth, and seventh basic citizens rights outlined in the Unitary Government's constitution as well as the first, third, seventh, and ninth citizens rights outlined in the community's constitution and the basic morality and ethics of the law that was passed. Should violation of the second citizen right, as outlined by the Unitary Government's constitution in fact be violated, the BICR has announced its intention to request the death penalty for the responsible law makers, which the Inter-Community Court has clarified would in fact be the required punishment for such a violation of such a right, which would be the most serious violation on the docket. The court has also stated that its investigation will focus on the most serious charges first.

In response to the requested investigation, the governor of Senns has requested immunity due to his inability to veto the law. The court has cited the governor as being among those responsible, however, for allowing the law to make it to vote, which was well within the authority of the governor to stop.

Prime Minister Terr Ciramān has declared an end of political crisis in Creperia. President Jall Cvīcli too has made such a declaration and so has the National Assembly of Creperia. The political crisis in Creperia began when the Liberal–Democrat coalition government was in power. That was when the government’s rating collapsed and Creperia was on the verge of a revolution or even another military coup. The last time Creperia was in such a crisis was with President Alcc Laēta and the coalition government in the National Assembly after the Blue Revolution. A military coup technically ended up happening and was aimed more at pressuring the President. In the end it ended up dissolving the president’s administration and the entire office, also overthrowing the Second Federal Republic. The constitution of the present-day Third Federal Republic led to the early election of the Liberal–Democrat coalition government and President Karr Gaudēl.

The collapsed approval rating of the Liberal–Democrat coalition government and the President, public protest and pressure from the military led to fair parliamentary and presidential elections that unseated the Liberal–Democrat coalition government. Liberal and Democratic parties were pushed into the opposition but not before losing some prominent and influential members through resignation. The new government led by Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists committed to end the political crisis left behind by the previous Liberal–Democrat coalition government. Prime Minister Terr Ciramān and President Jall Cvīcli promised that the political crisis would end before the new opposition-led government reaches 100 days. That electoral promise seems to have come to reality.

Prime Minister Terr Ciramān and President Jall Cvīcli held separate motivational speeches before the National Assembly to convince Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists to consolidate parliament as a majority. The coalition needs to provide good leadership instead of focus on holding power like the previous governments. The Prime Minister and the President held separate meetings with opposition parties to kindly convince them to accept the new times and not work as a destructive opposition. Probably the most important meeting was with military officials. Creperia developed a rift between the government and military under President Alcc Laēta during the days of the Second Federal Republic. In the current days of the Third Federal Republic, the previous President Karr Gaudēl had a better relationship with the military but the rift was not fixed. The military eventually came to oppose the Liberal–Democrat government and President Gaudēl. Prime Minister Terr Ciramān confirmed that the rift between the government and the military has now been fixed with Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists in power. The Prime Minister referenced the close relationship and patriotic cooperation that Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists had with the military for fair elections in Creperia and that relationship continues now that Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists is in power. Creperian generals confirmed the Prime Minister’s announcement and said that the military supports the current government. The military in Creperia has not been in a good relationship with the government in Creperia for a long time but today that has apparently changed.

Together the Great Leader and the Generals of the North Baggnagian Holy Army went to oversee the working of the North Baggnagian Military Industrial Complex. The Great Leader and the Generals of the North Baggnagian Holy Army watched the building of a new type of non-nuclear missiles. The building of the missiles was authorized personally by the Executive Order of His Excellency Marshal Jan Tillich. The non-nuclear missiles are being built to be added to the weaponry arsenal of the North Baggnagian Holy Army. These are the missiles that the North Baggnagian Holy Army will use in combat against enemies. The missiles will be built for usage against land targets, air targets and sea targets. The missiles will be launched from separate systems but will also be available to be carried by aircraft and ships. The missiles will also be made available to be added to land vehicles that will shoot the systems. His Excellency Marshal Jan Tillich said that another Executive Order will be signed for the Military Industrial Complex to build land vehicles for the North Baggnagian Holy Army that will be designed to carry those missiles. This would make the missiles mobile. The Great Leader said that North Baggnagia will not only build these new types of missiles for its own military but is also open to making profit from it. His Excellency Marshal Jan Tillich announced that North Baggnagia will enter the international arms market and sell these missiles to other nations that could be interested. The Great Leader warned that not just any nation could be a buyer because North Baggnagia would not sell weapons to enemies. The Baggnagian South and Sunrisia are already in that blacklist.

Speaking of sales and purchases His Excellency Marshal Jan Tillich also announced that North Baggnagia might be interested to purchase one or several missile defense systems from a foreign supplier. The Great Leader noted that the Sunrisian imperialists occupying Baggnagian South are now testing their missile defense systems and showing more aggression. The Great Leader also noted that the Sunrisian imperialists have ballistic missiles stationed close to North Baggnagia in nearby nations. Apart from the Sunrisian threat many of North Baggnagian neighbors have nuclear weapons. There are nuclear states in Ventismar and Ophion. North Baggnagia presently will not be developing its own nuclear weapons but anti-nuclear defense is necessary. The President of Creperia has arrived in Sunrisia on his first official state visit to our country since recently taking office. President Válîd Sâlúbĕr was obviously the one to invite his Creperian counterpart to Sunrisia. The 2 Presidents have only spoken on the phone before shortly after President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia assumed office. Now, President Sâlúbĕr and President Cvīcli of Creperia will meet in person for the first time. The prior top official from the new Creperian government to visit Sunrisia Prime Minister Terr Ciramān of Creperia, who visited Sunrisia before President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia was even elected or assumed office.

President Válîd Sâlúbĕr is currently waiting for President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia at the Presidential Palace. President Sâlúbĕr said that he wants to congratulate Creperian President Cvīcli on the early period of his presidency so far, including him, Prime Minister Terr Ciramān of Creperia, the rest of the government in the neighboring country and the Creperian people on finally beating the political crisis left to them as a legacy of the previous government. The Sâlúbĕr administration stated that the topics of discussion would include what President Válîd Sâlúbĕr and President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia had already discussed during their first phone conversation. Those topics were – MDAA naval drills in the region, the evolution of a relationship between the Sunrisian government and the new Creperian government, cooperation between the countries in the ranks of MDAA and SOWEFTA, and bilaterally. Other important topics that were touched on last time and will be brought up again will be the Sunrisian ballistic missile defense system stationed in Creperia and the resolution of bilateral disputes between Creperia and Sunrisia. President Sâlúbĕr said himself that all these topics can and need to be elaborated on, but the resolution of disputes, improving relations back to normal state and taking them to an even higher level, is something that both governments have shown interest in and a political will to fulfill that objective.

South and North Baggnagian jets nearly collide and clash between airspaces

NORTH BAGGNAGIA/SOUTH BAGGNAGIA BORDER – North Baggnagia is once again acting belligerent. The South Baggnagian Protection Army and the air force reported that a collision and a clash nearly happened with North Baggnagian aircraft this morning. Another incident nearly led to war. Military pilots from the air force claim that a number of South Baggnagian jets nearly collided with North Baggnagian jets. This near collision and clash almost happened right on the border between airspaces of North and South Baggnagia. The South Baggnagian pilots have given their account of what happened to the military command and versions of events are mixed.

Some pilots claim that they were in a middle of a regular aerial policing mission authorized to them when suddenly they saw the North Baggnagian jets flying right towards them. The South Baggnagian pilots did not think much of it and continued their flight but many suddenly thought that North Baggnagian pilots had a suicide wish and were ready to kill North Baggnagian pilots in a collision. Some of the South Baggnagian pilots were ready to fire without warning and command order as self-defense. But North Baggnagian pilots changed course at the last minute and turned back deeper into North Baggnagia. It appeared that North Baggnagian pilots were just toying with South Baggnagian pilots. Other South Baggnagian pilots say that North Baggnagian pilots aligned their jets in a single lined formation and were heading towards South Baggnagian airspace in a mobilized manner. Some of the South Baggnagian jets noticed this and confronted North Baggnagian jets with preparation to open fire if the North Baggnagians resist peaceful escort. In this version of events the ending is identical. The North Baggnagians turned back and South Baggnagian pilots concluded that this was a North Baggnagian psychological provocation. Obviously there are two versions of what happened. Either one is true or both could be true because some pilots might have encountered one situation and other pilots another situation. The ending is identical in both cases. North Baggnagia does not end up looking good in either of them.

The Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia condemned North Baggnagia upon learning of this provocation. The Congress has been preoccupied with holding hearings and confirming Mina Symank as New Foreign Minister and Stanislaw Šturm as New Defense Minister. But even with those preccupations the Congress still did not stay aside and reacted. Chairman of the Presidium of Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia Gustav Feldt said there is no question that North Baggnagia has been acting more belligerent than usual since Marshal Jan Tillich came to power. The Chairman congratulated South Baggnagian pilots on their selfless and appropriate reaction to the North’s actions.

The incident comes after the North Baggnagian leadership announced yesterday that North Baggnagia was developing non-nuclear missiles. They would be a new type of weaponry added to the arsenal of the North Baggnagian armed forces and also available for international sale according to North Baggnagian leader Marshal Jan Tillich. South Baggnagia and Sunrisia have already made the black list of nations that the missiles would not be sold to. North Baggnagia is also looking forward to buying a missile defense system or multiple to defend from nuclear attacks as it claims but at least other Ventismarian and also Ophionite nations were mentioned as potential threats. Yesterday’s news of military developments inside North Baggnagia and even with more hostile rhetoric towards South Baggnagia and Sunrisia didn’t surprise the Congress. But these aerial provocations the next day after announcing the building of their new missiles is an interesting coincidence. The North Baggnagian leadership could be trying to send a message of some type and show that it does have future aggressive plans against South Baggnagia. It could be trying to follow through with those plans after becoming stronger. But the Congress has also raised a theory if Marshal Jan Tillich really did give this order or if the North Baggnagian pilots acted on their own? And that raises another question which is how much does the state actually control its military or does the North Baggnagian Holy Army have more control within the leadership than thought? Whatever the case may be Chairman Gustav Feldt has demanded that the North Baggnagian leadership explain what today’s air force incident of near collision and clash was all about.

South Baggnagia continues air policing of its airspace together with Sunrisian air force. The total number of planes stays the same but Stanislaw Šturm (designated to become New Defense Minister) recommended that the number of aircraft may need to be increased until these new tensions cease and incident is resolved. So far the Congress has not given any new announcements but the South Baggnagian leadership is showing that its patience is running out.

Communists Push Southward, Army Rushes to Counter Advance

The Communists continue their push southward, overrunning current attempts at forming a defensive line. Already nearing the chokepoint around Rurskaad Bay, where the territory narrows considerably. The Republican Army suspects that this is to create a chokepoint wherein the EUSR can gather its forces to engage in an even larger offensive to take the rest of the Republic, and turn it into a larger Commie State. With the Army on its back foot, the President is authorizing a general draft to increase overall troop numbers as more forces rush to the scene. The current draft call demands that all able-bodied men and women born between September 18th to 22nd and between the ages of 18 to 24 are to report to their nearest recruitment office.

In the air, the Republican Air Force has been unable to achieve a breakthrough to reach the frontlines, as a combination of ground-based air defenses and a comprehensive air patrol system deployed by the communists has made approaching the front lines difficult. However, the news was better on the naval front, as the Republican Navy was reportedly able to sink two EUSR submarines attempting to attack port facilities in Nentergaad Harbour. There were no survivors from these sinkings.

Republican Air Strikes Repulsed, National Defense Army Advances

Despite repeated attacks on border units by the Republic of Eikangaard, the frontline has continued to hold. Airstrikes were repulsed by ground-based, long-range surface to air missile systems and deployed aircraft. With the Republic seemingly retreating back to a secondary defensive line, Field Marshall Mikkenen has authorized an advance to capture and hold the chokepoint of Ruskaad Bay in order to establish a defensive line there. With the potential threat of a declaration of war by VU member-states and subsequent naval invasion on the western seaboard high, the Marshall has determined that a defensive stance is the best course of action.

However, regardless of this, the EUSR will be enacting a general draft for all people aged between 18 and 24 to bolster numbers for the defense of the Socialist Republic. With current Army numbers, it is unlikely that the EUSR would be able to respond to a determined attack by outside parties, especially considering the material advantage of VU members. The Navy has likewise been placed on a defensive stance, guarding the shorelines under cover of coastal defenses. This is both to ensure the security of the EUSR's coasts, as well as to hopefully avoid provoking other nations into joining the Republic in fighting the war.

President D'amore to visit Belantica soon - Everything you need to know about the meeting

September 5, San Amaro de Esmeralda - President D'amore's long planned visit to Belantica is finally underway as he prepares his staff for the long flight over half the world. Belantica's relationship with the Union had been strengthened recently with the signing of the Nuranto Accords and the Lutetia Economic Advancement Agreement, addressing shared security and economic concerns shared by both nations. The President has stated multiple times that his plan was to continue a similar line of dialogue with Belantica's leaders, most especially Queen Pearson and Prime Minister Mahoney, both of whom he will be meeting throughout his visit.

When asked about his stance on the supposed Lutetia Free Trade Agreement that his government proposed back in 2016, he remarked "Negotiations are still ongoing both through the VU and our own government with our partners. It has taken a long while to get this done but I believe that we are close to making this official."

The Lutetia Free Trade Agreement, also known as the "Rhodeve-Englean-Doraltic-Belantic-Umbrelleit-Lindian Trade Agreement", would lower trade barriers across the entire Lutetian Ocean, bringing more trade and speeding up job creation across not only the Union, but all of Ventismar according to leading economists. The deal was one of President D'amore's key promises made in his 2015 campaign, which is tied into his commitments to strengthening the relationship between Doraltia and the Ventismar Union, modernizing the military, and healing the few remaining wounds made by the War.

Discovery Under the Arch of the Fallen

The Arch of the Fallen has been the most popular tourist attraction in the Ile du Fleurs for many years. Built sometime between 845 and 830 BCE, the stone archway is shrouded in mystery and is featured in numerous stories or theories due to this fact. There are 10,000 names written all around the archway, which date back to the same period, proving that the names were etched in during the arch’s construction and not at a later date.

Yet, even with decades of research pouring into understanding the Archway’s significance, little actual information is known. Over the last few months however, a new attempt to unlock the mysteries of the Arch have been attempted; not by taking a crack at the stone or even the names, but focusing on the surroundings. The Arch of the Fallen National Park had large sections closed off to the public throughout this summer, to allow researchers from the University of Flowers and the University of Brevin to conduct excavations and their research in peace.

Using specially designed technology to view inside the ground, it was discovered that the Arch of the Fallen was not just a single structure located in the middle of nowhere, but a central point to a much larger surrounding structure.

“The Arch of the Fallen is surrounded by the buried remains of stone buildings, burial pits and most likely temples. The Arch was built on top of what was once a hill back in the 800s BCE, which has since been filled out over the centuries to create the plains area it looks like today,” said assistant head researcher and archeologist, Dr. Andrew Vayn. “We have only just started to excavate a small portion of the area to see what we can find, but hopefully even this will help fill in some gaps in our knowledge of the Arch and help to better understand such an important symbol of the Ile du Fleurs and ancient Fleurian history.”

The Arch of the Fallen National Park remains open, with several sections now partitioned off to the public. Current excavation sites have been proposed to continue until 2027 at the earliest.

Green-NJP Alliance to replace the National Green-Liberal Alliance in IdF

The Green-Liberal Alliance, which started in 1984 and dissolved in 2018 had allowed the Liberal Party in multiple provinces to reach a majority with the help of the green party. In return, the liberals added larger-scale environmental reform to their policies. It was an alliance which helped define a generation in Rhodevus and was seen as a shock when the alliance collapsed due to growing national support for the green party and disputes over new environmental and large business policies.

While the Liberals and Greens are now divided on some major issues all across Rhodevus, no new alliances or party blocks have been formed to make up for this absence in the provinces. As of earlier this week however, the Green party of the Ile du Fleurs has allied themselves with the Fleurian New Justice Party. The Environmentalist Party a majority 138 seats in the Governor’s Council, a whopping 4.4x as many seats as the Liberal Party, the official opposition. The New Justice Party controls 6 seats.

With this new block, the Green-NJP alliance now controls an impressive 144 seats in the council, giving them a super majority. Although the next election cycle begins in 2020, this new block may give NJP-supporters a greater say in the next elections as well as increase the number of seats they possess, most likely stealing from the Green and Liberal Parties.
A spokesperson for the new alliance has stated that this alliance will allow the NJP to help dictate policy of importance to the party, including low-income taxation and benefits for small businesses. While the alliance has not been given a deadline until the agreements need to be reworked, it is expected that it will be reviewed around this time in four years to prepare for the 2024 election.

The Green Party is set yet again to win the 2020 elections, as support for the party still remains high. This will continue the trend of the Green Party retaining control of the Governor’s Council since 1964.

Members of the Liberal and Conservative Parties of the Ile du Fleurs have expressed their outrage at this move by the Green Party, as it gives them the necessary 2/3 majority to pass almost any law without the possibility of a federal veto or debate from the other parties. The Imperial Governor, Mary Shuvell stated, “the Green Party already controls a near super-majority on its own. If even five councilors from other parties vote with ours, it represents the necessary 143 votes needed. An alliance with the NJP allows another party to help shape future policy and political decisions.”

The Imperial Governor has also stated that this backlash is most likely due to the Green Party not asking either the Liberals or Conservatives to form an alliance, as they are still the two most important political parties on the mainland and represent the second and third largest parties on the Ile du Fleurs.

Retrofitting of Fleurian-Stiuran Tunnel Begins

The Fleurian-Stiuran Tunnel began its construction in 1954 and took 46 years to complete, finally opening to the public in 2000. The tunnel itself has a long and complex history, due to the civil war in Dormill and Stiura from 1947 until 1995 as well as the War of Flowers from 1977-1979. The numerous of starts and stops in construction over the decades has led to the tunnel being an expensive project, even though its benefits were determined to still outweigh the often exponentially growing costs.

Opened in March of 2000, the Fleurian-Stiuran Tunnel sees hundreds of cars passing between the country and island daily. The Fleurian government however has decided that 20 years after its fated opening, the tunnel requires some retrofitting of the older parts of the tunnel to bring it up to modern building codes. This will include the addition of an intricate network of pipes to allow for air filtration and temperature measuring throughout the length of the tunnel.

“The retrofit should keep the tunnel open for the majority of construction. It will help to limit future expenses as the tunnel heats up from the number of vehicles passing through, and will also allow for better air flow and air distribution at least for the next 25-30 years.”
The 15 million NSD project is set to commence in April of 2020, slated for completion in March of 2021.

South Baggnagia offers new diplomatic talks with North Baggnagia after today’s airspace incident

JUGAC, SOUTH BAGGNAGIA – The Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia has come to a difficult but necessary decision in the interests of national security and regional stability. Chairman of the Presidium of Congress of National Sovereignty of South Baggnagia Gustav Feldt invited North Baggnagian leader Marshal Jan Tillich for new diplomatic talks. Just like with the previous North Baggnagian leader Chief of State Fran Hapenic, Chairman Gustav Feldt wants to meet Marshal Jan Tillich for talks at one of the Joint Security Areas on the border. The Chairman would bring a diplomatic delegation to accompany him like last time. Possibly the North Baggnagian leader would bring his own delegation too.

The reason why this decision was so difficult is because of strategic fears that South Baggnagia is showing weakness. The decision was debated at the Congress of National Sovereignty for hours and caused divisions. Critics said that South Baggnagia was the victim of aggression and offering talks would only provoke North Baggnagia to abuse the South in the future. It was seen as especially risky with such a leader like Marshal Jan Tillich who has been more belligerent that the predecessor and clearly respect strength. Critics at the Congress said that this could even sabotage South Baggnagian firm military deterrence because the North would not be intimidated anymore unless South Baggnagia only counts on Sunrisian deterrence. That is also in question because the ally may not be as motivated to defend South Baggnagia if the nation does not stand at the forefront of its defense. But the Congress eventually agreed on the strategy. Interestingly enough the idea of new diplomatic talks was proposed by Mina Symank (designated to become the New Foreign Minister). Symank and Stanislaw Šturm (designated to become New Defense Minister) have already made important strategic proposals. Earlier today Šturm proposed to increase the number of South Baggnagian jets in South Baggnagian airspace near the North Baggnagian border. Critics believed that Chairman Gustav Feldt agreed to Symank’s proposal to polish her image even more as designated New Foreign Minister and show how influential her opinion already is. In case the diplomatic strategy fails this could also negatively affect Symank’s image within the Congress and South Baggnagian public before she even takes office. So if this conspiracy is true then the Chairman is taking a big gamble. Famously Chairman Gustav Feldt is a strong personal supporter of inexperienced Symank and Šturm in their uncontested candidacy to cabinet positions.

Chairman Gustav Feldt defended this move to possible remaining critics as the only possibility apart from immediate war or a continued state of tension before things finally snap.

Today I’m taking the high road and making the first step. It is uncharacteristic for our Congress that has firmly announced it would lead with strength. But now we are trying something different under the guidance of the great Mina Symank who is on the verge becoming the next Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Baggnagia. I invite North Baggnagian leader Marshal Jan Tillich to hold new diplomatic talks at our shared border which is one of the most tense locations on the planet today. I invite us to have the discussion in the same format as I did with the Marshal’s late predecessor Chief of State Fran Hapenic at one of the Joint Security Areas. This new wave of tension that has begun shortly after the passing of Chief of State Fran Hapenic has built up energy. That energy has to manifest into something because it just can’t evaporate. And from this point on we can ease the tension, go to war immediately or let the tension keep building until it bursts out to the surface on its own. At that point neither of us will be able to stop it no matter how much we may want to. So I invite you, Marshal, to just try this easy option and see what happens. This tension is not making things easy for either of us. And before you say no, remember that we are all Baggnagians on both sides of the barricade. Surely that has to mean something to you. I hope that the Marshal will respond soon and the response will be acceptance of the offer. I hope that the Congress will finish hearings and approve this diplomatic strategy’s author Mina Symank as the New Minister of Foreign Affairs. I want Candidate Mina Symank as the New Foreign Minister to lead the diplomatic delegation that will come with me to these talks that I hope will happen.

SILCENDA, NORTH BAGGNAGIA – Yesterday, the North Baggnagian Holy Air Force confronted the South’s aircraft attempting to invade North Baggnagian airspace. The unmatched military of North Baggnagia forced the South’s pilots to turned back in the opposite direction very soon. The South’s propagandist media controlled by collaborator forces and their imperialist puppet masters presented this airspace incident of near collision and near clash as the doing of the North Baggnagian Holy Air Force. Obviously such dark lies will force any perpetrator of them and believer of them to rot in hell.

His Excellency Marshal Jan Tillich announced this morning that He stands with the brave North Baggnagian Holy Air Force for what they did. The Great Leader plans to award every officer with medals. Never will there be a greater honor that the officers of the Holy Air Force will receive. Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection Lukas Armbrüster says the navy will not be increasing activity near northwestern coast

Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection of the Daredi Confederation Lukas Armbrüster confirmed that the Daredi Marine (navy) will not be increasing activity near the Confederation’s northwestern coast. The geographic point that the Confederal Minister was referencing is part of a strait between Daredland and Edereon. Daredland still controls its northwestern coast which did not fall under the control of the self-declared Hasperan Republic when it seceded.

Since the Hasperan Republic broke away from the rest of the Daredi Confederation there were concerns that the secessionists could try to take over the remainder of the coast all the way to the border with Weypel. But since the self-declared Hasperan Republic broke away without the use of armed force they had to go with what they got. There were still theories that if the self-declared Hasperan Republic goes by the way of the Weniges Reich and creates its own militia then the secessionists could try to occupy the entire coast. Controlling the rest of the coast would have been strategically important for the Hasperan secessionists so that they could receive material help from a possible foreign sponsor. But in case the Hasperan secessionists would have come to this then the Konföderaleswehr would have to intervene and defend the rest of the territory. That did not happen and to this day the rest of the coast is controlled by the Confederation.

The Daredi government (previous and current one) intend to keep the territorial status quo without allowing the Hasperan Republic or the Weniges Reich to seize any more land. Controlling the rest of the coast did and does create a strategic advantage over the self-declared Hasperan Republic. For Daredland it allows to control the strait between Daredland and Edereon and make sure that no undeclared smuggler ships with aid to the secessionists cross towards the Hasperan Republic. In certain periods the Daredi government used the patrol of the strait to blockade the self-declared Hasperan Republic. But to avoid a humanitarian crisis the government’s efforts were switched to making sure that weapons don’t go to the self-declared Hasperan Republic. For some time the strait was patrolled by Sunrisian ships but they withdrew several months ago. There were proposal for Daredland to now patrol its territorial waters in the strait and ask Edereon to patrol its half. That way there would be a further insurance that refugees from the self-declared Hasperan Republic travel safely through the water, no smugglers reach the self-declared Hasperan Republic and that humanitarian supplies from Western Corentian nations and Daredland reach the self-declared Hasperan Republic.

Some Daredi politicians with more radical and nationalist views suggested to begin new active patrol with more ships to again pressure the self-declared Hasperan Republic. A lot of those proposals came from the Western Corentian Nationalists of Daredland (WCND) party. Surprisingly even the Legion of Germanic Daredland (LGD) was arguing for this. This was the only issue that the two polar opposite rival parties agreed on. But the government now led by the Legacy Protection Movement (LPM) coalition has turned down this move. Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection Lukas Armbrüster is a member of For New Homeland (FNH) which is in the LPM governing coalition. It is not surprising that he personally supported not increasing naval activity.

What is even more surprising is that Confederal Minister of Reintegration and Reconciliation Franz Potesinan partially backed away from his own WCND party and supported the governing coalition. Potesinan agrees that the navy should remain on patrol and send a message to the Hasperan secessionists that the Konföderaleswehr will defend the rest of the Daredi coast in the west and not allow its occupation. Potesinan also has a tougher approach by saying that the navy must not relax and needs to make sure that smugglers don’t reach the self-declared Hasperan Republic. But Potesinan has agreed with the governing coalition’s position rather than his own party’s position by believing that the navy’s unprovoked increased activity will create military pressure. That military pressure could sabotage the negotiations process with the Hasperan secessionist leadership that Potesinan personally presides over.

The first foreign visit of President Jall Cvīcli to Sunrisia is approaching the third day. President Jall Cvīcli met with Sunrisian President Válîd Sâlúbĕr who is acting as the host. The President also met with Vice President Amíc Fútûra and Sunrisian cabinet officials too: Minister of International Relations Edén Sȏlítûdá, Minister of Security Vírân Spêctér, National Defense Consultant Clîpăs Dépúlsên, Minister of Finance and Economic Development Díva Plénâta. The discussions included all possible areas of cooperation and the President talks with the Sunrisian President, the Sunrisian Vice President and Sunrisian cabinet officials. Before this first personal meeting, President Jall Cvīcli spoke with Sunrisian President Válîd Sâlúbĕr on a phone.

In this first personal meeting they spoke more on the topics discussed on the phone and spoke on new topics too. The Sunrisians said that it was important to expand relations in the ranks of MDAA and SOWEFTA and personally. President Jall Cvīcli said that Creperia supports the Sunrisian stance, supports the further presence of the Sunrisian ballistic missile defense system in Creperia and will remain committed to the participation in all future MDAA drills. The President showed appreciation for Sunrisian moral support when Creperia resolved its political crisis several days prior. The Creperian government declared its commitment to improving and expanding relations with Sunrisia that were ruined by the previous government. President Jall Cvīcli and Sunrisian President Válîd Sâlúbĕr held a joint press conference and President Cvīcli later travelled to the Sunrisian Convet which is the country’s parliament. He met with Speaker Prémăs Dîcéra, the deputies and spoke before the parliament.

The President did not want for his visit to seem like a repeat of the visit by President Jall Cvīcli. He made sure to make his own addition to the inter-state dialogue and craft his own original address. The President is expected home with good results after he and the Prime Minister have cooperated on building this new bridge that was rotting under the previous government.
