  This will be extremely brief
  Dominated by tribes that lived off the coast and traded with seafaring nations. Did not see unity until Salam spread through the region and it was united by a Sultan. The nation began to flourish under the newfound religion and unity of government between the years 900-1200. Crusades and other various invasions did stifle the nation for periods of time too, but it was able to bounce back from its issues. By the 1300s thanks to disunity and strong noble families, the nation broke into warring states and was mainly split into three lesser sultanates. It wasn't until the 1650s when unity was truly restored once more. Balzunetta was then colonized by XXX (maybe Estmere, that could be cool) in the 1830s and remained that way until the 1940s when rebellion after the Great War helped it gain independence and freedom from being a colonial subject. The nation stayed relatively conservative in nature from then on and thrived from the royal family that had been around since the 1790s and during the foreign occupation. The country does well economically thanks to banking as well as a good amount of natural gases and some oil that can be sold on the world market for great profits.

National Overview: I'm not really sure of early history, possibly a couple of client states for the Solarian Empire, before the collapse and then them subsequently recognizing Gaullica as the successor (The Verfrenchshit Empire) till eventually breaking away and a bunch of infighting between the states before the Narodyn Empire makes a variety of client states and forms many new states loyal to the Empire until it is directly annexed and then subsequently breaking away during its Civil War before being reannexed during the Solarian War with an insurgency persisting till 1978 where it eventually declares Independence.

Since independence, Mevidiv has struggled to maintain a solid state with there being deep divisions in society between those who wish there to be closer ties with Narodyn, and those who wish for closer ties with the Euclean Community which has effectively divided the country. It has not performed that well comparatively but with renewed interest in the drilling for oil in the large lake next to Mevidiv and a relaxation on many business regulations has recently seen an increase in the economy.

• General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: The population is generally against LGBT+ people, while many younger generations do not harbor much resentment the older generations do. Despite the prevailing prejudice among the majority of the populace, civil unions between any couple regardless of sex is legal and has been held up with the High Courts of Mevidiv. National Overview:Narozalica, officially the Narozalyk Republic is a sovereign state in western Euclea that borders Kansasto and Minerva to the east and Wazovia and Vedmed to the south-east.

While the ancestors of the Narodyns did roam the land beforehand, the land of what is now the Narodyn Republic within Narozalica was first consolidated and unified into one state, the Duchy of Narod', in 910 by X. The Duchy of Narod' was centred in the east around modern-day Samistopol, competing largely with the Verliquoian Empire, who still dominated eastern Euclean affairs, over the power of the continent. Zalyk tribes arrived in the area around Lake Nimgan in 1256, forming the Zalyk Khanate. The two kingdoms initially tussled over affairs in western Narozalica in the Narod-Zalyk Wars in the latter half of the 13th century, but following the Narodyn victory in the wars, the Zalyks opted to surrender and become a vassal state of the expanding Narodyn duchy. The unity between the two countries was solidified in 1317 when Duke Nikolai IV ascended to the Zalyk throne, and become the first person to be crowned as Duke of Narod' and Khan of Zalykia. Over 170 years of union led to the proclamation of the Grand Duchy of Narozalica, the first instance of a unified Narozalic state, in 1498, to compete with the growing influence of countries like Gaullica, who had been unified and power centralised in the early part of the 15th century. Further consolidation led to the Tsardom of Narozalica being proclaimed in 1567 and the colonisation of the Ledoy Islands in the north in 1570. In 1604 the tribes of Yarat in the south west were subjugated and annexed into the empire. The newfound tribal presence and cavalry-dominated combat tactics of the Zalyks and Yaratans led to military reformations and the creation of the Mornorda - entirely cavalry-based divisions, in 1630. The Zalyks' and Yaratans' prowess on horseback and the lack of anything similar to the armies prior made them extremely effective armies throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, conquering Kansasto in 1722 and Minerva in 1790 - after which the Narozalic Empire was proclaimed. The Empire would dominate Euclean affairs until the War of the Triple Alliance, where successive defeats by the Weranic-Estmerish armies caused the Zalyks and Yaratans - who felt they were ineffectively led by Narodyn generals, and the poorer Narodyn citizens - who had suffered throughout the war to revolt against the Tsar in 1857, deposing him and installing a Presidency in its place in 1861, one of the first countries to do so. Democracy quickly dwindled however as the Presidents quickly began bribing tribal leaders and authorities to continue their authoritarian reigns in the country. The flag was changed in 1880 and again in 2003 following a referendum.

In the modern-day, Narozalica is a member of the Community of Nations, the ITO and the GIFA, and still projects its influence over western Euclea. Narozalica's economy is fast-growing as it pursues industrial measures for its natural resources, which include coal, oil and gas, and in 2017, its GDP was around $2.1 trillion, making it one of the strongest in Euclea.

Culture: Combination of Dutch, Hawaiian, and other Polynesian cultures. Vlissingemond is very mixed and diverse culturally, but in general, Vlissingemond is Hennish in culture with some lingering pre-colonial indigenous Sublustrian influence and customs. Almost all of the nation speaks Hennish (either as a first or second language), but both Hennish and the native Mama’a’oan language are taught in schools, and most signs and documents are in both Hennish and Mama’a’oan. Politically, the nation is split between liberals and conservatives, but there is general agreement on multiculturalism and a peaceful foreign policy.

• Ethnicity: The dominant ethnic group is the huipo (derived from the Mama’a’oan phrase ‘Ua hui pu'ia po'e,’ meaning ‘the people who were joined together’), which refers to people of mixed ancestry (mostly Hennish and indigenous, but also including other combinations). As of the most recent census, the huipo make up 57% of the nation’s population. Of the remainder, 20% consider themselves indigenous, 16% consider themselves White (mostly Hennish descent, but also encompassing other Euclean groups), 4% identify as Coian, and 3% identity as some other race.
• Religion: The dominant religion is Sotirianity, compromising about 70% of the population. Satyism is the second-most common religion, at 25%. The rest is split between other religions and non-religious. However, the government is officially secular, and while many Vlissingers consider religion an important part of their lives, society as a whole is also mostly secular.
  Of the 70% Sotirianity, 75% of that is Amendist. From the island’s conversion the Vlissinger Amendist Church was in communion with the Hennish Reformed Church, reflecting the Hennish’s status as overlord of the island and its converter. However in 1746, Vlissingemond split from the Hennish church and formed its own branch. This branch, Vlissinger Amendism, mostly resembles mainstream Amendism, but incorporates some pre-colonial traditions and beliefs from the Mama’a’oan society. The remaining 15% is Catholic, with the southwest of the country in particular having a growing Catholic population due to outreach and missionary efforts by the Catholic Church in Vlissingemond.
  
• Languages: The official languages are Hennish and Mama'a'oan (a language similar to that of Iwikuam’o). Of the two, Hennish is more commonly used, being spoken by indigenous peoples, Hennish settler descendants, and mixed peoples alike, and is the primary language of government and business. However, most documents and signage are available in both languages. Schools teach both languages, but in general, urban and suburban schools place more emphasis on Hennish, while rural schools (particular in the North) and areas with majority indigenous populations place more emphasis on Mama’a’oan.

  National Overview: Vlissingemond is a diverse nation that is unique among the Asterias. The island today known as Vlissingemond was the farthest extent of Sublustrian exploration, but the indigenous Sublustrians are just one part of Vlissingemond. Subsequent colonization by the Hennish and Estmerish, plus immigration from Coius, has made Vlissingemond into an extremely mixed and multicultural nation. However, Vlissingemond is also a nation in flux, as its liberal Greens and conservative Reds debate over foreign policy (should Vlissingemond be a global advocate for peace or be strictly neutral), immigration (should the country focus on a few groups already in the nation or should it accept more people from other places), and the general attitude. This division also manifests in Vlissingemond’s society, which despite its thorough mixing still sees wide disparities in wealth, ethnicity (mixed huipo and Eucleans are better-off than indigenous peoples and Coians), and region (the South is far richer and more prosperous than the North). Overall, the dominant story of Vlissingemond is diversity, and how the nation deals with diversity in all its forms.

  • General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: Slowly becoming tolerated. Homosexuality and LGBT orientation was accepted in pre-colonial times, but the imposition of Hennish laws led to the banning of homosexuality. However, attitudes shifted back over time, with the ban on homosexuality being lifted in 1960, and same-sex marriage was legalized in 2017. Still, bigotry toward LGBT people is strong, and transgender people in particular are often subject to discrimination and violent attacks.
  • General population's view on religions other than the primary one: Generally tolerant, due to long history of coexistence between Sotirianity and Satyism. There is freedom of religion and of religious expression in Vlissingemond. However, there is longstanding tensions and dislike toward Catholic Sotirians, both due to Vlissingemond’s Amendist history and due to Catholic attacks and atrocities committed by Catholic nations like Etruria.
  • General population's view on atheism: Skeptical, but not illegal. While most people do not trust atheists, believing they are contrarians who are rejecting the obvious truth of spirituality, the Vlissinger tradition of religious freedom extends to the non-religious as well. There are some atheists in politics, but they are often divisive figures.
  • General population's view on abortion: Unpopular, but with a vocal pro-abortion minority. Both the Hennish colonizers and the native peoples placed a high importance on life, leading to a total ban on abortion. However, recent years have seen exceptions added in cases of rape, incest, or if the mother’s life is in danger, and activists continue to push for further liberalization of abortion laws. And despite these nominal allowances for abortion in some cases, there are strict conditions on abortion clinics that make it more difficult for people to obtain one even if they legally qualify.
  • View on other races/ethnic groups other than the primary one(s): Positive toward indigenous and Eucleans, but skeptical toward others. While prejudices do exist between the three main ethnic groups of huipo, indigenous peoples, and Eucleans, the mixing between them means that except for isolated groups, the three get along well. However, the same cannot be said for other minority groups like Coians. As Vlissingemond has an insular streak, it is often skeptical of newer migrants like Coians (‘newer’ in this case meaning in the last 200 years), and fear of Coians and other immigrants taking jobs from the current population is a common trope in political rhetoric. Some fringe groups take this further and physically attack Coians, but the current government has made it a priority to crack down on these hate crimes.
  • Any big prejudices in your nation: While these prejudices are slowing fading away, among the older generations there are still stereotypes and prejudices between indigenous peoples and White groups. Whites sometimes see indigenous peoples as lazy and entitled who seek to live off of government benefits to avoid work, while indigenous peoples seek Whites as a snobbish group of rich people who steal indigenous peoples’ resources. However, the fact the majority of Vlissingemond’s population is of mixed ancestry means these stereotypes are mostly found in isolated areas that are either all-indigenous or all-White.
  • View on immigration into country: Skeptical, but growing more positive. Traditional Mama’a’oan culture is very insular and skeptical of outsiders, and their colonial experiences reinforced this. However, the colonial period also increased the island’s trade with the outside world and exposed Vlissingers to new peoples, which softened attitudes. Upon declaring independence strict immigration quotas were established, although they were extremely polarizing. Ever since, attitude toward immigration has gradually softened, and the quotas are slowly being raised and phased-out. However, some anti-immigrant sentiment remains, and a few third-parties have found small successes running on anti-immigrant platforms.
  • Women's Rights: Generally conservative view on women’s rights, but things are shifting. While pre-colonial Mama’a’oan society assigned an important role to women to help collect food and uphold social order, they were required to be subservient to men. While this attitude of women being subservient persisted into the colonial period, Hennish and then Estmerish colonization brought new opportunities for women, as they became merchants trading with the colonizers and accrued wealth, something that many of the more traditional men were slower to adapt to.
    
    However, despite their wealth, women’s legal rights were limited, with domestic abuse being a common issue. As this abuse was often brought on by drunken husbands, some of these women pinned the cause on alcohol, leading to women becoming politically active in the Temperance movement of 1890s. When the Temperance movement failed to meet its objectives and lost steam, women’s advocacy turned into suffrage, and Vlissingemond was rocked by women’s suffrage protests that sometimes turned violent. In 1928, with the Van der Steege government seeking to consolidate its position after the outbreak the Great War, the Women’s Suffrage Act was passed granting the right to vote to married women over age 25. In 1934, this was extended to all women over age 21, and then all women over age 18 when the voting age was lowered to 18 in 1976.
    
    After they achieved the vote, women started entering political office, with 5 women being elected to the Vlissinger parliament (the Kamer) in 1929 (the first election where women could legally vote). However, much like women in business, women in politics have found it difficult to advance in their political careers, and since 1929 only nine women have held minister-level positions in a national Cabinet. But there is evidence of progress: the current Cabinet alone has three women ministers, and the Opposition has promised even more women in the Cabinet if it came to power.
    
    
  • Views on tobacco/alcohol/pot/other drugs: In regards to marijuana and other drugs, Vlissingemond’s attitude is generally conservative, but this varies by region. Ever since the Hennish launched a massive purge against opium and other drugs, national policy has generally been firmly anti-drug. However, much of the enforcement is on a regional and local level, and authorities in the South (in particular around Kapitaalhaven) have been reluctant to enforce anti-drug laws. This has resulted in a strong drug culture in Kapitaalhaven and a few other Southern cities. Drugs are far less common in the North, however.
    
    On alcohol, Vlissingemond has a long and proud alcohol culture, and alcohol is even responsible for the country’s name. Primitive alcohol brewing began in the east of the country, and the O’tumu (later Latinized as Utomoi) dynasty who ruled that region during the First Warring States Period were generous patrons of breweries. Under Utomoi and then Hennish rule these breweries modernized and alcohol production expanded across the country. Vlissingemond is best known for its sake, but it also makes its own unique varieties of beer and vodka. Reflecting the commonality of alcohol, Vlissingemond has no minimum drinking age, although laws against drunk driving are enforced with legendary strictness.
    
    On tobacco, its usage was first introduced by the Hennish, and from then until the 1940s was extremely popular. However, economic downturn and supply chain issues coinciding with the Great War led to a decline in tobacco consumption, and after the war the Green government recognized early on the health dangers of tobacco usage. The government launched a massive public health and education campaign against tobacco, and today its usage is extremely rare. For the few who do use tobacco, the minimum age is 21.

The Varienland archipelago was originally settled by Tenics, until their assimilation into the Varien and Hetter peoples in 480. Varienland united in 1040 and adopted Sotiranity in 1074. It would occationally involve itself with continental matters, while trading and eventually exploring. Brosia was historically divided into various minor states which united to form the Brosian Kingdom (perhaps early a part of Wazovia?) in the 17th century. Over the coming centuries, the Brosian Kingdom would go on to conquer parts of the Minervan-inhabited regions to its North in the 18th and 19th centuries.
As a result of the Great War™, Brosia becomes instable and the Crimson Revolution manages to royally fuck the country up in the postwar years.
What promises to develop into a liberal democracy after the massacres, becomes a socialist dictatorship which calls itself “communist”™, and later evolves into the oligarchy we know today.
As you may or may not have guessed, this country may very well be everything but aligned with the EC.

Montecara, officially the State of Montecara, is a city-state of approximately 1.7 million people located on a 689 square kilometer main island and scattered islets. Montecara has been governed under a collegial system and unwritten constitution for centuries, setting it apart from almost all modern states. There are no political parties; instead, every citizen aged 21 and older is a member of the legislature, either in the Popular Assembly (Senblèa Popolà), the lower house, or the Senate (Senàt), the appointed upper house. • Ethnicity: Primary ethnicity is Charnean also called Telko-Charnean, based on culture fusion between desert nomads and settled river culture. "Pure" Telkachek, pre-fusion nomad culture, also persist, alongside a variety of other tribes. I will add minority people's based on neighbors. Charnea is a very multi-ethnic place
• Religion: Sadulaarsa, a pyrolatrist non-theist semi-dharmic type faith, is the state religion, while the 'old gods' remants of pre-Charnean polytheism persist as harmonized forms under the umbrella of Sadu theology.
• Languages: Standard Charnean is the primary and modernized version of the primary language. Some areas continue to use archaic versions of the language that have diverged linguistically. Numerous local languages also exist. Most linguistic identities are accepted to some degree, with practices such as bilingual signage in Charnean and the regional tongue, or native language education.

Government Type: Directorial type 'junta' of sorts. The civil going government, State of Charnea, is a legal entity outside of which exist numerous factions with different degrees of influence over it. The dominant faction is the Arrzen warrior kinship with controls the State of Charnea and attempts to maintain peace amoung the other factions.

The State of Charnea is formally run by an Arrzen faction leader, Executor Shahi, who is one equal member of the Arrzen council, which true authority over the country lies.

National Overview: Charnea, meaning Holy Place or Nation, was the creation of Telkachek Allmother (Atafsher) Ziga the Relentless, matron and political leader of the Telkachek confederation that conquered the river cultures and laid the foundation for Charnean culture. Ziga spread her adopted religion of Sadulaarsa to unite the disparate peoples of her new dominion, hence the name Holy Place, a land for all followers of Ziga's righteous path.

Ziga's confederation would dissolve and new entities would take the position of new leading 'dynasty'. The rise of Charnean power, infighting between factions of warrior elite, religious groups and tribal nation's would eventually cripple and collapse the empire, a process punctuated in a hundred year warring states period. The ensuimg War of Ten Thousand Days would see the formation and rise of the Arrzen kinship, which would go on to re-establish central authority over the outlying regions in the War of Reclamation.

Charnea operates on something somewhat similar to a mandate of heaven, wherein ruling factions are deemed worthy to rule based on their actions and morals, and unworthy factions being prime targets for coups and overthrows. Reigning dynasties must defend their privilege to rule from challengers, and the political stability because of this has been lacking.

The Arrzen factional leadership is an outlier in this, particularly in that attempts to balance other factions and reduce instability, recruiting capable members from outside factions to promote meritocratic ideals, and thoroughly eliminating traditional significance of lineage and bloodlines.

Charnea has an unusual left-right spectrum, although local variants of common ideologies such as communism, socialism or fascist variants exist. The ruling and prevailing ideology is a non-nationalist native school of political thought incorporating Charnean political traditions and many aspects of Sadulaarsa into political practice. The Arrzen ideology is a progressive, perhaps modernist, subsect of this ideological family.

Social views:

• General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: Highly variable due to a lack of cultural and political homogeny. On average, it's neither supportive nor repressive, being generally apathetic. It should be noted Charnean conservatism is notably not sex negative or sexually repressive, and as a result LGBT individuals are (while frowned upon or even persecuted in some circles) not typically colored as "sexual deviants" and do not commonly suffer legal discrimination but rather social ostracism in particular groups
• General population's view on religions other than the primary one: Basic tolerance is common, while those that are morally or theologically more compatible are accepted by Sadulaarsa. Some religions, such as the pre-Charnean polytheism, is considered "harmonized" and practiced parallel to Sadulaarsa (the gods and traditions have been altered to fit within the parameters of Sadulaarsa, and so followers of the religion are also Sadu practitioners). Conversely, those religions or religious subsects seen as violating the Sadu code are shunned and (depending on the era) may be persecuted.
• General population's view on atheism: There is a school of Sadulaarsa that is atheistisc, and so many Charnean athiests may continue to be part of the dominant religious affiliation, even their sect is rather new and less widespread or respected. Non-Sadu athiests are treated similarly to practitioners of outside faiths: general basic toleration.
• General population's view on abortion: Accepted amung urbanites while dissaproved of amung rural peoples*

• View on immigration into country: As mentioned, Charnean are typically more concerned with character than national origin, consequently demonstrating less xenophobic attitudes, particularly to those groups who have, in their eyes, "proven their worth" by demonstrating moral characteristics Negative views towards immigration may persist towards particular groups seen as immortal, or in certain regions of Charnea where more insular, tribal nationalist mentalities persist
• Women's Rights: High degree of gender equality, with traditions of all-female clergy, matriarchal tribes (most notably, the Telkachek founders of Charnea)
• Views on tobacco/alcohol/pot/other drugs: Typically commonly available and used, however those seen as severely addicted (what might be called a junkie) are harshly ostracised in society and do not commonly receive aid and necessary accomodation outside of specific tribes and organizations

PS: population and GDP stats are not important to my concept and can be readily modified to better fit the neighborhood. My only requirement is that Charnean territory by large enough to accommodate the intended environmental and cultural diversity (so not a microstate). Something perhaps vaugely modern Mexico sized, maybe a bit smaller if need be.

In terms of map placement if accepted, just point me to the best fit area and I'll draw in some aesthetic borders, we'll call it a day.

Requested Population: ~3 million
Culture: Although taking inspiration from the real-life South Pacific, Sublustria here is not identical in many aspects beyond the surface level. A fair amount of conculturing goes on, and particularly there are significant religious differences. There is a certain pan-Sublustrian identity which fuels the country, though internal divisions certainly remain. The "dominant" group are the Yocatullic people, ruling from the Celestial Isles over the domain of the empire. These people are somewhat distinctive for their long imperial traditions and legacy, as well as their distinctive ecology, but on the whole are still typically Sublustrian in nature. Sublustrian culture holds a particular regard for nature, astronomy, and maritime traditions, and has traditionally relied on these for their success, spread, and survival. The legal traditions such as caste systems, and the natural jungles and volcanoes that dominate the islands, as well as the relative isolation from any given mainland, all loan the Sublustrians to a certain homogeneity and distinctiveness, as well as having inherited ancestral traits from a time closer to Coius. The indigenous culture and beliefs of Sublustria are considered key, and are often difficult to distinguish from one another, as well as bleeding into religious practice otherwise for Sotirians and the like. Linguistically they are diverse, yet their languages are similar enough to one another to ensure a certain degree of intelligibility.

• Ethnicity: Sublustrians are overwhelmingly the dominant population of the country, with relatively limited migration to the region historically. What few foreign populations are hosted largely come from middle-steps like Valentir, initially migrating there before migrating into the Celestial Empire. There is no given island where Sublustrians are not an absolute majority by a significant margin.
• Religion: The dominant religion is Wairua, the name retroactively applied to Sublustrian folk religion, especially within the modern Celestial Empire. Public ceremonies and festivals are dedicated to this religion, and it is treated by all means as a state religion by the theocratic, or pseudo-theocratic, government. Pockets of other religions exist among the limited foreign communities, most notably various forms of Sotirianism. Sotirianism arrived in Sublustria in the 16th century and had a brief flourishing during the early 17th before going on a sharp decline, moribund or entirely extinct among natives, only to be revived once more with the few Euclean immigrants to the region.
• Languages: Western Yocatullic is the official language of government, but two other variants of Yocatullic which are arguably separate languages, as well as various local languages such as Fatafafoluan, Iwikuamoan, and Kakanui, see use locally. In terms of foreign languages, Gaullican is by far the most popular, the Celestial Isles and its empire having long-standing connections to Gaullica as well as the language being a global lingua franca.

National Overview: Founded during the Middle Ages as part of an expansionist period within the early Yocatullic Confederation, the Sublustrian Union initially began as a series of expeditions to nearby islands and the extraction of imperial tribute therefrom. The base agreement that existed has been stated by some to be bowcanoe diplomacy, but in essence it served as a contract for the divine emperors to collect tribute and sacrifice to the gods, spirits, and the natural world, in exchange for divine favor as well as military protection to those paying appropriate tribute. Although this network collapsed during the Yocatullic Civil War, the century following saw it duly reestablished under the more centralized authority that was established in the aftermath. With the rise of Euclean imperialism and colonialism across the world, Makuahine tightened its grip even further, claiming these not just as tributary vassals but as fully constituent members of its empire. Despite this, local forms of governance and local identities persisted, and still do today. Old tributary rituals continue as a modern form of tax collection. The tribal, animistic ideology that has always dominated the region continues just as well, lending itself to a sort of eco-radicalism on top of their older ideology. Xenophobia persists in many places within the empire, though not as strong in form as in centuries past - today often more of a 'suspicion' than a 'hate'. The perception of foreigners largely comes from tourists, who are on one hand seen as an economic boon and beneficial to the communities they visit, and on the other are seen as nasty, demeaning, selfish, arrogant, and broadly disrespectful. Individuals of foreign origin who live in the empire, either recently or for several generations, are seen as more integrated, essentially 'adopted', as legitimate parts of the mesh of Sublustrian society.

Social views:

• General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: LGBT+ has a unique place in Sublustrian society. Concepts of Third Gender have existed for time immemorial, and homosexuality has been seen as a divine quirk in historic times - an abnormality that qualifies one for priesthood. There are numerous homoerotic under- and over-tones in traditional Yocatullic society for both men and women, and even some rituals which encourage such behavior. There is no official means of homosexual marriage, but a cognate idea exists for homosexual relationships traditionally that can be legally recognized, as part of a wider tradition of having a single romantic or sexual partner per sex, or simply a single partner.
• General population's view on religions other than the primary one: Those who do not follow Wairua are seen as outsiders to any given community apart from their own, in no small part due to the public ceremony and ritual that surrounds Sublustrian folk religion. Those who do not participate in these ceremonies and rituals are seen by some as simply asocial, and others as bringing ill fortune. This is an awkward situation for those of foreign ancestry, as tourists are acknowledged as being aware of their outsider-ness, while local-born people of foreign ancestry are thought of as part of the tribe and socially expected to participate in some rituals such as tattooing.
• General population's view on atheism: Atheism holds an awkward spot in Sublustrian society, as with folk belief being dominant, it is often difficult to separate religion from culture. Even atheists within the country tend to participate in cultural festivals and rituals, and thus by extension act in support of folk belief. Those who are true atheists and refuse to participate in rituals and ceremonies are treated much the same as foreign religions, seen with some degree of suspicion and thought to be inherently asocial.
• General population's view on abortion: Abortion has little stigma, and historically medicine people could perform such things through natural means. In the modern day, many still turn to traditional methods, but for the modern hospitals scattered across the empire, they are considered just as valid. There are particular ceremonies involved with the act, though, which must take place alongside and after the abortion. These rituals, for Wairua practitioners, prevent malicious spirits and entities from trying to fill the gap left by the abortion and haunting the living.
• View on other races/ethnic groups other than the primary one(s): Non-Sublustrian residents are viewed as adopted members of Sublustrian society, essentially integrated into the tribe if they were born in the region or have adopted local customs after migrating. It is ultimately their customs, rather than their race or ethnicity, which might have them viewed as asocial and suspicious by the indigenous population.
• Any big prejudices in your nation: You might've picked up on this, but foreign stuff in general is viewed with suspicion.
• View on immigration into country: Immigrants are not entirely welcome, but immigration is allowed. A particularly conservative outlook manifests here where those who seek permanent residency are expected to assimilate and adapt to local customs and language, or else they will be outsiders to any given community. In this case, immigrants could flourish in expat communities, but natives will spare any and all effort to accommodate them.
• Women's Rights: Women have historically faced no barriers in Sublustrian society, and no barriers exist today. Although some activities, like war, are traditionally seen as masculine, there have never been barriers to female participation, and there have been no barriers to male participation in feminine activities such as domestic work. The presence of a Third Gender in this is incidental, rather than being offered as an explanation to exceptions as the case might be in other parts of the world.
• Views on tobacco/alcohol/pot/other drugs: Several hallucinogenic drugs are viewed as important, even holy, with regards to Sublustrian folk religion. Some drinks that contain stimulants and alcohol are revered as part of Yocatullic imperial culture and ceremony, and are well-respected accordingly. Apart from these, drugs are broadly frowned upon. Foreign drugs such as whiskey and cannabis are thought of as cheap imitations of traditional equivalents, which being made from local materials are theoretically available to all classes and castes. This is one area where individuals of foreign ancestry can partake in foreign goods in a perfectly socially acceptable manner, as these things are often seen as a "foreign equivalent", a bootleg or knockoff in Sublustrian hands but classy and elegant in the hands of foreigners.

National Overview: Tyukhov was formed following Tsar Sechenov V (Sechenov the Conquerers) unification of the region into the Tsardom of Tyukhov in 1116. Since then there has always been a Tyukhan state in Euclea. In 1833 following the death of Tsarina Sitnikova and the abolition of the Tyukhovan General Assembly, Liberals in support of the Assembly began rioting in Korokiye. They were fired upon by the Royal Guard sparking the beginning of the Tyukhovan Revolution. Tyukhovo was a member of the Entente during much of the Great War until a revolution against the Pro-entente government of President Yerkhov Urvan Yakovich in 1933 when it officially declared war on various Entente members including Gaulica. Tyukhovo subsequently joined the Community of Nations in late 1935. In 2000 the constitution of Tyukovo was amended taking away significant power form the President and adding the role of Prime Minister to the Government.

Tyukhovo is a Liberal Democracy with Multiple Parties and regularly scheduled with an elected President and a separately elected Parliament. There are x main parties in Tyukhovo: The Socialist-Green Alliance, the Tyukovo Democrats, Farmer-Labour Group, Sotirianity Alliance, Conservative party and the United Tyukhovo party. All of whom have been in a ruling alliance or coalition since the 1930s.

Military Overview: The Tyukhan Military is the primary defence force in Tyukhovo. Wether this to keep peace and stability at home or protecting the nation in war time. The Military is divided into several groups. The Tyukhov Navy, The Tyukhov Republican Air Force (TRAF), Tyukhovan Ground Army, The Republican Guard, Marines and the Special Defence Service. The Tyukhovan Army is a Conscripted force with all Citizens required to complete 12-24 months of Military Service or Training between the ages of 18 and 45. There are no WMD's or Aircraft Carriers the Tyukhan Armed Forces.

Social views:

• General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: Same-sex marriage currently not recognised under Tyukhovo law. Civil Partnerships were introduced in 2015 and a government poll in 2018 found a majority of Tyukhovans support equality for the LGBTQ+ Community.

• General population's view on atheism: More people identify as Athiest then in any other point in Tyukhovan history. Older and More religious groups are generally opposed but the general populace is mainly neutral on the issue.

National Overview: Ostry, as an isolated island in the northern Boreal Sea, remained relatively sovereign, even while under various Weranic regimes, due more to range of diplomatic effort then a real push back from the islanders. In an increasing globalizing world however, Ostrins are now feeling the effect of being a territory under another nation, and a nationalist and separatist political force has gained popularity on this sentiment. Can a small rock in the middle of the ocean with a population of 21,000 finally asturt true independence after millenia and become Kylaris' newest nation-state, or is it doomed to obscurity?
Military Overview: No major military force, outside of Weranic coast guards.

Social views:

• General population's view on LGBT+ rights/LGBT+ people: Accepting, although Ostrin's more provincial natures can come out at certain points.
• General population's view on religions other than the primary one: Due to the dominance of the Solarian Catholic Church, other religions aren't normally even discussed. Offensive comments tend to come from ignorance rather then malice.
• General population's view on atheism: Tolerated, although judged very harshly in some families, which with Ostry's small population can cause issues for individuals.
• General population's view on abortion: Tolerated and generally accepted, albeit dependent on family and religiosity.
• View on other races/ethnic groups other than the primary one(s): Ethnic strife is considered not an issue, due to numerous intermarriages between Ostric and Weranic families over generations. However, historic this was a problem until around the turn of the 20th century.
• Any big prejudices in your nation: Ostry is an isolated place, so new ideas or people will often be looked at curiously, if not in a malicious way. Within some parts of the Weranic community, a prejudice still is held against the Ostric language, although this is changing.
• View on immigration into country: Ostry actually suffers from an opposing severe brain drain, making immigration a generally moot point in most conversations.
• Women's Rights: Women are given signifigant freedom in multiple areas, although a glass ceiling still exists in many workplaces, especially in local politics.
• Views on tobacco/alcohol/pot/other drugs: Alcohol is abused on the island, causing a significantly high suicide rate when compounded with other issues such as cost of living. Attempts to keep a hand on regulation have normally ended in backlash, as Ostrins value beer and liquor as a cultural identity. Other drugs such as pot and tobacco are generally harder to secure and looked with less rose-coloured glasses.
