THE KINGDOM OF JARAGUPTA

To: Selma Kanderschmidt, Director of Sales, Schwyz Defense Systems
From: Marshal Ralabar Balakrishnan, Chief of Staff, Royal Jaraguptan Armed Forces
Re: Purchasing of Aircraft

Honorable Ms. Selma Kanderschmidt,

We come to you in a time of great need. We have been engaged with a Marxist rebellion for some time, and they have only grown stronger with the aid of foreign anti-democratic, anti-capitalist forces. With the aid of our own allies and benefactors, we have acquired funding in order to purchase higher quality armaments on the market to update our aging vehicles, aircraft and arms. We hope that we can count on you to supply us in this time of need so that we can finally defeat this insurgency, as well as defend ourselves from the growing threat of foreign socialist forces such as the Pan-Asiatic States and Cardwith Islands that threaten our very sovereignty.

Please find our purchase order attached with this letter. Your assistance is much appreciated and we would also like to utilize any training and parts and maintenance programs that you may provide.

Sincerely,

Marshal Ralabar Balakrishnan, Chief of Staff, Royal Jaraguptan Armed Forces

Foreign Affairs Minister,

We thank you for contacting us and also for your confidence in us. After review from the Company Board and the NEDF Oversight Committee, we have decided that we need more clarification on your order. You mentioned that the recipients of the aircraft would be a third party, but the above mentioned oversight board comprised of representatives of the Neu Engollian Defense Forces would like to have more information about both the specifics of the destination nations and types of nations that you hope to supply with our aircraft.

The NEDF Oversight Committee are not necessarily opposed to such a transaction, but the nations that would receive aircraft of our manufacture are of keen interest to them, and should they be deemed either a direct threat or indirect threat to our nation, or nations that are friendly to us, we would like the option to veto such transactions.
We hope you can be able to provide us with this information.

We look forward to hearing from you on these matters.

Sincerely,

Sales Director Selma Kanderschmidt

To: Sales department SCHWYZ DEFENSE SYSTEMS
from: Head of acquisitions, Stakund aeronautics.

Good afternoon,

I trust my E-mail finds you well, I have been entrusted by both the CEO of my company and the government of The Commonwealth of Stakund. Recently a design brief was raised and sent down by the Central Defence Bureau as well as the Generalisimo of the Airforce for a small, lightweight, natively produced multi-role combat air system that would offer excellent value for money. As the states primary interior military contractor the design fell to us to produce the design. As part of the design process we are looking at off the shelf systems for the following systems:

Avionics package: We are looking for a lightweight, value for money avionics package, optimised for Air defence but with capacity for ground attack. The system should be compact enough and lightweight enough to fit inside a small airframe.
Radar: We are looking to continue the emphasise on compactness and lightweight design here, We are looking for some form of mechanical multi-mode pulse-Doppler radar.
Radar warning receiver: We are also looking at options for a Radar warning receiver and systems.

As you can see our requests are based highly on compact and lightweight solutions, This aircraft will be the first Jet aircraft our nation will natively produce, with it aiming to replace the Mig-21s and F-4E Phantoms we currently operate. The aircraft will be our humble nations first step into the wider world and self-reliance, and it would be our honour to have your great company at our side as we take those steps. Below are the specifications of the aircraft that I am at liberty to disclose to you at this moment in time.

ACVL P-01

Crew: 1

Payload: external stores

Length: 14.20 m

Wingspan: 9.20 m

Height: 4.30 m

Wing area: 39.4 m²

Target Empty weight: 6,800 kg

Target Loaded weight: 9,900 kg

Target Max. takeoff weight: 13,500 kg

you can see the aircraft in question is not the smallest or lightest jet fighter ever produced, but it is a small design, Ideally, the aircraft will be capable of repeated upgrades over time.

Our government is willing, if you choose to assist us in this, as a sign of our gratitude and to assist in the process, offer you the chance to be the first foreign business to enter our country and perhaps take up residence in our planned International industrial zone and make use of our countries untapped sources of labour. This will even facilitate future cooperations between our nations.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding our Offer,

Ryan Brighton,

Director of Acquisitions.

To: Ryan Brighton, Director of Acquisitions, Stakund Aeronautics of Stakund

From: Martin Trembecht, CEO, Schwyz Defense Systems

Ryan Brighton,

Thank you for your communication. I have personally reviewed it, as I am a foremost engineer in the field, as well as being the CEO of the company. I have also gone over it with the Board and with our R&D team.

We are always amenable to working with our customers when our current designs won't quite satisfy their needs. As we have stated, we have not entered into the market of fighter aircraft other than our turboprop CAS aircraft, the Sergeant LIRCAS, as we felt that the market was already pretty well oversaturated, especially when it came to multi-role and air superiority aircraft, and we didn't have much to offer that would be innovative beyond the popular designs out there. That being said, we do have extensive experience in working with other defense industry stalwarts in coming up with designs that would help them in creating a work horse fighter for their nation's air force. The recon variant of the TaH-26 Tanan Interceptor fielded by the Riysian Air Force, was developed by our team in conjunction with the QAR-ISA Aerial Systems team.

Most of our existing systems are modular and very able to be customized. Our avionics team can develop something based on previous designs to fit the airframe for the ACVL P-01. Likewise, the radar and detection suites team can customize a system from our RWR/Pulswon series of systems, which are capable of both detection of other aircraft and of other radar wave utilizing systems. We should be able to work within the space constraints you have listed with the ability of our teams to already work on small aircraft like the LIRCAS Sergeant, which is about as small as an aggressive aircraft as there is on the military aircraft market.

You also mentioned the need to be able to upgrade as more advanced systems come online. As mentioned before, with our systems being modular and highly adaptable, this should not be an issue whatsoever.

Upon putting forth such a potential partnership project to the Military Technology Oversight Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Confederacy, who have the final say in such sales and partnerships with foreign entities, we were given the tacit approval to go ahead and propose said partnership.

I look forward to your next email on proceeding with this project.

Sincerely,

CEO Martin Trembecht

New LIRAT

Postby Neu Engollon » Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:24 pm

New Products!!

Image

The LIRAT (Light Recon/Anti-Tank) Aircraft

Primary Mission

Customers have had nothing but rave reviews for performance of the LIRCAS in operations, but one area where it has been reported to fall short is in armor interdiction. LIRCAS survivability in an attack on a well AA-defended armor column, as inadvisable as that action is to begin with, is quite low. This has spurred on SDS to develop the LIRAT variant. The LIRAT is more armored to withstand groundfire and the modular mounts are modified to carry heavier loads in order to hit enemy armor fast and hard.
A light titanium alloy skin covers the wings, fuselage and tail for a durable armor that can deflect most ground fire and air to air fire.

Using the same light airframe as the LIRCAS, the LIRAT is modified to hold R-12 rocket pods, Rafutar air to surface missiles, mine dispensing munitions, or other customized modular systems on each wing and a larger caliber 30mm cannon mounted in the nose. While limited in ammo carrying capability, the LIRAT can perform quick strikes and possibly neutralize up to 4-5 tanks or armored vehicles in one pass. When in larger formations, a mass flight of LIRATs can enact a large amount of devastation on an enemy armored front, quite possibly stopping it cold in conjunction with other support forces.

Due to the amount of ordnance carried at full load and extra armoring, the LIRAT tends to operate at considerably slower average speeds than its sister LIRCAS.
This does enable it, however, to make a more focused pass, but the downside is that it opens the LIRAT up to more ground fire.

The LIRAT is still the lightest, fastest, and most economical anti-armor option a force could have in its arsenal. It is much more compact and low maintenance than most traditional multi-role and ground attack fighters, but still built to get the job done.

Secondary Mission

Once ammo is expended, the LIRAT can operate in its original design capacity as a recon aircraft. Even with the anti-armor modifications, it is still able to pack a considerable amount of electronic scanning systems and optics.

Like its sister recon plane, the LIRCAS, the LIRAT is equipped with light sensor and passive electronic wavelength monitoring equipment, as well as high resolution cameras that work over several spectrums, including infrared, thermal imaging and can operate day or night. Data is transmitted almost instantly in constant digital encrypted bursts to command and/or control centers far removed from hazard.

Underwater Drones

Akua Series UUVs

All of the Akua UUVs are highly modular and the user is able to customize a myriad of options that enable diverse operations like civilian industrial purposes such as rapid seabed scanning, and pollutant detection; to military applications like reconnaissance, ‘hunt and neutralize’, ASW, and heavy ordnance delivery. A basic sonar package and collision avoidance system is standard on all.

The modular systems include optical/sonar surveillance and recording gear, BK-7 mini-torpedoes on certain models, and even the NEDI F99 flechette gun for defense against enemy frogmen, which is mounted on the A2 model.

Both the A2 and A3 are also UAV capable for short periods, with turbo rockets installed enabling them to break the water surface and take to the air for a brief period to scan the surface and horizon or enable another angle of delivery, much like a flying fish might skip into the air. However, constant airborne use will significantly decrease battery life.

Reloading of munitions is relatively easy and fast with trained crews and enables a quick turnaround for continuous rotating delivery of payloads on targets using multiple UUVs.

All Akua UUVs are powered by the proprietary L24T Batterie developed by SDS.
It has an operational area of several 100 kms and 2 weeks without maintenance. The battery operates and recharges itself off seawater sucked into vents in the UUV, which is then filtered at a molecular level to use resultant energy electrodes, and then expels a minimal waste product that has little environmental impact. If regularly maintained, the battery can operate for 8-9 months of continuous use before needing replacement.

Image

A (Akua) 1 - Mantala
(Frandit: Mahn-tah-la
Eng: Manta wing or ray)

The A1 - Mantala is the basic, economic UUV choice, but still very capable with several modular choices for multiple operations. It is perfect for the organization or national military that is seeking a UUV fleet of some quantity, but not compromising quality.

It is a great recon vehicle in order to detect enemy submersibles that would normally avoid most sonar, as well as scanning structures and infrastructure near a target coast, both underwater and from the surface.

In offensive capability, it can hold two mini-torpedoes on wing mounts, or be loaded with explosives to become a one-time maneuverable delivery vehicle against enemy hulls. A small cost to pay to take out an enemy capital ship.

Cost: Basic package $95,000 NSD
Full package: $160,000 NSD

Image

A (Akua) 2 - Kalamoro
(Frandit: Kah-lah-Moh-roh
Eng: Squid)

The A2 - Kalamoro is quite the workhorse of the SDS stable of UUVs. It is a very sturdy vehicle and has long endurance with solar cells built in so that it can ride the surface to recharge the lithium battery. The A2 has a robotic arm that is able to be customized to extend out to retrieve organic and geologic samples, or place objects such as limpet mines or to have diamond bladed saws attached for cutting through underwater cables or hulls.

During such operations, the hovering rotors can be engaged to provide for a steady, nearly immobile platform.

For military applications, the A2 can pack two BK-7 class mini-torpedoes, one on each shortened wing.

For defense or offense against enemy underwater drones and frogmen, the A2 is equipped with the NEDI F99 flechette cannon. The F99 can rapidly fire flechettes that are designed to pierce body and vehicle armor with a cyclical rate of 400/min. Short bursts are recommended, however, as the A2 can carry only a limited amount of flechette ammunition.

Cost: Basic package $260,000 NSD (without torpedo mounts, F99 and upgraded surveillance gear)
Full package $420,000 NSD

Image

A (Akua) 3 - Zugan
(Frandit: Zshu-gahn
Eng. Glider)

The A3 - Zugan is an unmanned underwater, high speed glider. The Zugan is the fastest UUV model in the SDS inventory and is perfect for maneuvering in hostile waters or rapid delivery. The nose cone can be packed with explosives or a camera and it is able to mount one mini-torpedo for rapid delivery.

Cost: Basic package $150,000 NSD (without torpedo mount and upgraded surveillance gear)
Full package $242,000 NSD

The Federal Republic of Greal is interested in acquiring the following systems for testing to see if they would be useful for the needs of the Greali Military. The Greali Air Force has taken an interest in the LIRCA in particular as a possible replacement to their own ageing aircraft. The Greali Coast Guard and Navy are interested in the UUV concept.

    20x HTH/AM-203 for $140,000,000 NSD
    3x A2 - Kalamoro full packages for $1,260,000 NSD

2x RCC BARON for $1,440,000,000 NSD
5x LIRCAS (Standard recon package) for $132,400,000 NSD

Agent Lurker,

We thank you for contacting us and also for your confidence in us. After review from the Company Board and the NEDF Oversight Committee, we have decided to ACCEPT your order.

We will have your order:

  • 20x HTH/AM-203 for $140,000,000 NSD
  • 3x A2 - Kalamoro full packages for $1,260,000 NSD
  • 10x RLWR 490 for $160,966,800 NSD
  • 2x RCC BARON for $1,440,000,000 NSD
  • 5x LIRCAS (Standard recon package) for $132,400,000 NSD

To be completed over the next year. As the Riysian Arms Production arm of the High Command is responsible for the production of the AM-203s and not us directly, it will take a bit more time to procure those, but we will do our best to get them to you as we realize that the Riysian site has been closed to sales for some time.

Should this be acceptable, you may deposit the initial fees with our account at EngolBanc.

We look forward to the continuance of a successful business partnership.

Sincerely,

Sales Director Selma Kanderschmidt
