Other Information:
The United Confederacy established the Convertible Peso as a common currency in 2001, replacing the aforementioned old currencies, some of which are still in circulation, but decrease in use, as the CCP has turned out to be the more stable currency in the long run. Likewise, the general trust in the CCP is a base for its stability.
The currency is maintained by the CNB (Confederated National Bank), a formally independent, but much supervised and controlled organ owned by its predecessors from the constituent states of the U.C. While formally a fiat currency, the CNB holds a large stock of precious metals and foreign currencies backing the CCP.
