Backstory: John Jonah Jameson was born into a abusive family giving him a cynical view on peoples motives directly translating to heroes. He became a part-time journalist and met his wife Joan in high school. He bought the financially failing Daily Bugle and became it's editor in chief. He quickly turned the newspaper into a success by being tough on the mob, a move that was not common due to fear getting him into trouble with the Kingpin. Later on, he became popular with his anti-Spiderman articles and his fiery rants. Over time his position softened ever so slightly. After the defeat of the Avengers, he has moved his attention to the world of Organized crime and the new Young Avengers who he claims are irresponsible and too young.
Powers/Weapons/Tech:[/b] His only real power is his voice. Though old he can still sway public opinion despite what facts would show about the people he talks about. He also knows Boxing and Tai Chi
Weaknesses: Without the Daily Bugle he is an old man without much in the way of physical defense.

Backstory: Katherine "Kitty" Anne Pryde was leading the normal life of an extremely gifted twelve year old girl in Deerfield, Illinois when she began suffering increasingly intense headaches. The headaches were a result of Kitty's mutant power emerging. Kitty possessed the ability to pass through solid matter.

Professor Charles Xavier located Kitty and set to recruit her for his school, and possibly as a new member of his X-Men. But it was soon found that, because of the mutant crackdown, Kitty couldn't leave the school. She became close to Professor X, but she used to sneak out to fight crime. This resulted in him becoming more strict with her, which strained their relationship. He soon died, leaving Kitty feeling lonely despite her optimistic nature. Emma Frost took over the school, with whom Kitty has a good relationship. Kitty is generally a likable person and has many friends, but she is closer to some people than others. Spider-Man is her good friend and mentor, while Jean Grey is her idol. Kitty is now contemplating sneaking out of the institution for good to join the Young Avengers, since she was childhood friends with Cassie Lang.

Powers/Weapons/Tech: Phasing/Intangibility: Shadowcat possesses the ability to pass through solid matter and objects by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object. Air & Water Walking: Using her phasing/intangibility ability, Shadowcat can freely walk on both air and water. In fact, she could use her ability to walk on water and the air from the ground to the upper stories of a building as if she were climbing a staircase. Camouflage and Invisibility. Selective Intangibility: Allows others to become intangible and make other objects intangible by making them pass through other massive solid objects easily such as buildings, planes, and trains. Master Martial Artist.
Weaknesses: Kitty is untrained and so her powers are sometimes unstable. She is also a bit naive and too easily trusts people.
Skills: Skilled dancer. She's a linguist; She speaks fluent Japanese, Russian, the royal and standard languages of the Shi'ar Empire, and Skrullos. She also has moderate expertise in Gaelic, and knows some phrases in Hebrew.
