Nerv gave the short version: She was a game mod back in 2003-2004 (so pre-Jolt, way back on the original forum,) and although a most outspoken left-leaning person politically, she had for the most part seemed reasonable and level-headed. Right up until Bush got re-elected in 2004 and conservative players were celebrating the victory over in NSG. There were some overreactions, outright misuse of mod power, and when the dust settled she was dishonorably discharged from the team.

Best way I could describe it was like somebody had flipped a switch, because she never did quite seem to settle down from it, and she and her husband both tried to make an enormous nuisance of themselves until they were kicked off for good in 2006. Granted, with the benefit of hindsight now, we probably should have DOSed her immediately; and in the (hopefully unlikely) event of another rogue mod, that will likely be what happens.

Maybe the nation was restored and then reDEAT, or maybe her mod nation was of a slightly different spelling, and thus we're looking at the wrong one.

I know this conversation is from a couple of days ago, but I can verify via reading old Jolt archive posts that her mod nation was indeed "Stephistan". I know she deleted herself before the mod tools were taken from her; maybe another mod saw that as illegitimate and revived her nation for her, and she continued to use it (example here) until it was deleted for real in 2006; I've always wondered this myself, as I can't find anything regarding the 2006 DEAT. I also don't believe she was ever declared DoS.

By the way, it's good to see this TET moving faster than the past few.

Also, how did they get Luna's post to say 8 Apr 2009 as its posting date, when Luna hadn't joined the forum, and the post ID is consistent with a 2017 posting date?

Is it possible that there’s some ambiguity to whether or not April 8, 2009 was the true posting date? Perhaps the system is broken, or your miscalculations about the time of founding of Luna is wrong.

And I heard something about the year 2017 in relation to when this topic was made. The first few posts were made in 2017. So that could possibly explain the mixup.

No they can't. I have made reports on previous occasions where the individual deleted the offensive post before I could quote it. However, even with screenshots of the post which I provided in the reports, the mods cannot act on them. That shows that they cannot see deleted posts.

Welp, my buddies came over for my birthday and we have been playing mega monopoly for the past 5ish hours. It's results in a 3 vs 2 conglomerate co-partner ship forming where myself and two of my friends are part of a limited liability group versus my two other friends who are pulling a merger atm. We paused for an early morning fast food run.

I've been in games of Monopoly where similar things have happened. It's always a lot of fun, with the games sometimes going on and off for days.

I honestly think you’re taking this too far. If I got a message from you like that, I’d be apologetic. If I was in an extremely bad mood, I’d go off NS for a short time. Everyone does to ‘be free’ from whatever stands in their way. But suicide? Too far. No one should be hurt from a forum game correction so much they would kill themselves over it.

And they could be busy and caught up with real life work. Not everyone appears on NS every few hours or so.
