Elections of Federalania

Here are the first elections for the Federal Republic of Federalania, which will be to the National Assembly. The way this work is that when the voting is over, I will calculate a percentage of votes which I will use to multiply by the number of congressmen to determine who many there will be in the National Assembly. The legislature is bicameral, so you will have to choose two options, one in the House of Delegates, and the other in the Grand Senate. The elections are open to all who know Fed and more. Just leave your nation name in the forum and I’ll count your vote. Also, choose wisely on who you will vote, as you cannot change your vote. Anyways, here are the two parties that are running for the Assembly:

Conservative Party- Lower Taxes, Better Opportunity, A Moral Society

Labor Party- More Healthcare, Better Equality, A Fair Society

Assuming legislation initiates with the House of Delegates, we voted for the Conservative Party. And assuming any such legislation is then forwarded to the Grand Senate for vetting and amendment, we voted for the Labour Party. If amended, we anticipate differences would be worked out jointly by both bodies, if agreement can be attained. Legislation which passes both bodies most likely will be only slightly right of center, or it shall not pass at all.

It is the official position of the current Huterric government (dominated by the left wing Freedom Party) to endorse the Labour Party in both the senate and delegates. Out of the four main political parties, the Freedom Party (Social Democrats) and the Capitalist Libertarian Action Party (CLAP for short, centrist libertarian) aim to strike some form of trade deal with Federalania regardless of result.
