Who would you be in 1917 Russia?

During the revolution, there were many factions trying to gain rule. In short, there were the revolutionary Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, and Socialist Revolutionaries against the capitalist and reactionary forces such as Cadets and the more radical ultranationalists. These factions fought and debated until the Bolshevik victory. But which one would you be on and support? Feel free to post results and discuss the revolution. I believe it was inevitable and the Bolsheviks won rightly.

I don't really care for any of the factions in the Russian revolution. If I had to pick one it would probably be the Green Army.

Left SR.

With the beginning of the Revolution, a left oppositionist fraction formed in the Socialist-Revolutionary (SR) Party. They were for a swift end to the imperialist war; rapidly giving land to the peasants; and halting support for the Provisional Government, which they proposed be replaced by a ’uniform socialist’ one. This group was headed by Boris Kamkov and Maria Spiridonova. Soon after the October Coup, the Left SRs joined the Council of People’s Commissars together with the Bolsheviks, at which point they formed the Party of Left SR-Internationalists. In the general list of the Constituent Assembly they received 40 of the party’s 715 deputy mandates. The Left SRs left the Council of People’s Commissars after the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was signed with Germany, although they continued to work in the Soviets and the ranks of the Council until July 6, 1918.

I am as libertarian socialist as it gets, so I am far away from all the factions in 1917 Russia according to the test, but if I seriously had to choose, it would be either the Anarchists or the Left SR.

A Communist guerilla turned officer who ended up sent to the Gulag for calling Stalin a Fascist, then got let out of the gulag because the Red Army desperately needed officers. Then I would be shot for being too popular. (Read: Having 3 fans)
