Given how LGBT people, as a perennial minority, are made to endure persecution and discrimination in almost every country in the world, I'm starting to think that, like the Jews before them, LGBT people should be entitled to a nation-state all to themselves where they are the demographic majority and reproduction occurs via artificial means. This LGBT majority could be sustained via mass immigration of LGBT refugees as well as restrictions on non-LGBT immigration. Such a state could be carved out in an otherwise deeply anti-LGBT part of the world, such as Chechnya or Uganda, and heavily armed and funded by LGBT-friendly states. The previous, deeply anti-LGBT inhabitants could be compelled to move out by force as punishment for their wanton persecution of LGBT people, similar to what happened to the Arabs when they attempted to annihilate the nascent Jewish state of Israel in 1948. Zionism for LGBT people sounds like a terrific idea.
Given that any offspring of LGBT people are likely to be mostly non-LGBT and mass immigration is the only way to sustain an LGBT demographic majority in the long run, such a nation-state can only exist insofar as persecution against LGBT people continues to persist and there is a sufficient desire for LGBT people to make aliyah, and non-LGBT offspring don't begin to massively outnumber their LGBT parents. Even if LGBT people ultimately cease to be the majority, the nation would be the most LGBT-friendly in the world for historical reasons, and could officially remain as a symbolic LGBT nation-state and a refuge for LGBT people fleeing persecution around the world.
What say you NSG? Is this a practical idea or is it too unrealistic and unsustainable in the long run? Would you support the idea of a nation-state and a refuge for LGBT people fleeing persecution around the world and asserting their fundamental and inherent right to exist, or would you consider it, like Zionism before it, to be a form of "racism" and an experiment in "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" by "illegal LGBT settlers" engaging in "land theft" and "dispossession", given that the previous inhabitants would be forced to make room for a new state as punishment for their anti-LGBT crimes and bigotry? Is opposition to the existence of an LGBT nation-state homophobic and transphobic? Should the previous inhabitants be entitled to wage all-out war and engage in terroristic violence against LGBT people and the LGBT state in order to "reclaim" their territory from the "queer running dogs of Western imperialists"? Should there be a global boycott, divestment and sanctions movement against the LGBT nation-state?
