Bio: The earliest memory Haiwen would have, was being given up to a group of travelling troubadours until they approached a monastery, of which he would be trained as one of the many children there. In his youth, he learned of the Gods, basic reading and writing, and partook in wrestling and other physical activities, of which he excelled. While disinterested in the stuffy and formal sermons of priesthood, the tales of the Gods and Heroes of old always piqued his interest. Between that, and his gregarious nature, it was only a matter of time before he returned to a troupe. Now, he is brought before Song Yu, and whatever judgement the Warlord will pass upon him...

Bio: Born to a poor peasant family in central Xia, Zhao was taught by his elders and learned about myths from his parents. He spent years performing tricks for the entertainment for his friends and neighbours, and eventually perfected each one he knew. After leaving his village at age 25, he set out to find work. Sadly, he was turned down by everyone he met. He then stumbled upon a small town, where he stayed for a while and made some friends. They then told him that his "magic" was a great tool to earn some cash. After fooling some travellers and winning bets in taverns, he became wealthy enough to buy enough supplies to travel around the known world. Now in his 50s, he plans to return to the Xia Kingdom after finding out heating turtle shells revealed cracks, which could in turn be used as "oracle bones".

Born in a village in the Liaodong Peninsula, Chen managed to raise an army strong enough to conquer the small peninsula and establish a government. He is the leader of the Chen Dynasty and the king of the self proclaimed kingdom on the peninsula, a peaceful kingdom that has a large army but will not use it often. It only brings out its army when it has been invaded or there is a conflict in the surrounding bay, being a very territorial kingdom. A scholar himself, Chen is very close to the other scholars in the kingdom and will usually make good decisions and values Chinese philosophy.

Hmm. So if a character have lower stat in certain aspect they'll be weaker automatically compared to others who have higher stat?

In theory yes but they function more as loose guidelines as to not be too restrictive. I made Duel and Valor separate stats as it made sense.

Do you intend them to be fixed? Or our characters are going to have some development that may upgrade or downgrade their stats?

Fixed but can be upgraded, like a life event gives +5 intellect after meeting Taoists and becoming one or his strategic mind changes for example. What qualifies is up to players just don't go overboard.

Well, the world is our oyster as you says it. That's settles my doubt. I'll start slow, since this is from 1,600 BC to present day (that is if you can actually manage on such long term scale). This has the potential to be epic.
