"Things have been going well, Reiner has been sick the past few days, so my wife has been forced to stay up all night. These long nights are going to be the end of me." the Chancellor said just as the beginning of the summit was to be called. They were in a circular chamber, with the seats shaped like a semi-circle. Leaders from each attending nation including the Chancellor were sitting in these seats, while a moderator, and whoever would be speaking would be in the center of the room. The Moderator was Vice-Chancellor Norman Becker.

The First speaker was Chancellor Yaroslav due to the recent horrible attacks that were conducted against his nation.

"I hope Reiner gets bett..." My reply was quickly cut off as the summit was called and World leaders with their dignitaries began to pour into the large circular chamber. I gave a polite nod to Chancellor Jule Beaulne, but I continued to wait outside the large chamber for my Minister of War. As more and more dignitaries continued to pour in I looked into the crowd expecting to see her approaching me. I'm sure I looked quite interesting, to say the least, but she was the only person who accompanied to the summit. Nonetheless, when it became evident she wasn't outside the large chamber I turned towards the large chamber entrance and saw her silently waiting for me. It gave me quite the fright which I'm glad no one saw...or hoped no one saw.

"Gah...you scared me, Pülveh! When did you pass me?" I asked as I motioned my Minister of War to enter the summit chamber.

"I entered the summit chamber while you were distracted with Chancellor Jule Beaulne." She replied with a sly grin growing across her face.

"I swear..." I said with an exasperated sigh, "Anyways, find our seats. I have to go up and talk."

Sofia gave a slight nod then turned away and began to walk passed seated dignitaries looking for our seats. Meanwhile, I was making my way to the center of the chamber. I sensed that all eyes were on me and if this was my first year in office I would have certainly felt sick. Thankfully I wasn't some young pup with zero experience under my belt. As I reached the center I took a deep breath and acknowledged the Moderator with polite nod.

I looked over the crowd of dignitaries and world leaders. Their faces calm and unemotional as they awaited my speech. I took a sip of the complimentary water.

“As you know my nation, The United Federation of Treko, was recently attacked by the communist regime that rules over the nation of Anavokya. In an effort to curb communist expansionism I gave the clearance for an airstrike against military personnel in the nation in Anavokya. In retaliation, Anavokya launched a series of missile strike against us. A majority of these missiles were shot down. However, our missile defense system is not flawless and missiles did hit their targets. The most devastating of these attack was against a community college in the Raahe district taking out a massive part in the east wing of the college. Over 130 students were killed in the attack...Only a few days later did Anavokyan forces push into a rogue province of Stravel, and the National People’s Army was deployed to Anasolvokia. This red menace is already exerting its ideology over free nations.

Treko itself has resisted the influence of communism for decades and we will continue to resist this threat until the end of days. However, we cannot do this alone. We ask that military intervention be voted upon and enforced to combat this threat. To destroy communism here would bring about future allies that could help prevent the rise of communism in the future.”

When the Trekkish chancellor finished speaking, Chancellor Jule Beaulne spoke "The Arcadian Federation supports the Trekkish delegation in its calls for a strike against the threat in Anavokya. The Federation is willing to deploy the Foreign Legion until Congress approves of combat deployments of Arcadian national troops."

The delegates from Stravel, and Anaslovakia, while not members of ASAF supported the Trekkish delegation in the hopes of the conflict not spreading, and to end this fight once and for all. Both delegations have recently had thier nations fall under fire, with rebels fighting on the Stravel border, and an outright invasion of Anaslovakia.

General Mobilization Orders

The 2nd Parachute Infantry Regiment and the 1st Armored Cavalry Regiment of the 1st Legion force are hereby mobilized by order of the Chancellory under lawful orders of defense bill DL 98.c, and the Mirante act which permits deployment of the Foreign Legion before Congress votes in favor of combat deployments for Arcadian Military Forces.

Officers of the 2nd Parachute Infantry Regiment and the 1st Armored Cavalry Regiment are to report to their commanding officer for briefing on the deployment to the United Federation of Treko. Non-Commissioned Officers are hereby ordered to begin preparing enlisted personnel for the upcoming deployment.

Any personnel of Anavokyan nationalities are to be interviewed by their command to affirm their loyalty to the Foreign Legion. If any Legionnaire from the Anavokyan Republic is seen unfit for deployment into Anavokya report them to military command for unit reassignment. The offense of Desertion has been elevated for these units.

While the main parties suffered smaller defections of MP’s voting in protest against another war. Now that the bill had passed the House of Commons it was now headed for the Senate for another vote, the Senate vote went down the same party lines that it had in the House of Commons. It passed this hurdle as well as 266 to 34.

With the second negotiation ready to begin, Heiko watched the news of the trail from the meeting room. As he watched the news, Minister Jaller Tanma walked in, and Ambassador Heiko stood up and shook his hand and spoke "Long time." Heiko has met the minister at several political functions over the years. When they both took thier seats and pointed to the news and said "Its nice to see your government acting rationally for once."

As he entered the room the Arcadian was staring at the TV screen watching the trial of Tatskua Junhad, Butcher of Igano and finest military commander of the Guanjan Federal Party, now a 80 or so year old man who had retired in Arcadia after being forced to flee the country as many Federal Party members were executed for their war crimes. Many other first-generation Arcadian Guanjans were among those being tried, all previous members of the Guanjan Federal Party, the organisation responsible for the death of the previous Sultan and oppression and execution of those loyal to the Sultan. Jaller did not wish for these talks to last long, very few Guanjans tolerated official Arcadian presence in the country, but the Royal Minister was a minister of the Sultan's foreign affairs and he would not fail his Sultan. "Quite," he responded when Ambassador Veiel remarked on long it had been since they had seen each other. They were no friends, merely acquainted. After sitting down, the Arcadian Ambassador spoke. Jaller managed to keep a tight lock on his frustration and spoke back. "Yes mister Veiel, dare I say it's nice to see your government acting rationally for once if you're quite done funding federalist terrorists and insulting us after the Sultan saw it fit to give the Arcadians a second chance." Jaller motioned to the butler to turn off the TV and he did, cutting Tatskua off mid-sentence. "The trials are not the subject of these talks, however, you gave us these criminals in good faith, we will talk." The sun shone brightly over Guanja today in traditional fashion, making the Arcadian sweat even with the air conditioning on. "Now I suggest we discuss something beneficial to us both, a free trade deal. We drop our economic sanctions on you, and you drop whatever tariffs you might have right now." proposed Jaller as he took a sip of spiced Hakaari tea.

After the FASC and UFT delegates responded it was time for the delegates of the AOS (Autocracy of Slaveška) to announce their position. Autarch Ferdinand Tennfjord rose and and began to speak with confidence.

”The Slaveškan Government has always stood by the side of Treko for as long as we can remember. Despite several government and leadership changes over the course of many years the Slaveškan people have always been there with their Trekkish brothers and sisters. Today the Autocracy of Slaveška continues to stand by Treko as we vote in favor of military action!”

As the Autarch sat down Niko Gjorov stood up began to follow up with a situational report.

”Leaders and Delegates, my name is Niko Gjorov and I am the Minister of War for Slaveška. Since the attack our bases have been put on high alert. At the present time Jaroslava Air Force Base in Treko has been put on a Zulu Alert status...ready to go at a moments notice. By the end of today Tennfjord Air Force Base in Treko will also be at Zulu Alert. This means the 95th, 10th, 44th Bomber Groups as well as the 5th Fighter Group are at an 85% or higher Fully Mission capable Rate. When the time is right they will be put to good use. Mobilization of Airborne troops, BMV12 missile trucks, and other armored fighting vehicles will be staged at Jaroslava and a coalition base. Give the order and you shall have the troops to fight these senseless beasts.”

Niko Gjorov nodded to both the Trekkish and FASC delegates before sitting down. Before sundown today the order would come down and mobilization would begin.

Despite Slaveška’s primary source of energy being Nuclear, the coal industry has been able to thrive with very little damage. According to sources approximately five thousand workers were laid off after Nuclear Energy starting taking precedence in the nation. That number would have been three times higher had there not been a demand for coal.

Coal is the nations third source of energy right after Nuclear and Renewable Energy (Solar, Hydro etc.) But the demands are not nearly as high as they were thirty years ago...foreign investors have been seeking coal, or rather coal products such as coke, and the Slaveškan Mining Industry has been making a push to keep their industry alive and well. Foreign Investors answered their prayers as the demand for coke suppliers increased.

Možnost Siva of Laško Alpine Racing set a HUGE pace in yesterday’s race. Siva lead the race by a 15 second gap which was unheard of in the Markion GP. To add on to the victory Laško’s Alissa Gallio came in second landing Laško an impressive double podium! Možnost Siva has this to say about yesterday’s race...”It was an impressive win for both myself and the team. Whatever the mechanics did with the car...keep doing it!”

Siva went on to talk about the rivalry between Leipford and Laško. ”Last season we definitely hit our problems with the car. This was evident in the last half of the season when Leipford seized the championship. This season has just begun but it’s promising for Laško Alpine Racing. Leipford drivers congratulated me on my win but they vowed the rivalry was alive and well and they would be giving me a run for my money. I whole heartedly believe them and expect to see much more rivalries blossom through out the race season with other teams. It’s a part of the sport, we trash talk, we compete, but must importantly we have fun on and off the track!

In the days following the horrifying outbreak of violence across Markion, official information on what transpired has been sparse. In the Placeodermsian capital of Kamooko, the city has finally lifted its nearly a week of emergency rule, and issued a report on the events, including damages and casualties, in order to put to rest some of the swirling speculation.

Immediately, a horrifying revelation. Among the dozens of dead has been counted Pierre Mackenzie, former leader of the ill-fated Parti Liberal of the exiled Parliament of the Green Union, who was preparing to meet with local officials in a Kamooko community centre when it was stormed by gunmen. Investigators are not certain whether Mackenzie was killed by gunshot wounds or complications caused by improvised firebombs which later destroyed the building, as his corpse was in too poor a state for a definitive autopsy.

Pierre Mackenzie was a politician who, despite being left irreversibly damaged and wheelchair-ridden by the last terrorist attack on Kamooko, went on to become a respected leader in the early Kamooko Pact. His vision influenced much of the framework for the alliance, and many workers touched by his work in the KP and earlier, as prime minister of the Green Union, have been quick to offer their condolences to the man’s friends and family.


While the city of Kamooko’s report contains a wealth of information which has been gained on the events of this day and their consequences, it is notably lacking in one major category. No information on the perpetrators or their motivation has been made available, which is in line with very disturbing trends across Markion. Nobody, it seems, can pin down where these attacks came from or what they mean.

Quietly, the KP has reached out to the intelligence services of its members, and organized a meeting of intelligence heads in the KP headquarters to discuss next steps.

The Kamooko Pact has announced the new operational status of its first stand-alone base on September Island, making use of the former Ministry of Justice headquarters in September City to house soldiers, political advisors, and aid workers.

Once a place of notoriety, where political dissidents may be held indefinitely in terrible conditions, the building will now serve as the centre for coordinating KP efforts on September Island, ensuring the neutrality and stability of the transitioning country even as the seas all around are boiling up in conflict.

Observers have criticized the KP mission to September Island as being slow and ineffective, particularly in its aims to guarantee the island’s neutrality in the Sevevill-UCSO war. Starting with only a dozen unarmed military personnel working out of a motel, many saw the effort as a laughable gesture amid the very real threat of a Sevevillian invasion. But when weeks turned into months and the feared assault never took place, the KP force began to slowly grow.

The garrison today still lacks even personal weapons, but its size and scope of mission have seen notable growth, now holding influence over the drafting of this new country’s political system and civic reconstruction. The choice of such a large abandoned building as headquarters suggests anticipation of even more aggressive growth.

It was a cool and rainy day on Erika Zytowski’s first day of college. It was during her first class, that she met two people who would impact the course of her life over the next 15 years. Her pre-class preparation was interrupted by a voice, “Hey, do you mind if I sit here?”.
“Yea, sure help yourself.” Erika said without shifting her focus from the syllabus she was reading.
“Thanks, I didn’t think it would be so packed on the first day, my name is Rose by the way.” she said.
“What’s your name stranger?” Rose asked
“It’s Erika” Erika said.
“Cool name, so are you from around here?”
“No, sadly I’m from boring Pyrgos.”
“That’s great! You have got to let me show you around.”
“Is anyone sitting here?” Someone asked in a low voice.
“No, help yourself." Erika was happy to have a distraction from Rose.
“Thanks.” she said.
“So, what’s your name?” Rose asked the newcomer.
“Uhm, its Éco.” the girl was quiet but managed to squeak out a question to the pair.
“So, what are your names?" Erika started to respond but Rose beat her to it.
“This is Erika, and I’m Rose.” Rose's eyes were full energy, keen to make a new friend and introduce herself.

Éco let out a disappointed sigh before replying. “Umm, north of Placeoderms.”
Rose blushed and moved to quickly change the subject, “So how are you liking it here?”

The start of the lecture dampened Rose’s mood; she had wanted to learn more about her new friends.

Panic In Rudshore As Fungal Disease Spreads

Originally only thought to be a minor outbreak, the Fungal parasite has begun to infect local fauna and flora as well as more human victims in the capital's main hospital. Three people have died to the infection with infected being moved to a more secure facility. Local animals such as rats, pigeons and more have been found paralysed and studied, with the Medical Academy of Rudony finding the infection after the creatures died and were allowed to dissect the animals. It was also discovered in rooms in which the infected had been that plants in pots had mushrooms growing out of stalks, leaves and other parts of he plant, spreading the spores via the air until they were discovered. Roughly a hundred and fifty people are currently infected with smaller cases developing in other cities in the Isles. A travel advisory has been issued to all incoming visitors to Rudony, advising caution and to take steps to keep oneself away from infected areas and protecting against infection. Many are asking where this disease has come from with journalists speculating furiously. The military has begun to deploy more marines to Rudshore in order to keep stability in the area with supporting CBRN units on standby.

As diplomatic discussions continued unaware of the trial, one by one the accused federalists were charged with terrorist acts and conspiring to assassinate the previous Sultan. Many more charges were listed off every time a new defendant came up this was the final day of the trials and the final day of diplomatic talks, the Arcadians and Guanjans talked for hours on end getting nowhere every day and promising the people results the next, today was the last chance for the Arcadians to make use of their diplomatic capital. Finally, the trials came to close and Tutskua Junhad, along with the rest of the defendants, were sentenced to death.

Rudony Accepts Altos & Stratis Aid

After brief discussions between Altostratis and Rudony's ministries of foreign affairs, the Rudon government has seen it fit to accept aid and assistance from the gracious Republic. After several investigations, the military has determined that this is not merely a new undiscovered disease, but a ripple effect of the Great Loss terror attack that cost the lives of thousands across Markion. It seems that the terrorists had a secondary objective and deployed the disease that was genetically modified to be highly infectious and to effect almost all forms of life. The Rudon military has officially issued a state of emergency and has begun to deploy troops across Rudony to find the source of the disease's release. The government is considering enacting martial law as the terrorists may still be at large, and any deaths caused by the disease are being considered victims of the terror group.

The Tercenars Request to Join the Kamooko Pact

When the Tercenars arrived in Kamooko, they made an occasion of it. Oriana dressed vibrantly for the occasion, her slender purple and gold dress fitting her svelte body well. She had shaved the sides of her head, then tied and braided her hair, in tradition with Tercenar fashion, back into a long ponytail that hung down to her thighs. In Tercenar, particularly Trenni, extensively long hair was common sometimes even among men. This hair would be the clay for silent competitions between nobles to make the most elaborate braids. Placeodermsian culture was not as colourful. It was a place of practicality and directness, Tercenar was almost a polar opposite.

The city of Kamooko was rather flat for a capital city. There were no towering skyscrapers as with other cities of the Federation of Arcadian States & Commonwealths. At the same time, there was also no radical difference in architecture unless one counted the many windowless buildings as architecture. The only real building that stuck out was the Turtleback Palace, shaped of a turtle's shell, supposedly a well-armoured building, much like many of the buildings in Kamooko and the republic for that matter. Placeoderms was a place where military decisions were simple; if it didn't have armour, it needed armour, because armour is good.

But the palace was not the destination of the Tercenar motorcade this day. No, the motorcade's destination was the Kamooko Pact headquarters. Few people had gathered to greet the Tercenars in the streets but the Tercenars appreciated it and servants of the Tercenar noble visitor ran alongside the convoy, giving out gifts from Tercenar in the forms of rich fruits and fine bread. Having previously discussed this was Kamooko authorities, some of the visiting Tercenars were permitted to sell silver jewellery at astonishingly low prices. Silver rings of Tercenar with the words "Fe Sobre Todo" inscribed upon it were some of the most common pieces sold. These rings were a staple of Tercenar culture and were sold to the Godless Placeodermsians. The Tercenars would share their prosperity, even if those Placeodermsians simply sold off the silver ring for more, prosperity would still flow and the Tercenars' goal would still succeed nonetheless.

The Kamooko Pact headquarters was, like the rest of the city, quite flat in the sense that it very few stories but appeared quite wide. Trenni was also a flat city but still had a few towering structures that were mainly cathedrals. Oft was Trenni called the "City of Cathedrals" alongside other nicknames such as the "Sunset City" because of its far western location, or the "Painted City" for its beautifully painted gothic architecture throughout the entire metropolis depicting biblical scripture and saints.

The Tercenars exited their cars in what seemed like droves, never had the four Kamooko representatives seen such a large entourage of diplomatic delegates, but she stood out among them; Lady Ambassador Oriana de Rialto. A stunning sight. When she got closer her large, upward slanting and gorgeous amber eyes appeared to captivate along with the rest of her voluptuous features. She greeted the representatives one by one. The Green Union representative gave a brief handshake and slight bow, knowing only that she was of noble standing and gave her that much respect. A case containing several Tercenar fountain pens made of only the finest materials was presented and to be delivered to several important figures within the KP including the representatives. Another gift was the gift of charity as the servants vacated the entrance of the headquarters and left to help and feed the homeless of the Placeodermsian capital with private indigenous guides. Finally, the representatives were presented with a large feathered hat personally hand made by Trenni's finest hatter, crafted to perfection for the Placeodermsian President alongside a simply crafted but strong and solid silver Lutheran cross necklace. In Tercenar culture, it would be an insult to do a favour for someone after receiving a gift, however, this may or may not have been lost on the hosts.

After the Tercenar-enforced gifting ceremony was complete and the Albatanian representative had left a note saying that he had gone to lunch, Oriana and the rest of her diplomatic mission that was actually important made their way inside along with the rest of the KP representatives. The rest of the Tercenars proceeded with the gift of charity to the city of Kamooko. In addition, of their own volition, Lutheran missionaries made their way to Kamooko and even some other cities of Placeoderms to spread the good word and will of the bible. The Durranese representative spoke briefly to a nearby journalist saying that "this is the loveliest invasion of foreigners he has ever seen and encountered", which was saying a lot coming from a Durranese man.

Today the Empires famed aircraft manufacturer SG has announced plans of opening a helicopter factory in the Green Union. The company is looking to add factory workers, developmental and engineering staff along with many more positions. They will also be putting a grant towards engineering colleges around the nation to help more people go to university throughout the nation and get a education. The factory will be building everything from advanced civilian helicopters to highly advanced Military helicopters. Production of the factory will start in Mount Coulon later this month after contractors are hired and security is put in place for the construction site.

The exiled Parliament of the Green Union has approached the Kamooko Pact with a request to examine the possibility of KP crisis support for Rudony. The PGU has called for a full investigation into all the possible avenues for action, up to and including the deployment of armed Pact forces to the country.

Of particular importance to the Green Union’s former government would be the verification of the Rudon government’s claims that this infection is artificially created and deployed, especially if it is related to the horrible outburst of violence now being referred to as the Great Loss. Throughout most of Markion there has persisted a strong sentiment of anger and revenge after these attacks, with notable impatience at the authorities of the region for their failure to determine those responsible.

The Kamooko Pact itself has until now completely failed to propose an entity responsible for the Great Loss, with its policy of quiet but thorough information gathering being inconclusive. All that the KDC can presently confirm is that the terrorists in every case appeared local, but were impossible to trace the actual identities of. Their weapons and munitions, similarly, were often local, but acquired through means which left no paper trails. It was not looking good.

Some fringe factions within the KP have even begun whispering that the Pact should just pin the blame on a single convenient entity, like Sevevill did with Oceania, and end the public ridicule which has come from such a long period of uncertainty. Investigating the Rudon claims could be the first big breakthrough to learning the origin of the Great Loss.

Ryune was a beacon of light at this time of the night. Rain spat down on the group of ominous figures as papers were covered, signed and hidden away so they did not become damp. When a man came up to Ming and commented on the nice weather, he chuckled but then remembered his job. "It is," he spoke in the man's language, "looking for a lift, Mr Ariago?" The Sevevillian nodded and while chatting small talk the two got into the truck and the small convoy started to make their way to Katno Ward.

"My master would like to express his gratitude, your support over these few months has been going well, and items are beginning to be fully circulated across the CSD." The convoy came to a stop at a checkpoint, ever since the Great Loss terror attacks things had been on edge. Confederate Security had started to lock down Wards all across the capital city with heavily armed checkpoints becoming a commonplace.

The Sevevillian felt the gooseflesh rise on his skin as the window was opened and guard began to check over the vehicles. Ming and the guard peaking into the cab greeted each other in Durranese, politely and briskly, after a minute, the two shook hands and Ming rolled up the window. "Nothing to worry about, these guys know what we're up to," the Seve's eyes widened, "not everything though, just enough for them to be satisfied with being cut in on some fen. Wouldn't want them knowing what we're actually planning, no?" Keller relaxed, continuing to make small talk for the rest of the journey.

As the trucks pulled into Katno Ward and made their way into the garages of Zaishazhon Tower, Keller realised that if the police corrupt in the CSD, then perhaps others might be, he knew he would report his findings after this first, in-person meeting with the Master of Zaishazhon Clan, a head clan but not the ruling Clan as the Atlas agent understood it. The pair were joined by a small group of 54i thugs, obviously there to keep the atlas agent in place as they patted him down and took anything he had on him from his phone and watch to any protection he might have. They all got into an elevator and made their way up to the top of the tower, where the meeting would take place.

Although it was hard not to be suspicious of the multitude of men he did not know. He was terrified of the possibility of these men just turning on him in a heartbeat but he knew with the backbone of the Sevevill Empire who was bankrolling this operation but this would be one of the first in person encounters with the man. As he walked out of the elevator into a room covered in marble and polished wood he removed a business card from his breast pocket prepared to meet this gentleman he would be meeting for the first time. There was almost no information obtained on him as most of Sevillian surveillance had strayed away from the underworld. Mostly focused on the governments of the KP but enough to contact him.

The Confederate government has joined the exiled parliament of the Green Union in their request to send crisis aid to Rudony and conduct an investigation alongside Rudon authorities. With cities across Markion being put on lockdown after the terror attacks and the death toll of thousands, Prime Minister Tekeshi has released a statement saying that all nations of Markion should be helping Rudony right now. Even if it is not truly the acts of terrorists, the death toll in Rudony has begun to rise to over half a thousand due to these newer attacks with no end in sight. Tekeshi has shamed every government not currently working towards helping the Rudons in their time of need. Other state officials have commented saying that blame should not be thrown to any government, group or person until an official investigation is complete and a definitive answer given to these crimes.
