The first electric formula car racing event in the Perhimpunan Indonesia region and possibly in the Nationstates multiverse. Formula PI features a very intensive race between drivers on urban roads. We are pioneers in the development of electric car racing sports and its systems. The Formula PI was conceived by Pambudia together with the early members of the region by the name of PI Grandprix which is short for the Perhimpunan Indonesia Grand Prix. The purpose of organizing this racing championship is to bring the members of the region of Perhimpunan Indonesia closer together in a family with an amazing and competitive sports roleplay event.

Championship & Standings
PI - Grand Prix consists of two separate titles - one dedicated to the drivers and another dedicated to the teams. The drivers championship is awarded to whichever driver has accumulated the most points over the seven race. Whereas the teams championship is decided by calculating both driver’s scores throughout the season.

Points System
Formula PI follows the standard points system, which is used in the WGPC race series by giving points to the top 10.
    1st — 20 pts
    2nd — 18 pts
    3rd — 16 pts
    4th — 14 pts
    5th — 12 pts
    6th — 10 pts
    7th — 8 pts
    8th — 6 pts
    9th — 4 pts
    10th — 2 pts
    11th to last — 0 pts
Additional points are also awarded for securing Pole Position and achieving Fastest Lap. Driver who start from pole position get three additional points, while the driver who wins the fastest lap during the race receives one additional point. However, the driver must finish in the top 10 to get extra points Fastest Lap. If not, then the other driver in position 10 with the next fastest lap will get points.

Race Format
Shakedown - Shakedown sessions are held on Friday or the day before the race starts but this depends on the tracks available. The driver uses this session to check the electronic system and the reliability of the car, but not overall performance because the car is running at a reduced speed. In this session, the track layout, sidewalks, and features are examined by Formula PI, taking into account feedback from the drivers and the teams.
The power of the car is limited to only 110KW

Practice - Each race has two practice sessions, a 45-minute opening session followed by a further 30-minute session. This is the first time the teams and drivers will go down to the track in the specified time conditions because they feel the track and adapt to the car's settings. Even though the timer is on, it doesn't count toward the final result. However, this is only a training session.
The power of a car for 250KW

Qualifying - Qualifying determine the order of drivers who will start the race, with the fastest driver starting first and slowest behind. The session lasts an hour and the order of the drivers in the qualifying session is determined by the overall finish order in the previous PI-Prix. After an hour of qualifying session, each driver must circle one more lap to get the fastest pole position and lap
The power of a car for 250KW

PI-Prix - a race session or PI-Prix, starting with a start where the racer waits until the start light turns green. Drivers line up on the start grid. PI-Prix lasts for 45 minutes and after 45 minutes the first-order driver has crossed the finish line, there is still one more round that must be passed until the race ends.

Tire & Allocation
The 18-inch all-weather tires used by all teams and drivers are supplied by Federer, the official Formula PI tire supplier. Each driver cannot use more than four new rear tires and four new front tires for each PI-Prix. That means they have to make a total of the last two sets of tires from Shakedown to the end of the race.

Charging Times
Charging the car is forbidden during both qualifying and the race, as well as throughout parc ferme and scrutineering. Teams can charge the cars in-between sessions and during practice.

Scorination Tool
The tool used to scorinate in this electric car race event is the latest version of Xkoranate. As for the second season PI-Prix and the possibility of another season thereafter, Formula PI will use The Racing Scorinator V2 made by Audioslavia

Sankt Michelia - On this sunny morning, the wind blows slowly through the historical city. On one of the city's highways which was used as a race circuit, a barrier was installed which ran along the race route. this time two drivers from Pambudia will take part in practical sessions to manage the ability of the car to get the best position in the qualifying round later.

With me there is Adnan Herdian, who is an Pambudian driver from Garuda-Telepam TEAM.

Reporter: Hello, Good Morning Adnan!

Adnan: Hi, Good Morning (he looks at the camera) Hi, good morning viewers too

Reporter: Okay, looks like you already feel ready for the qualification round later?

Adnan: Yes, of course

Reporter: May be told, what preparations have you made for today's practice session?

Adnan: There is no more preparation, it's just that the mechanics try to adjust the car according to my racing performance. I hope this session goes well.

Reporter: This is the inaugural event at the PI - Grand Prix first season. Is there any hope to be conveyed for the biggest electric auto racing event at the Perhimpunan Indonesia?

Adnan: The hope for this event is that every race will run safely and successfully and can be a foundation for future development. that's all

Reporter: well, thanks Adnan. Hopefully your practice session is as planned with your team. (Adnan shakes the reporter's hand and then goes to the headquarters of his team)
Okay, so that's a bit of a conversation between me and Adnan Herdian, one of the drivers from Pambudia who took part in the regional electric auto racing, PI - Grand Prix.

First Season of PI Grand Prix to Begin in Sankt Michelia

Image
An aerial overview of Sankt Michelia, Pambudia.

SANKT MICHELIA - The first-ever season of Perhimpunan Indonesia Grand Prix (PI-GP) will officially begin this week, starting with the Grand Prix Sankt Michelia on Saturday (10/08/19) in the namesake city of Sankt Michelia, Pambudia. Seven teams from across three continents will send their top drivers to participate in the race, speeding through the Sankt Michelia Streetview Circuit where this season's first race will be held. The PI-GP is a regional single-seater electric car championship where all nations in Perhimpunan Indonesia are welcome to send their teams to compete in the races, most of which will take place in urban environments such as street circuits.

Majapahit sends its famed electric racing team, Surya Kencana GP, to take part in the championship, represented by two experienced drivers: Bayu Silaban and Karin Roshanti. The pair has been a part of the team since its inception a few years ago and has won many domestic championship titles together with the team. Recently, they and the rest of Surya Kencana has been preparing for Season I of PI-GP.

"It is an honour for both of us to be able to represent our Empire at the international level," Bayu Silaban stated in an interview on Wednesday (07/08/19) after several hours of intense practice laps. "We do hope that this event could be a platform to increase the popularity of electric car racing, as currently it isn't really highlighted as much as other motorsport competitions in mainstream media. Karin and I also hope that we can bring something back home for His Imperial Majesty and for all Majapahitis across our Empire."

Surya Kencana GP's chairman, Rendi Budiman, believes that the two have an "incredible chance of winning the race". Besides their prior experience in motorsport, they are also supported by an entire team of skilled engineers, technicians, and crew ready to concentrate all their efforts on maximising their performance later this Saturday. Furthermore, the electric cars they will be using, dubbed the SKM19, is "very well optimised for the nature and environment of events such as the PI-GP," the chairman also publicly stated.

One of the races will be held in Majapahit, as confirmed by the Imperial Bureau of Youth & Sports. The Trowulan Bandar Singa Grand Prix, the second race in this season of PI-GP, is scheduled to be held on 14 August and will take place in Bandar Singa Street Circuit. Drivers will weave through many landmarks within the Bandar Singa city centre, and the race itself shall be attended by His Imperial Majesty Emperor Jayanagara VII as the main guest.

A Podium and DNF for Surya Kencana

Image
The race was heated.

SANKT MICHELIA - Starting from their 5th and 7th positions, Surya Kencana drivers Bayu Silaban and Karin Roshanti did not at all expect the final result they got at the Grand Prix Sankt Michelia this Saturday (10/08/19). The race took place in the Sankt Michelia Streetview Circuit, stretching for over 4 kilometers, and consisted of 25 laps in total. Majapahiti attendance to the race was recorded at the thousands, including the Youth & Sports minister, Soumakil Effendy and the rest of his staff.

As the red lights above their starting positions disappear, both Bayu and Karin blasted off and overtook several other drivers, eventually reaching the position of 3rd and 4th, respectively. Several other attempts by their competition successfully seized their positions momentarily. However, they managed to regain their composure and continued on at 3rd and 5th until the 8th lap, when the unexpected happened.

At the sharp penultimate turn of the circuit, Karin accidentally crashed into the rear of another driver in front of her. The said driver's car was surprisingly just fine and he would later take a pit stop in the next lap. Karin's car, however, swerved and hit a wall of tyres as a result of the first impact. There was nothing she could do at that moment besides stepping out of her car and ending the race early. She did not finish.

The 24th and 25th lap were arguably the most heated. Bayu Silaban was focused on defending his 3rd position from Zuzak Borisky while attempting to overtake Abdul Salam to steal the 2nd position. He managed to do so in the beginning of the final lap, passing Abdul flawlessly. The latter's attempts to regain control of the second place was in vain, as Bayu successfully held on to his hard-earned position. As the chequered flag waved, Bayu finished at second place.

This was surely an excellent result for the first race of the season. Bayu earned 20 points for reaching 2nd place. However, the entire Surya Kencana team must reevaluate everything before celebrating. While Bayu managed to gain a podium, Karin's result in the race was very far from satisfying. Furthermore, the repairs to the damage will cost the team hundreds of thousands of dhanas. The Majapahiti team has three days to prepare for the next race in their own hometown - Bandar Singa Grand Prix.

What happen in Sankt Michelia Yesterday ?

The inaugural PI - Grand Prix race took place at 3 pm yesterday on the Sankt Michelia street circuit. when the race began, competition between drivers to get pole position was very fierce. keep in mind the electric car speed can reach 225 km/h with a very low noise level of only 80 dB, very low compared to the WGPC's car which ranges from 130 dB so it is not a problem if the race is held in the middle of the streets of big cities.

Hitkail Nyhinthan from Tualua Reds Bulls had to experience problems with his vehicle on the third lap so he could not continue racing. as well as the driver of the Surya Kencana GP, Karin Roshanti who had to finish her race on eighth lap because shi hit the driver in front of her and Rahmat Effendi who finished the race first because there was a problem with his car.

Congratulations to the two drivers from Andalusin PI-GP Racing and a driver from Surya Kencana GP who managed to get on the podium at the inaugural race this season. The second race will be held in Bandar Singa with Imperial Majapahit as the host.

Surya Kencana Off to a Good Start

Image

BANDAR SINGA - The second race of this year's Season I of Perhimpunan Indonesia Grand Prix will be taking place in the Empire of Majapahit, in the streets of Bandar Singa, to be precise. Trowulan Bandar Singa Grand Prix will be held tomorrow (14/08/19), where drivers will weave through the city centre, passing through many famous landmarks such as the Singa Flyer and the Imperial Gardens. The qualifying session for the race has just ended this evening, with promising results for the upcoming race.

Karin Roshanti and Bayu Silaban, drivers of Majapahit's very own Surya Kencana GP, has managed to grab 2nd and 3rd place in the qualifying session. Hence, these results are being viewed very optimistically by the rest of the team. Everyone has high hopes that both of these talented drivers can show a similarly spectacular performance at the actual race on Wednesday, 1PM local time. On the other hand at the pole position is Garuda-Telepam's Adnan Herdian, while at the fourth spot is Redstar's Zuzak Borisky.

"We are off to a good start tomorrow," stated Rendi Budiman, Surya Kencana GP's chairman. "I am very positive that our team could achieve satisfying results tomorrow, or even above and beyond our initial expectations."

The Imperial Bureau of Youth & Sports have confirmed that the race tomorrow will be spectated by His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Jayanagara VII, the rest of the Imperial family, and several high-ranking officials. Ticket sales for the race have skyrocketed this afternoon, with attendance expected to number hundreds of thousands.

"Yes, the [Youth & Sports] Bureau have informed the team that His Imperial Majesty will be attending the race," said Karin Roshanti in a post-qualifying press conference, "Bayu and I are very excited and we look forward to give everyone our best tomorrow, especially after my unsatisfying result in the first race. I hope I can requite that mistake in tomorrow's race."

Adnan Herdian on the Pole in Qualifying Session

The qualifying session for the second race in Bandar Singa lasted for an hour yesterday from starting at 2 pm to 3 pm. the result, Garuda-Telepam TEAM's Adnan Herdian won pole position with a time of 1m 50.037s and with a time difference of 0.325 seconds from Karin Roshanti, the host driver who finished second. Meanwhile, another Pambudian driver, Purwanto Supradi, placed eighth in the qualifying session in Bandar Singa Street Circuit, Imperial Majapahit.

Today's Grand Prix at Bandar Singa might a bit harder and challenging for Adnan Herdian where there are two host drivers who will start the race from second and third positions. coupled with drivers from Sundakelapa, Zuzak Borisky who finished fourth and Tualua Reds Bulls driver Hitkail Nyhinthan in fifth. Garuda-Telepam TEAM has made vehicle settings ranging from the interior to the exterior to suit both driver styles.

Grand Prix itself will begin at 1 pm Bandar Singa time. of course we always hope that Pambudian drivers can finish in the front position.

His Imperial Majesty's team triumphant!

Image

BANDAR SINGA - The entire nation rejoiced in victory as the chequered flag waved in the air. A maroon red car zoomed through the finish line, followed by another one twelve seconds later. Karin Roshanti and Bayu Silaban, drivers of Majapahit's Surya Kencana GP team, has won this year's Trowulan Bandar Singa Grand Prix. The crowd roared, hailing the two like they were heroes of the day. And to an extent, they were.

Starting from the 2nd and 3rd place in the grid, Karin and Bayu sped off to a decent start as the red lights blinked off. In the early laps, the two faced fierce competition from Zuzak Borisky and Hitkail Nyinthan, who started behind them. Zuzak nearly caught on to Bayu as they passed through the Esplanade waterfront, but the Surya Kencana driver managed to hold him off. For several more laps, the situation were mostly under control, with Karin closely tailing the pole driver, Adnan Herdian, attempting to overtake him over and over.

Fortunately, this time there were no major accidents involving the drivers. All twelve drivers managed to finish the 25 laps relatively safely. Unlike in the previous race, which was held in Pambudia's Sankt Michelia Streetview Circuit, where Karin Roshanti crashed into the rear of another driver and did not finish (DNF) the race. Hitkail Nyhinthan and Rahmat Effendi also experienced problems and did not finish the race because of it.

Purwanto Supriadi succeeded in overtaking Bayu in the 20th lap, at the sharp turn after Empress Place. But by this point, Karin had successfully taken over the first place from Adnan, who went down to 6th place. The final five laps were heated as Purwanto attempted to overtake Karin and in turn, Bayu tried hard to overtake him. As the chequered flag waved in the final lap, Karin was the first to go through the finish line, followed by Purwanto, and then Bayu.

The double podium for Surya Kencana GP meant a shower of points for both the drivers and the constructor. The crowd cheered in rejoice.

The post-race press conference was surprising. When Bayu and Karin have finished answering the questions asked to them, an all-familiar figure entered the press room. Escorted by several guards, it was His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Jayanagara VII. He congratulated the three drivers for their excellent performance and prime sportsmanship. The three drivers and Rendi Budiman, chairman of Surya Kencana GP, then took a picture with His Imperial Majesty.

The atmosphere was wild. This race has proven Majapahit to emerge victorious, both as a host and a participant in this season's Trowulan Bandar Singa Grand Prix. Highlights of the race and videos of the press conference can be viewed on our website.
