So, going way, way back, what are the very first group of Defenders, and the very first group of Invaders?

I had an encounter with HYDRA when they raided my region, but that was back in 2015, which was relatively young and recent.

'The Bruce' cites a group called 'Evil' as the first actual invaders. 'The Farkers' are typically more cited as the first invader group, though the more accurate would possibly be one of several to come up with the idea relatively about the same time & were most successful of them at doing it and popularizing it.

If I recall this correctly, “Gate of Evil” was the first invader group (might have the name mixed up). The Driftwood Clan also was named as an early invader group, as were the Farkers (although definitely not the first), and later on Atlantic Alliance/Atlantic Central Command. As for the first defender group, I believe Texas had a very early defender force, which liberated 10000 Islands from Empire of Power. Not entirely sure who else were very early defender groups.

I am reasonably certain there were other early defender groups, but I can’t name them.

They didn't "liberate" us from Empire of Power, they defended us from Empire of Power. A bit of a difference there . Texas was one one of the earliest defender forces, some saying the first one. But I'm not sure if anyone knows for sure. I know that there might have been a really early defender force that fought against the Farkers, but *shrugs*.

Objectively, probably the guy that spammed us with child pornography a few years back. Needless to say, that was a "contact law enforcement" situation. Strangely enough, the DOS responsible disappeared and stopped trying to spam attack us or sneak back shortly thereafter. I can't possibly imagine why.

Probably not. All that spam was deleted (obviously) and a lot of other things in Mod only parts of the forum. And if you have names in mind, keep them to yourself. Mostly in case you are wrong, that is not a nice thing to be associated with after all

A better one would be to ask some of the old Unknown folks, but here goes:
The Brotherhood of Blood was founded in 2006 by Gerzam and New Damis. It never really rose to mainstream, and its greatest achievement was the raid and refound of Unknown. If I recall this correctly, it raided about 30-40 regions in total. Following internal strife, breaking of leadership and more internal strife, it was locked down, and Unknown was made its successor region.

If I recall correctly, Gerzam occasionally still shows up. If you’re interested, I could dig up some more history regarding it.

Which of the four other Feeders were founded prior to becoming a Feeder? Also what was the timeline?

I know TEP was founded prior to being Feeder-ed (by 'Hitler the Great,' beating out 'Francos Spain' for worst (psuedo-)founder). Unibot has a time line in this thread somewhere I believe.

TBOB were mostly nations from New Folsom. They had an interest in a lot of old raider regions they'd never had actual participation, they held Driftwood Clan (mentioned at the top of this page) as a colony along with several others (Sealand?) for a long time and appointed Governors over them and also had some splinter regions that members formed such as Out Land (some had their own forums). That is part of the reason the whole Cruor thing became central to their identity, because it was a useful way of culturally tying together a larger community.

A lot of TBOB members were also involved in 'the Hidden Ones', a TBH led intelligence group that turned into Halcones own personal project when other TBH higher ups lost interest (more of the agents were TBOB/New Folsom members rather than TBH members). TBOB members were primarily assigned with spying on TITO and securing passwords for old defender regions.

Honestly, TBOB was very amateur and both it and New Folsom were littered with spies. It wasn't until Unknown that newer, more able members started to ascend to positions of authority. The move allowed them to reshape perceptions of the region too and they built more ambition of their own rather than just trying to step into the boots of old raider regions they had no part in.

So... two questions from me again! I'm just curious.

- Were there any Sinker regions that got added (or more importantly, removed) along the way? Like, sure, you have the Pacific broken into 4 cardinal directions, but... were there perhaps Sinker or Game-generated (is that the term) regions that got yeeted because of something unspeakable, or just because of a technical error of sorts?

- What was the peak number of nations we have, and in which year and time?

For Sinker regions Lazarus was the only original one from the start. TRR was added in April 2003, and Balder and Osiris were made into sinkers in 2011.

There's always been a pretty high turnover rate around here; when I was new the median population was actually around 800 million, and now at 1.3 billion it means the median nation is still only about seven to eight months old. Most people lose interest within a few months, and there are also quite a few disposable single-purpose puppets boosting the nation count artificially; I'm sure my 29 nations could even qualify.

RRA was not the first defender group. The Texas Defense Force predates the RRA, so all I know is that TDF was either the first or one of the first defender orgs and that the RRA didn't solidify into a defender org until much later.

Does anyone know what “the Last Kingdom” was? I have seen it mentioned occasionally in regards to both imperialism and the FRA as a member region, but can find very little about it. Anyone have any clue?

Worst: Probably the guy that got all of New Zealand banned.

Most Annoying: The guy that spams the entire script of Bee Movie. He comes back once in a while and hits up a few GCRs with the entire script verbatim. Just suppressing the post requires scrolling all the way to the bottom of the post and that takes forever!
