Thoughts?

I would like to implement that as well (three points for a win). If anyone does not want that to be in effect please speak up now!

I don't have any strong feelings about this.

Hey, Kanye, what's the weather like for this race?

I'm trying to choose between a couple of different RP ideas, and it depends on how hot it is. I'd kind of like to RP that it's unseasonably hot, if that's OK.

Pretty sure qualifying is tomorrow, so you still have a day to post something.

I think it's also the first race we've had with qualifying Sunday night (or Monday morning for you), so that might have thrown you off.

Ahh, okay, that makes sense. The qualification/race should be then on Mon/Tue 9 AM for me. Thanks for clearing it up! ^^

This makes it sound like the cocoabos don't have to follow the same safety rules as everyone else. Is that why Cocoabo #28 got injured so badly in that crash last season?

I don't know if this works let me know but here is the brand new #14 Dart for River 'Shark' Suzgar

https://gofile.io/?c=Wk7Yl9

While it is making its debut RP wise this week ICly this design is the same that ran in the Tundra Falls 500 and will also run in the season finale. The normal 3 sponsor rotation will still exist for each individual 3-race chase round.

They have their own safety rules with firesuits designed specifically for the well-reformed Cocoabo to keep them just as safe!

Err, quickie question!

How is Gwen still inside the race? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love her being in the race. :P

But I thought she got kicked out, or something? Or.... maybe I still don't understand how the Chase works. ><

-----

I might need to fix that with a follow-up RP, but that's fine, no worries!

EDIT: Never mind, I got it! Chase Championship, and the regular races. Well, Valentians need to spam Gwen's phone with messages.

Crore=10 million rupees. 113 rupees=$1 NSD. So yeah, that was all the money from Mayhem.

In the Sherpa Empire, people sometimes count money in rupees, but the large numbers get awkward, so some people will use lakh (100,000) and crore (10,000,000) for larger amounts.

Combination of things. The Sherpa Empire is somewhat backward and poor, and the government has occasionally tried to spend their way out of problems by printing more money.

Also, people are just used to big numbers on price tags, so dinner might cost 200 rupees and people are okay with seeing triple digits on their bill.

It's actually pegged to the RL exchange rate with the Nepalese rupee. I check the exchange rate once per thread, and whatever it was on that day is canon for the duration of the thread.

Ah. Figured it was pegged to a RL rupee, but didn't know Nepal had one. Still, I knew there were some currencies in that general region that were comparable.

Side trivia that we have something like that for Burma as well. :P As in, RL Burma.

For money and most big numbers, we use "Thein", which 1 thein = 100,000.

So with 1 USD = 1520 MMK (Myanmar Kyat), and 1 thein MMK = 65.68 USD, it's no wonder that we use thein a lot.

Going back to NSSCRA, I will do one more part for the actual race before the cutoff... and maybe I'm thinking of having Gwen interact with Lexi or Thea just because.
